Ein wirklich schöner Biergarten mit mega Ambiente direkt am See. Man fühlt sich sofort wie im Urlaub – die Lage ist einfach top! ☀️🌊 Leider hat uns das Essen nicht überzeugt. Ich hatte eine Currywurst mit Pommes. Beides war leider nur lauwarm und wirkte eher aufgewärmt. Die Pommes waren zudem ziemlich labbrig und geschmacklich leider nicht besonders gut. Auch die Currywurst konnte uns nicht wirklich überzeugen... Mein Mann hatte den Obazda, der dafür richtig lecker war. Allerdings ist eine einzelne Breze für die große Portion zu wenig. Vielleicht könnte man hier zwei Brezen dazu anbieten. Schade, denn eigentlich sind wir vom Fischer etwas anderes gewohnt. Der Biergarten und die Lage haben wirklich großes Potenzial. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder und hoffen, dass es beim nächsten Mal auch kulinarisch wieder passt... 🙂

Wir haben was getrunken und die wunderschöne Aussicht genossen. Ein Gefühl wie Urlaub. Total entspannend.

Extrem unfreundlicher blonder Verkäufer, interagiert herablassend mit Kunden. Wir kamen kurz vor Ladenschluss (was wir nicht wussten) und er ließ uns erstmal die ganze Karte durchgehen während er jedes mal gelangweilt “gibts nicht mehr” antwortete. Am Ende rückte er monoton heraus, sie würden in 7 Minuten schließen. Wir bekamen noch eine kalte Currywurst und Pommes. War leider nix.

Die Location ist genial, aber an warmen Tagen auch sehr überfüllt. Auch wenn man nur essengehen will, zahlt man Parkgebühren. Der Service ist nett und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind Wucher, was aber leider normal ist an bayrischen Seen.

Toller Laden, ein Muss für den Halt bei der Fahrradtour.😉👍

Cooler Ort, aber das Essen im Biergarten war nicht besonders gut.

Eine nette und entspannte Location mit leckerem Essen und einer riesigen Getränkeauswahl. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf den See und viele Sitzplätze.

Ein ruhiges Strandbar Plätzchen wenn man unter der Woche vorbei kommt, mit demn Füssen im Sand, guter Latte Macchiato, Liegestütze. Preislich ok. Nervig ist das Dauergeräusch der Autobahn. Ansonsten schönes Plätzchen.

Wunderbarer Biergarten. Selbstbedienung. Gute Auswahl an Getränken, leider kein Essen nur eine kleine Kuchenauswahl. Es war toll zum Sonnenuntergang dort zu sitzen. Viele Kinder im vorhandenen Spielplatz, daher ein leichter Geräuschpegel, jedoch nicht störend.

A very nice beach bar with a tasteful ambiance. Everything about "Fischers" is designed with so much taste and passion. I like the professionalism of the entire customer service process. They've really put thought into ensuring customers don't spend time waiting during their visit and can enjoy the view of the lake. The food is high-quality, very reasonably priced, and, most importantly, delicious! The highlight is the ice cream bar. AMAZING ICE CREAM! It's indescribable. My favorite: the plum ice cream. It's amazing. We always enjoy coming back when we're in the area. One small comment: it would be better if there were some kind of blanket on the wooden benches. Since the wood is very rough from the weather, it's easy to tear threads or get a run in your trousers. Otherwise, thumbs up!

I ate a cappuccino and a piece of cake and sat by Lake Ammersee.

The beach bar at the Fischer Restaurant is beautifully located, right on the lake with a clear view of the lake. The menu selection sounds good. We were thrilled with the vegan options. Unfortunately, the children were disappointed with the fries and "bratwurst." It was a currywurst instead of a bratwurst, and the fries were soggy. When asked, they said they only had sausage. So, the bratwurst roll would have sausage on it? Strange. I enjoyed the salad with falafel balls. It was fresh with a good dressing. The balls were very soft on the inside and only crispy on the outside. What bothers me a lot is smoking outdoors. It should be banned in the dining area! Only in designated areas where it doesn't bother children or others.

Actually, it's pretty cool, except when you're sitting directly under a speaker. Then it's definitely too loud.

