Very tasty food and the Kölsch was tapped super, as it should be

Very much enjoyed my dinner here with colleagues. A very typical Kölsch brauhaus.

The waiter was not friendly but the meal was good

It's always really nice to be here. The service is very straightforward, even if it is a bit busier. Absolutely enough staff on site, a good menu and a really nice atmosphere. Everyone will find their “favorite place”

Unfriendly waiter and the portion for €19 was so small (4 patties in total) that I felt like I was finished before others started eating. Price performance very weak unfortunately.

I waited more than 30 minutes for my third Kölsch. Doesn't work at all...

The staff would have to work on communication to prevent misunderstandings. We also had to wait a long time for the bill due to a lack of communication between the staff. The food was good and the drinks were replenished very quickly.

I was also looked after by your extremely friendly service team throughout the evening. I'm very pleased to see that you have such a dynamic team. I would like to thank the young man at the reception again, and I would recommend your restaurant at any time!

Anyone who wants to go to the Cologne Arena or FC should strengthen themselves here.

Good food, friendly service and good location. What more could you want? Is quite large and very lively. So not for a romantic dinner, but it was really good for a delicious meal with friends, perhaps before a visit to the Lanxess Arena.

The waiters are very funny and relaxed. So we immediately felt in good hands. We got a place straight away in the very spacious brewery. Unfortunately, part of our order took a little longer than the rest of the table, so we were almost finished eating when our friends got their food. Quite ok in terms of price. The meat loaf was very tasty and the fried potatoes were well seasoned and not too greasy. All in all, you can have some peace and quiet here and sit comfortably among yourself.

So far I had only drunk beer at the Deutzer Brauhaus and now I ate a hearty kölsch beer for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Best “Himmel und Äd” in a long time and also very good “Fröhliche Düxer”.

Went to the Deutzer with 30 people as a company event, with a visit from the Kölner Haie. Köbes very good, very friendly. The food is typically good and very quick. Everyone very satisfied.

Too crowded and loud on Sunday. Unfortunately, the food was only warm and mediocre.

It was great there!! Ate outside because the weather was so nice that day!! It was well 👍 attended!! Service was very good, very friendly, didn't have to wait long for the food!! Kölsch delicious 😋 all in all good 👍 I can recommend it!!

We don't like being cheated! The waiter overcharged both couples. According to his reaction, it wasn't an accident. The portions were too small. The portion of Himmel un Ääd was a child's portion and of disgraceful quality.

Unfortunately the cordon bleu was a pure disappointment, as it looked it also tasted bland and more like canteen food. The other dishes we ordered, including meat loaf and potato pancakes, were very tasty, the service was also super friendly and the atmosphere was really cool

Short-term table reservations (1 day in advance) are not possible. The place is completely booked according to the reservation portal. However, you can be put on a waiting list and, if a table becomes available, you will be informed by email 10 minutes before your desired time. Waiting list place 5th class!!! Great system!!! Who could have thought of it?! If you are notified at all (in our case not), you will have long since been sitting in another Cologne brewery to have your food and drinks. So you can easily do without the Deutzer Brauhaus, Cologne has better locations like this train station platform. If you visit this shop at a late hour, where there are plenty of free tables, you will be asked whether you just want something to drink or something to eat. Depending on the answer, a table is assigned. Only the area with the high tables is designated for drinking. We should look for a place, the friendly Köbes replied. No sooner said than done, off to the high table area. There we met the next Köbes who told us that the area was already closed (10:20 p.m.) even though there were over 10 tables free and at least 30 people were celebrating loudly and drinking beer. After this back and forth and the unfriendliness of some Köbesse towards the customers, who, by the way, secure and maintain their jobs by visiting there, we decided to leave the "Schäl Sick vum Rhing" and visited a renowned brewery on the good side of the Rhine in Cologne's old town. Conclusion of the evening: It's better to have a drink at the booth and wave in the direction of Schäl Sick!

A solid Cologne brewery! All Cologne classics "nicely prepared", fresh and delicious, the beer from the Pittermännchen because it's running and the Köbesse who also like to "Kölsch schwade"

The food and ambience were good. The service was extremely unmotivated and bored. The receptionist didn't manage to put his cell phone aside to look at us. “6 people - high chair area,” were his only words of greeting. The service at the table was also only moderately more motivated. The food, on the other hand, was good and plentiful, although not really reasonably priced.

