The food was very tasty, the portion of black pudding could have been a little more but the price was more than reasonable.

Leider hat uns der Aufenthalt so gar nicht gefallen.Wir hatten reserviert und auch schnell unseren Tisch bekommen,der Kellner machte von Anfang an komische Bemerkungen und brachte mal 1 Kölsch oder dann mal 3,aber nicht immer für alle.Das Essen hat leider an dem Tag nicht geschmeckt und der Sauerbraten ist bestimmt schon Tage Alt gewesen.

We were just passing through the brewery. Although we hadn't reserved a table, we were allowed to sit down briefly and have a drink. Next time we will definitely make reservations for a delicious meal.

A train station restaurant with a large selection of food and drinks

Delicious food and Kölsch. The service was great, quick and very attentive

Showed up after the theater in a group of about 20 people. About 50 Kölsch were slapped on the table. Logically, they became stale relatively quickly. Two bottles of lousy white wine were then ordered. In total, within 90 minutes of being served at our table three times, we got a bill of over 300 euros for about 100 crappy, disgusting Kölsch and two crappy bottles of white wine. Then thrown out without mercy within 5 minutes so you can call it a day. Next time we'll drink in private. There are no longer any pubs on Schäl Sick where you can still sit after 24 hours.

There's nothing to complain about, we felt very comfortable, the food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long

We were there with our dog on New Year's Eve to have a little something to eat and warm up. Everything from my point of view is solid, but not particularly good; hence a classic 4/5. I would order the potato soup again, but the Cologne tapas weren't worth it.

Wir waren zu zweit im Deutzer Brauhaus und haben am 31.12.24, nach dem freunlichen Empfang, das sehr leckere und umfangreiche Silvesterbuffet genossen. Tolle Auswahl und netter Service. Es war ein gelungener Abend bis hin zum Jahressübergang direkt am Rheinufer. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man gerne isst und nicht unbedingt auf eine Silvesterparty möchte. Die Musik im Hintergrund war auch angenehm. Einziges Manko zum Ende hin war das laute Scheppern von Glasflaschen oder Dessertgläsern, die in eine Plastiktonne geworfen wurden (im Servicebereich) - das war schon sehr laut. Aber das gehört wahrscheinlich zum Brauhaus dazu 😄

Sehr gutes Essen. Freundlicher Service!! Der Köbes bestellte direkt ein neues Essen, nachdem der Salzstreuer offenbar nicht richtig verschlossen war und das Salz sich über den Teller verteilte. Als Entschädigung gab es auch noch einen Beilagensalat.

The food is good, the price-performance ratio is okay. The Köbes takes some getting used to. And the flexibility is very low. Attention: American Express is not accepted.

We were there the week before Christmas. The waitress was able to seat us at a table somehow. It was very crowded and loud. The drinks and food were served quickly. 1x savoy cabbage roulade and 1x heaven and earth. It was very tasty, really good, regional home cooking. In our opinion the price was reasonable. We'd love to come back

I really enjoy going to the Deutzer Brauhaus. I find the giant currywurst with fries particularly tasty. Service is very friendly and regularly checks whether you are still supplied with drinks. In summer you can also sit outside on the terrace.

Count your beers carefully because otherwise they will charge you more!

As always, just great here. Beer tastes good and is always recreated. Fried cake very crispy, apple compote not too sweet. Vegan dish with vegetables and vegan mayonnaise. Delicious. Apple strudel recommended. Everything was very tasty. A good place to eat before heading to the nearby Lanxess Arena.

My husband and I always like to go here... Whether we're having a date night for two, going out to eat with our children or just meeting friends, it's always the right place... You can find a place in large and small groups The food doesn't suffer from a large order quantity... The dishes always come to the table equally tasty and quickly... Last time we were all women and we had a great time... The waiters are courteous and endlessly funny... They absolutely reflect the soul of Cologne - warm, inviting and relaxed... We love it here.. .

Don’t know how much I should rate. The food is okey but an interesting story happened. We entered the restaurant and I asked a table for three, maybe my English pronunciation for three was a bit like free, and staff said free is for nothing, then I said three again, I thought he was making a joke but felt a bit weird (i wonder why correcting my English pronunciation in a restaurant?) We signalled the staff for ordering and asking for bill, a staff came to us and lectured us, I quote: in Europe, waving your hand to signal the staff in the restaurant is unacceptable and considered rude, you should not wave but just wait until the staff come. Again, good to know but felt a bit weird. We are not European but lived in the UK for 5 years and the Netherlands for months we always wave our hands to signal the staff in restaurants for ordering and paying. I wonder if this custom is a bit different in Germany? Or maybe because we are tourists and look ‘not European’?

Nice brewery with changing events during the typical Cologne seasons. Good price and performance ratio. Beer from the barrel. Pleasant surroundings with an adapted menu. Parking at the Lanxess Arena about 6 minutes away on foot. Top service when reserving a table online, uncomplicated.