We've been driving to Lake Constance in our convertible for 33 years. That means we've known the restaurant since Grandma still had curtains. We've been turned away several times: First, they suddenly announced a dog ban, then they said everything was reserved. If only 30% of the seats are occupied at 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening and the staff doesn't want to spend 45 minutes serving guests because it's supposedly too stressful – well, then that's not the case. We'll never come back. By the way, we were threatened with legal action during the last review, and the wording was no different. We recommend the Schreyegg next door! Completely uncomplicated.

Whether it's the Fischer beach bar, the Fischer ice cream parlor, or the Fischer restaurant, it's simply always beautiful here. So lovingly run, with so much heart. Yes, they celebrate life... Regardless of the powerful setting, the wonderful Ammersee, this restaurant is worth a visit. In the dictionary, the word "paradise" probably refers to the "Fischer Ammersee." It sounds exaggerated, but it's true... Enjoy!

Top location, at the northern tip of Lake Ammersee. Great ambiance with views across the lake to the Alps. Prices are absolutely reasonable.

An atmospheric place with a view of the lake, there is a restaurant and an ice cream parlor, and nearby there are boats that you can take for a trip around the lake.

Great view of the lake. Self-service food and drinks. The food is pretty good for a snack bar. A small drawback is that the lack of tables makes it rather uncomfortable to eat, but there are also beer benches if you don't mind sitting directly on the shore. So, all in all, it's a great place to relax.

Everything you need for a wonderful afternoon/evening by the lake. Simply beautiful and accordingly busy. There are a variety of seating options, from comfortable beach chairs to beer garden benches. Plenty of shade, too. In the evening, it's atmospherically lit. The Thai curry is highly recommended; otherwise, it's more like fast food. Try the Spicy Hugo for a great specialty drink.

The wonderful beach atmosphere is unfortunately spoiled by the snobby guests. A very tiring crowd. Many old, white men who are still in their 80s. The food at the beach is rather average, but the restaurant is very good. Service is self-service, somewhat lackluster.

Nice location, but few shady spots, self-service. They only serve 2-3 different dishes. The "Currywurst" was definitely not currywurst. The Leberkäse is wafer-thin. The price is way too high for that! The taste isn't convincing. We won't be back.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Schöne Tisch lage. Lage Restaurant ideal gleich am Parkplatz, Bootssteg. Aussicht wunderschön. Gutes essen . Schön fand ich das Eiswürfel in ein behälter serviert wurde. Kann ich nur emfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

I can recommend this place anytime. It had a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was a bit windy on the day I visited. But you can't choose that.

Im Rahmen eines Geschäftsbesuches hatten wir für das Abendessen im Restaurant Fischer einen Tisch reserviert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es gibt eine Speisekarte auf Englisch, so dass wir dem Besuch nicht übersetzen mussten, was ich immer umständlich finde. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zügig bedient und das Essen war lecker. Besonders schön: wir saßen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See und die Berge in der Ferne! Kleiner Punktabzug für die doch recht hohen Preise, aber wir würden dennoch gern wiederkommen!

Very nice location, right on the lake. Self-service, but a large selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic beers. The food is basically standard fare for a self-service beer garden. Unfortunately, we were unlucky, as there was construction work going on right next door to the restaurant, which was very loud at times, making conversation almost impossible. A shame! Unfortunately, it ruined the lovely, brief holiday feeling on my day off. The staff behind the bar were absolutely friendly.

Cozy beer garden right on Lake Ammersee – perfect for a relaxing break! The atmosphere is very chill, with shade and water views. Ideal for coming down when the weather is nice. Parking spaces are available, but parking costs at least €2.50, which you should take into account. The currywurst with fries for €10.50 was delicious and the portion was absolutely fine. Overall, fair prices for the location right on the lake. Staff was friendly and relaxed – as was the whole place.

What I liked most was the calm atmosphere at sunset, but the hot chocolate was unfortunately a little warm. That didn't stop me from enjoying this cozy place.

Always full when the weather is nice. Ambiance is nice. You have a clear view of Lake Ammersee and a beautiful view of the Alps. Prices are slightly higher than elsewhere, but the view and location make up for everything.

Wir waren dort, sehr unfreundlich dieser Restaurantleiter! Aber .. noch schlimmer waren die sanitären Anlagen, somit die Toiletten! Unglaublich!!!!

