Knüppels Tischlein deck dich in Koserow

After we politely pointed out that our food (we both had the same dish), our plates were taken back and our menus handed to us. Then a second waitress came and told us we had to pay for the food and took our menus away again – they had tasted it in the kitchen and approved it. We didn't want to pay for food we hadn't eaten. They then "waived" the price for a meal and asked us to leave. Now that's what I call hospitality at its finest. I can't recommend it!

We went there without a reservation and luckily got a seat. Very nice ambiance, friendly service, and excellent food. We'll definitely go back, but this time with a reservation.

The best venison goulash, accompanied by a glass of Scheurebe, and I was happy. The lovely ambiance and the extremely friendly and attentive waitress added to the delight!

We were lucky, as most of the tables were reserved. The menu was extensive, featuring homely regional cuisine, including, of course, plenty of fish dishes. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious.

This vacation was our first visit to Tischlein deck dich. It was a Thursday, and we had reserved a table for three. At our time, around 6:30 p.m., that was a good thing, as the small dining room was full. A little later, however, around 7:30 p.m., not all tables were occupied, and you could eat without a reservation. The atmosphere was very cozy. Beautifully decorated, with themed murals and quiet music in the background. Nothing intrusive or overly pretentious. We received very friendly service, and the food was delicious. Good German cuisine, with a manageable menu, which is usually a good sign because the ingredients on the plate are fresh. In the future, a visit to Tischlein deck dich will become a regular part of our vacation.

Today was our first time at this beautiful, small but fine restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant; everything was nice and relaxed and quiet, even though it was very busy. We didn't have a reservation, but we made one for another day after our visit today. We had to wait a bit, but we're on vacation, not on the run, and the ambiance immediately captivated us, so it wasn't a problem. Everyone was really nice, the drinks came promptly, and the dishes, made and presented with love, arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Everything is very clean, the music is very pleasant, even in the restrooms. Everything is lovingly designed and decorated, and the prices are really reasonable. I can't say anything negative, absolutely nothing. Thank you so much, dear team at Tischlein deck dich.

A very nice dining room, a friendly owner, and really good food. The portions in the picture look smaller than they actually were. My gratinated steak was a real smash. The prices are reasonable, and the food is freshly cooked. We'll be back.

As I was driving past I noticed the restaurant when we entered we were surprised it was very well done and decorated with a lot of love the service was very friendly and attentive the food was excellent completely met our taste I can only recommend this restaurant

Very delicious!!!! The four of us ate here today and were extremely satisfied. Starting with the beautiful "old-fashioned" look—everything new, nothing chipped or anything like that—to the table setting, the extremely friendly service, and the excellent food (pictures below: farmer's breakfast, gourmet steak/gratinated turkey steak, Hawaiian redfish fillet, and Strindberg steak). We have nothing to complain about and would eat here again anytime. Overall, 6/5 stars, and it's no wonder you've been around since 1930. Keep it up!!!

The restaurant serves excellent German cuisine. The owner herself serves with a staff member. Everyone is very nice, friendly, courteous, and always attentive. The head chef is the owner himself and knows his craft perfectly.

We were very impressed again. We've eaten here on every previous vacation. Now, after a long time, we've returned, and we weren't disappointed. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. Requesting changes to dishes is no problem. Since we have various allergies, it was no problem to ask for details and make changes to our order. And something that's never happened to us anywhere else: a side dish that we removed from our order (due to an allergy) was deducted from the bill and not charged. We were very pleasantly surprised and are still absolutely thrilled. Highly recommended! Thank you

We visited for dinner with our 5-year-old daughter and can only report positive things. We arrived without a reservation and were seated in the dining room. The service was very attentive and friendly. First highlight: the children's menu is wrapped in real wood and includes the fairy tale "The Table, Set Itself." After choosing the dishes, the wait was so short that there wasn't enough time to read the entire story to our daughter. The food was very good. The portions aren't huge, but they are high-quality and flavorful. Yes, the prices aren't cheap. But the combination of high wages and high-quality ingredients results in the advertised prices, which are, in turn, reasonable.

We went there for dinner today, wanting to try the food to see how it tasted and then make a reservation for a special occasion. I was unfortunately disappointed 😞. The fried potatoes were nothing like good fried potatoes, and the rump steak was okay. So, we wouldn't eat there again. And the service, how can I put it, was just okay. Not what you'd call a pleasant evening.

A very nice restaurant with very good and appreciative service. Due to my stomach problem, I couldn't eat everything on the menu, but that wasn't a problem at all. I received very good advice, and my problem was taken into consideration. Even the still water wasn't served ice cold, which was very good for my stomach. My husband was also very happy with his meal. We both agree: the chef knows his craft! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients; everything is just right. We ate at Knüppels four evenings and would gladly return next year. A highly recommended restaurant.

The food was okay, the portion of cod was a bit small. However, the change in side dishes from rice or croquettes to fried potatoes, which was charged an additional 2x EUR 2.80 (for convenience food?), had a bad aftertaste. We would have liked to have gotten a hint from the waiter beforehand, then we would have forgone the change. By the way: Other restaurants only charge 1 euro for this.

We spontaneously had dinner there with 6 people, including 2 primary school-aged children and a small dog. We were immediately thrilled because we received a very friendly welcome and this friendliness lasted the entire evening. The children received children's cards (which were very nice with a little story inside and a wooden envelope) and we had time to choose and order everything in peace. The service was so attentive that empty glasses were immediately noticed and people asked if they could have something new to drink. The food was excellent and very sufficient. The lovingly detailed design of the guest room was wonderful. We would love to come back and recommend a visit to “Tischlein deck dich”

But the wine spritzer for €6.50 is just terribly expensive, what a shame! Home-style cooking. Very nice and fast service, the restaurant already existed in Eastern times, now of course in a different atmosphere. The food was very tasty, from fish to meat to salad, there was something for everyone. We were there in the evening, so a reservation wouldn't be a bad idea. Everything is priced within a reasonable range

Nice little restaurant with very friendly service. The food is tasty. The description of the dishes suggests a somewhat more upscale cuisine, which unfortunately is not confirmed. Portions are very small, I missed a small salad with it. The Hawaiian fish actually only consisted of breading, pineapple and cheese. If you looked closely, you could find some fish that wasn't even 0.5 cm thick. Unfortunately a bit poor for the price.

Had the gourmet steak and the Hamburger Schnitzel, both were super tender and the dishes were super tasty. I would love to come back again

In my opinion, the food is freshly prepared and tastes very good. The portions are definitely sufficient - considering the price. Everything is attractively presented and the waiting time was short. The children's plate was also beautifully presented and our little one enjoyed it. The ambience is harmonious and the dining room looks inviting. In this context, I would also like to mention the sanitary facilities, which are modern and absolutely clean. People often get sick here somewhere else. In this respect, I can recommend a visit to everyone without any further reservations.

In the early evening we got an outside seat without a reservation, which wasn't a problem given the warm weather. Neatly dressed service ladies take great care of the guest. The food we ordered came to the table quickly and at the right temperature and tasted very tasty. All wishes were fulfilled quickly. Unfortunately I can't comment on the atmosphere because I wasn't in the restaurant. Highly recommended.
