Every now and then a stage is set up and live music is presented. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating. Even for a french fry you wait about an hour here on the weekend. I recommend stopping here for a maximum of one drink.

We stopped here with friends on a bike tour and had a coffee. And “anne Bänke” is ideal for such a rest! You sit on wide benches under a roof (very good in the sun or rain) and there is plenty of space. And while you take a break you have a beautiful view of the Wesel-Datteln Canal. This place is highly recommended for a stopover.

Kann alles schön sein bei „Anne Bänke“, aber dass man als Anwohner dieses Biergartens am Tag Christi Himmelfahrt von morgens bis abends mit Musik Bässen und Mikrofon Geschrei beschallt wird und man keine Chance hat in Ruhe oder mit Gästen im Garten zu verbringen, find ich nicht gut. Es kann jeder an solch einem Tag sein Bierchen genießen, aber warum muss man ganz Östrich mit diesem Getöse beschallen, nach dem Motto je lauter, desto besser. Hauptsache die Kasse bei den Besitzern klingelt…kein Verständnis !

Discovered today by accident. It was really nice. Located directly on the canal. Any time. Snack menu and delicious drinks.

Always a good address for delicious food and a cozy beer. The selection of beer is second to none. And the crispy fries...a blast. The staff is friendly and courteous.

I passed here on my bike tour. Since I never know exactly what I will encounter, I was very pleasantly surprised.

The food is really excellent there. Everything tastes really, really tasty. We are there regularly in the summer, now they are finally open again 😃 A wide selection on the menu. There's no kebab or pizza there, but I don't think that's a bad thing. 😆 Various normal thick french fries sticks and not too thin like at macher Bude and still nice and crispy 😋. Salads, sausage, schnitzel... There is also a large selection of drinks. Hot and cold drinks! Different types of beer, wine, sparkling wine, cola, Fanta water... and the prices are definitely reasonable. It's very nice to take a short or longer break in the open air. There are plenty of places to sit (but it's pretty crowded even on warm days). There are also toilets, which are actually very clean and don't cost anything extra :)) Everything is well thought out there. Even the ashtrays or the lids are cleaned and collected by someone in between 👍 However, you cannot reach the place by car because it is located exactly between the Lippe and the canal. With a bike or even a wheelchair this is very good. For the smaller guests there are swings, a slide and some play equipment, so you don't even have to take a bowl, mold or bucket with you for the sandpit 😄 👌 It's also easy to talk to other people. Everyone is in a good mood and nice. We spent a few very, very nice hours there today and I can hardly wait until the weather gets really nice again and we go on a regular little bike ride there again.

Eine sehr gute Auswahl an Flaschen Bieren, vom Zwickel bis zum bayrischen Hellen, für jeden was dabei. 0,5l 2,8€ auch vom Preis OK Ab 15:00 Uhr gibt es wohl auch eine Kleinigkeit zu essen, jedoch nur bei gutem Wetter. (konnten wir leider nicht ausprobieren)

Hallo liebe Guide Gemeinde, ist für mich im Sommer immer ein gern mit dem Fahrrad angestrebter Ort.. Fahre von Hassel über Polsum und Hervest über den Lippedeich an Dorsten vorbei nach Östrich. Das Essen ist einfach gehgalten, entspricht also Campingplatz Niveau aber für einen kleinen Imbis OK. Der Service ist Selbstbedienung die drei Sterne habe ich wegen dem netten Service an der Theke vergeben aber ich finde das Ambiente toll und rustikal.Man sitzt am Wasser (Wesel-Datteln Kanal) und läßt sich sein Bierchen oder anderes schmecken,gutes Wetter vorausgesetzt. PS:Die Lippe-Brücke vor Hervest ist zur Zeit wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt,aber eine Umleitung Richtung Dorsten ist vorhanden.

Wenn man Leute aus der Umgebung Gahlen, Dorsten, Schermbeck etc. trifft.... dann dort. Vorzugsweise am Wochenende ist es ein beliebtes Ziel für Radfahrer und Fußgänger, die dort verweilen, ein Päuschen einlegen. Man kommt schnell mit den Leuten ins Gespräch (soweit man es möchte). Der Service ist immer nett und das Essen gut und günstig. Pommesbuden-Charme, aber völlig in Ordnung. 😉🤗 Auch mit Kindern und Hunden ist man dort gern gesehen.