Had a great couple of dinners here this week. Served by Pitter who was amazing - thank you! Amazing pork knuckle and also currywurst and bratwurst. Beer is cold and crisp, and the service was exceptional. Would highly recommend this place to everyone - wish we had a place like this back in Australia!

My favorite among the breweries, I am loyal and like to come here again and again! This time we celebrated a 35 year reunion with a dear guest from the USA, he was an exchange student at our gym in Lower Saxony and the Cologne cuisine at the Deutzer Brauhaus is simply delicious, as is the service and the ambience! ;)

Convenient when you waiting for a train. It's a rather larger place with multilevel sitting.

To be honest, our enthusiasm is limited. The main course came almost at the same time as the starters. After we initially rejected the main course, we got a slightly annoyed reaction. Having just finished the starter, the main courses came straight back. Of course only warm and no longer hot. This can definitely be planned better and it should be standard practice to pay attention to it. The waiter didn't take the feedback very well and instead of apologizing, he talked his way out of it. From then on we were pretty much ignored. That's not professional. The food itself was okay, but no reason to specifically go there again. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is really nice.

We had a very good brewery pan and a currywurst, definitely recommended. The interior seemed modern and rustic at the same time, and the brewery charm appealed to us straight away. We have to make slight deductions when it comes to service; in our opinion, we were sometimes forgotten despite the low occupancy and the service staff reached over the table in front of the guest despite the table being fully accessible. We didn't like that so much, but that can always happen. We would definitely like to come back!

On Whit Monday we had reserved a table for 10 people and because the weather was also very nice, we had the table outside. But since we had our in-laws with us and they couldn't sit on the benches of the beer table set for that long, we asked for a place to sit there. This was absolutely no problem and the area that was supposed to stay that day was even opened to us. The Köbis was friendly and accommodating… Kölsch and food came quite quickly. Everyone was full and happy after eating. Even the 3 kids. My father-in-law was also very happy and you can imagine him saying his opinion whenever something doesn't fit or taste good! My husband & I like to stop here often when we are on our way to downtown Cologne, even if it's just for a Kölsch... So far we have always been very satisfied... now we are looking forward to tomorrow... bachelor party 2.0 with bride & groom 👌🏻

First of all: It is a brewery that was set up at a train station. So it's not as quaint as some other breweries. But it is comfortably furnished, has a terrace, the service is friendly and the beer tastes good. If you're in the area, this is a good place to eat and drink a beer. But you probably wouldn't come from far away.

The food was barely eatable. The goulash had no flavor. The sauerbraten was just unflavored roast with a bunch of gravy poured on top.

Prices really juicy... Half Mettbrötchen €6.50! Cucumber €2.50 Service top!

The service was very good, cheerful, quick and attentive. The food was ok, but didn't quite do justice to the fairly high price level. But that may also be a matter of taste. Personally, it was too loud for me and conversations were difficult.

We were there with five people. Unfortunately, only four people received their ordered food. The fifth person's food was forgotten We would be put off, it would come soon...... After the four people had finished eating, we canceled the fifth meal, which still wasn't there, and left. Unfortunately, the waiter apologized by giving us a whole Kölsch for five people. Not recommended.

We were completely satisfied, everyone was friendly and the food was very tasty. In the mushroom cream sauce, the mushrooms were even fresh and not canned.

I've walked past here dozens of times and have always been amazed at how busy it is. The reviews are also consistently very positive. But my first visit on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 was more than sobering. We spontaneously got a table for 3 people (around 5:55 p.m.) with the information that we could have it for a maximum of 1.5 hours. But this didn't bother us because we wanted to be in the arena for the KEC at 7:30 p.m. anyway. It didn't take long until we got the tickets to order. We waited almost 10 minutes for the first round. The food came to the table quickly. The prices here are really impressive! Schnitzel with fries without salad for a mere €18. A “Brauhaus meatball” on a slice of bread with a hint of red onions and mustard for a whopping €6.90. The meatballs not only looked like a convenience product, but they also didn't taste good at all, what a shame!!!! In total we spent about 80 minutes here and were visited at the table three times by Köbes, so we left after only two beers and the food. It's a shame, it didn't convince me! Great location, great ambience, poor service and the food didn't blow my mind.

Went to the brewery on November 11th! The atmosphere was great! Food and drinks were quite expensive, but they were good! But I didn't understand why we had to wait in front of the door for an hour despite having tickets, and the staff didn't give any information about it either! It was already crowded when we got in, so why get tickets if I don't regulate? On the upper floor you were only allowed to sit down to eat. Overall we liked it!

The food turned out really bad. The schnitzels are not freshly prepared. The sauce for sauerbraten is not sour and the red cabbage is also tastier. The bratwurst is a bit dry, as are the fried potatoes. The service was very nice and accommodating. The ambience is typical of a brewery, loud.
