There were five of us at the beer garden on a Thursday evening. Luckily, we had reserved a table because it was busy. Service was prompt and the drinks were well-ordered. The food was delicious and well-balanced. Even the salad garnish was seasoned with dressing. I highly recommend it.

We arrived in a larger group. There weren't any free tables except for one, but it hadn't been cleared yet. When we sat down, we were reprimanded with an indirect, yet firm shake of the head. There are times when you don't exactly feel welcome as a guest! After that, the atmosphere calmed down considerably; we had only ordered drinks. It's fantastic with children; there are plenty of opportunities to play and keep them busy. Overall, we had a great time.

First choice: Original Schreber's pub schnitzel - breaded pork salmon schnitzel, filled with liver pate, mustard and onions, served with green beans and (mega) fried potatoes

We went to the beer garden. The beer garden itself was so-so, you could immediately tell it's sponsored by Ur-Krostitzer. If only they had at least had the surface, paved or something similar. Oh, and seat cushions would be nice too. The food was okay, I had the house schnitzel filled with liver pâté...everything tasted like liver pâté. But I can't criticize it, it was on the menu. Service, congratulations for having so many staff. But where were they all? The later it got, the fewer people were served. It's a shame, really, no money... The prices are great, though!

Huge beer garden with a playground, and in bad weather, there's plenty of seating inside. The staff is very friendly. The menu changes seasonally and isn't too extensive. Everything is freshly prepared. We enjoyed it very much.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Schreber's Restaurant and was absolutely delighted. The combination of a relaxed garden atmosphere, friendly service, and creative cuisine made the visit a true experience. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste – from fresh, seasonal dishes to vegetarian and vegan options. The quality of the ingredients is particularly noteworthy: everything seems fresh, local, and prepared with love. The service was attentive, warm, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You immediately notice that the people here are passionate about their work. The ambiance is something very special: Located in the heart of the allotment association, you feel like you're on a mini-vacation – whether in the sunshine in the garden or cozy in the stylishly furnished interior.

We were there with the work team and with a reservation for 12 people. Friday evening. The restaurant was well filled. However, we found it disappointing that the entire asparagus menu was no longer available at this time. It's easy to get a supply of asparagus on a weekday, especially if you have parties in the reservation. At least the asparagus starter soup was still on offer, but unfortunately it wasn't edible and was completely returned by everyone. The main courses we ordered were nicely presented and very plentiful. However, my pork schnitzel was very dry. All in all, not a culinary highlight. Too bad.

Service unfortunately overwhelmed

We went there without a reservation and received friendly service. Due to the pollen count we had to move into the restaurant and leave the beer garden. This wasn't a problem and we got a table in the restaurant. We felt very comfortable and would come back there at any time!

In the most beautiful Easter weather, a delicious asparagus meal in a pleasant atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. A small addition is a tour of the historic gardens. Unfortunately, the allotment garden museum was not open, but maybe you can catch up later! Absolutely recommended! We were also able to park cheaply nearby!

It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty. The friendly service took very good care of our well-being.

A sunny day in February and the desire for home-style German cuisine made us spontaneously stop by Schrebers. In a good mood, I ordered a spiced meat and a veal roll roast with an Andechser Hell. After a few minutes the seasoned meat arrived. Extremely hot and actually good to look at on the outside. Unfortunately, after working my way through the cheese, I realized that it was a dry, somewhat old-tasting meat paste... not very tasty and very dry. I couldn't eat it. I thought to myself, take it easy because the veal roll roast will rip it out again. This came quickly... And what can I say, unfortunately it was total disillusionment!!! A lot of fat, hidden veins and an average sauce I was shocked!!! Why do you do that? Why would you put something like that out there? The waitress came straight away and said if I wanted more, which I said no. After clearing it away, it was explained to me somewhat sourly that it was veal roll roast where not only good meat was used 😂👍🏼 I stayed calm. By the way, I didn't get a waiver of any of the bill. There was no apology either. I will avoid this store in the future. Unfortunately I have to say!!!!

