I went to the Landhaus an der Groov in Porz Zündorf for the first time. The food was excellent. The service was very friendly. The Groov is also very nice, where you can also take lovely walks. I will come back.

It was the first time with you. Great restaurant, great beer garden, friendly service. Ordered a salmon steak with a large salad and garlic baguette. Guys, I was really disappointed 😞...Fish was fried to death, the salad wasn't tasty either...the great thing was 5 thin slices of baguette toasted with garlic. I've been a chef for 40 years and haven't had something like this for a long time. The yogurt dressing was ready, it wasn't even tasty... 80s style... Such great plates and what was on them was so loveless... This should be constructive criticism. A little more effort and maybe reconsider whether the price is justified... Still good business.

We had a place in the inner courtyard with 10 people, very ideal. Particularly noteworthy is the service, from preparation with special requests to service. Food was also very good and plentiful.

Service and ambience were good as usual. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated greatly, both in terms of taste and portions. As an example: Salad with turkey breast €18.90, meat was "fried to death" and not seasoned. Salad was very manageable with little dressing.

I can't understand the positive reviews. Salad dressing with no flavor, just a sour white sauce. I had jacket potatoes with herb quark, smoked salmon and salad. A third of the lettuce consisted of pieces with very brown spots, as if the lettuce had been stored cut for a long time, some of the leaves were very limp/mushy. The stalk was not removed from the tomato piece. Same thing with my husband's side salad. When I pointed out that these pieces didn't go on my plate at home, the answer I got was that they would be passed on in the kitchen... that's how it stayed, no apology, no offer of coffee on the house... so none Recommendation.

The food was very tasty, the service was also super friendly. You should definitely bring some time with you. If you plan to go there with a dog, be careful. Dogs are not allowed to sit on chairs and benches with cushions here. Which I personally think is very good. I don't find it pleasant to sit at a table with a dog sitting on the bench next to it that is covered in dirt because it just went swimming and then rolled around in the dirt. After all, as the next guest I wouldn't want to sit on dirty upholstery. This rule is therefore justified, after all you want to offer the next guest a clean seat.

Atmosphere and service were good, we had beef fillet tips for just under 30 euros, unfortunately a bit overcooked, served with rösti in a very thin sauce with little seasoning and no pizzazz. Otherwise ok.

Been treated very badly: Apart from a table in the beer garden where guests were already having drinks, mother and I were the only guests outside. After ordering twice (I was inside once) there were still no drinks...approx. 15 minutes. Not tragic, but we were thirsty. The young man was nice, but probably new and not yet trained. I then said (slightly impatiently, a little louder, but not rudely) Sorry, we're thirsty! I raised my hands and shoulders (i.e. gesture for what should we do?). At that moment the “junior boss”, who was also sitting at the already served table, stood up and shouted at me across the beer garden: I should be patient, the man was new and I could go somewhere else. The tone was extremely aggressive. If I had given the "wrong" answer now, I'm sure it would have escalated. I did not say anything. He: Yes, you can look there (again very aggressively). Me: Yes, I'm watching (spoken calmly). Apparently he wanted to demonstrate to the table he was sitting at who was the boss or something similar. Mother and I were shocked. I still am. Then he sat down again. So a young colleague is obviously overwhelmed, is not supported, has probably not received any proper training and instead of helping him, Cheffe snaps at the guest and sits down again. Incomprehensible. Absolutely levelless. Underground. What does he do if a guest actually behaves badly? I got along really well with the young waiter and gave him tips from my time as a waiter. The junior boss saw no reason to apologize. I told the nice senior manager what I thought about it. In my opinion, such behavior is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurateur. I hope for him and the country house that this was an exception.

Good regional cuisine, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff

I was away from our village life with my girlfriend for the first time. Since I'm originally from Porz, I showed her the groove. We then went to eat in the country house, it was beautiful there, the atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. The best example, which you don't have often anymore, is that the boss personally asked if we were okay and the other guests too. You could tell with every smile on his face that this restaurant was a matter close to his heart. The food itself was very good, large portion too. You can eat there again at any time.