Ist irgendwie originell, fühle mich immer wieder wohl

Hallo, wurde gestern mit meiner Frau der Örtlichkeit von einem sehr arroganten Getränkeausgabemitarbeiter verwiesen, nachdem ich im enttäuscht mitteilte, dass ich 23 km hierhin radele und nun bereits zig-mal ohne Erfolg versucht habe, hier etwas zu Essen zu bestellen. Mal hat die Küche um 19:00 gerade geschlossen, mal wird die Bestellung nicht entgegengenommen, weil zu viel zu tuen ist. Man solle es in einer Stunde nochmals probieren. Es sollte nur eine Bratwurst sein! Einmal wurde mir gesagt (ob es der gleiche arrogante Mitarbeiter war kann ich nicht mehr sagen), dass er jetzt Pause hätte und ich mir mein Getränk über die Brücke und dann immer geradeaus im Getränkeshop kaufen könne. Einfach nur unverschämt. Trotz momentaner Personalknappheit, sind solche Personen meines Erachtens nicht tragbar. Auch wenn die aktuelle Geschäftslage anscheinend extrem gut läuft (sonst würde man wohl nicht so mit Kunden umgehen), kann sich das unfreundliche Verhalten dieses hoffentlich einzigen schwarzen Schafes herum sprechen. Der Fairness halber muss ich sagen, dass ich auch schon zuvorkommend bedient wurde, jedoch leider öfter eben nicht.

Für alle die gerne mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sind und ne Pause brauchen ist das der ultimative Rastplatz! Es gibt ein nettes Plätzchen zum sitzen, essen und trinken sowieso und viel zu glotzen. Auf m Wasser und an Land ! Ist schön da!

Sehr schön, direkt am Kanal gelegen man hat immer was zum gucken, das Bier war schon kalt und die Pommes waren lecker 🙋🏼‍♂️ Preise sind in Ordnung.

Also würde sicher nett sein, ab 13 Uhr der Imbiss/Kiosk geöffnet, aber ne Bockwurst oder Frikadelle oder eben was die haben erst ab 15 Uhr. Das kann ich nicht echt und wirklich verstehen. Evtl hatte der Besitzer heute auch n schlechten Start in den Tag, den wenn man freundlich ist und lächelt bekommt man n Nicht gut gelaunt Ausdruck zurück. Was soll es, egal, aber nicht echt wegen den dahin. Ansonsten ist es schön dort.

Eine schöne Stelle für eine Pause um etwas zu Trinken. Leider waren wir zu Früh dort,weil die Küche um 15Uhr Öffnet. Hatten wir Pech.

Heute das erstemal dort gewesen. Es war sehr gut besucht ,wir haben nur nette Leute da getroffen. Wir haben uns nett unterhalten mit einem anderen Pärchen das auch mit den Fahrräder da war.

Waren mit E-Bikes dort. Schöner Ort zum Pausieren oder einem längeren Aufenthalt. Direkt am Kanal gelegen. Gute Getränke-und Speiseauswahl. Stromstation mit Luftkompressor ebenfalls vorhanden. Eine gute Adresse!

Super Location freundlich sauber und lecker

Toller Biergarten in herrlicher Lage am Kanal. Sehr große Auswahl an Biersorten, Speisekarte reicht für einen Biergarten völlig aus, Essen ist lecker. Preise sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Jederzeit wieder!

Ein sehr uriger und gemütlicher Biergarten direkt am Kanal. Große Auswahl an Biersorten. Wo bekommt man noch einen halben Liter Bier für 2,80 Euro ???? Currywurst war auch gut. Wir kommen wieder 😊.

Gefrorene Weizengläser und die passende Pommes Schranke, was will man mehr? Blick auf den Kanal vielleicht? Die Bänke sind direkt am Wasser!

Einen Service gab es nicht! Dort wird abgefertigt, kassiert, und dann ist eilig der Nächste dran! Hier war es mal schön, irgendwann!

Schöne und saubere Location zur Einkehr nach dem Kanal Sport. Sehr gut organisiert mit den Pagern. Da gibts kein Anstehen oder Drängelei. Der Ablauf ist Super entspannt. Drinks und Essen bestellen, Getränke schon mal zum Sitzplatz mitnehmen, wenn das Essen fertig ist, brummt der Pager, zur Theke gehen, abholen, fertig und genießen. Obwohl es am Wochenende immer sehr gut besucht ist, bekommt man immer einen sauberen Sitzplatz, mit Blick zum Kanal ;-). So mag ich meinen Pott.

Örtlichkeit soweit in Ordnung. Aber die Bedienung (Inhaberin?) geht einmal gar nicht. NIE wieder leider!

Perfekter Erholungsstation für Radfahrer, Läufer und Spaziergänger. Ob Kaffe/ Kuchen oder etwas Deftiges, hier wird man freundlich und aufmerksam bedient, trotz Selbstbedienung. Schöne Sitzgelegenheiten am Kanal.

Wer während einer Radtour am Kanal in Dorsten eine Erfrischung sucht wird hier fündig. Auch kleine Happen gibt es hier zu fassen...
