The food was barely eatable. The goulash had no flavor. The sauerbraten was just unflavored roast with a bunch of gravy poured on top.

The service was very good, cheerful, quick and attentive. The food was ok, but didn't quite do justice to the fairly high price level. But that may also be a matter of taste. Personally, it was too loud for me and conversations were difficult.

You are only placed in loud places. Although there are quieter places on the edge or above (not so loud music, etc.), you are not allowed to sit there.

From the reservation to the payment everything went perfectly, even on an Advent Sunday 👍 Delicious food, the Kölsch tastes good anyway and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We'd love to come back!

We were completely satisfied, everyone was friendly and the food was very tasty. In the mushroom cream sauce, the mushrooms were even fresh and not canned.

We were there with five people. Unfortunately, only four people received their ordered food. The fifth person's food was forgotten We would be put off, it would come soon...... After the four people had finished eating, we canceled the fifth meal, which still wasn't there, and left. Unfortunately, the waiter apologized by giving us a whole Kölsch for five people. Not recommended.

I've walked past here dozens of times and have always been amazed at how busy it is. The reviews are also consistently very positive. But my first visit on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 was more than sobering. We spontaneously got a table for 3 people (around 5:55 p.m.) with the information that we could have it for a maximum of 1.5 hours. But this didn't bother us because we wanted to be in the arena for the KEC at 7:30 p.m. anyway. It didn't take long until we got the tickets to order. We waited almost 10 minutes for the first round. The food came to the table quickly. The prices here are really impressive! Schnitzel with fries without salad for a mere €18. A “Brauhaus meatball” on a slice of bread with a hint of red onions and mustard for a whopping €6.90. The meatballs not only looked like a convenience product, but they also didn't taste good at all, what a shame!!!! In total we spent about 80 minutes here and were visited at the table three times by Köbes, so we left after only two beers and the food. It's a shame, it didn't convince me! Great location, great ambience, poor service and the food didn't blow my mind.

Spontaneously got a table with 6 people on Friday evening without a reservation. Waiters on the ball, super tasty food at fair prices. Nice rustic facility. Definitely coming back.

We stopped here for a Kölsch. Rustic but partly modern atmosphere, but relatively loud. Service was good and Kölsch was ok.

Went to the brewery on November 11th! The atmosphere was great! Food and drinks were quite expensive, but they were good! But I didn't understand why we had to wait in front of the door for an hour despite having tickets, and the staff didn't give any information about it either! It was already crowded when we got in, so why get tickets if I don't regulate? On the upper floor you were only allowed to sit down to eat. Overall we liked it!

The food turned out really bad. The schnitzels are not freshly prepared. The sauce for sauerbraten is not sour and the red cabbage is also tastier. The bratwurst is a bit dry, as are the fried potatoes. The service was very nice and accommodating. The ambience is typical of a brewery, loud.

The brewery is located at Cologne Deutz train station. The atmosphere is just as typical as you would expect, the service is good, the food is very tasty 😋 and the 🍺 beers taste good too. The prices are also reasonable. If you want to spend a nice evening with friends with good food and beer, the Brauhaus Deutz is in good hands 👍. Have fun.

Reserved a table for 8 people for 5:00 p.m. Information at reception, we have to leave at 7:30 p.m. Information at the table, we have to leave at 6:30 p.m. After protesting, we were allowed to stay until shortly after 7 p.m., then we were given the last beer and had to pay. This dubious service does not deserve a star.

After a long trip and a tiring weekend, my best friend and I wanted to have a cup of cocoa to say goodbye. We sat down at the high tables, which as far as I know are there for just having a drink. One of the waiters was so rude and said he had to tell us: “Go to the brewery and have a cocoa - that's clear.” Sorry, but why do you have cocoa on the menu if you don't want the guests to drink it at your place? Then he walked past us again with an extra loud, annoyed groan. Such behavior is quite unpleasant. The other waiters were nice, hence the 2 stars.

Large selection of food. We were a wedding party of around 20 people. We were served very nicely and quickly. Everything is highly recommended

Never again. Four of us ate there. Paid by card. The invoice amount was debited twice and the excess debited amount has not yet been transferred back after almost 1.5 months. The whole thing seems like a scam to me. I wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

It was like rain and sunshine, We were each looking forward to a (mixed) cutlet as highlighted on the menu and what did we get: fried stick cutlets! The Köbes immediately asked the chef in the kitchen and the chef said: "It would be one way or another depending on the delivery!" We told Köbes that the menu shouldn't say anything extra (mixed) and that the answer would be a disgrace for a "cook". The Köbes was completely with us and replaced the chops with the pork knuckles at our request! And they were really tasty with juicy meat and a super crispy crust! So the rain would turn into sunshine! So please ask the chef again about the different types of chops! In the meantime, let's go to Lommi for neck chops! Sorry

Very nice station restaurant that is not only visited by travelers. Good food and drink, very good and fast service at an acceptable price. Highly recommended.