Our visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. Both the behavior of the staff and the food. I ordered a pork steak, which was served half raw. After my complaint it was taken back and the same piece of meat was served half raw again. After I reported this again, they wanted to sear the same piece of steak a third time. When I politely asked the waitress (Mrs Schäfer) if I could have a schnitzel instead, which was actually cheaper, I was told that I would have to pay extra for the schnitzel. I have rarely experienced such impudence. We expected an accommodating solution and apology in vain. I decided to forgo the meal completely, but the staff reacted extremely unfriendly and still charged us 50% of the price even though I had only taken a bite of the steak. Goodwill and hospitality looks different. There was also a man behind the counter (presumably the owner's son) who even shouted and behaved extremely aggressively. A friendly approach to customers definitely looks different. Not only will I avoid this place, but I will also not recommend it to anyone and will even personally ensure that they have as few customers as possible in the future. NEVER AGAIN! Dirty shop!

We looked for a place in the shade with a small child (stroller) and parked the stroller with the sleeping child next to our table to save space. Nevertheless, an employee was clearly upset about it and sent a colleague to us. We then left. Absolutely child-unfriendly!!!!!

Nice Insta and mockery of tradition. Location is super cool. But I wouldn't go there for food. The famous goulash tastes a lot like canned food (I don't want to say dog ​​food). Service is normally unfriendly in the Cologne Köbis way. It's great to stop by there for Kölsch, but I would eat somewhere else 😉

A very nice location that I visited on one of the first days of spring. The weather was good, and it was correspondingly crowded on this Sunday afternoon, as everyone wanted to get some of what felt like the first rays of sunshine outside. So all the tables were occupied and with luck we were able to get one. It took a while to get served, but that's not what we expected given the rush. When we got into the service run, everything was perfect. The young waitress was friendly, nice, charming and quick too. The food (Sniffel beans or Schnitzel Viennese style) was also good home-style and very tasty, as was the side salad. On a positive note, there are not only blankets for human visitors, no, there are also blankets for dogs, very original. Overall, a very successful stay, would happily come again.

We were here purely by chance. Very old house from 1700. A restaurant for more than 30 years now. There is also a beer garden and a small barn. The service is very friendly and really quick. The food is inexpensive compared to big cities. Plus delicious. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces. But it is located directly on the Rhine, so you can go for a walk there. Really worth it

The first spring trip of 2024 Attentive and friendly staff

First bike tour of the year, a breakfast drink on the way shouldn't be missed. Never went to a restaurant on the Groov. Alredy today. And it was worth it. Cold gaff. Prices for the food are completely okay. The Leberkäse with fried potatoes, fried egg and side salad (this has long been abolished in half of Cologne) for 13.90 is top. Service is also very nice and quick. Ambiance very cozy. It's worth going in.

Unsere Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant war eine absolute Enttäuschung. Sowohl das Verhalten des Personals als auch das Essen. Ich habe ein Schweinesteak bestellt, das mir halb roh serviert wurde. Nach meiner Beschwerde wurde es zurückgenommen und das gleiche Stück Fleisch erneut halb roh serviert. Nachdem ich das erneut gemeldet habe, wollten sie das gleiche Stück Steak ein drittes Mal anbraten. Als ich die Kellnerin (Frau Schäfer) höflich fragte, ob ich dann stattdessen ein Schnitzel haben könnte, das sogar günstiger war, wurde mir gesagt, dass ich das Schnitzel dann aber zusätzlich zahlen müsse. So eine Unverschämtheit habe ich selten erlebt. Wir haben vergebens eine kulante Lösung und Entschuldigung erwartet. Ich entschied mich komplett auf das Essen zu verzichten, doch das Personal reagierte äußerst unfreundlich und berechnete uns immer noch 50% des Preises, obwohl ich das Steak nur angebissen hatte. Kulanz und Gastfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus. Außerdem war ein Mann aus dem Personal anwesend, der sogar herumgeschrien und sich äußerst aggressiv verhalten hat. Ein guter Umgang mit Kunden sieht definitiv anders aus. Ich werde dieses Lokal nicht nur meiden, sondern es auch niemandem weiterempfehlen und sogar persönlich dafür sorgen, dass sie zukünftig möglichst weniger Kunden haben. Nie wieder!

Mit Hund im überdachten Hof, wassernapf und sogar extra für hunde decken die man sich nehmen durfte. Leider keine kleine pommes für den hund. Ansonsten, das essen war sehr gut, die bedienung schnell nett und sehr freundlich. Das wird eins unserer lieblingsrestaurants werden. Nächster geburtstag 11.11. 😌

Lecker Semmelklöse mit Pfifferlinge

Ich bewundere immer wieder die Servicekräfte. Immer freundlich und aufmerksam, trotz viel Stress.

