Food and service was good, unfortunately "just" was OK; it could have been made a little more pleasant.

It is next to the lake and has a very nice location. They are hard-working, very friendly, and polite enough to put up with our beginner level of German and to help us by providing support in English from time to time. Food is above average. We tried a mixed seafood dish with sauce, it was cooked well and the products were fresh, but they should try some more on fisch & chips :) The negative part is that the toilets were in bad condition when we went, unfortunately, this should not be the case in such a nice place. We recommend you make a reservation.

Enjoyment including top service is very important here.

When making the reservation for my companion, I asked for a ticket without prices. The request was implemented professionally and without comment. Big praise. The food and service was sensational as always.

The place is really nice and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. We had breakfast and it is absolutely affordable and enough to start the day well. I particularly liked the service. I think this is by far one of the most important plus points. We will definitely come back when hopefully there is less fog and we can enjoy the beautiful view. Thank you dear Fischer team ❤️

Top address for a restaurant visit. We were very lucky and got a table without a reservation. The team is very nice and professional. A must for a stop.

Best restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend the Sunrise Deluxe Breakfast for 2, also with (non-alcoholic) Prosecco. Home-baked bread and hand-picked ham, cheese and matching mustard, the salmon, the scrambled eggs and the small fruit salad are also a poem, not to mention the Prosecco, which I couldn't find in retail and online stores despite a lot of searching. Then take a walk by the lake and into the first-class ice cream factory opposite. I always look forward to that, especially back home :)

We were there on October 28th. first in the beer garden in the beautiful autumn weather and then for dinner in the restaurant. The food and service were really top!!!

Nicely furnished restaurant right on the lake - unfortunately the weather was bad - the restaurant can't help it. Service attentive and friendly; Food selection very reasonable - not a huge menu [I'm always skeptical of too extensive menus], but still more than enough to find something; Quality according to the menu - everything fresh and very well prepared. Recommendation for a trip to Lake Ammersee for a nice meal!

We stopped here for afternoon coffee on our bike tour around Lake Ammersee. In short: everything was great. Service, friendliness and the snack (bee sting, amaretto cake and cappuccino) were perfect 👌

The restaurant is very nicely located right on the lake...but the food is way too expensive and everything is extra. I had a steak for €32 without any side dishes, you have to order it separately and that was potato wedges for €7. The food was delicious, but I did say that I didn't cook the meat all the way through, there might still be a little blood, but it was cooked so well that there wasn't a raw spot in it. I could have said something but otherwise I would have to wait again and I had that for a long time before that. Too bad.

A very, very nice place to visit. This time I was just in the beer garden. That was great!!!

The food was very good 👍🏼 The staff seemed very nice and friendly. However, there are a few things that I as a customer think have potential for optimization. 1: There were two of us and I ordered the red curry 🍛 with shrimp 🍤. After half an hour only my friend's dish (lamb) came but not mine. After the nice waitress lady (Charlotte) noticed it, she apologized and tried to correct the mistake immediately. After 15 minutes I finally have my food. As a small compensation I got a free cappuccino. I thought that was nice. But still strange because normally you should eat/get all the dishes at the same time. 2: For dessert 🍨 my friend specifically asked if the hazelnut dessert didn't have so much chocolate in it. The waitress said, no, not that much. When the dessert came (second photo) the surprise was that this desert was 85-90% chocolate. In the end the dessert had so much chocolate in it that she unfortunately didn't enjoy it. It only had hazelnut decoration and unfortunately another misunderstanding with the service. 3: Price-performance ratio was also in my opinion, after the bill 🧾 for €105 for 2x people without starters (only main course and dessert with a drink each and a cappuccino a bit too much).

The food is good, but the soup is too salty, 3.5 stars I don’t like the service, the smile is fake, 1 star Average lake view, by the pier rather than by the quiet lake, 3 stars Dear FISCHER Team. Thank you for feedback. About the soup was very salty, of course we reported this to the service staff at that time... A sincere smile from the heart will definitely be felt by the other person. There a lady who had a great smile and made us happy, but the other gentleman not.. I wish you have a nice day.

