Sensational ambience, good food, a real place to relax - now one of my favorite restaurants

Very nice restaurant with a great ambience. Reservations are strongly recommended. Otherwise it may be difficult to get a table spontaneously. The food is beautifully prepared and of really good quality! We'd love to come back!

More breakfast is not possible... It's a shame... BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE... but a breakfast "BEAUTIFUL MORNING" for 15.50 EUR with two slices of baguette salami and simple cooked ham (with a nice 1 cm fat edge ), a small piece of butter, two pieces of camembert (one of which was just the white edge of the cheese), a very small glass of juice and 8 grapes on a stem. Plus a very small children's roll and two slices of bread is simply too minimalistic for the price. The worst price-performance ratio I've ever experienced. I felt really ripped off today.

The kiosk on the Amper is a very special place to relax. An atmosphere of conviviality and 100% thirst quenching. In my opinion, anyone who gets involved will definitely be included in the group. Mario is a relaxed and funny boss. The beer garden is perfect. The tables are placed in a relaxed manner.

This is just a wonderful place. Every meal I ordered during my visits was delicious, service was always very friendly and the ambience right on the lake with great decoration and flair was simply great. I always enjoy coming back.

I come here often because the atmosphere and the location are nice. However, the cuisine is not consistent. Sometimes the food tastes great, sometimes not at all. The prices are far too high and not justified. You pay €26 for a burger with fries, as well as a salad. The burger didn't taste like anything, but the salad was excellent. It's a gamble every time. This time the service wasn't friendly either.

We ate very well here and the service was very, very attentive. A real experience on the terrace with a view of the lake and the shipping.

I just walked past it, looks like a very good restaurant. But!!! I lost my wallet and the restaurant team handed it over to the police where I could pick it up. Definitely 5 stars for this kind human gesture and the quick response, I'm sure that's also reflected in the service :)

Everything is perfect here, great ambience by the lake, outstanding service and great food! Even if the prices are rather high compared to the plate size, the quality is top!! We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic as a beach bar with a great outdoor area right on the lake. We used the outside area. Our small hunger was satisfied with a Swiss sausage salad and a bratwurst. Aperol with it, sun - great. Aperol mixed well, the sausage salad was very good for a Stransbar and there was a large portion for €10.50. But the bratwurst €5 - see picture - a real shame for Bavaria. It was a currywurst and tasted slightly like curry and was spicy even without the mustard. That doesn't work at all. That's why food only 3 stars The other guests' food looked very good. The sanitary area was spotlessly clean. First class given the rush of guests. In both men and women. But we will definitely come to Ammersee again.

No sufficient parking spaces, fees are not covered. Not particularly friendly. Very expensive, little choice. There are even more nice places with friendlier tenants etc.

Hello, we once again spontaneously went to “our” Ammersee restaurant for lunch and, as always, we were very satisfied and can highly recommend it.

The whole place was empty and we were still directed to a very secluded table because we just wanted a drink at 5:10 p.m. When we asked about one of the free places with a lake view, we were told that they were reserved for 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. (As I said, it was 5:10 p.m.) We were out again at 5:35 p.m. and at 6:20 p.m There was still no one sitting in the places mentioned. Our table was like a siding right at the waiter's station. Even though we were only sitting at this place because we just wanted something to drink, people tried to talk us into eating food?? Waiting times and prices are unreasonable.

Particularly noteworthy, in addition to the really delicious food, was the service staff, such friendly service is a rarity these days. Big praise for that.

Essen war sehr lecker. Unser Wunsch direkt am See zu sitzen wurde auch berücksichtigt. Leider wurde nun schon zum zweiten Mal nicht beachtet, dass wir für einen Geburtstag reserviert hatten.

Er war einfach nur super. Natürlich hatten wir auch Glück mit dem Wetter, aber einen Tisch in erster Reihe mit Blick auf den See und die Dampfer - einfach traumhaft. Und das Essen war vorzüglich und die Bedienung perfekt. Sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen wieder.

Abbiamo ordinato delle pietanze vegane, gli antipasti erano ottimi e l‘hamburger vegano era molto buono. Purtroppo al calar della sera sono arrivati stormi di zanzare che hanno decisamente rovinato la seconda parte della cena. Ce ne siamo andati al più presto. Non ci era stata data la possibilità di avere un tavolo all’interno, come avevo prenotato e come ho chiesto al nostro arrivo, il maitre ci ha detto che,se non piove, i clienti vengono fatti accomodare in terrazza.

Wir haben draußen gesessen in einem schattigen Plätzchen, da die Sonne doch recht stark schien. Es war recht voll (früher Sonntag Nachmittag), aber trotz familiärer Atmosphäre war es angenehm und nicht störend. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber es ist für jeden etwas zu finden. Präsentation und Zutaten ist gut. Natürlich sind wir hier nicht in der untersten Preisklasse, aber das wird den Besuchern ja klar sein.

