We had schnitzel with potato salad, and I mean, that used to be better. The schnitzels were very dry, the potato salad was almost certainly not homemade, and the hunter's sauce that we had specially ordered with it was straight out of a bag. For a non-alcoholic Weizen and a Radler €8.50 is too expensive for a self-service beer garden. It's a shame, because the ambience and the view are great.

‼️ Cutlery costs extra ‼️ You lure people with cheap prices but you get 3-4 € more because cutlery costs extra, namely one euro. This isn't shown on the homepage where people first look and on site it's written in small form at the bottom. You can't order a dish without cutlery, even if you already have a dish and cutlery. When you want a second dish you get cutlery again without you wanting it. This is almost a rip-off Update: I can't confirm what you're saying. After our meal we got another dish and we wanted it without cutlery since we already had some. But we had to take the dish and pay another euro for cutlery.

We went there by bike based on a tip from a local, otherwise we wouldn't have "found" the restaurant. The location with this view is brilliant, nice atmosphere. The self-service concept is perfectly fine for a beer garden, we even like it better. The food selection, quality and value for money were good.

Very nice, family-run beer garden that we always enjoy coming to for dinner! The food is freshly prepared, which understandably takes some time when there is a big rush. A large and delicious selection of homemade snacks/sausages (kudos to the senior & junior chef hunter/butcher) and also a large selection of drinks. The young staff are always friendly, even in the busiest times. Charging 1 euro for an extra plate/cutlery has been common practice everywhere for a few years now, and sometimes even 1.50 to 2 euros are charged. (Except 'robber plates/cutlery' for children)

Went to the beer garden this evening. I had a game salad with strips of beef. However, I would like to know what coleslaw, radishes, cucumber, carrot and lettuce have to do with wild herbs?! If I hadn't been so hungry I would have given it back. The price is not justified. Only 1 star and no recommendation. **************************************************** A nice trip with delicious home-baked cake and delicious beer at the destination. I always look forward to a hike there.

Beautiful beer garden that I've been going to regularly for 40 years, but I think 1 euro for extra cutlery is pretty wrong

Today we are (3 adults, 3 children) been to the Adlitz beer garden again. The fantastic view is the big asset here. The parking lot 300 m away is worth its weight in gold. Self-service across the street is also okay. What's not okay is to charge one euro for an empty plate for the child, given the prices and zero service. (We had a bill of over 70 euros). The statement was that the dishwasher had to wash around 100 more plates in the evening and that had to be paid for. That's a more than impressive hourly wage. For this reason it was the last visit to Ludwigshöhe for us.

Great view - food and drinks are extremely overpriced for the Franconian region. It's outrageous to charge EUR 4.50 for a beer when you pick it up yourself - you don't even pay that in Munich!! The schnitzel - respect to the kitchen - I have never eaten such a thin schnitzel, you first have to manage to flatten the meat so that even the breading sticks to it. The price for self-collection without salad at EUR 13.80 is also an announcement.

The Adlitz beer garden / Gasthaus zur Ludwigshöhe offers a beautiful view. The staff is averagely friendly and the food is acceptable. However, my last visit was marked by an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a large schnitzel with fries and asked for an extra plate so I could share the meal with my 5 year old son. To my surprise, I was charged an extra €1 for this. When I asked, a second employee explained to me that the extra plate would require more work for the dishwasher. Assuming that washing a plate takes 5 seconds, this would correspond to an hourly wage of €720 for the dishwasher - a completely unrealistic and exaggerated calculation, even if you take energy costs, personnel costs, or other things into account. This practice seems like pure profiteering and a rip-off to me. Our family spent around €70 in this beer garden that day, but this incomprehensible additional fee really spoiled the overall impression. I've really never experienced anything like this before. I'm really not stingy, but for me this is a matter of principle. Given this greed for profit given the prices that have already risen in recent years, we will neither visit this beer garden again nor recommend it to others.

Nicely located beer garden but very busy

Very small portion of bratwurst brawn, strung together, the portion doesn't even make a whole bratwurst. The normal portion of brisket is also only cut 5 mm thick. One would expect more for the money he has earned.

A beautiful beer garden with great food and drinks. Drinks nice and fresh and cold and a large selection. The prices are also very moderate. The friendly staff too. For me it is by far the most beautiful beer garden in the large Erlangen area.