I usually resolve differences of opinion directly and so I first sent the following “experience report” to the brewery a week ago. But received no response about this. That's why I'm posting my report here publicly: "Today at 4 p.m. I wanted to eat at your place as before (I think you cook well and have a nice restaurant; I've already recommended you to others). Although the restaurant was very empty, the "young man" (I'm 68!) was seated at an unattractive high table. When I politely asked for a normal high table, the employee in charge directed me to the second worst place. Since I wanted to avoid the third option directly to be placed in front of the toilet (as was done 40 years ago with solo travelers), I stopped the "exercise" and went to eat elsewhere.

Unfortunately very disappointed. The Cola and Fanta were non-carbonated, the coffee was already cold. Unfortunately, the service was also too unfriendly. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all.

Tolles Brauhaus direkt im Deutzer Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Messe und gegenüber Dom und HBF Köln auf der schäl Sick. Die Karte ist typisch für ein Kölner Brauhaus und es gibt noch saisonale Sonderkarten (z.B. aktuell Grünkohlgerichte). Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen selbst sind für ein Brauhaus von wirklich guter Qualität und schmackhaft. Vor Konzerten oder anderen Großveranstaltungen wird es oft sehr voll und dann schlagartig leer. Eine Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Ich finde es sehr gut und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren bei unserer Reise nach Köln 3 Mal im Brauhaus. Es hat uns super gefallen, die Bedienungen waren alle super nett. Das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen und die Atmosphäre passt.

I've been a guest for years, unfortunately things have declined. The waiter makes you die of thirst and you sit in front of empty glasses for ages. The non-alcoholic wheat that comes out of the bottle only fills the glass about 400ml, 100ml seems to evaporate on the way to the glass After the complaint, it took 30 minutes until a bad-tempered "boss" who needed a new glass made a stupid comment and disappeared. Unfortunately the glass was even less full. Unfortunately the food has also gotten worse. The schnitzels were OK, the sauces, well, bad finished product. Heaven and Äd with Flönz. Hmmm... that's also available elsewhere in Delicious and the portion was a joke for the price I usually go there with groups and am now looking for another location...

We were there by chance, we quickly got delicious food, the Köbes was on point, so we were happy and satisfied 😉

Wir hatten einen super Abend, haben paar Pommes gesnackt und Drinks zu uns genommen. Herausragend war der Kellner Willi. Sehr höflich, Aufmerksam und auf Zack. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We were there on carnival Saturday... pure Cologne carnival... top security, top music (modern and traditional Cologne carnival music) if you don't like Cologne music, forget it... it's not yours... great for everyone else. What is critical is that unfortunately there are not enough staff in the cloakroom! There's Kölsch Gaffel... it's ok, but you know which Kölsch you like... the audience was rather middle-aged, so a few 18-25 year olds, the majority of people were between 30 and 50... (at least on Carnival Saturday)... toilet situation was great, although the queue for the women's toilet was sometimes long. So for couples of carnivalists who like good Cologne carnival music, this is a top recommendation. After 11 p.m. it was no longer crowded...people make something of it but I'm not going until 2027, then it will remain my insider tip next year.

Unfortunately in our case 1 star is still too much. We wanted to drink a few beers to pass the wait for the train. Unfortunately we were neither noticed nor served here. Then we left again. There is no risk of repetition.

We had reserved the table early in the year for a larger group. An additional increase in the number was also possible at short notice. We were welcomed very warmly and served very quickly. Warm Cologne brewery atmosphere. As a native of the Rhineland, I have enjoyed hearty Rhenish cuisine after more than 20 years. All of the Köbesse were helpful, funny and, despite the full house, they couldn't be bothered. Definitely worth a visit!

Very good hot pretzel with butter! Mushroom sauce with chunks of mushrooms and creamy. Well-seasoned sausage and tasty side dish.

The Cologne dishes are traditionally good and plentiful, the Kölsch is fresh and delicious. The service is quick and attentive, but does a Köbes have to be rough or cheeky these days? There's no need for a flippant remark if someone doesn't want alcohol!!! Two stars deducted for the ambience, because as pretty as it looks, when the store is full it is simply too loud to have a normal conversation due to the lack of insulation!

We went to the Deutzer Brauhaus based on a recommendation. A good and typical Cologne brewery. The service was quick and attentive, the supply of Kölsch was always guaranteed and the food was very good. What bothered us was the extreme noise in the house. It was very crowded and therefore very narrow and loud. Normal conversations with the other person at the table were a bit challenging. But all in all a good brewery!

Before every visit to the Cologne Arena in summer, the nicest thing to do is visit the beer garden. Sometimes I meet friends there who are going to the concert... We eat together... and I stroll home without expensive tickets. Great team. Always good vibes!!! Good salads, good schnitzels. Love it 🤩
