Friendly service. Very good value for money.

We had a large family birthday group eating here. Drinks were quickly provided. The food was good and everyone enjoyed it.

If you like good home-style food, you should avoid this place… Our lunch today:  two barely seasoned, dry medallions with canned mushrooms in ready-made sauce and frozen croquettes for €21.90;  a roughly 2.5 cm thick, breaded piece of meat dripping with fat with frozen creamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower) for €19.30. Unfortunately, even worse than this overpriced canteen food is the unmotivated and “stuffy” staff. Here you are actually loudly accused of preferring pressed meat if you expect a thinly sliced, tender and crispy schnitzel instead of the thick, breaded, fat-dripping meat served. We have visited the Alpenwirt several times and also held family celebrations. Quality and service have declined over time and, according to today's experience, have reached substandard levels. We definitely won't be coming here again...

Very good selection of dishes on offer. Venison roulade and knuckle are particularly recommended.

In October 2024 we celebrated my 70th birthday with 44 people in the “Alpenwirt”. The innkeeper gave us the best advice when planning the event, so the celebration was a great success. The buffet (German cuisine) was very tasty, with the warm portion being served by two chefs. The entire team gave us a warm welcome. The service was extremely attentive and quick. The selection of drinks was sufficiently large; When it came to (alcoholic) beer, you could choose between a (German) Pilsner, a Czech black beer and an “Alpine beer” (Allgäuer Büble). Thank you for the great atmosphere - we'll be happy to come back.

Nice atmosphere in the centrally located and easily accessible restaurant. Service was very good and friendly. Unfortunately, negative points when it came to the food - one dish arrived significantly late, while the rest of the guests had to start eating, otherwise the other dishes would have gotten cold. The boiled/fried (?) green beans were very disappointing; they tasted bland because they obviously weren't seasoned or salted. Furthermore, the rump steak was lukewarm to almost cold. All other dishes were very good. Too bad. Nevertheless, we can rate the price-performance ratio positively.

Mein erster (und letzter) Besuch in diesem Haus war einfach nur unerfreulich. Wir wollten ein Glas Wein trinken und dabei mit den Wirt über das Ausrichten einer Trauerfeier sprechen. Bis dahin sind wir erst gar nicht gekommen. Weil ich mich vom Weinangebot (Müller-Thurgau und Spätburgunder) nicht begeistert gezeigt habe, sprach der Wirt zunächst gut hörbar mit sich selbst: "Das kann ja was werden". Auf meine Frage, warum er denn so schnippisch wäre, wurde mir empfohlen, dann eben ein Bier zu trinken. Das hört sich alles nicht aufregend an, aber wie immer macht der Ton die Musik und dieser war unangemessen und übergriffig. Also lieber etwas anderes suchen - der Mann hats nicht verdient.

We celebrated the wedding of a family member there on September 28th, 2024. The service, the ambience and the food were absolutely amazing. We felt very comfortable there. I can only recommend this restaurant, every wish will be fulfilled there.

To everyone out there!!! I can only warmly recommend this restaurant, super cozy atmosphere and great location. A top selection of food and drinks and everything served in the finest quality. Super nice service, always with an eye on the supply without long waiting times. A top kitchen team who prepare everything with love, there is something for every taste. Celebrated my niece's wedding here, everything was perfectly organized, you couldn't do it better, highly recommended 10 out of 10 stars. Anyone looking for a location will find it here.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, the food was great

As the operator of a small holiday resort, we regularly test different restaurants in order to be able to give our guests the best recommendations. The Alpenwirt in Berlin, run by the Baaske family, particularly impressed us. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant, and the great location and appealing ambience immediately created a relaxed atmosphere. The friendly staff also helps you feel completely comfortable. The choice of food is excellent: an upscale selection of German cuisine as well as Alpine specialties. The originally designed menu offers both traditional and creative dishes that impress both visually and tastefully. Be sure to try the venison roulade or the sauerbraten. Even a vegetarian like me can find a great selection and tasty dishes here! What struck us particularly positively was the excellent price-performance ratio. The price is always right and reflects the high quality of the food and service. Our conclusion: There are only a few restaurants like this left. You can feel the joy and dedication of the Baaske family in every detail. The Alpenwirt can definitely be recommended – a real highlight in Berlin! We like to give 5 stars.

We have known the restaurant for a long time. 25 years. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as usual. Red cabbage tasted like nothing. Rump steak was gristly. The sauce for the sauerbraten tasted very artificial. Too bad. Waiter was very nice.

