Tehran restaurant in Marbach am Neckar

We went for lunch again today. For the first time, we tried something different. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was nicely decorated. As I said, we were there for lunch and definitely want to come back in the evening.

The food is delicious, the service is very friendly, the atmosphere is a bit kitschy and a bit dated but okay.

We recently ate at the Tehran Restaurant. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good this time. My partner ordered Joojeh kabab and I ordered kabab koobideh. We noticed that there was no tahdig with the meal this time, like the previous time. The yogurt drink, "Doogh," was also not good; it tasted very sour and not what it should. Our meat wasn't good either, which we only realized afterward, as we started having stomach problems an hour later. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Food is very tasty. They prepared special rice for me and the Barbecue was super tasty. It has a unique taste with essence of Safron. Just try it.

The food was excellent, the service below average. We didn't feel welcome (at least not by the female waitress). Nevertheless, it was a positive experience.

We recently redeemed a Schlemmerblock voucher. We initially ordered the appetizer platter...for €20!...it was quite manageable, we expected more for that price...€20 is far too expensive, €15 would have been more than enough! The skewered main courses are very good, served with a large portion of rice, some dressed salad, a cold grilled tomato...everything was quite dry, not even a hint of yogurt cream, etc.! The flatbread was cold, not freshly prepared! The main courses are also too expensive. A 10-15% reduction in prices would have been enough! It seems that the food was somewhat "adjusted," possibly due to our voucher. We generally expected more, but the appetizer platter was quite disappointing. The prices are too high, and the typical Persian spices and at least some yogurt cream were missing. The ambiance is okay; there were still leftover bread, etc., on our bench from one of the previous guests. All in all, the food is okay, but not necessarily a highlight!

The ambience of the restaurant is very dark, as there are no windows except at the entrance. When we arrived, one employee was sitting at the exit, while the other was smoking on his cell phone behind the counter. A brief hello, not a friendly welcome... minimal conversation, only regarding the order. We had stuffed vine leaves as an appetizer... it was okay, but the bread that came with it was disappointingly cold. For the main course, the meat in both dishes was well-seasoned, juicy, and delicious, but the food quickly cooled on the tin plate. When we finished our meal, we weren't asked if we enjoyed our meal or if we wanted anything for dessert or a drink. It was like: now you've eaten, please pay and then leave as quickly as possible... There was no interest in the customer or in a return visit...

We discovered this restaurant through the "Insider Tip" magazine. We were very excited. When we walked in, a somewhat strange smell filled our nostrils. There are no windows. Nevertheless, it is very comfortably furnished. There is plenty of parking nearby. The conditions were very friendly. The appetizer plate wasn't worth €20 in my opinion. It included flatbread, olives, eggplant paste, vine leaves, spring rolls, falafel, and fried squid rings. Nothing special. The meat was superbly seasoned and beautifully tender. However, the dishes were served on a metal plate, which I personally don't like. The rice was okay. We didn't try the burgers, but they looked tasty. All in all, a successful restaurant with a few things that could be improved.

I'd prefer 0 stars. Inside the restaurant, you can find flies flying around almost everywhere. The food was worthless, it was bad. They call this the best Persian restaurant, I don't understand how people can say that. By far the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Absolutely not recommended.

An absolute insider tip! The meat was incredibly tender – a 12 out of 10, truly. Delicious, perfectly seasoned, and super juicy. The portions are huge, you'll definitely be full – and the value for money is unbeatable. As a nice touch, they even included a free appetizer – you don't get that everywhere! The staff were super friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is also pleasant and cozy. We'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, the service super fast, and the atmosphere very interesting, with lots of photos, I suspect from their hometown. You can see that the owners place a lot of importance on cleanliness, which I particularly like. I'd be happy to go back.

Had the 23 djude goal. Quality was top, unfortunately a portion for little girls. 16.50 euros is a bit much. Rice without sauce was a bit dry.

Ordered - waited 2 hours, called. Apparently the driver was on the way. 20 minutes later the restaurant called again saying they didn't have an order. Lying on the phone is absolutely not possible. In short, disrespectful. So it was the last time I ordered anything there.

We ordered 5 different dishes. All of which tasted good to us. Only the rice wasn't hot but rather warm. I would also have liked the grilled tomatoes to be freshly grilled and not cold. But the meat was grilled just right.

Best Persian restaurant in the Stuttgart area!

