Unfortunately, I can only give it two stars for the great location and the beer garden. We ate in the restaurant. We had to return the soup because it was too salty. The main courses were also of poor quality (cheap products and poorly prepared) and not nearly worth the price. It's a shame, the location has so much potential, but given the food, we won't be coming back!

The price of ice cream sundaes has risen from €7.80 for a nougat sundae in 2024 to €10.90 this year. This has nothing to do with rising food prices or the minimum wage when each sundae is charged €1-3 more. That's very unpleasant and sad. Everyone should earn their living, but a spaghetti ice cream for €11.90? What costs have increased here? Inflation is falling, as are electricity prices, gasoline, etc. Unfortunately, this extreme price increase is unbelievable, and I won't eat another sundae here. The service is always friendly and good, but I'm sure the tip will suffer.

Very expensive. I paid over €10 for two large beers. A large beer in the glasshouse means 0.4 liters! Even a 0.4 liter of water costs almost €5.

We celebrated our wedding last Saturday with 60 guests. The consultation beforehand, the support, the execution, the service, the cuisine, and the atmosphere were truly first-class. We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. We would like to thank you so much! :)

We were here for Sunday brunch with 11 people. It was fantastic! We were able to sit outside spontaneously. The waiter who looked after us was very nice and attentive. The rest of the staff was also friendly and quick. The buffet was delicious, with excellent quality food and a wide selection. We didn't lack for anything. We'd love to come back and can recommend it without reservation.

UPDATE: This time, I only stopped by the Glashaus for an afternoon snack. This time, I was seated in the conservatory. The service was very friendly and attentive. The design of the conservatory was really nice. The tables, chairs, and their decorations are a bit dated. We had the vegan chocolate cake and the raspberry semolina cake, and both were delicious. My hot lemon with ginger also met my needs. The cappuccino was lacking in coffee quality. We also wished the hot drinks had arrived at the same time as the cake. It's hard to sit in front of the cake without a drink, but hot drinks that get cold before the cake arrives are also not welcome. All in all, I enjoy coming here. We went to the Glashaus on December 26th as a family (2 adults, 2 children - 7 and 2) for Christmas brunch. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the Glashaus, especially for families and larger groups. It's a bit noisy, but I think that's perfectly fine, especially with children. We especially appreciated the super friendly staff. That's something to be especially appreciated these days. The food selection is truly extensive. The quality still needs some improvement. The salmon on offer has been dead more than twice and is therefore very dry. We also really enjoyed the vegan and vegetarian options. We'd love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful time.

I've been there several times over the course of several years (inside, outside, served, not served) and have been disappointed time and again. Poor service (slow, miscalculated, slow), overpriced overall, and small portions. When I was there, the attached beer garden area had plastic cups, which is hardly acceptable for a regular establishment these days. Better to go next door...

A beautiful park and a nice place to stop for a while and refresh yourself.

We were at the Glashaus again today. Almost everything was just right – the place is fantastic, only the staff is even better. Attentive, even warm. So far, I've been satisfied with the food. But today, I was disappointed – Clara goat bread. For a whopping €11.90, you get a slice of bread thinly covered in goat's cream. Lettuce leaves are piled high on top, and the baked "beetroot" comes diced from a jar and is anything but baked. Even half the price would have been too much. Please fix this quickly – the staff deserves it!

Three of us went for breakfast on a Saturday and paid €21.50 each. There was a wide selection of dishes: pancakes, various eggs, fish, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, and various desserts. Everything was consistently delicious, and we were completely satisfied. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy despite the rain! One small criticism: We were only asked at the beginning if we wanted a hot drink, which is charged extra. After initially declining, we weren't asked again during our entire stay – that would have been nice. Conclusion: We can recommend the breakfast and would gladly come back!

Once is enough, nothing special for breakfast, the selection is the same as everywhere else, slightly hidden and the prices are really high.

We had reserved seats on the patio. It wasn't necessary. It was informal, and the children could move around and play freely.

The Sunday brunch with the family was very pleasant. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was simply fantastic—everything was fresh, there was a huge selection, and it was incredibly delicious. But the lunch brunch was a disaster. Ready-made products (sauces, etc.) and vegetables from jars were outdated. The chicken leg was very salty, no comparison to breakfast. It's a shame, otherwise it's a very nice atmosphere.

