Great location - Almütten style - right on the lake... Many events offered Can only be recommended... 👍🏻😎

We love coming to eat in the rustic winter garden in winter. Very nice atmosphere by the fireplace, especially when it's snowing outside. The staff was very friendly and attentive. As always, we had an excellent meal. The prices are high, but the price-performance ratio is right.

Very pleasant restaurant with a great ambience, an imaginative menu with vegan options and friendly and courteous service.

Solid restaurant with a nice location The upscale restaurant scores with its location directly on the lake and offers a relaxed atmosphere for various occasions. The all-day opening is practical and the menu impresses with a balanced selection that has something to suit different tastes. Particularly worth mentioning is the large selection of wines, which go well with the dishes. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Overall, a recommendable address for a pleasant visit to a restaurant in beautiful surroundings.

All in all, Fischer is always worth a visit. The service is attentive and friendly, the ambience is inviting and timeless. The dishes are consistently and always a culinary delight. The price/performance ratio can generally be assessed as “worthy of optimization”. Sometimes the portions are not really adequate for the price charged.

Nice restaurant. Location of course perfect. Breakfast was quite good. Price is pretty decent for a little on the record. Plate about 48€ Veggie plate about 15€ Overall, nice location and would love to come back! :)

The fireplace room in the Fischer Restaurant is a really beautiful place on Lake Ammersee. The prices are high, but reasonable considering the location (on the edge of Munich and right on the lake). The dishes are fresh and cleverly prepared. The service is quick and friendly. All in all, highly recommended and definitely worth the money.

Besser geht‘s nicht! Hervorragendes Essen, exzellenter Service, was will man mehr ? Jederzeit wieder, auch zum Frühstücken.

Der Fischer am See ist ein echtes Bad für die Seele, zu jeder Jahreszeit. Die Lage ist sensationell schön, der Service supergut, das Essen wirklich fein. Wir waren heuer bestimmt schon das zehnte Mal dort und wurden nie enttäuscht, auch wenn uns der Gewitterregen unter das Dach getrieben hat. Die Winterlounge ist wie immer die schönste Berghütte nördlich von Garmisch. Aber, aber, aber: Wieso habt ihr den wie immer sensationell gut schmeckenden Salat mit Tandoori-Huhn plötzlich um mehr als 20 Prozent erhöht von 19 Euro auf 23 Euro? Die Inflation hat eigentlich nachgelassen, genauso wie die Energiekosten? Auch sonst wurde an der Preisschraube gedreht, der neue Weißwein durchbricht die 10-Euro-Schallmauer für 0,2. Jungs, das habt ihr doch nicht nötig. Qualität kostet Geld - damit sind wir einverstanden. Aber gleich so draufzulegen... Gelbe Karte!

Immer einen Besuch wert. Vor allem die Winterlounge mit dem Kamin ist sehr angenehm.

Es war wie immer: Gemütlich und lecker. Wir lieben es.

Besuch mittag in der Lounge.. Ssehr freundlicher und ausreichend schneller Service, Burger lecker und Patty nicht durchgebraten, nur die Pommes nicht so toll. Leckeres Dessert, sehr guter Cappucino.

It is next to the lake and has a very nice location. They are hard-working, very friendly, and polite enough to put up with our beginner level of German and to help us by providing support in English from time to time. Food is above average. We tried a mixed seafood dish with sauce, it was cooked well and the products were fresh, but they should try some more on fisch & chips :) The negative part is that the toilets were in bad condition when we went, unfortunately, this should not be the case in such a nice place. We recommend you make a reservation.

Enjoyment including top service is very important here.

The place is really nice and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. We had breakfast and it is absolutely affordable and enough to start the day well. I particularly liked the service. I think this is by far one of the most important plus points. We will definitely come back when hopefully there is less fog and we can enjoy the beautiful view. Thank you dear Fischer team ❤️

Top address for a restaurant visit. We were very lucky and got a table without a reservation. The team is very nice and professional. A must for a stop.

Best restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend the Sunrise Deluxe Breakfast for 2, also with (non-alcoholic) Prosecco. Home-baked bread and hand-picked ham, cheese and matching mustard, the salmon, the scrambled eggs and the small fruit salad are also a poem, not to mention the Prosecco, which I couldn't find in retail and online stores despite a lot of searching. Then take a walk by the lake and into the first-class ice cream factory opposite. I always look forward to that, especially back home :)

We were there on October 28th. first in the beer garden in the beautiful autumn weather and then for dinner in the restaurant. The food and service were really top!!!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend! Das Essen und der Service bei Jonas waren hervorragend! Wir waren etwas verspätet und konnten telefonisch aber niemanden erreichen, um Bescheid zu geben. Hat aber trotzdem alles bestens geklappt. Die Geburtstagsüberraschung- Dessert für Geburtstagskind mit Wunderkerze aufs Haus - war eine großartige Idee und hat das Geburtstagskind sehr gefreut! Vielen Dank!

Nicely furnished restaurant right on the lake - unfortunately the weather was bad - the restaurant can't help it. Service attentive and friendly; Food selection very reasonable - not a huge menu [I'm always skeptical of too extensive menus], but still more than enough to find something; Quality according to the menu - everything fresh and very well prepared. Recommendation for a trip to Lake Ammersee for a nice meal!

We stopped here for afternoon coffee on our bike tour around Lake Ammersee. In short: everything was great. Service, friendliness and the snack (bee sting, amaretto cake and cappuccino) were perfect 👌

Die Portionen werden immer kleiner (Frühstück) und der Preis bleibt gleich. Hier zahlt man nur noch für das Ambiente! Der Service kann da nichts dafür...

