Yesterday, we spontaneously decided to have dinner at the Alpenwirt with 11 people. Although the restaurant was already quite full, they still managed to accommodate us. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. Caprice, in particular, was a wonderful waitress who made everyone smile <3 The food arrived very quickly and was absolutely delicious for all of us. All in all, it was a fantastic evening, and we will definitely be back!

On Sunday, eight of us ate here. It was very busy at lunchtime, so we think making a reservation is a safer bet. I had the solyanka as a starter and the baked pork medallions as a main course. Both were delicious. My other guests were also very happy with their meals. They had sauerbraten, a game platter, pork knuckle, venison roulade, and trout meunière. Many thanks also to the attentive and very friendly service staff. We'll gladly come again.

The catering for our daughter's confirmation was a complete success. The delivery was on time, the buffet looked fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious – all the guests were thrilled. If you're looking for a beautiful and cozy venue for a larger celebration, or simply want to enjoy a good meal, then I can wholeheartedly recommend the Alpenwirt. We celebrated two 60th birthdays there in mid-October, and we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the initial consultation to the end of our celebration, everything was to our complete satisfaction. The food, our beloved German cuisine, is sadly rare in Berlin these days, and we can only say that it was incredibly delicious. As they say, "Home-cooked meals." That sums it up perfectly. Not only was the food superb, but the entire staff is also highly recommended. Many thanks again to the entire Alpenwirt team for this outstanding establishment. We will definitely be back. And even though we stayed longer than the usual two hours, we weren't constantly pressured to order more. We all felt very comfortable there and would gladly return.

It was my first time at the Alpenwirt, based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, but as we all know, tastes differ.

We had a wonderful lunch and such wonderful waitress. We had 2 pork file dishes, very tender and delicious. I had white sausages with sauerkraut, always nice. We also had German Mac& cheese dish with ham and leeks, very creamy and flavorful. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is decorated in keeping with its style and is cozy. The service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. The vegetarian cheese spaetzle wasn't very tasty and not what you'd hope for if you've already enjoyed this dish in the Alps. Based on the taste, I suspect they used ready-made products. You wouldn't expect carrots to be an ingredient in cheese spaetzle – a note on the menu would have been important. The presentation of this simple dish could have been improved with a bit more salad/garnish. A small plant of lamb's lettuce was carelessly placed on the baked cheese. It could definitely have been better – especially for this price! The schnitzel was okay – not a culinary delight, and you'll find it on the menu at numerous other places in Berlin. There's a lot of room for improvement here, too! The drinks were good; I was very pleased with the Almdudler with my meal. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't right here. There are restaurants nearby where you can get more enjoyment at a similar or cheaper price.

I've been walking past it for 20 years and finally went in. I tried four different dishes, and all of them were delicious. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I would like to see more vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu, but it's a definite recommendation for all meat eaters.

Home-style cooking with a delicious meal!

I was there after the funeral with my 18 mourners. The arrangements (via email or phone) with the owner of the "Alpenwirt" in preparation for the event were straightforward, pleasant, and productive. The buffet was exactly as agreed, and all the mourners were very pleased. The staff went out of their way to accommodate those present and were very dedicated. A great job. And with that, many thanks to the entire team for a very dignified end to this sad day.

We went there for dinner after my child's first day at school. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was delicious, and everyone was full. The service was excellent; we didn't have to wait long, and we were always asked for new drinks right away. The staff is very responsive, attentive, and funny. We had the trout (boneless) and the pork fillet strips. It was absolutely delicious and we absolutely loved it. We are thrilled and will definitely be back. Larger groups can also be accommodated, and the tables are beautifully set for special occasions.

A very nice German/Austrian restaurant, stylish and classic. You're greeted by friendly staff and immediately given attention and help in choosing a nice table. The menu is very varied. There's guaranteed to be something for everyone, both in terms of menu and price. The food is very attractively presented and served super quickly, hot, and fresh. I haven't experienced such great service in a long time. And yes, the cuisine is just as top-notch as the service; it tastes simply delicious. The portions are just right. Ultimately, it was a perfect restaurant visit and a very successful lunch for my mother on her 90th birthday. Everything was perfect, which is something you rarely find in restaurants of this caliber. Many thanks to the waitresses and the kitchen. Keep up the good work! We'll be back.

Great staff, amazing food, and better than in Munich. No mass production or over-the-counter processing. We were visiting Berlin and this restaurant was recommended to us. The menu is excellent, with something for everyone. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Excellent value for money. The service was super friendly.

We hold two Christmas parties a year at the Alpenwirt, and have done so for decades with the foundation family of the Railway Social Welfare Association, and all the sponsors have always enjoyed it; otherwise, the foundation wouldn't have been a regular customer for so long. We also enjoy our meals there privately. It's truly delicious, and the service and waitresses are quick-witted and always have a friendly smile on their faces.

I was travelling with 20 high school students in Berlin this June, and I needed to find a place for a group dinner. I stopped in the Alpenwirt and spoke with the owner. He was able to accommodate our group the same day, create a special menu based on our budget, and set aside a private dining area for us. The food was all very good and the service was incredible!!!

Finally, some good German food again. We spontaneously stopped in for dinner today. The service was super friendly and accommodating. We had the pike-perch, the ham hock, and the turkey medallions. Everything was simply so incredibly delicious! We'll definitely be back!

Today, we enjoyed first-class cuisine with good friends before visiting the crime theater. The truly delicious food was accompanied by exceptionally good value for money, as well as a pear schnapps that was already quite generous. Our waiter was a cool guy who was excellent at serving us with humor and, above all, good service. In other words: a definite recommendation!

We orderen liver, snitzel and two rumpsteak. The sodas were without ice. Beer was nice, the redwine really good. But: the steaks were not medium rare, but overcooked. Broccoli and coliflower really over-cooked and quite tasteless, The steaks was not listet with any vegetables, nor did they come with any. The sourcream for the baked potato was more of a cheesecream of some sort (althoug good). The liver was also overcooked, and the onion and apples were undercooked. Mashed potatoes tasted fine. Snitzel was soggy, and really though to chew. All in all: the meal was saved by a really nice waitress.

The waitress was really very nice, unfortunately the food was absolutely nothing. DANGER! On the way home we all even felt sick and had to use the toilet a few times. We had, among other things, the pork knuckle, the pork fillet strips, the roulade and the pepper steak. The pork knuckle was really big, but unfortunately it was so firm and dry that it was almost impossible to cut. The roulade was also very firm and dry, and it also tasted very strongly of game, even though the menu said deer and not deer. Afterwards we saw ONLINE that it could be a deer or deer. There was explicitly only deer on site. The fillet strips were okay and the pepper steak was also a bit very firm and definitely didn't justify the price. The pork knuckle was kindly taken off our bill.