Scene: a beautiful summer day, thirsty, exhausted from work, ready to let our senses run wild. We ordered two "strawberry punches" and a club sandwich. When the server arrived with our order and the order at the table next to us, I could already sense disaster. The tray, which was already tilted at a 15° angle at the table next to us, tipped over about 2 meters away onto the blouse of the woman next to us, along with our order. Only a "strawberry punch," which turned out to be whiteberry lillet, survived. The woman next to us had her day ruined by the intense coffee stain on her white clothing. Finally, the correct punch was delivered as a replacement. The woman left. On another day, we were sold a mixture of sweetener, juice, and berries as a wild berry punch, which didn't deserve the name.

Had a breakfast and lunch buffet. There was a huge selection, everything you could want to eat.

Only mediocre but you can do it

I was at this restaurant on July 1st from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. We were quickly greeted by an extremely friendly waiter and we were offered a variety of seats. We made our decision quickly and were asked immediately what we wanted. Drinks were ordered quickly. We couldn't decide straight away about what to eat because we hadn't seen each other for a long time and had so much to talk about. The waiter came to the table several times, and not in an annoyed manner, to ask what we wanted. After a few minutes we had made our decision. The waiter repeatedly checked our drinks to see if we had any other requests. The waiter was very attentive with the drinks; after all, it was already one of the warmest days in July. After almost two hours we paid and went on our ways with a very positive feeling. I can only recommend the restaurant and the outdoor seating. Thumbs UP!

I was shocked by my visit to the Glashaus restaurant. The service was not only inattentive, but downright disinterested. Drinks were forgotten, orders were mixed up, and questions were met with irritability. What bothered me most, however, was the way the staff treated them. It was hard to miss how condescendingly and disrespectfully the team was treated – sometimes even in front of the guests. This not only ruined the atmosphere, but also clearly demonstrated a fundamental lack of respect – both for the staff and the guests. Such conditions are an absolute no-go for me. Anyone who values ​​humanity and quality service should avoid this restaurant.

Surprisingly high prices for a simple garden restaurant. A large coffee and a slice of cake cost €10.20. The beer is also more expensive than in other restaurants. A 0.5-liter bottle of beer (not on draft) costs €5.50.

The service was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The ambiance was very pleasant. The outdoor furniture could have been nicer. My choice of dish: asparagus with boiled potatoes and boiled ham was a bitter disappointment. The asparagus had lost all its flavor during cooking, the hollandaise sauce was bland, and the boiled ham consisted of five round slices of the cheapest molded ham, estimated to be barely 10 cm in diameter and weighing perhaps 30 g in total, but still costing €4.00. The salad was the only pleasing taste experience with this dish.

The brunch is great, the ambiance is okay, but I don't recommend eating from the menu; a lot of it is instant, the taste is simply boring, and the food is brought to the table far too quickly.

Usually always delicious. But yesterday, when a (I hope) trained waiter spent five minutes trying to light a gas grill with a lighter, only realizing the gas cylinder was empty when (presumably) the manager arrived, it certainly struck me as very competent. During that time, we had already waited 15 minutes for two sausages, which were still raw on the grill at that point. Not recommended; I'd rather eat somewhere else than wait unnecessarily for food.

I was there as a guest at a small celebration on a Sunday afternoon. We had to ask for the menu first when the waiter wanted to take our order. We then had to ask for the ice cream menu separately. When there was a mix-up with the cake order, the guest was discussed.... The drinks arrived much later than the cake and ice cream. Empty dishes were also only cleared away after we pointed them out, even though other items had already been ordered and served in the meantime.

We were invited to Branch's birthday party, and it was Mother's Day. The restaurant was packed, noisy, and the women's race wasn't forgotten... The food was satisfactory, but the salmon was overcooked and the asparagus and pasta were sticky. Too bad. 😒 The cold course was good. We'll try again another time. I didn't try the ice cream; a scoop of €2.50 is too expensive for me.

Yes, we can recommend it, but be careful when ordering whether it's brunch or breakfast. Unfortunately we were disappointed on May 1st. According to the internet, there is always a holiday brunch on public holidays, which was not the case for May 1st, as we only found out on site. That really dampened the mood. At the latest when ordering, we should have been informed that the holiday regulations for May 1st do not apply, for whatever reason.

I can even highly recommend the glass house in Clarapark. We were there late on a Thursday afternoon, it had been raining all day and we found a warm, romantic spot by the high window. The marzipan cappuccino was incredibly tasty and the apple strudel was quickly eaten. I would love to come back as a couple at any time 🤗 It wasn't noisy, the company was very pleasant and the chairs were comfortable.