Due to the fact that reviews are mainly written by daily customers, who in my opinion can only provide a snapshot, I, as a long-time regular customer, have to express my praise to the entire Fischer team. The overall package is just right here, starting with the appealing atmosphere, the most beautiful lakeside terrace in the entire Ammersee, the helpful and always friendly staff, a very attentive, professional service and the constantly changing, delicious dishes (kudos to the kitchen) and an excellent selection of wines. The Fischer Restaurant is unparalleled and, for me, is the first address on Lake Ammersee when it comes to cuisine, a feel-good atmosphere and, last but not least, its outstanding service staff! Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food tastes good and is of high quality, but in my opinion the prices are a bit excessive. You should definitely make a reservation, otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat inside. The waiting time for the food was a bit too long for my taste. The curry was quite good for an Asian restaurant, but the portion was manageable.

Good place to eat. It has a terrace with views of the lake. Good quality of products. The price is somewhat high, it is good value for money.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant am Ammersee. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich richtig wohl. Der Ausblick zum Ammersee ist traumhaft und auf der Terrasse sitzt man sehr schön mit Blick zum See. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.

The location is excellent!! Right by the lake(Ammersee) Quite, peaceful and nice decorations. The food was fantastic. Especially the berries sauce. I love it. They made it by themselves and it's not so sweet plus a lot of pieces of berries. Overall I like the lime with the jacket the most..lol..never seen anywhere before in Europe. It's so cute and it represents the restaurant caring to their customers. Prices are a bit high ,but it's reachable. It's HOME MADE, I think it's worth it. If you pass by here, once you have to try it,and I think you will agree with me.🥳😉

We really enjoy eating here. We reserve online beforehand, you can do this simply via the homepage and you are sure to get a place. The Fischers is always very well attended. Everything is just right here! The ambience right on Lake Ammersee is wonderful, the food and drinks are great! The service is super friendly! All in all, a guarantee for an exquisite experience! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We really enjoy being with you! But €22 for a weekly meal (gnocchi) to go is a disgrace! Yes, I know location location location, but that doesn't fit with the rest of the price structure on the menu. We will come back because your team, the atmosphere and the food are great, but that was a real taste.

We were literally brushed off by the male usher...:-((((First he recommended that we drink a cappuccino somewhere else and when we really wanted to go to the terrace, he sat us in an absolutely impossible and bad place. The icing on the cake was What's more, we had to leave there later, even though there were enough free tables for hours. Actually, I should never want to go there again...

Great ambience, food excellent even if the menu is small, but high quality, prices are higher but value for money is right here. Location right on Lake Ammersee is also great. Outside beer garden with typical beer garden food. Can definitely recommend.

Das Frühstück war sehr reduziert und lieblos auf dem Teller angerichtet. Außerdem waren die drei bis vier Trauben, die in der Mitte lagen angeschimmelt. Insgesamt keine gute Qualität und sehr wenig für den viel zu hohen Preis. Service war sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend.

I had a Bavarian sausage salad in the beer garden. Unfortunately it was made with far too much oil. Vinegar was missing for that. Too bad...

Were there for brunch. The breakfast portions are a joke. We ordered a breakfast menu for 2 people, consisting of a small bowl of scrambled eggs, a small bowl of fruit salad, 2 slices of salmon, 2 slices of cheese and a bread basket for just under €40!!!! Even for a normal person eating it's not much, but for two people and then charging €40 for it is a mess. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special as the price would suggest.

Es war grundsätzlich prima, der Service super, die Vorspeisen lecker, aber die Fish and Chips waren eine absolute Katastrophe, die dürften nicht einmal die Hälfte kosten...

Da wir nicht zum ersten Mal im Fischer´s waren, beantworten sich manche Fragen von selbst, sonst würden wir nicht von München zum Ammersee fahren. Service top, Ambiente sowieso. Der Weg lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Die Auswahl der Frühstücksangebote scheint auf den ersten Blick etwas spärlich und das einzige Angebot für eine Person auch, aber es ist absolut ausreichend. Inbesondere das frische Brot schmeckt sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder und hoffen, das Wetter erlaubt es uns, auf der Terrasse zu verweilen. Übrigens gibts gegenüber noch leckeres Eis!

Empfehlenswert allerdings passt das Preisleistung.

Wir saßen direkt an der Anlegestelle (super Location). Haben zu Driit 190€ gezahlt, also nicht ganz billig. Preis-Leistung geht aber voll in Ordnung. Unsere Bedienung was super freundlich. Kommen sicher wieder…

Magnifique cadre, service au top, portions très copieuses. Cuisine traditionnelle bien exécutée et très bien présentée. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Petite astuce : vous pouvez vous garer le long du restaurant un peu en amont si le parking général est complet : payant mais très raisonnable.

