We had a wonderful visit to this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive – we felt welcome from the very first moment. Despite the restaurant being quite full, our food was served surprisingly quickly. A particularly positive aspect is that dogs are explicitly welcome here, which made our visit much easier. The food itself was absolutely unbeatable! The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and superbly prepared. We had pike-perch with potatoes, hollandaise sauce, and cauliflower – a real highlight and simply delicious. The prices were perfectly reasonable, especially considering the quality. It was a shame that we couldn't sit outside due to the bad weather, as the outdoor seating area looked very inviting and cozy. We hope for better weather next time so we can make up for it. With opening hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, this restaurant is an absolute must if you're in the area! We will definitely be back.

Not recommended! Deep-fried schnitzel with an unidentifiable mushroom sauce and not-quick-cooked fries—at €20, that's simply unacceptable. On top of that, they charged €1 for mayo/ketchup they didn't order and another €1 for changing the order from croquettes to fries. Outrageous!

Unfortunately, even one star is too many here. The schnitzel was apparently deep-fried, the fries were soggy and undercooked. The salad consisted of 1/8 of a tomato, one lettuce leaf, and a tiny spoonful of carrot. All in all, I haven't eaten this badly in a long time.

The food was very good. The meat, the side dishes, and the service were all great. If I lived here, I would be a regular! And the price is absolutely reasonable. We went for dinner on Thursday. We had smoked pork and redfish. Both dishes were very greasy, and the redfish was also drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Overall, we were very disappointed.

We had a delicious meal here on vacation and had a very pleasant evening. Unfortunately, as is the case almost everywhere, the prices for simple dishes were quite high, so we only had herring, which was still affordable for the average vacationer at under €20.

Sorry... I was supposed to get a farmer's plate... what was served... a slice of very tough smoked pork and half a fried sausage for 22 euros...!! We stopped here by chance after a lovely day at the beach, without a reservation. The service was extremely friendly and personable. The food was excellent and worth every cent! We both had schnitzel. The hunter's sauce with the schnitzel was delicious, the potatoes were excellent, and the schnitzel was top-notch. The prices were also reasonable and not overpriced like some restaurants on the main street. A visit to the Bernsteinhexe is a must on your next visit to Koserow!

The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was very bad. The schnitzel was pounded flat and fried black. The first schnitzel was cooked halfway through, the second was pounded flat and fried dry, and was already bent. The vegetables were not seasoned and there was no hollandaise sauce. The food was not recommended. The side salad was probably from the day before, and the raw carrots were sour. The food was not recommended. Very poor food for the price.

We spontaneously went there for lunch and got a table without any problems. Overwhelmed by Koserow Baroque and Thuringian Brocken witches, we ordered farmer's plates, fish soup, and schnitzel. The wait was reasonable, and it tasted really good. Despite the spooky decor, it was clean, but the service took some getting used to. It was noon on a Friday night and we were given the feeling of "guests again, and when am I finally going to be off work?" One of the young ladies held onto the cash register the whole time, the other propped up the glass shelf. They stared stoically at the door, seemingly waiting for the mood to get to work... not a word, not a movement. It was funny to watch. We think a robot would have created more of an atmosphere... that wasn't necessarily our fault, as the other guests were treated just the same 🥴 Conclusion: The food was good, but not necessarily worth a visit. It's not more of a garden restaurant, but there are too many places in Koserow that exude a more friendly atmosphere.

Very delicious food, the fried pollock was top-notch. The schnitzel with mushrooms was delicious, and my son (4 years old) also loved the rice pudding. He even ate it all and ate some of the fish, he loved it so much! A huge selection, especially among the children's dishes! The croquettes were even homemade! Everything was served very quickly, and the decoration with all the witches was quite funny, something different! Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were still squeezed in! We'd love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the delicious, hearty dishes! 😀

Dear staff, unfortunately, I had to return the food three times because the schnitzel was undercooked and the vegetables were hard (frozen). There was no decision, and the full price was charged without batting an eyelid. NEVER AGAIN!!! What a pity.

The “wiener schnitzel” was tasty but soaked in sauce so the crispy crust got soft very quickly decreasing the taste remarkably. Potatoes were overcooked but the pork leg was good. We liked the fish soup with fresh dill and big fish pieces though it was slightly too salty for us. Therefore 3 stars for food. The service was good and quick though and the place had an interesting design connected to a history of a girl once called an amber witch 🧙 so the concept of the interior was all about witches and gnomes. That earned them the four stars 🌟

This is our second time here, and it was once again a culinary delight. The portions are just right, the service is excellent and very friendly. All in all, I can't say anything bad so far. There's nothing reheated or pre-made. Everything is freshly prepared. We vacation here on the island of Usedom every year and will happily return every year.