Ich hatte Geburtstag und wollte mal was neues ausprobieren. Ehemann, Sohn mit Freundin und ich. Lokal war kalt. Zum Essen kam kein Besteck. Mein Mann besorgte dann an den anderen Tischen Besteck. Hackspieße waren Lamm,bitte schreibt das in die Karte, mag nicht jeder. Mein Auberginenmus mit gelben Linsen war total sauer. Konnte ich nicht essen. Hab nur Reis gegessen. Das Fleisch beim Sohn war sehr zäh. Seine Freundin hatte Probleme mit den Gewürzen. 6 Falafel mit Joghurt 11,- Euro. Euer Ernst? Alles in allem haben wir kaum etwas angerührt und über 120,- Euro bezahlt. Für uns war das nichts. Eins noch die sanitären Anlagen sind so nicht in Ordnung.

The food was just OK. The meat on the grill was almost too dry. For the starter, the bread came cold and the calamari came without a dip. It wasn't really seasoned well either. I wouldn't go there again.

Persian food, very tasty, served in tin bowls, takes some getting used to.

The restaurant seems to be very busy. You should bring time. A lot of food is sent out, which hinders the service in the restaurant. The tables could be cleaned a little more thoroughly, the tablecloths offer plenty of space for bread and other crumbs. Price and performance are ok. The vegetarian selection could be a little more varied.

Price-performance ratio is not right

I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. That was definitely the first and last time. Positive: Delivery time was completely fine. Portions were more than sufficient. Negative: The food (burgers, fries) was cold, not even lukewarm. We are sure that the fries were simply warmed up again in the hairdresser. There is no other way to explain the taste, consistency and appearance. Even the salad we ordered had a strange aftertaste. 3/4 of the order ended up in the trash. Too bad

We have rarely eaten so badly. The large mixed starter plate consisted mainly of fried convenience food and was just disappointing. The fat/oil used was rancid. The rice wasn't salted and the taste was below average, we had Bakhtiari, the meat was good but also not enough seasoning as the second Baghali, you had to look for the beans here too, only the leg of lamb was okay. Everything we ate had a rancid, fatty taste. The Trollinger red wine, I assume that the bottle or bag-in-box had been open for a long time, gave the impression that it was diluted, definitely just before vinegar. The beer, if you're surprised, was good (you can't go wrong with that either). For operation; the food was placed with the words; THIS IS YOUR FOOD. No professional service, there wasn't a smile, we weren't asked if we liked it, which was certainly better. We left the restaurant in a hurry for over 80 euros for a meal of absolutely no dignity. We weren't the only guests that evening who weren't happy; outside the restaurant we talked about it with a couple who were also in the Tehran Restaurant for the first and last time. Either we had a bad day, definitely a day on which the frying oil should be changed, that's our impression. We cannot recommend the restaurant. Price-performance far below what is otherwise offered in Marbach

The food was delicious. We had a large grill plate for two. The portion was so big that even 4 of them would have been full. Delicious variety in meat. Some of the side dishes were rather sad and not very tasty (too much vinegar). The starter was amazing. Since there are virtually no windows, the room seems very crowded and a bit like a basement bar. But the employees are very friendly

We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock and were very happy to be able to immerse ourselves in the Persian cuisine. The ambience is very nice, you feel comfortable, comfortable bench and chairs with extra high backs, everything in an oriental style. We were greeted warmly and taken to the table. Afterwards we sat for quite a long time without being noticed - but the friendliness of the service staff made up for it. We ordered the starter plate for two people and 2 main courses. The starter plate for 19.50 euros still leaves me speechless. Seriously, a bowl of three came with 2 warm spreads and then we had fried calamari, 2 fried shrimp and 2 small pressed round minced meat cakes. Plus bread. I was sure there was something more to come. Unfortunately that wasn't the case... According to the menu, the main courses included rice, salad and grilled tomatoes as a side dish. For us, one tomato was spread across both dishes, the lettuce was more of a decoration. Rice was sufficient. There was no sauce or dip. The meat was juicy and very flavorful. The food overall was very tasty, no question about it. However, it appeared that the portions had been adjusted due to the voucher. The starter plate is still a mystery to me. It's a shame because the meat was really delicious.

Very delicious! The koobideh tasted great. We also tried Barg kabab and Shishlik, and they were all really good.

When we entered the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was a pungent smell of chlorine cleaner coming from the open toilet door at the back of the dining room. When we sat at the table, the soles of our shoes stuck to the floor, probably because of spilled soda from our predecessors. Of course, when there are carpets on the floor, it is always more difficult to clean between them. When the starters came, we were disappointed to receive convenience falafels. The main courses were ok, but nothing special. We expected more and won't be coming back.