The restaurant is very nicely located right on the lake...but the food is way too expensive and everything is extra. I had a steak for €32 without any side dishes, you have to order it separately and that was potato wedges for €7. The food was delicious, but I did say that I didn't cook the meat all the way through, there might still be a little blood, but it was cooked so well that there wasn't a raw spot in it. I could have said something but otherwise I would have to wait again and I had that for a long time before that. Too bad.

A very, very nice place to visit. This time I was just in the beer garden. That was great!!!

The food was very good 👍🏼 The staff seemed very nice and friendly. However, there are a few things that I as a customer think have potential for optimization. 1: There were two of us and I ordered the red curry 🍛 with shrimp 🍤. After half an hour only my friend's dish (lamb) came but not mine. After the nice waitress lady (Charlotte) noticed it, she apologized and tried to correct the mistake immediately. After 15 minutes I finally have my food. As a small compensation I got a free cappuccino. I thought that was nice. But still strange because normally you should eat/get all the dishes at the same time. 2: For dessert 🍨 my friend specifically asked if the hazelnut dessert didn't have so much chocolate in it. The waitress said, no, not that much. When the dessert came (second photo) the surprise was that this desert was 85-90% chocolate. In the end the dessert had so much chocolate in it that she unfortunately didn't enjoy it. It only had hazelnut decoration and unfortunately another misunderstanding with the service. 3: Price-performance ratio was also in my opinion, after the bill 🧾 for €105 for 2x people without starters (only main course and dessert with a drink each and a cappuccino a bit too much).

Due to the fact that reviews are mainly written by daily customers, who in my opinion can only provide a snapshot, I, as a long-time regular customer, have to express my praise to the entire Fischer team. The overall package is just right here, starting with the appealing atmosphere, the most beautiful lakeside terrace in the entire Ammersee, the helpful and always friendly staff, a very attentive, professional service and the constantly changing, delicious dishes (kudos to the kitchen) and an excellent selection of wines. The Fischer Restaurant is unparalleled and, for me, is the first address on Lake Ammersee when it comes to cuisine, a feel-good atmosphere and, last but not least, its outstanding service staff! The food is good, but the soup is too salty, 3.5 stars I don’t like the service, the smile is fake, 1 star Average lake view, by the pier rather than by the quiet lake, 3 stars Dear FISCHER Team. Thank you for feedback. About the soup was very salty, of course we reported this to the service staff at that time... A sincere smile from the heart will definitely be felt by the other person. There a lady who had a great smile and made us happy, but the other gentleman not.. I wish you have a nice day.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food tastes good and is of high quality, but in my opinion the prices are a bit excessive. You should definitely make a reservation, otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat inside. The waiting time for the food was a bit too long for my taste. The curry was quite good for an Asian restaurant, but the portion was manageable.

Good place to eat. It has a terrace with views of the lake. Good quality of products. The price is somewhat high, it is good value for money.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant am Ammersee. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich richtig wohl. Der Ausblick zum Ammersee ist traumhaft und auf der Terrasse sitzt man sehr schön mit Blick zum See. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.

The location is excellent!! Right by the lake(Ammersee) Quite, peaceful and nice decorations. The food was fantastic. Especially the berries sauce. I love it. They made it by themselves and it's not so sweet plus a lot of pieces of berries. Overall I like the lime with the jacket the most..lol..never seen anywhere before in Europe. It's so cute and it represents the restaurant caring to their customers. Prices are a bit high ,but it's reachable. It's HOME MADE, I think it's worth it. If you pass by here, once you have to try it,and I think you will agree with me.🥳😉

We really enjoy eating here. We reserve online beforehand, you can do this simply via the homepage and you are sure to get a place. The Fischers is always very well attended. Everything is just right here! The ambience right on Lake Ammersee is wonderful, the food and drinks are great! The service is super friendly! All in all, a guarantee for an exquisite experience! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We really enjoy being with you! But €22 for a weekly meal (gnocchi) to go is a disgrace! Yes, I know location location location, but that doesn't fit with the rest of the price structure on the menu. We will come back because your team, the atmosphere and the food are great, but that was a real taste.

We were literally brushed off by the male usher...:-((((First he recommended that we drink a cappuccino somewhere else and when we really wanted to go to the terrace, he sat us in an absolutely impossible and bad place. The icing on the cake was What's more, we had to leave there later, even though there were enough free tables for hours. Actually, I should never want to go there again...

Great ambience, food excellent even if the menu is small, but high quality, prices are higher but value for money is right here. Location right on Lake Ammersee is also great. Outside beer garden with typical beer garden food. Can definitely recommend.

Very very tasty food!! Great terrace with a view of the lake and pier. Nice service. There is also a self-service beer garden. Also very tasty. Beer benches, deck chairs and a playground are in the beer garden. Great!!

Das Frühstück war sehr reduziert und lieblos auf dem Teller angerichtet. Außerdem waren die drei bis vier Trauben, die in der Mitte lagen angeschimmelt. Insgesamt keine gute Qualität und sehr wenig für den viel zu hohen Preis. Service war sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend.

I had a Bavarian sausage salad in the beer garden. Unfortunately it was made with far too much oil. Vinegar was missing for that. Too bad...

Were there for brunch. The breakfast portions are a joke. We ordered a breakfast menu for 2 people, consisting of a small bowl of scrambled eggs, a small bowl of fruit salad, 2 slices of salmon, 2 slices of cheese and a bread basket for just under €40!!!! Even for a normal person eating it's not much, but for two people and then charging €40 for it is a mess. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special as the price would suggest.