Eine Bewertung des Biergartens erfolgt extra. Zum Restaurant: zuerst waren wir irritiert, weil wir mit Hund nicht hinein durften. Nach einer sehr freundlichen Erklärung war das jedoch OK. Ich möchte auch nicht neben einem nassen und entsprechend riechenden Hund essen 😀. Es hat dann halt noch ein bisschen gedauert, bis wir ohne Hund dort waren. Die Karte ist klein und bietet eine gute Auswahl. Inkl. eines veganen Gerichtes. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service ist ausnehmend freundlich und aufmerksam. Zwischenzeitlich waren wir zweimal im Restaurant. Beide Besuche waren sehr schön.

1/2 l offener Luganer 25 € – der war wenigstens gut. Ein Burger 29 € – statt medium VERY well done ... und wer zur Hölle braucht Trüffelmayonnaise zu Pommes rot-weiß?! Das Tandorihuhn (26€) war unmotiviertes leicht fettes Masthuhn So nicht ... nicht mal im Süden von München

Wir können das Essen nicht bewerten . Denn zum Essen kam es leider nicht , wir durften mit unseren beiden lieben Hunden nicht ins Restaurant und mussten uns deshalb von unseren Freunden , die ohne Hunde natürlich ins Restaurant durften, verabschieden . Ich darf ihn aber mitbringen, wenn ein Erdbeben die Welt erschüttert und du begraben unter Schutt bist, damit er dich rettet. Ich darf ihn aber mitbringen, wenn du unter Schnee verschüttet liegst, damit er dich findet. Ich darf ihn aber mitbringen, wenn du dich im Wald verlaufen hast, damit er dich findet und du leben kannst. Manchmal opfert er sein eigenes Leben, damit er dich retten kann. Aber das macht ihm nichts aus, denn er wird alles für dich tun, auch wenn du dich ekelst. Weil er ein Hund ist und weiß, wie man LIEBT!

Wir waren an einem Sonntag zum Mädels Frühstück im Fischers verabredet und hatten einen Tisch in der schönen Winterlounge mit Kaminfeuer reserviert. Das Frühstück war hochpreisig, aber sehr schön angerichtet und wirklich was besonderes. Ofenfrische Brezeln mit Guacamole oder Joghurt mit Früchten, Beeren und Honig - alles sehr lecker und auf schönem Geschirr serviert. Die Details stimmen und die Lage am See ist grandios. Es gibt den großen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Lokal, leider ist der auch 24/7 kostenpflichtig und das nicht zu knapp (3Stunden kosten 4€).

Great beach bar with direct access to the motorway. A break in this beautiful place is highly recommended. Excellent currywurst, delicious goulash soup. We will stop at this place on every trip to Munich in the future.

Wir gehen hier sehr gerne zum Essen. Zuvor reservieren wir online, das geht einfach über die Homepage und man bekommt dann sicher einen Platz. Das Fischers ist immer sehr gut besucht. Hier stimmt einfach alles! Das Ambiente direkt am Ammersee ist herrlich, das Essen und die Getränke sind super! Der Service ist superfreundlich! Alles in allem ein Garant für ein exquisites Erlebnis! Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Stegen used to be a place where people left on the steamer and then went to the beer garden. Thanks to this location, Stegen has now degenerated into a snob mile. Nobody needs it at Ammersee. Go to Schreyegg. At least you still sit on beer benches, the food is much better and you don't have the Munich wannabe scene crowd around you. Do humanity a favor and stay in the English Garden.

On Saturday we went to the beach bar after a bike ride around the lake and treated ourselves to a currywurst. After we saw the prices we were amazed at first 😉 For that price you get a medium-sized currywurst with fries and you can help yourself to ketchup and/or mayonnaise. After I tried the first piece it was lukewarm, I then gave it back and the nice staff took care of it immediately and even put extra sausage on it - great service!!! Thank you very much 🤩 That's why 4 stars 👍

Wir waren am 14.8. im Restaurant mit Freunden und Familie und hatten den Tisch ca 4 Wochen vorher reserviert. Wir bekamen nicht den versprochenen Tisch am Wasser, auch nicht den Tisch im Schatten der für unsere Gruppe geeignet gewesen wäre, sondern einen Tisch in der Sonne. Wespen waren an allen Tischen in der Umgebung! Wir waren anscheinend nicht wichtig genug, alte Leute auf einer Fahrrad Tour. Das Essen war gut. Der Service auch ganz gut, aber die Behandlung durch den Restaurant Leiter unterirdisch. Ich denke wir werden uns wohl auf ein anderes Restaurant mit unseren Fahrrad Touren einstellen.