A very good Persian restaurant with a great selection. The meat was super tender and juicy and the marinade was delicious. We enjoyed it very much. The service was also great. Everyone was very nice and it had a family atmosphere. I can only recommend ☺️

Today we had Persian food for the first time, simply delicious.

We were very disappointed with the starter plate for two people Unfortunately, this had nothing at all to do with the local food. Among other things, there were 5 fried calamari rings, 2 pieces of mini spring rolls and 3 pieces of shrimp in batter, also fried. First of all, an odd number for a plate that is intended for 2 people is bad. Then this fried Asian stuff. What a shame?! The main course was ok. Little meat here.

Discovered the restaurant via the Schlemmerblock. Wanted to try something new. The result was very good. At the beginning we thought the service seemed a bit lackluster, but that wasn't the case. Very tasty food, very good freshly grilled and seasoned meat skewer. Rice was well prepared. Decent portion. Something really different in terms of taste. Friendly service. Unfortunately, the outside and surroundings of the restaurant don't look very inviting.

We have eaten there several times so far and are more than satisfied. The food has always been delicious and fresh. The price-performance ratio was more than justified (Persian food is also expensive to prepare). We even held celebrations there. The staff is very friendly and fulfills your every wish. Wow. Tried Persian cuisine for the first time. Actually very mild and really good. The service's recommendation was perfect. Chicken skewer marinated in pomegranate. We can highly recommend it.

I need to update my review positively. I didn't think the food was particularly good shortly after it opened, average at best. Now the food is very good. Rice/cubic 5/5 djuje 4/5 can be better if the pieces are smaller and the meat is juicier. Otherwise, I'm happy to have a good Iranian nearby. TOP And if you order by phone, everyone benefits.

On Lieferando they say that they are home-made burgers and then a meat patty comes out of the freezer, which is crazy for the price. Never yuck again.

A nice ambience, family atmosphere and delicious food - the prices correspond to today's levels. There were four of us and each of us was full.

We ate burgers and were really pleasantly surprised. Very very tasty. Came across this restaurant across the gourmet block and will definitely come back. Service was also very nice.

The prices are definitely not in relation to what you ultimately receive. In addition, the service was poor and there were only 2 occupied tables in total.

Ordered yesterday with UBER Eats for delivery, Tschelo Kabab and Dolmeh Barg super delicious, would be happy again 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

13,50€ Für übergebratene , in Fett getunkte Zucchini Scheiben, liebloser Tomatensoße mit Linsen und guter Reis (Wie will man den auch verkacken). Das ist ein Witz(Linsen waren übrigens nicht durch :) )

I personally have nothing wrong with the food. For starters, the four of us shared a side plate and an appetizer plate. The main course (Shishlik) was pretty tasty, especially the lamb was great, and rice was served with it. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for service and it seemed to us as if the service was stressed (even though there were only three tables occupied with us). I understand when it's busy and you have to wait a little longer, but I don't like it when we guests are made to feel like we're a big burden on the staff (especially when the store isn't overcrowded) . Prices are reasonable and the interior design seemed authentic.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und hatten ein sehr leckeres Essen. Zum Tee wurde uns noch Baklava gereicht, das auch sehr lecker war. Gerne wieder!

Wer gern neues ausprobiert ist hier genau richtig. Viele verschiedene Gewürze in sehr leckerer Kombination. Das Fleisch ist mega zart. Wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Auch der Laden ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Allem in allem ein oder mehrere Besuche wert.

Kleines Restaurant von außen etwas unscheinbar sehr versteckt innen schönes Ambiente schade das es so versteckt liegt hätte ein besser Standort verdient Service sehr freundlich und nett Essen frisch und schön angerichtet sehr lecker vom würzen könnte man etwas mutiger sein Aber ich werde es weiter empfehlen 👍und wieder kommen

Wir hatten zuerst die Vorspeisenplatte, darauf waren einige Dinge wie Tintenfischringe, Shrips im Mantel und Frühlingsrollen, die a) eher Tiefkühlkostqualität hatten und b) auch nicht sehr persisch sind. Das anschließe Hauptgericht war auch eher unteres Mittelmaß und für den Geschmack dann auch definitiv zu teuer. Allerdings sind die vegetarischen Optionen wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Der Service des Personals war relativ gut und man hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Das Restaurant selbst hat etwas muffig gerochen..

