The ice cream tastes great, the service at the ice cream stand is very friendly, and there's good musical entertainment on Sunday.

We found it quite pleasant there, but the tables should be wiped more thoroughly and more often by the "busier."

Beer to go, no receipt, but in the bathroom, they yell at you for not having a receipt... Toilet paper is on the floor. And 5 euros for a bottle of beer, great...

The food has the quality of a construction workers' canteen. The sour cream on the baked potato seemed "old" and questionable, and the salad that came with it didn't deserve that description. The staff seem rushed and irritated (presumably, their jobs are really bad, too). I'll only drink Bionade there in the future, at least then you know what you're getting for your money.

We left after seeing the prices... yes, everything has gotten more expensive, everything has to be paid for, etc., but you can also overdo it. A salad for €13, a sandwich for €13, or a schnitzel for €28 isn't necessary for a beer garden. Where will this lead?

In the pavilion, you sit happily, but something is missing – where is the Gose? No tap, no stream, no fresh water, only bottles standing still in the barrel. It's still there, but not as it once was, chilled, tapped, directly united with summer air and joie de vivre – now all we have left is the frustration of the bottle.

Lousy service and a cake that was completely dry. Absolutely unacceptable.

The bandstand in Clara Zetkin Park is a magical place for me – charming, nostalgic, and full of life. Surrounded by mature trees and well-kept paths, it feels like a small stage in the middle of nature. I especially love the live music on Sundays, which regularly attracts large crowds. There's no admission charge, and you can experience a wide variety of music styles here in the open air – from classical to contemporary. The pavilion is a reminder of how accessible culture can be – without a threshold, simply in the middle of the park.

Update July 2025: Saw it in passing: The ice cream sundae now costs €10.20!! The strawberries and whipped cream probably have to be imported from Ukraine, which is a laborious process. Higher pay for employees is fine; today's €7.50 would be OK. But increasing the price of the sundae by 36% is outrageous – especially for a self-service restaurant. I don't recommend this sundae! €7.50 for a pointlessly full cup (it makes you sick). 40% of it is whipped cream. If you ask for fewer scoops of ice cream in the cup for a child, you still have to pay €7.50 because there are no children's portions. This all makes no sense and was disappointing. Strawberries don't come from Ukraine and grow even in times of COVID-19, so what justifies the high price...? It would have been better to have one less scoop in the cup, 20% less whipped cream, but for €6.50, and a children's cup for €5.50, then it would have been 5 stars. As we were leaving, we were even reminded by an employee (who was actually just standing there watching) that we had to clear the table ourselves... So even that doesn't justify the high price. For us, it was clear: no thanks, we won't be back.

Unfortunately, the quality of the ham pizza I ordered has declined significantly compared to previous years. It's basically just dough with tomato sauce and cheese. There's only a tiny amount of ham. Disappointing.

I was here on a Wednesday; the tables were dirty, even though the restaurant was three-quarters empty, so there would have been enough capacity to clean up the ketchup and crumbs left by previous customers. I found the price of Aperol too high, but the tarte flambée is highly recommended. The man at the cash register also needs some practice. I don't want to know how long the line is on weekends.

There's always something going on here. The food is delicious, whether it's a quick snack or a full meal. And if you just want to have a drink and people-watch, you'll also find something to enjoy!

We've noticed several times this season how ridiculously small the ice cream scoops have become – and again today. Just before ordering, we decided to get ice cream at the glasshouse 80 meters away – it was a perfect decision, and we'll always do that in the future!

Unfortunately, the "Band Pavilion" doesn't live up to its name. A regular complained about the noise level at a weekly salsa party, resulting in the event being canceled (for the time being). Instead of offering potentially 30 to 40 paying visitors an event that would enhance the venue's reputation, they are bowing to the opinion of a single, bitter regular. I find this incomprehensible not only from a human perspective, but also from a business perspective. I would have expected more backbone from the "Music Pavilion"; I've always enjoyed going there. I'll consider doing this in the future.

Unfortunately, the portions of fries, for example, have become much smaller, but the price has of course remained the same.

Self-service, but perfectly fine. Good ice cream selection. I'd be happy to go again.

You're basically sitting in the city and yet in the countryside. Very good cuisine, pizza is worth mentioning, and freshly tapped beer. Clean and tidy. Wonderful!

Our order was completely forgotten, we waited half an hour and didn't receive a partial refund.

I went here for ice cream yesterday. The server, who seemed unfriendly from the start and had no smile on his face, tried to get even more money out of me by accusing me of giving him less money, even though he had accepted it and put it in the cash register. As he left, he told me to "go away." This isn't the first time the ice cream server has tried to give me less change, for example, or something similar. This is to earn extra tips. A terrible place. NEVER AGAIN!

We went there today for coffee, milk, cake, etc. There were four of us. The whole place has the charm of a rest stop, the staff are unfriendly, everything has to be done quickly, it's a self-service concept, the chocolate cake for 4.00 for a dry and small slice, the Rababar cake was terrible, the coffee was okay, everything else was bad, with a total turnover of about 40 euros, I was charged another euro for peeing. Today, June 9th, out of necessity, I had two small soft ice creams. 8.00, sorry, that's a rip-off.