What can you say? If you like exceptionally good food in a great ambience combined with a direct location on Lake Ammersee, you simply have to come here. Anyone who has been here once will always come back! Best place to be @Ammersee!

Unfortunately they forgot to cancel us. We have planned a company outing with a boat trip on the Ammersee followed by a meal at your place. Now they were filming for Understand It and the restaurant was unfortunately closed. When we asked at the ice cream factory opposite, we were told that everyone had been canceled by email. When I made the reservation, they didn't ask for my email at all, just my phone number. But we definitely didn't receive any rejections about this. Now we had to go to the restaurant next door, which unfortunately didn't suit our taste. Long story short, we thought it was a shame that we didn't even get a rejection. Therefore just a 🌟.

Traumhafte Location. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Service war optimal. Essensreste lagen zwischen den Holzdielen. Schattenplatz angefragt und Halbschatten bekommen, ggü im Schatten war noch frei. Biergarten sehr schön. Ich komme nochmal wieder.

-Brotkorb für zwei Personen war viel zu wenig (zwei Semmeln, 5 kleine Scheiben Vollkornbrot) -In der Kaffeemilch war ein Kleingetier -Die Getränke waren nicht frisch gemacht -

Der gemischte Salat mit Tandoori Hühnchen war ok, aber nichts besonderes . Zu viel Dressing. Salat war unten matschig. Der Papadam dadurch aufgeweicht. Das Holunder Schorle viel zu dünn im Geschmack, das Mischungsverhältnis war nicht harmonisch. Viel zu wenig Sirup und zu viel Wasser. Die Bowl mit Lachs war vom preis-Leistungsverhältnis für 28 € absolut unterirdisch ! Es war eine Vorspeisen Portionsgrösse und kein Hauptgericht dass diesen Preis rechtfertigt. Ein Stück Zitrone auf dem Fisch zum verfeinern- mit den Fingern ausdrücken ? Der Service war freundlich und wird die Kritik an die Küche weitergeben. Und was hat der Gast davon ? Es wäre bei so viel berechtigter Kritik klug gewesen sich als Gastgeber erkenntlich zu zeigen- ein Likör etc. aufs Haus o.ä. Aber ich habe dort nicht glücklich gespeist.

The three of us had breakfast at Fischer yesterday. There are breakfast menus for 2 - we asked if we could also have it for 3, that wasn't a problem. A breakfast platter came that only contained 3 mango shots, the rest was for 2 people. When asked if it was really meant for 3 people, the waiter said "yes of course". The price was actually calculated for 3 (around 75 euros just for the food) - the photo clearly shows that a lot of money was made here. It was a real disgrace. As nice as the ambience is there, I won't be eating there again any time soon.

Also ich muss schon sagen, es war fantastisch .. Essen lecker, Wein ( aus Utting weil der Federspiel aus war ) super lecker… Hatten Hochzeitstag und machen das zum festen Tag - ab sofort !

Ein sehr entspannter Vormittag war das und wir waren bis auf den etwas kalten Latte Macchiato sehr zufrieden.

A great restaurant, the Lillet Wildberry perfect, the food, the wine, all highly recommended!

Price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The vegetable couscous is a slightly larger appetizer portion and you have to look for the mini vegetable pieces. There are just a few squirts of the lime-mint yogurt. I was expecting a nice portion with a lot of vegetables for this dish (which consists of fairly inexpensive ingredients). Collecting 24 euros is cheeky.

A really nice atmosphere with very nice staff and good wines. The food, however, was not memorable. Great quality prawns as a starter, but unfortunately bland. The Caesar's salad was so dry that dressing had to be ordered (which came promptly) and the chicken was also dusty and that for 23 euros. For the other main course, the jacone mussel was not fried enough (glassy in the middle please and not the entire mussel), the pulpo was very good, but the obviously thawed bread smeared in lumps with raw garlic didn't work at all. We will eat somewhere else next time at Ammersee.

Der Service war zuvorkommend und ausreichend professionell. Das Essen war mittelmäßig bis schlecht. Mein Mann erhielt einen nicht frischen Kabeljau - ist doch wohl machbar, wenn man sich "Fischer am See" nennt. Er hat sein Gericht zurückgehen lassen. Der Seeteufel hatte eine seltsame Konsistenz... auch da: frisch ist anders. Beef and Bacon Burger war in Ordnung, das Carpaccio vom Allgäuer Weiderind ebenfalls.

Really worth a visit. Don't forget to make a reservation, it's not so full for no reason.

Ein Ausflug zu FISCHER nach Stegen ist immer eine Reise wert! Wir kommen wirklich gerne hierher, das Essen ist fein, der Service vorbildlich - und der Aufenthalt direkt vor dem Ammersee eine Schau. Das digitale Reservierungssytem bot leider keine Buchung für 5 Personen. Die Portionen könnten etwas größer sein, auch wenn man schon mit einem Nachtisch liebäugelt....