Das Essen war sehr Lecker, das Personal waren auch sehr nett, wir haben sehr schöne Atmosphäre durch Ihre Dekoration und wunderschöne Bilder erlebt. Was ich noch fantastisch finde, die Gedichte auf der Menükarte. Sowas hab ich noch nie gesehen. Wir empfehlen hier und kommen wieder gerne.

Waren mit dem Schlemmerblock in diesem Restaurant und nicht sehr zufrieden. Preis/Leistung eher nicht angemessen. Wenn man jedoch das 2. Gericht gratis bekommt, dann ok. Reis war kalt, das bestellte Spezigetränk schmeckte nach Bier ( Glas vermutlich nicht gut gewaschen), Gäste die nach uns gekommen sind, hatten ihr Essen weit vor uns, Toiletten könnten sauberer sein. Auf dem vegetarischen Vorspeisenteller befand sich Fisch.....Fleisch war in Ordnung und Service o.k. Wir würden aber nicht wiederkommen.

Essen verbrannt und viel zu teuer, Service unzureichend. Der Service war langsam und nicht wirklich freundlich, das Essen hat sehr lange gedauert - obwohl das Restaurant fast leer war. Die Gerichte waren teilweise verbrannt und trocken. Vor allem das vegetarische Gericht für 14€ war eine Frechheit (matschige Konsistenz, sehr kleine Portion). Die Fleischgerichte sind von der Größe ok, aber der Preis viel zu teuer. Wir haben zudem in jedem Essen die Gewürze vermisst. Das Safraneis zum Nachtisch war leider komplett gefroren und hart. Ambiente war in Ordnung, aber vor allem wegen der Preis-Leistung würde ich nicht wieder kommen.

Super Essen, wirklich der beste Perser wow !

Schmeckt wie zu Hsuse, Werktags wenn man keine Zeit zum Kochen hat. Und keine Zutaten und Gewürze die es in der Deutschen Küche nicht auch gibt.

Leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente, leider fehlt dem Außenbereich der traditionelle Charme den man innen findet. Liegt auch eher ungünstig. Allerdings macht das Essen alles wett.

Unser Besuch heute im Tehran war sehr gut. Super freundliche Bedienung, super leckeres Essen, Fleisch total zart und schmackhaft gegrillt. Ich kann diese Location nur empfehlen!!

Die Atmosphäre finde ich schön und die Menge ist gut. Preisliste ist in Ordnung. Reis war leider nicht Persich und schmeckt nicht und Fleisch war mittelmäßig. Kellnerin war sehr nett aber war nicht professionell. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir nicht wirklich da willkommen sind.

Sehr gutes Essen. Richtig gute Orientalische Küche. Nur unser Platz war an der Eingangstüre wo ständig die Türe auf und zu ging. Ist sehr kalte Luft reingekommen gekommen. War nicht gut.

Es war ganz nett hier, freundlicher Service, gutes Essen. Vorspeiseauswahl fand ich etwas zu teuer, die Getränke zu warm. Trotzdem alles in allem eine gute Wahl.

Gegen 12 Uhr war noch nicht viel los. Ich habe zum Mittag einen Lamm/Hähnchen-Spiess von der Mittagskarte probiert, mit Reis, Tomate und Salat. War lecker. Zuvorkommender Service.

Eigentlich eher drei Sterne, aber da der Chef Kritikfähig ist und es konstruktiv auffasst vier. Der Hackfleischspiess war lecker, allerdings geht es nicht, wenn man ein fertiges Dressing bei dem Preis auf den Salat macht. Ayran mit Minze ging aufs Haus. Gerne komme ich nochmal.

Il locale é molto carino, il personale gentile , unica nota stonata il servizio é lento .Tutto ció che abbiamo preso era ottimo , i prezzi sono nella norma , bella l´atmosfera, consigliato.Il locale era pieno, forse per questo il servizio era un pó lento , anche se sono sicuro che si puó migliorare.

Essen wurde abgeholt. Gericht mit Hühnchenspiess war gut, das „vegetarische“ Essen fällt allerdings komplett durch. Safranreis ist normaler, weisser Reis, die Sosse fuer das Essen ist eine Fleischsosse, es schwimmen noch einige kleine Fleischstücke im vegetarischen Essen. absolutes No-Go.

Erst vor kurzem eröffnetes in orientalischem Stil eingerichtetes Restaurant mit ca. 6 Tischen. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, am beliebtesten sind die Fleischspieße (Hähnchen, Lamm, Rind) mit Safranreis und Salatdekoration.