Clear warning about this store! Rarely have I experienced such unsympathetic staff. The bosses in particular are so unsympathetic, not only towards their customers but also towards their staff. The way customers and employees are treated these days is truly unbelievable. I really feel sorry for the young people who work there. Some of the food is ready-made and is simply warmed up. Some of it is really okay but most of it is the cheapest ready-made food. Rarely have I been so disappointed with a beer garden. At least the view was pretty nice.

My favorite when hiking in the beer garden! Even if it is of course prepared food, it tastes good and the price is right, there are always a few local game dishes and a lot to choose from. Nevertheless, you have your food 5 minutes after ordering. The great view 😃 the only catch in recent years has sometimes been the wasps that are attracted to the food

For me one of the most beautiful beer gardens in the Erlangen area. The view of the Franconian region from the spacious terrace. The self-service concept is more typical of beer gardens and has also proven successful here. Like almost everywhere, the prices are no longer cheap, but the food is really sumptuous and delicious. The range of drinks is also extensive and the local beers are very tasty. The sanitary facilities have now been renovated, although not of high quality and sometimes not very clean. Conclusion: very good food, great ambience and always a successful end to a bike tour through the Franconian region or a trip with the family...

Beer garden very nicely located. The price is a bit higher (Schäuferle ~18€) and the taste is not a highlight. The toy in the sandbox is totally broken. Sometimes large screws or sharp-edged plastic are sticking out. Just take €100 in your hand and fill it with new toys...

The Adlitzer Biergarten is located in the beautiful Nuremberg area and offers lunch, coffee & cake and dinner. Food: Delicious draft beer and a large selection of warm dishes and snacks. There are also some options for vegetarians and vegans. Price-performance is okay. Everyone will find something here. Service: Self-service, but nice service behind the counter. Our food was ready quickly. Ambiance: The view is an absolute highlight, young and old come together here. Beautiful stop on hikes.

The Adlitzer Biergarten was always my go-to destination with friends and guests when I still lived in Erlangen. The food is delicious 😋, the view is simply outstanding! Unfortunately now only sporadic visitors from the south. I will really miss the food, the view and the rustic cosiness in Spain!

Charging 1 euro for additional cutlery is an outrage, especially when the food is already very expensive. And everything is self-service. Bread was very dried out and not good. Bratwursts have very flaky skin. Two euros instead of one were charged for an additional supplement. For me it's just a rip off. Beer gardening is no fun like that :-(

It's a real shame that the young people aren't able to take the simplest orders and carry them out correctly. It will have been our last visit, as the good food no longer tastes good. The last time we were here was two years ago and we were really impressed. The view and the location are simply perfect and of course nothing has changed. What has gone down, however, is the food. We had bratwursts, a game salad and a roast game. The Franconian-style bratwursts were quite tasty, the game salad was okay, but not fair to the price. But what was a disgrace was the roast venison. The taste was okay, but nothing more and dry and the worst thing, as a guy who is 1.70 m tall, I had to order more meat for €6 so that I had any chance of being full and that with a dish that cost just under €18. I originally wanted a different dish but it was sold out. This was our last visit here.

The view is amazing and you sit in the shade. Food is okay too. However, you have to get it yourself. A lot has been invested, which is clearly noticeable in the shorter waiting times, sanitary facilities, etc.

The view is of course fantastic and the staff are very friendly. We went there to eat Schäufele and were unfortunately extremely disappointed. The sauce ended up being a pepper cream sauce. Very light, creamy and in my eyes, not at all suitable for the Schäufele.

Yesterday we (3 people) went to the beer garden for the first time and as expected, the beer garden was very well attended on May 1st. Of course, you need more time and patience until you get a seat and your food. However, we then had to place our order twice before we received it. Afterwards, the price of over 50 euros for 3 meals seemed very expensive to us and when we did the math during the meal, we naturally noticed that something wasn't right. It turned out we had paid for 4 meals. When we spoke to the same counter worker after our meal, we were given the cold shoulder by the person in charge because there were signs posted here indicating that you wanted to count your change immediately. But it wasn't even about the change but rather the completely wrong bill. It may be that we reacted too slowly, but such behavior has nothing to do with service or customer friendliness. So our advice is to be careful and do the math before you sit down to eat!

Super Aussicht von der Terrasse. Fahre immer gerne dort hin.

