5 stars are more than deserved here.
Friendly staff, the food is always top-quality, perfectly and freshly prepared, and piping hot even upon delivery.
Thank you very much, and we'll be back anytime.
The restaurant thrives on its location next to the Goethehaus. Thuringian food is also available in other places. Here in the city it is solid and sufficient.
We recently went to the GALERIA Restaurant to enjoy coffee and cake on the panoramic terrace.
The terrace was extremely full and it was impossible to get a seat there - people were already standing around everywhere waiting for the next space to become available. It was also full inside and the air was extremely stuffy.
The view from the terrace is really great, but the implementation with the consumption cards, which you get when you take the escalator up to the restaurant and which you have to hand back when you leave, is simply extremely bad.
You also have to stand in the normal checkout line if you want to leave the restaurant without eating, and if the store is jam-packed, that can take a while.
It was only when we drove back down that access to the restaurant was limited due to the number of guests. This should have been done sooner, then we and others could have saved ourselves the time of pointlessly standing in that queue at the checkout.
That was really annoying and will definitely stop us from visiting the GALERIA Restaurant again. It's a shame, because this location above the roofs of the Frankfurter Zeil is actually very beautiful.
Service is friendly.
The grill plate tasted nothing like grilling. The beef is sour, but not like beef. The cordon bleu had a strange taste. The vegetables, as already described by other guests, were not good.
The fries tasted good.
It also couldn't make up for the dessert. But it was a nice gesture.
Simply send the chef for training or make sure the ingredients are fresh.
All in all it wasn't worth the money.
Both pork and chicken schnitzel are great. We loved the green sauce unique to Frankfurt. Pork shank is delicious. The place is unique in terms of location. A great meal outside if the weather is nice.
The schnitzel and kale were really great 👍🏼
For those who like big schnitzels, it's just the thing.
Very friendly staff!
We could have even had croquettes and kale for seconds at no extra charge.
If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back.
Very friendly staff; All three meals I have eaten there so far have been very good.
Atmosphere between tradition and modernity; In my opinion the balance was struck very well.
A friendly welcome, a clean and nicely furnished room. The location in the pedestrian zone is fine for one night, and the smell of the kitchen wafting up to the room in the evening is bearable. However, I wouldn't spend a longer stay here. The shower has a somewhat unusual temperature control, which switches to a healthy alternating bath, with the water suddenly changing from pleasantly warm to very cold. On the other hand, the breakfast was very good and, at €12.50 (normally €16.50), pleasantly affordable for hotel guests. A real plus point for this hotel.