Herrliches Plätzchen am Ammersee, wir saßen auf der schönen Terrasse , haben sehr gut gegessen und getrunken, wurden sehr aufmerksam bedient und auch unser Hund wurde nicht vergessen. Sehr schöner Abend, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super Lage. Wir haben dort gefrühstückt. Wir haben Haferflocken mit Mandeln & Früchten bestellt. Wartezeit 45 Minuten, in der Zwischenzeit war kein Personal zu erkennen. Es war unmöglich, noch eine Tasse Kaffee zu bekommen. Die Portion der Haferflocken war sehr übersichtlich, gerade mal zwei Löffel Haferflocken und 4 Himbeeren & rote Beeren. Die roten Beeren waren verschimmelt. Nachdem ich dies gemeldet habe, wollte er sich in der Küche erkundigen. Nichts mehr von ihm gehört und keine Entschuldigung. Zu Hause angekommen, haben wir erst einmal gefrühstückt, weil wir noch sehr hungrig waren. Schöne Lage, aber das war's auch schon.

Very chilled beach bar right on the lake. Very nice staff. It would be even nicer here with a lot more parasols. I also find the way to the quiet place awkward - into the restaurant and past the restaurant guests and waitresses. This is also unpleasant for beach bar guests who are not great on foot.

Haben für einen Geburtstagslunch einen wunderbaren Tisch mit Blick auf den See bekommen. Essen und Getränke waren wunderbar und Charlotte bediente uns sehr herzlich. Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen konnten wir leider nur die kleinen Vorspeisen und einen Salat genießen. Wir kommen wieder und testen die restliche Speisekarte. Den Hunden wurde zudem sofort Wasser bereitgestellt. Ich empfand das Personal als aufmerksam und freundlich.

The review refers to the beach bar, not the restaurant! Located directly on the lake with typical beach flair (piled sand with loungers, parasols and palm trees. Near the A96, this bar has a certain "in" character for many day trippers, which is also reflected in the prices. Unfortunately, the location itself is a bit out of date Years have passed - the paint is peeling off extensively everywhere (see pictures). We had to organize a cloth because the table was so stuck that we didn't want to put anything on it. Conclusion: great location, good selection of drinks. Can be done, does not have to be.

Wonderful place, some with wonderful views of the lake, friendly staff, good background music. Everything was very well maintained and laid out very nicely and contemporary. Delicious currywurst with French fries for €10.50. Good cappuccino and very good ice cream from the ice cream factory next door, which is part of the company, so that the ice cream can also be consumed in the beach bar. A mosquito spray should definitely be applied after the flood at the beginning of June! The food distribution closes at 7:30 p.m. and the bar at 9 p.m. every day.

Very friendly staff, great view of the lake and Zugspitze. It tends to be overcrowded on weekends, so visit early. Usual prices for excursion destinations.

In the beer garden there are various opportunities to sit and lie down. Prices are ok for the location.

Wir hatten für ein schönes Frühstück reserviert. Warten am Eingang 10 Minuten und am Tisch weitere 15 Minuten ohne Bedienung. Und wenn wir nicht gegangen wären (30 Minuten mit Nix) würden wir jetzt noch warten…

Update: Four years after this review, I was legally asked via Google by the beer garden operator to prove that I was actually there. It's just stupid that I didn't keep the receipt or take a photo with the date/time stamp of the kiosk. So Google will probably remove this review soon. The operator is recommended to score points with quality and service instead of complaining about unpleasant reviews. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -- Original text: Rip-off: Ordered a cup of Cafe Crema for 3.10, got a small cup of filter coffee. It was almost cold too. Still had to pay 3.10, even though there was also a mug for the same price. That was the first and last time I was here.

Das Reisgericht mit Shitakepilzen war süßer als man es bei einem Dessert noch akzeptiert hätte, die Fischsuppe schmeckte nur nach Kokos. Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache. Einzig die Getränke waren wirklich gut. Preislich viel zu hoch für das kulinarische Niveau.

Leider konnten wir das Essen nicht ausprobieren, denn der Kellner lehnte uns ab wegen eines kleinen Begleithundes. Angeblich wegen der Gefahr von Allergien.
