Nice location, nice restaurant. Service is a bit shabby and impersonal, even if you come often. Prices are no longer justifiable and rise every other month. Too bad.. Greed?

Beautiful restaurant with elegant and very cozy decoration. The food was delicious, we tried two of the vegetarian dishes and they were really delicious, highlighting the dessert, the coulant was incredibly good. We will return without a doubt.

Lake Ammersee is always worth a trip. It becomes particularly valuable when you stop at the Fischer Restaurant. The winter lounge is a lovingly designed guest room. The selection of dishes on the menu is consistent. The Provencal fish soup is recommended. Wonderfully spicy. Served as an appetizer, there is room in your stomach for a little more. Vegetarian today: Homemade quiche with wild mushrooms and eggplant rolls with curry coconut DAL. The drinks menu rounds off the enjoyment package. The service deserves special praise. Especially those people who do their work with humor and calmness. Grade 1!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is exceptionally beautiful, the service is very friendly and attentive. The food couldn't quite keep up with the high standard

The visit started a bit chaotic as we were overlooked by the waitress for 15 minutes, the lady apologized several times and that was the only negative thing. The coffee and cake were excellent, the atmosphere is modern, the music is subtle. If you're interested, American Express credit cards are not accepted, which is unfortunate in this price range. Otherwise we can recommend a visit.

It's reasonably chic and the coffee is average at best. The portions are small to very small but the taste is okay. I think 3 stars are good because you can do it sometimes but it's not worth it now.

Unfortunately, the young man with glasses on Monday wasn't exactly polite. My daughter wanted to eat ice cream and it could have been that this could be in the restaurant... After the second attempt, I was able to delight my daughter with cake and luckily another employee who was very nice served us. For two warm drinks and two pieces of cake for €20 the staff should be nice, that can't be a problem actually...

One of the best restaurants around here. Great location with lake views. The waitresses are always very friendly and accommodating. Opposite you can buy delicious ice cream and other accessories.

Favorite place. For example, a cold winter day can be spent full of pleasure by the fireplace. Mega location, delicious cocktails and food as well as desserts with delicious chai tea really leave nothing to be desired. Thanks to the great crew, we like to come back again and again.

We love coming to eat in the rustic winter garden in winter. Very nice atmosphere by the fireplace, especially when it's snowing outside. The staff was very friendly and attentive. As always, we had an excellent meal. The prices are high, but the price-performance ratio is right.

Solid restaurant with a nice location The upscale restaurant scores with its location directly on the lake and offers a relaxed atmosphere for various occasions. The all-day opening is practical and the menu impresses with a balanced selection that has something to suit different tastes. Particularly worth mentioning is the large selection of wines, which go well with the dishes. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Overall, a recommendable address for a pleasant visit to a restaurant in beautiful surroundings.

All in all, Fischer is always worth a visit. The service is attentive and friendly, the ambience is inviting and timeless. The dishes are consistently and always a culinary delight. The price/performance ratio can generally be assessed as “worthy of optimization”. Sometimes the portions are not really adequate for the price charged.

The fireplace room in the Fischer Restaurant is a really beautiful place on Lake Ammersee. The prices are high, but reasonable considering the location (on the edge of Munich and right on the lake). The dishes are fresh and cleverly prepared. The service is quick and friendly. All in all, highly recommended and definitely worth the money.

Besser geht‘s nicht! Hervorragendes Essen, exzellenter Service, was will man mehr ? Jederzeit wieder, auch zum Frühstücken.

Immer einen Besuch wert. Vor allem die Winterlounge mit dem Kamin ist sehr angenehm.

Der Fischer am See ist ein echtes Bad für die Seele, zu jeder Jahreszeit. Die Lage ist sensationell schön, der Service supergut, das Essen wirklich fein. Wir waren heuer bestimmt schon das zehnte Mal dort und wurden nie enttäuscht, auch wenn uns der Gewitterregen unter das Dach getrieben hat. Die Winterlounge ist wie immer die schönste Berghütte nördlich von Garmisch. Aber, aber, aber: Wieso habt ihr den wie immer sensationell gut schmeckenden Salat mit Tandoori-Huhn plötzlich um mehr als 20 Prozent erhöht von 19 Euro auf 23 Euro? Die Inflation hat eigentlich nachgelassen, genauso wie die Energiekosten? Auch sonst wurde an der Preisschraube gedreht, der neue Weißwein durchbricht die 10-Euro-Schallmauer für 0,2. Jungs, das habt ihr doch nicht nötig. Qualität kostet Geld - damit sind wir einverstanden. Aber gleich so draufzulegen... Gelbe Karte!

Besuch mittag in der Lounge.. Ssehr freundlicher und ausreichend schneller Service, Burger lecker und Patty nicht durchgebraten, nur die Pommes nicht so toll. Leckeres Dessert, sehr guter Cappucino.

Tolles Essen, tolles Ambiente und sensationeller Service. Wir kommen natürlich wieder.

It is next to the lake and has a very nice location. They are hard-working, very friendly, and polite enough to put up with our beginner level of German and to help us by providing support in English from time to time. Food is above average. We tried a mixed seafood dish with sauce, it was cooked well and the products were fresh, but they should try some more on fisch & chips :) The negative part is that the toilets were in bad condition when we went, unfortunately, this should not be the case in such a nice place. We recommend you make a reservation.

The place is really nice and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. We had breakfast and it is absolutely affordable and enough to start the day well. I particularly liked the service. Top address for a restaurant visit. We were very lucky and got a table without a reservation. The team is very nice and professional. A must for a stop.

Best restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend the Sunrise Deluxe Breakfast for 2, also with (non-alcoholic) Prosecco. Home-baked bread and hand-picked ham, cheese and matching mustard, the salmon, the scrambled eggs and the small fruit salad are also a poem, not to mention the Prosecco, which I couldn't find in retail and online stores despite a lot of searching. Then take a walk by the lake and into the first-class ice cream factory opposite. I always look forward to that, especially back home :)

We were there on October 28th. first in the beer garden in the beautiful autumn weather and then for dinner in the restaurant. The food and service were really top!!!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend! Das Essen und der Service bei Jonas waren hervorragend! Wir waren etwas verspätet und konnten telefonisch aber niemanden erreichen, um Bescheid zu geben. Hat aber trotzdem alles bestens geklappt. Die Geburtstagsüberraschung- Dessert für Geburtstagskind mit Wunderkerze aufs Haus - war eine großartige Idee und hat das Geburtstagskind sehr gefreut! Nicely furnished restaurant right on the lake - unfortunately the weather was bad - the restaurant can't help it. Service attentive and friendly; Food selection very reasonable - not a huge menu [I'm always skeptical of too extensive menus], but still more than enough to find something; Quality according to the menu - everything fresh and very well prepared. Recommendation for a trip to Lake Ammersee for a nice meal!

We stopped here for afternoon coffee on our bike tour around Lake Ammersee. In short: everything was great. Service, friendliness and the snack (bee sting, amaretto cake and cappuccino) were perfect 👌