More breakfast is not possible... It's a shame... BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE... but a breakfast "BEAUTIFUL MORNING" for 15.50 EUR with two slices of baguette salami and simple cooked ham (with a nice 1 cm fat edge ), a small piece of butter, two pieces of camembert (one of which was just the white edge of the cheese), a very small glass of juice and 8 grapes on a stem. Plus a very small children's roll and two slices of bread is simply too minimalistic for the price. The worst price-performance ratio I've ever experienced. I felt really ripped off today.

The kiosk on the Amper is a very special place to relax. An atmosphere of conviviality and 100% thirst quenching. In my opinion, anyone who gets involved will definitely be included in the group. Mario is a relaxed and funny boss. The beer garden is perfect. The tables are placed in a relaxed manner.

I come here often because the atmosphere and the location are nice. However, the cuisine is not consistent. Sometimes the food tastes great, sometimes not at all. The prices are far too high and not justified. You pay €26 for a burger with fries, as well as a salad. The burger didn't taste like anything, but the salad was excellent. It's a gamble every time. This time the service wasn't friendly either.

Wir waren zum Frühstück im Fischer - direkter Tisch am Ammersee, traumhaft für uns unter Bäumen, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Preise allerdings sind unverhältnismäßig hoch. Ein Frühstück für 2 Personen 39 € + hochpreisige Heissgetränke, wir hatten nichts übrig ausser ein wenig Marmelade, waren aber auch zwei Mädchen, mit einem Mann als Begleitung wäre es echt wenig gewesen. Auch den Service würde ich nicht als herausragend bezeichnen, ein Lächeln kam dem immerhin höflichen Kellner nicht über die Lippen. Wir fühlten uns nicht sonderlich willkommen und hatten das Gefühl man wolle auch den Tisch schnell wieder frei bekommen. Trotzdem ein gelungenes Frühstück zu einem Geburtstag, was man ja nicht jeden Tag macht, zu einem einfacheren Treffen mit Freundinnen beispielsweise würde ich aber eher eine andere Location wählen.

Wir waren schon oft bei euch zum frühstücken und Mittagessen. Sehr fein und lecker!!! Leider beim letzten Mal konnten wir uns nicht auf die seeterrasse setzen ( Begleitung ein wenig krank ) . Sonst wie immer überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und höflich bedient worden !!!! Super Personal!!! Das essen ansprechend angerichtet und lecker !!! Lob an die Küche!!! Werde euch leider nicht weiterempfehlen weil ich fürchte ihr seid dann ständig ausgebucht!!!!! Toll dass es euch gibt!!

I just walked past it, looks like a very good restaurant. But!!! I lost my wallet and the restaurant team handed it over to the police where I could pick it up. Definitely 5 stars for this kind human gesture and the quick response, I'm sure that's also reflected in the service :)

Very nice restaurant, great service, excellent cuisine, only the ships' honking is a bit annoying, it's terribly loud.

Fantastic as a beach bar with a great outdoor area right on the lake. We used the outside area. Our small hunger was satisfied with a Swiss sausage salad and a bratwurst. Aperol with it, sun - great. Aperol mixed well, the sausage salad was very good for a Stransbar and there was a large portion for €10.50. But the bratwurst €5 - see picture - a real shame for Bavaria. It was a currywurst and tasted slightly like curry and was spicy even without the mustard. That doesn't work at all. That's why food only 3 stars The other guests' food looked very good. The sanitary area was spotlessly clean. First class given the rush of guests. In both men and women. But we will definitely come to Ammersee again.

No sufficient parking spaces, fees are not covered. Not particularly friendly. Very expensive, little choice. There are even more nice places with friendlier tenants etc.

Hello, we once again spontaneously went to “our” Ammersee restaurant for lunch and, as always, we were very satisfied and can highly recommend it.

The whole place was empty and we were still directed to a very secluded table because we just wanted a drink at 5:10 p.m. When we asked about one of the free places with a lake view, we were told that they were reserved for 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. (As I said, it was 5:10 p.m.) We were out again at 5:35 p.m. and at 6:20 p.m There was still no one sitting in the places mentioned. Our table was like a siding right at the waiter's station. Even though we were only sitting at this place because we just wanted something to drink, people tried to talk us into eating food?? Waiting times and prices are unreasonable.