It's says it's open but the Kitchen closes at 8pm when mostly people are also going to eat. That doesn't make any sense... I only went there one time but the last three times I couldn't achieve to eat before the kitchen is closed.

I dined there with my wife for our wedding anniversary. Our table was lovingly decorated to suit the occasion, and the service was always friendly and courteous. The portions were large enough, extremely tasty and beautifully presented on the plate or pan. You just felt comfortable there.

My husband and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary there today and I was impressed. The ambience was fantastic and the food was great, you could taste that it was prepared with love and dedication. The service 5 stars simply great. Came with my daughter for lunch. We sat outside. We ordered roast venison and game roulade. The food is excellent and rich. The service was very friendly, quick and also with humor. We felt very comfortable. It definitely won't be the last visit...

The Alpenwirt was mentioned to us by acquaintances as a place where you can enjoy good German cuisine at fair prices. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant is furnished in a very cozy, rustic style. The staff is very quick, attentive and funny. We had the trout (deboned) and the pork fillet strips. It was absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed it. We are thrilled and will definitely come back. There is also space for larger groups and the tables are beautifully set up for special occasions.

Went to the Alpenwirt at 8:45 p.m. As always we were not disappointed. This time we had the sauerbraten and the pepper steak. The sauerbraten was very tender and tasty. I particularly enjoyed my pepper steak. I had never eaten this anywhere before. The sauce that came with it was absolutely delicious. Overall, you can tell that people still cook here themselves. We like to come back again and again.

For the first time at the Alpenwirt and unfortunately disappointed. The pretty good ambience is not enough for a successful lunchtime stay. Food and drink: As usual everywhere, the prices are rather high. You can adjust to that. Not a big problem. But unfortunately the proportions are The food on this occasion was obviously a little smaller become. That's not good for all of us fallen. Nice rustic atmosphere Beautiful, delicious food and the staff is also absolutely friendly

We were there for lunch in 2024 as part of two city tours with 50 Spandau seniors each. All dishes were well received. There were no complaints whatsoever. The service staff was friendly, attentive and quick. The prices for the meals gave no cause for complaint. We would like to thank the service staff and of course (!) the friendly, accommodating host. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back.

I ordered Wiener Schnitzel from Alpenwirt for the second time for my birthday party. It was once again extremely tasty. The schnitzels come in these catering bowls where they can be kept warm, which is a little show in itself and is always well received by the guests. Once again I received compliments from everyone on the delicious schnitzels and I would like to pass on the compliment to the great cuisine at Alpenwirt. By the way, very accommodating boss and very reasonable prices.

Insanely delicious food from Bavaria. I had the goose leg and my friend had the sauerbraten. Both 1A. Initially there were difficulties finding space for my friend Marco, who has walking difficulties, but the staff found a solution. Thank you very much!

We were at the Alpenwirt with a large group (45 people). We had very nice contact with the landlord beforehand. The pre-orders went smoothly and the food was served quickly in the evening. The host and the staff were very nice and accommodating. If you like Bavarian beer and a rustic atmosphere, Alpenwirt is the right place for you!

The food was very tasty, huge selection. But ordering takes a long time. Ambience very nice.

The ambience is easily trumped by the very nice service and the really good food. I was particularly impressed by the Lower Bavarian cucumber salad (well seasoned) and the fried potatoes.

Here we have a very down-to-earth restaurant with good local cuisine. We were there in a large group (10 people) and everyone was very satisfied with the food they ordered. The vegetables were fresh, the meat was on point, even though all the plates came to the table at the same time. The portions are quite large, so you will definitely be able to eat. The prices are reasonable for the portions, perhaps even rather cheap. Since this is a restaurant that specializes in hearty home cooking, the menu naturally predominantly contains meat dishes. But you can still find a small selection of vegetarian dishes, which were also very large and tasty (see pictures). The service was also extremely friendly, pleasantly reserved, but always attentive and present. So if you're looking for good local cuisine, in a nice atmosphere and pleasant service, you'll definitely get your money's worth here.

The “innkeepers” and their team were great hosts for my big birthday. The restaurant is very comfortable and decorated very well. My guests felt very comfortable. The service was top and the cuisine was excellent. We can recommend the “Alpenwirt” and look forward to our next visit.

Good food and friendly service, you can't go wrong if you want to go out for a nice meal. And if a celebration (birthday, etc.) is coming up, you can trustfully turn to the host couple, who will make the celebration an experience. The restaurant is located on the street of the Pariser Kommune/Frankfurter Allee. Typically Bavarian furnishings. You can stop by without booking a seat. There are regional dishes and game dishes there. The game dish is not for everyone. The pork knuckle is delicious, except the pea puree was overcooked. Like cosmonauts food. The entrance is a bit tight for wheelchairs ♿️.