Bedienung war sehr flott, das Essen hat gut geschmeckt (hatte Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln und Apfelstrudel), Preisleistungsverhältnis ist ok.

Empfehlenswert in jeder Beziehung, leckeres Essen, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, einfach super.

Haben nach Spaziergang eine Kleinigkeit getrunken. Man sitzt in dem Biergarten sehr gut und man hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und bedient obwohl wir in der Mittagszeit nur etwas getrunken haben.

Gemütlich, ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Tolle Sitzplätze innen und vor allem aussen auf der Groov! Eine übersichtliche Speisekarte mit schmackhaftem Essen, das von sehr netten Leuten serviert wird.

Leider wurde statt einem Burrata ein extrem trockener Mini Mozzarella Käse serviert. Nach Rücksprache kamen nur Ausreden. Sehr teuer

Ich habe zwar nur etwas trinken wollen, was aber für den Kellner überhaupt kein Problem war. Personal machte einen wirklich freundlichen und netten Eindruck. Das Essen, was ich aber bei den anderen Gästen gesehen habe, sah wirklich sehr gut und lecker aus…. Also mein Tipp für Menschen die in der Groov was essen und trinken möchten, kann ich empfehlen…

Eine schöne kleine Gaststätte, mit rustikalem Flair. Sehr schön gelegen und einladend gestaltet. Das Essen war sehr gut, wir hatten verschiedene Speisen und waren alle zufrieden. Der Service war sehr nett, jedoch teils etwas unaufmerksam. Alles in allem kann man hier aber, in entspannter Atmosphäre, sein Essen genießen.

Gute Küche, schneller, unkomplizierter Service...

Soooo schön urig und traditionell! Sowohl drinnen als auch draußen auf der Terrasse oder in der Laube/im Hof ist es sehr gemütlich. Selbst bei viel Trubel lässt der Service nicht nach. Leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche und herzliche Bedienung, sowohl Familie Schäfer als auch die Aushilfen. Es gibt zusätzlich eine breite Bier-, Wein- und Cocktailauswahl, auch nicht-alkoholisch! So ist für jeden etwas dabei. Im Sommer wird die Platzauswahl mit einem Biergarten erweitert. Das ist auch gut so, denn die Nachfrage ist sehr hoch! Es gibt auch Kaffee und Kuchen, das wird demnächst auch noch probiert.

Nach den zahlreichen Negativbewertungen stellt sich mir die Frage: ist das gesamte Personal ausgetauscht worden? Meine Erfahrung im Biergarten war durchweg positiv. Das junge Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Mein Hund bekam unaufgefordert einen Napf mit frischem Wasser. Mein Schmalzbrot mit Zwiebeln war nicht nur optisch nett hergerichtet, sondern obendrein noch sehr lecker. Die Speisen, die der Service an die Nebentische brachte, sahen durchweg sehr appetitlich aus. Gegen 18 Uhr waren sämtliche Tische belegt, im Biergarten nebenan lediglich 1 Tisch mit 2 Personen. Ich denke, das spricht für das „Landhaus Zündorf“. ICH komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Aufmerksamer Service. Würde man dem Calamares Teller 2 bis 4 mehr Calamares Ringe zufügen, würde es die Küche 50 Cent mehr kosten aber der Kunde wäre satt und zufriedener. Leider war die Portion zu klein.

Wir waren am Samstag das erste mal dort, sehr gutes Essen ,guter Service, kleine super Terasse mit Blick über die groov ,es nieselte deshalb war es schön ruhig .....einziges Manko 2,20€Für ein sehr gutes gaffel Kölsch und 7,20€!!Für ein Glas Rose ist einfach zu teuer !!!Essen da stimmt das PL Verhältnis!kommen trotzdem gerne mal wieder!!!danke

Immer einen Besuch wert. Sehr nette Bedienung und bis jetzt haben wir immer spontan ein schönes Plätzchen draußen ergattern können im Sommer. Das Essen. Besser als "erwartet". Wir hatten Königsbergerklöpse. Schnitzel. Beides schnell und heiß serviert. Richtig positiv überrascht, hat uns der Rote Beete Burrata Salat 5☆. Die Burrata, ein Traum! Weizen, Radler mit als auch ohne Alkohol, Mai Bowle. Kaffee alles schon gehabt bei diversen Besuchen. Lecker ! Service ist recht fix und auf zack. 5☆

Einfaches Restaurant mit übersichtlichem Angebot - war früher deutlich besser, Die Bedienung besteht soweit erkennbar aus studentischen Aushilfen, die zwar sehr bemüht sind, aber der Service wirkt insgesamt etwas unorganisiert.