Easter holiday brunch in beautiful spring - Clara Park is an absolute highlight! For the price, an absolute top selection of warm and cold dishes, as well as a lunch buffet included....fresh bread....for children, a fun, colorful variety of pancakes, muesli, donuts,...fried sausages...whatever a child's heart desires. This restaurant suits Leipzig. In the green and far away from the noise and hustle and bustle. We were invited to a family celebration. The management responded to all special requests, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The buffet was very good rich with many little surprises. On this basis you can celebrate really well!

I've been here quite often (at least 20 times in the last year), it's a lovely place to sit outside in the warmer seasons. The fact that prices have risen significantly in recent years: OK, that's the case everywhere and understandable. But if you, as a guest, ask for a sip of tap water with your small cappuccino for 5 euros (1 euro extra because it's caffeine-free, elsewhere it's also possible at no extra charge, but so be it) and that seems to be completely impossible, then I find that inhospitable and disappointing. But what really annoyed me was the waitress's urgent need to be right in this matter. Guys, it's not about right or wrong - just acknowledge that this disappointed me, but leave aside silly arguments like "we have to pay for all the water" (note: price approx. €5 per 1000 liters), "if everyone did that, everyone would only drink tap water" (this isn't about quenching your thirst, but about a glass of schnapps) or "water with coffee is only available in Germany anyway, otherwise nowhere" (mhm). Well, then I'll go here less often. Too bad!

Nice place in the middle of Clarapark. There are some food and cakes to choose from as well as shady and sunny places outside as well as enough to sit inside. The service was neutral and the hot chocolate, for €5.10, was only made with water, which I found quite disappointing. The amount was good, but instant cocoa with water is disgusting. Especially not for this price. The toilets were clean, but the water for washing hands is ice cold. All in all, I would look for another café next time. Ps: And typos on the map....

There was a large selection of delicious and fresh food, the staff was very friendly, but the items were not directly labeled, there was just a list next to them. I knew e.g. For example, I don't even know that the little pancakes were pancakes and not quark balls. Please fix. But it was nicer inside than outside, and luckily we were inside. But the location in the park is beautiful, after a 7-course meal you can take a nice digestive walk to the island pond and the weir, which are practically right next to it.

Beautiful place to sit outside when the weather is nice. The food was very tasty, the portion size was definitely very large so you can save yourself the starter 😅. One point deducted because the tarte flambée was left open for too short a time, a few minutes longer then it becomes very crispy, we didn't have to wait long for our food. And we all enjoyed it. Over all, the price was right. It's not the cheapest, but you get something for your money. My asparagus was al dente and my schnitzel wasn't too thin or too dry. Requests were met and the staff is also very fond of animals. We were there with the dog. The menu selection is large and, depending on the season, there is a menu with seasonal dishes at the front. There is also homemade lemonade which is highly recommended. There is also a separate ice cream menu.

The ambience is really nice and the service was nice but unfortunately the food was absolutely subpar. The food was on the table in less than 5 minutes, which is never a good sign. I had tagliatelle with green pesto and my partner had the rosemary potatoes. Both were pretty tasteless and unsalted but above all completely overcooked. The pasta fell apart on my fork and not even the pine nuts could add any flavor to the dish. Why you don't roast pine nuts beforehand and simply throw them carelessly into a bland-tasting meal is beyond my knowledge. Both dishes tasted as if they had been reheated in the microwave for the umpteenth time. For us it was the first and last time in the restaurant. But it's still worth enjoying a cold drink and some fries outside in summer.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Leipzig. The food is fantastic, the staff very friendly. The ambience is just awesome. Both inside and in the very nicely designed outdoor area you can eat and drink very well in smaller or larger groups. And the location in the middle of Clara Zetkin Park, one of Leipzig's green lungs, means you have wonderful peace and fresh air. After eating, the surrounding area invites you to take a leisurely walk with your dog, child, family and friends. The Glass House is always recommended, especially for visitors to Leipzig.

The glass house in Clara Park is really highly recommended. After a wonderful walk you can stop there in peace and quiet and have a little something to eat and drink. The service is very accommodating and also super nice. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of the park. The Clarapark is also beautiful and it's always a liberating feeling to go for a walk there and relax.