Wir waren hier zum Frühstücken mit meinen Eltern und ich bin sehr begeistert. Der Service war super, das Ambiente ist wirklich wunderschön. Der Tisch war süß dekoriert und das Essen lecker. Es gibt vegane und glutenfreie Alternativen, alles wurde gleichzeitig serviert, was ich sehr gut fand. Ist ja nicht überall so. Alles war frisch und ich fand auch die Menge absolut ausreichend. Ich hätte mir im Brotkorb noch eine Vollkornsemmel gewünscht, aber bei drei Sorten Vollkornbrot ist das auch nicht unbedingt nötig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir hatten bei der Reservierung "Geburtstag" angegeben. Im lerzten Jahr wurde noch gratuliert und es gab den halbflüssigen Schokokuchen als Geschenk :) leider diesmal nichts von allem. Gratulation hätte auch schon ausgereicht. Dennoch war es ein schöner Abend mit tollem Essen und super Service.

The FISCHER in Stegen is my absolute favorite restaurant. There you can immerse yourself in a short vacation with a wonderful view of Lake Ammersee with its ships, boats, ducks and geese as well as the Alpine peaks that are always covered in snow. You will be welcomed by first-class, informed service staff and well looked after until you say goodbye. The food and drinks are always top (quality, decoration, temperature…). Please make sure to reserve in advance and remember to bring your parking ticket.

Wir sind eigentlich enttäuscht. Das Angebot des Essens ist auch ok aber nichts besonders, aber für die Preis ist ein bisschen übertrieben. Das Lokal fand ich schön. Also passt…

Four of us had dinner on May 30, 2024. Higher price range, but justified. Ask for Stella, she was a very friendly, attentive and courteous waitress and joined in on our jokes.

Ich mag das Restaurant wegen seines tollen Ortes direkt am See und seiner entspannten Atmosphäre und der kreativen Küche. Aber wie überall haben auch hier die Preise angezogen und die Portionen sind kleiner geworden. Der Service war aufmerksam aber nicht routiniert. Die Speisenauswahl war gut aber kein Hauptgericht unter 24 €, darunter ein kleines Nudelgerichte mit Fisch oder Spinatknödel, die meisten Hauptgerichte lagen über 34 €. Die provencalische Fischsuppe war lecker aber es war genau ein kleines Stück Fisch, eine Garnele und eine Muschel als Einlage darin. Das ist kein Hauptgericht für 27 €. Das einfache Spargelgericht mit 4 Stangen , 4 halben Kartoffeln und Hollandaise war ebenfalls lecker aber nicht sättigend. Der Beilagensalat war frisch und mit gutem Dressing aber mit 9 € zu teuer. Die Dessertkarte war verlockend aber auch die Desserts zwischen 9 und 11 € . Die geeiste Mandeltarte war ein kleines aber leckeres Häppchen, wir haben uns mit dem leckeren Eis begnügt. Leider sind nicht alle satt vom Tisch aufgestanden.

Die Servicemitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Ein wirklich sehr schönes und empfehlenswertes Restaurant!

Excessive prices not very family friendly

Had lunch here for our registry office with 10 people. Service was super nice and the food was of top quality - priced at the “Munich level”, but still reasonable. We had the best seats reserved upon request. The view on the terrace is of course fantastic with a hairdryer. What more do you want :)

Das erste Mal dort und rundum zufrieden. Kommen bald wieder.

First the positive: Service and ambience are unbeatable! However, the breakfast for 2 people for around 50 euros left us speechless. On the plate there were just 3 slices of salmon, 1 slice of cheese (already dried and cut diagonally to make 2 pieces), 1 slice of Camenbert (also divided in the middle), 5 slices of salami, 2 slices of ham The bowl of jam had a bulge on the inside. So it looked visually more than was actually there. The same with the Nutella bowl. A small bowl of fruit. A scoop of cream cheese and some scrambled eggs. I think that was it. There were also small rolls (no idea whether an additional roll would have cost extra). For 50 euros, the value for money is absolutely not right here. The waitress also mentioned it. She just said that the chef had calculated it exactly (Well. Of course you can calculate 500% profit...) As I said, the ambience and service were really great. But we absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant due to the price range.

Great location on the water, very tastefully designed. Nice staff and super tasty salad, fresh bread and spreads. The price is a little higher - but you have to treat yourself every now and then.

A beautiful beer garden with a wonderful view

The view of Lake Ammersee is magnificent. The selection of food was very small, portions ok, taste very good, price expensive. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good, we were only asked once from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. if we wanted something more to drink. Suddenly it became dark while we were eating and they must have turned on the “evening lights” in the restaurant. It used to be really nice, but unfortunately it has worn off.