I can recommend this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed. The food was very good. It was a small menu but there was something for every taste. I thought that was great. The service was always there, at the right moment and with a friendly smile. Thank you for a very pleasant evening!

We have eaten here many times and have always been very satisfied. Service was, as always, friendly and quick. However, this time we were dissatisfied with the kitchen. Some of the small but completely sufficient menu was no longer available. We had to rethink our chosen meal twice because meat and vegetables were no longer in stock. That's not okay on a Saturday evening at 6 p.m., with a reservation. We were 4 people and had 4 different meals. Unfortunately, no one was completely satisfied with the food. Totally underseasoned but no condiments on the table. also almost cold. We will definitely try it again and hope for a slip-up, as it is a very good restaurant.

Schreber's Restaurant and Beer Garden is a real gem for anyone who appreciates hearty food and a cozy atmosphere. The cool original Krostritzer beer is particularly freshly tapped here and is simply a pleasure. The highlight is the Rostbrätl – perfectly grilled, juicy and with a fantastic seasoning that leaves you wanting more. The portions are generous and won't leave anyone hungry. There is also the charming beer garden, which is ideal for relaxing with friends and enjoying the rustic, friendly atmosphere, especially on warm days. Absolutely recommended, five stars!

Price/performance is not right at all!!! Food had to be seasoned! Schnitzel was just a small salmon schnitzel that was just warmed up (tasted like rubber!!!). Vegetables were almost overcooked. Only the fries were still edible. And the whole thing for an incredible approx. 18 €!!! What a disgrace! Not recommended at the moment!

We sat outside in a very idyllic setting, were served quickly and very friendly and had a delicious meal! Big compliment to the kitchen, four completely different dishes, Lovingly prepared, deliciously prepared, hot and served at the same time. Price-performance ratio totally okay! Nice people and a good location for a trip with children who don't expect culinary fireworks. With smaller children you have to get up from the table if they want to go to the playground, which is a bit away from the beer garden - not a criticism, but a note for people who, like us, are explicitly looking for restaurants with a playground. ;) Lots of stubborn wasps. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing. Schnitzel and fries were still okay. But even the vegetables that came with it were disappointing. The fact that you can do so much with frozen mixed vegetables with too little salt and far too much pepper... The second dish was completely wrong. The beef cheeks were dry, the sauce was basically pure starch, the rosemary potatoes were reheated at least once and things got really fun with the Brussels sprouts. Too much pepper and too little salt, then some with no taste at all... Maybe a dish like that is just not suitable for a restaurant like this. It wouldn't be bad if there were just simpler things on the menu. But if you offer something like that, it should also taste good. It's a shame about the money and a shame because it really spoiled the otherwise good impression.

The outdoor area is beautiful in summer, protected from the sun by large trees. I had the pork slices which tasted very good, but were very seared.

Unfortunately, wheelchair users are not welcome here. The employee was ready to find a solution, but the boss vehemently stopped it. It would be too complicated to have the food brought outside, as service was only supposed to be served inside that day. After kindly pointing out that a solution had already been found with the employee and that it was not possible for us to get inside with the wheelchair, we were sent away in a very unfriendly manner.

A small oasis with a great beer garden, nice, slightly stressed staff, but always friendly and attentive. A visit, e.g. after a boat trip, is definitely worth it. The menu is clear and the home-style cooking fills you up. We recommend. Ps. A small allotment garden museum can be visited on the upper floor of the restaurant for €5 entry.

The ambience is very pleasant for a “garden bar” and you can feel at home. The service team was very attentive and tried hard, there is nothing to complain about! Unfortunately the food is no more than average. Given the prices quoted, I definitely expect more. I had the Schreberschnitzel, which was well made. At €19.80 I expect fresh fried potatoes and not ones from a pack - what a shame! My friend had the salmon with puree. The puree was very tasty, but the salmon died in the pan a second time and was very dry.