Gute Bierauswahl (z.B. Meister, Mahrs), leckeres Essen (auch vegan/vegetarisch) und wenn man einen Platz am Rand bekommt, schöne Aussicht. Leider recht klein und man muss daher an beliebten Tagen manchmal auf einen Platz warten. Selbstbedienung. Schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten für Autofahrer.

Gutes, günstiges Essen, tolle Aussicht, kostenfreie Parkplätze. Essen und Getränke muss man selbst in den Biergarten tragen und sofort bei der Ausgabe zahlen, aber was soll's. 🤷 Wir kommen wieder.

Service war leider nicht wirklich erfüllend und auch etwas überfordert. Das Essen war nichts besonderes aber auch nicht schlecht. Dafür war die Aussicht in die Natur sehr sehr schön.

In diesen Biergarten komme ich schon seit vielen Jahren. Es hat sich ja einiges verändert, aber das gute Essen und der tolle Blick über die Landschaft bleibt.

Einer der schönsten Biergarten die ich kenne. Jeden Dienstag "Bohnakern"

Der Biergarten mit dem Selbstbedienungskonzept, ist sehr schön und teuer angelegt. Die Aussicht in einen gigantischen Garten mit vielen Obstbäumen und Schwänen und Gänsen, sowie einem Teich für die Tiere, war so überwältigend. Dass ich darüber vergessen habe, das Essen zu fotografieren. Wir hatten ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und Bratwürste mit Kartoffelsalat. Die Bratwürste war nicht ganz unser Geschmack, aber das Schnitzel war sehr gut und die Portionen groß. Außerdem gibt es eine sehr große Kuchen Auswahl und die Organisation beim Essen ist perfekt. Ich stelle es mir schwierig vor mit einer größeren Gruppe zu kommen, da man für das Essen anstehen muss und beim bezahlen noch mal, sowie beim Abholen. Kuchen und Getränke gehen auch extra, so dass man Mehrfach laufen muss, um Essen und Trinken an den Tisch zu bringen. Zudem muss man auch noch noch einen freien Tisch suchen. Es ist dort so schön, dass am Sonntag am späten Nachmittag jeder Platz belegt war. Für uns war es das in jedem Fall wert und einen Erlebnis, dass man sehr gerne wiederholt, wenn man mit dem Fahrrad beim nächsten Mal vorbeikommt.

War sehr vom Bienenstich enttäuscht! Vom knusprigen Mandel -Honigbelag nicht die Spur. Trockene Sache mit eine paar einzelnen aufgestreuten Mandeln zum Preis von 4,20...und die Füllung war eine preiswerte Puddingcreme. Eine große Tasse Kaffee 4 Euro. Das ist ganz schön geschmalzen!

Sehr schöne Aussicht, Essen ist extrem gut. Kartoffelsalat war zwar etwas salzig, aber die selbstgemachten Würste waren einfach der Hammer!

Traum Biergarten, tolle Aussicht, tolles Essen. Wie schon mehrfach hier erwähnt Top-Organisation. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Parkplatz-Situation ist nicht so top. Vielleicht sollte da jemand die Leute einordnen. Bei unserem 2. Besuch hätten sicher mehr Autos auf den Parkplatz gepasst, hätte man sauber geparkt.

Dies ist ein Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung in schöner Lage mit guter Aussicht. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze. Sowohl Mittagstisch als auch Kaffee und Kuchen werden angeboten. Unterhalb des Biergartens (am Hang) schnattern Gänse. Das ist Teil des Landlebens und lässt sich aushalten.

Toller Biergarten, leckeres Essen und eine noch schönere Aussicht

Schöner fränkischer Biergarten. Zwar ohne Kies, dafür aber gemütliche Tische und Stühle und eine herrliche Aussicht. Wenn man um 18 Uhr da ist findet man leicht einen Tisch, 19 Uhr ist dann sehr schwierig. Das Schäufele mit Kloß und Sauerkraut ist super.

Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Biergarten (Gasthaus) mit einer hervorragenden Speisekarte. Selbstbedienung im Biergarten. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.

2 EUR für einen leeren Extra-Teller sind frech, vor allem wenn einem das nicht direkt gesagt wird. Die Preise sind auch steil nach oben gegangen.

Ein schöner Biergarten zum Verweilen mit kleinem Kinderspielplatz und herrlichem Blick ins Tal von der Terrasse aus. Die angebotenen Bratwürste und das Bier waren sehr lecker.