We went on a weekday for lunch. The food was made promptly and the buzzer let us know to collect it. Lots of tables and beware of the over confident birds looking for food. A lovely setting in the park.

We often go to cafés on the weekend. In this restaurant we ordered a latte, a cappuccino and 2 pieces of cake. Unfortunately the coffee is not very tasty. Apparently there is no portafilter machine. Regarding the cake, I have to say that I have never had a less tasty one. Apparently it had been thawing for days.

Very nicely located in Clara Park and easy to reach from many streets (parking lots). Beer garden ambience at its best! The food is freshly prepared and extremely tasty; I have never eaten tarte flambée better than here. If you like it relaxed and rustic, you will feel good and the strawberry punch tastes good too.

The bandstand itself is quite beautiful. The gastronomy, the ambience... Well 🤷🏼‍♀️ The pavilion is embedded in a wonderful park. You can also eat delicious ice cream there. I think the ball deserves €2.00. What I don't think is right is that the person working there that day raised or lowered the prices for the ball at will. Sometimes two balls cost €4, sometimes €4.50. 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't think there's anything to complain about. The food didn't take long. You get a beep when the food is ready. Can you pick it up, price performance fits. Of course not everything is homemade and fresh but it should be. You wouldn't expect it, but the food is delicious. I was satisfied. And extra water bowls are provided for dogs. Nice beer garden that, in my opinion, is well managed so that even when it's busy, tables that become available are cleared quickly so that you can almost always find a seat. Since a different number of self-service stations are open depending on the company, you can get a beer/soft drink in a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes it takes longer when there is ice cream. The whole family likes to go there. Often good live music on Sundays!

Übel. Keinerlei warmes Essen zum Sonntagnachmittag, keine heiße Schokolade oder anderes Kakaogetränk. Und zur Krönung wurde uns preiswerteres Kellerbier als Urkrostitzer herkauft...

In a nutshell.....food (ham pizza), drink (shandy), service and ambience are very good. Unfortunately, the wasps are annoying when they eat.

Unfortunately, a shandy is also defined as a beer with orange sparkling water instead of, as it would be correct, with lemon sparkling water. Scoop of ice cream €1.80. Oh well. 😕

I have been coming here regularly for many years, mainly in the summer. The food tastes good, the ice cream is delicious and the selection of drinks is varied. I always really like the ambience, there is a lot of space and there is live music every now and then. So far everyone has always been friendly to me. The sanitary facilities are good, but the space for changing is not nice or impractical. But in the best case scenario, there is no need to change diapers and in the summer you can just use a blanket outside on the lawn. 😉 Conclusion: I always like being here, the prices are okay and the beer garden ambience is wonderful. Can recommend it.

Having a drink and something to eat after playing mini golf is great here. Unfortunately my potato soup was extremely salty and I decided not to have the small soft ice cream for €4.

The location is chic, but you should give the ice cream parlor a wide berth. The ice cream sundaes had nothing to do with the photos. Served in a kind of deep soup bowl, the ice cream looked and tasted pretty cheap and the serving should be practiced again. That was nothing, so I'd rather get an ice cream sundae in a real ice cream parlor. Price performance doesn't fit here at all. Canned fruit is slapped onto the fruit cup, my friend was just able to prevent that and at least got strawberries. They were fine.

Nice place, very friendly staff, music was a bit loud to have a conversation, but it's also a bandstand ;) Flammkuchen Caprese is good every time, even though I ordered it twice and it was different both times (sometimes with balsamic, sometimes without) and I also find the caprese to be a bit sparsely topped. I find 6 euros for a small milkshake a bit harsh, but you pay for the location: in the middle of the park, with live music. Definitely worth a visit! We will be back. :)

A nice, simple beer garden but if you look at Leif music, eat cheaply, drink expensively

The thirst for beer drove us to this beautifully located beer garden. The inner area of ​​the fenced-in outdoor area offers plenty of space for thirsty people of all walks of life. Nevertheless, we ended up at the beer benches in front of the house. There we got an extremely satisfying view of the heart of Clara-Zetkin Park. Here you had the feeling that the whole society was coming together, playing with each other and dancing with life. If you're looking for a place to slow down and still be part of something, this is the right place for you!

The way I was treated there today was absolutely outrageous. At first everything was normal. However, the service person wrote down the order incorrectly. Instead of a large latte/cappuccino, it became a small cappuccino. Well, okay, repaired and added 70 cents more. So far so good but then, not only did I have to wait a relatively long time, but I STILL only got both drinks in small sizes and was told that then I would have to pay the correct price for large drinks. I then told the service person that this had already happened and that he should ask his colleague about it, who had suddenly disappeared without a trace. But they didn't want to ask, they wanted to see my original invoice. I showed it and the waitress took my bill from my hand without asking, looked at it and then wanted to let it disappear behind the counter. He argued at length that I had to pay the full price and didn't listen to me when I repeatedly said that this had already been paid. I ended up demanding my money back and he angrily slammed it on the counter and walked away. I have been visiting this pavilion every now and then in spring and summer for over 20 years, but for some time now, the service there has increasingly given the impression of a kebab shop and the former quality has declined significantly. Well, with such service staff, you don't really need to be surprised anymore.