Wegen einer Gesellschaft, konnte leider an die anderen Gäste kein Essen ausgegeben werden. Anschließend war die Küche überfordert. Schade!!!

Sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Drei Mal dort gewesen, drei Mal schlecht behandelt! Hier wird man schonmal direkt an der Tür abgewiesen. 40 Minuten vor Feierabend noch 4 Getränke rauszugeben ist halt sehr mühselig. Da lassen wir unser Geld lieber in einem der Nachbarlokalitäten.: ) Es wäre super, wenn sie bald mal den Platz räumen und ein anständiges Lokal dorthin zieht, das dem Ambiente unserer wunderschönen Groov gerecht wird. Super leckeres Essen. Salat nur frisch, keine Fertigprodukte. Das Schnitzel ordentlich in der Pfanne gebraten und keine TK Ware. Nur zu empfehlen

Sehr höfliche Bedienung und super Biergarten....essen war auch auch gut....ein Minuspunkt: die fehlende Preisauszeichnung beim Tagesgericht und selbstgemachte Limonade 😉

Wir hatten zwar noch nicht die Gelegenheit, dort zu essen, aber es hat uns viel Spaß gemacht, in diesem Restaurant zu sitzen und einen kühlen Cocktail zu genießen. Wir haben den Ipanema, einen antialkoholischen Cocktail, und den von mir bestellten Moskau Mule probiert. Ich wies den Kellner darauf hin, dass ich ihn nur mit Gurke trinke. Zuerst fand ich es nicht in Ordnung, dass er mir sagte, dass das Haus ihn nur ohne Gurke zubereitet. Später kam er jedoch zurück und erklärte, dass man eine Ausnahme machen würde, und legte mir zwei Gurkenscheiben in meinen Moscow Mule. Darüber war ich sehr erfreut. Zusätzlich freute es mich, dass die Cocktails sowohl mit als auch ohne Gurkenscheibe ziemlich lecker waren. Was das Essen betrifft, kann ich nichts sagen, da ich es nicht probiert habe, aber es sah an den Nachbartischen sehr lecker aus. Die Portionen schienen üppig zu sein. Die Cocktails waren jedoch erstklassig und ich bin zufrieden, dass mein Wunsch nach Gurke als Zutat erfüllt wurde. Es war wirklich ein Geschmackserlebnis und so konnte ich gestärkt weiter durch die Gegend wandern.

Super Bedienung, vorallem der Barkeeper macht ein super Job und ist darüberhinaus mega sexy 🦁 Ambiente ist einzigartig und das Essen hervorragend. Immer wieder gerne 🫶🏻

Lange nicht mehr so eine leckere Kartoffelsuppe gegessen!😍 Ich bin total vom Restaurant verzaubert. Der Service ist gut so wie das Essen. Für jeden ist was dabei, für Fleischesser sowie für Vegetarier. Mir ist aufgefallen wie gut die Kellner sich untereinander verstehen und sich viel gegenseitig helfen. Ob essen raus bringen oder den Tisch des Kollegen abräumen. Dort bekommt man richtig den Teamgeist unter den Kellnern zu spüren. Liebend gerne besuche ich das Landhaus wieder 🌞!!

Nur weiter zu empfehlen!! Leckeres essen und super Personal mit einer zuvorkommenden, schnellen und gleichzeitig freundlichen Bedienung. Vor allem hat mir der Innenhof sehr gefallen mit der schönen Dekoration ! Generell ist das Landhaus ein Restaurant wo man sich direkt wohl fühlt, gerne komme ich wieder!!

Ist mein Geheimtipp in Zündorf . Das Essen war voll lecker (Vorspeise und ein Salat mit überbackenen Ziegenkäse) und die Bedienung mega freundlich. Vom Preis her auch noch akzeptabel. Wer mal einen Ausflug in die Groov macht, sollte hier zum Essen oder Trinken vorbeischauen.

Gut-bürgerlich, Essen ist ok, aber nichts Besonderes. Es fehlt das gewisse Etwas bei den Gerichten. Personal war freundlich. Preislich war es dem Essen nicht angemessen, dürfte aber der Lage direkt an der Groov geschuldet sein.