Delicious food, great drinks... but the kitchen closes at 8 p.m.... seriously??? ... and the quasi-expulsion at 9.30 p.m. didn't have to happen either...

Ordering took a relatively long time for a 5 p.m. and not a crowded restaurant. Food (steak au four) was very tough. The portion is manageable. No salad or vegetables included. The Kaiserschmarrn was hard and didn't work at all. Probably everything from the bag into the microwave. There was no soap in the toilets. Unfortunately, after notification, this did not change. Our last visit here.

Great interior design. You feel comfortable straight away. Price/performance excellent. You get nice big portions. And the quantity of drinks is also right. Plus great service. If we're in Berlin again, we'll eat there again straight away.

Waren am Sonntag 21.01.24 mit Kind und Kegel im Alpenwirt. Wir hatten Plätze bestellt zu 17.00 Uhr. Nach 20 min nahmen wir uns vom Tresen selbständig Speisekarten, da zu uns niemand kam und die Kinder Hunger hatten -5 bis 9 Jahre. Nachdem wir etwas später mit einigen Verwechslungen bestellt hatten, warteten wir insgesamt 35 min auf Getränke und 75 min auf unser Essen. Sehr schade. Die Bedienung war freundlich, wobei man nach so langer Zeit auch mit bestem Willen genervt ist. Das meiste Essen war in Ordnung, nur die Zwiebeln und einige Kartoffeln im Bauernfrühstück waren verbrannt. Eine Frage nach dem Geschmack oder Ähnliches kam nicht. Wir hatten uns darauf gefreut, wurden aber im Gesamteindruck enttäuscht.

Solide Qualität...sehr schmackhaft

Wirklich zuvorkommender Service, Bestellungen gehen rucki zucki. Je nach Küchenauslastung mag das ein oder andere Gericht schneller oder langsamer gehen , wir wurden jedoch bisher nicht enttäuscht und würden immer wieder kommen. Essen war bei uns immer schnell am Tisch und wir konnten immer alle zusammen das Essen genießen. Essen wie bei Mutti, auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert.

Servicepersonal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Nach unserer Bestellung, 3x Eisbein und 1x Leberkäse, wurde uns gesagt, dass das Eisbein mindestens 25 Minuten dauert, unser Essen kam dann nach fast 60 Minuten und dann war es noch nicht mal richtig heiß. Der Leberkäse kam dann ca. 5 Minuten später. Vielleicht hatten wir keinen guten Tag erwischt!?

Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag zu viert zum Mittagessen beim Alpenwirt, Ente oder Gans war hier die Frage. Da die Entscheidung keinem leicht fiel, bestellte eine Hälfte Ente, die andere Gans. Und was soll ich sagen: keiner hat seine Auswahl bereut. Das Essen war lecker, die Keulen so wie früher bei Oma, Klöße und Rotkraut ebenfalls. Das Lokal war voll, aber alles lief wie am Schnürchen, aufmerksame Bedienungen, keine Hektik, eben ein gemütliches und geschmackvolles Weihnachtsessen und auch unser Hund kam nicht zu kurz. Vielen Dank an die Wirtsleute und ihre Helfer in Küche und beim Service. Wir kommen gern wieder …

Silvester 2022 im Restaurant ALPENWIRT Es war ein toller Jahresabschluss in sehr netter Atmosphäre. Das 4-Gänge-Menue war einfach super. Mit Tanz und Tombola verging die Zeit bis zum Jahreswechsel wie im Fluge. Es herrschte eine tolle Stimmung, dank der guten Musikauswahl. Ganz herzlichen Dank an das nette und freundliche Team!

Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Stuhl ist auseinandergefallen beim anheben das sollte nicht sein. Essen und Bedienung waren ok.

Wieder einmal lecker gegessen. Wir kommen seit Jahren her und gehen jedesmal zufrieden nach Hause!

Ich war gestern mit meiner Fußballmannschaft zur Weihnachtsfeier dort, da ich schon seit vielen Jahren ein Guter Freund der Familie bin und immer wieder gerne zum Essen ins Alpenwirt komme. Die Jungs waren begeistert vom Restaurant und allen hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich möchte mich bei Holger und seinem Team für die vergangenen Jahre und den herzlichen Umgang bei jedem Besuch bedanken und freue mich auf die nächsten Jahre im Alpenwirt. LG Kili