Es war wie Regen und Sonnenschein, wir hatten uns auf jeweils ein wie in der Karte extra hervorgehoben (durchwachsenes ) Kotelett gefreut und was bekamen wir: durch gebratene Stielkoteletts! Der Köbes hatte sofort in der Küche beim Koch nachgefragt und der Koch sagte:" das wäre je nach Lieferung so oder so!" Wir sagten dem Köbes , dann sollte in der Karte nicht extra (durchwachsen) stehen und die Antwort wäre für einen "Koch" ein Armutszeugnis. Der Köbes war voll bei uns und ersetzte die Koteletts auf unseren Wunsch durch die Schweinshaxen! Und die waren echt lecker mit saftigem Fleisch und super knuspriger Kruste! Also aus Regen würde Sonnenschein! Bitte also den Koch nochmals in den unterschiedlichen Arten von Koteletts Schulen! In der Zwischenzeit gehen wir für Nackenkoteletts zum Lommi! Sorry

Oh, how wonderful a brewery like this with a terrace and from some of the windows in the interior there is a direct view of the Messe-Deutz train station lobby. You can bear it if things don’t work out as planned with the “Bundesbahn”! Very nice rooms, interesting toilets, metal is particularly loud there (Back in Black by ACDC), but can still be heard at the tables. Modern design with retro (old suitcases on the shelves), in reality guests' thick suitcases, which freshen up here before continuing their journey. We took the advertised potato pancakes with applesauce (crisp and delicious) as well as several sticks of Gaffel-Kölsch. Since we were testing Röggelchen today, we were happy that there was actually only half a Röggelchen (and not 2 halves as usual). Service quick and friendly, everything as it should be!

Unbeknownst to me, the waiter charged a 10% tip. I'm very upset about this. Be careful not to get scammed when paying!

Every now and then I noticed that (out-of-town) guests were upset about the Köbes. Honestly, if you can't handle that, you shouldn't go to a brewery. The menu also offers a large selection and so far neither I nor my friends or colleagues have had anything that wasn't tasty. And you will always be full. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Everything is in good shape, clean and tidy. The only thing you have to adjust to is the volume when the store is full. But that's complaining at a high level ;) There is also a nice outdoor area where you can enjoy a beer when the weather is nice.

Unfortunately the only beer available is wheat and Kölsch. Therefore only partially suitable for groups from different areas of Germany. But food is good. But the food is good.

Sehr gutes Brauhaus. Freundlicher Service und wirklich leckeres Essen. Sauerbraten und spareribs sowie der Salat mit Ziegenkäse und halver Hahn waren richtig lecker ! Echt gut und besser als in vielen brauhäusern. Gemütliche Atmosphäre und preis Leistung auch gut. Einzig Auswahl an offenen weinen ist nicht so toll , nur Pinot Grigio ist etwas wenig. Dennoch toll, kommen gerne wieder !

Perfect, sublime food. I took the typical dish "Himmel un ääd" which may look bad but I assure you that you will be satisfied. I would have given 5 stars if there had been better customer care. Right from the start the waitress who saw me alone didn't have an ounce of patience: I tried to ask for some dishes in German and she didn't even let me finish my sentence to leave; He looked at me strangely when he passed by my table and was uncomfortable for the entire duration of the meal.

Preferably 0 stars. We came in, went to reception and were asked if we wanted food or drinks. Since we wanted both, we couldn't go on the open terrace but had to go to the high tables. All occupied, one free with the sign reserved. When asked, very unfriendly answers: "It's dripping from the toilet, if you sit there I won't serve you", "yes, all the places there are closed, unless you want to get wet, I won't discuss that" No alternative offered, no further consideration. So we left straight away.

I had dinner at the Deutzer Brauhaus on September 13th, 2024. There were problems with the card payment on the mobile device and I had to use another device. A week later I saw on my bank statement that the amount had been debited twice. After several phone calls and emails, the money has not yet been credited back. My patience is slowly running out...

It is of course very geared towards the tourist. I assume that locals don't stop there. But as I said, you can do it. In my opinion, you can find more authentic Cologne locations nearby, but that is my personal opinion and experience.
