A very nice German/Austrian restaurant, stylish and classic. You're greeted by friendly staff and immediately given attention and help in choosing a nice table. The menu is very varied. There's guaranteed to be something for everyone, both in terms of menu and price. The food is very attractively presented and served super quickly, hot, and fresh. I haven't experienced such great service in a long time. And yes, the cuisine is just as top-notch as the service; it tastes simply delicious. The portions are just right. Ultimately, it was a perfect restaurant visit and a very successful lunch for my mother on her 90th birthday. Everything was perfect, which is something you rarely find in restaurants of this caliber. Many thanks to the waitresses and the kitchen. Keep up the good work! We'll be back.

100% recommendation!!! I don't understand many of the reviews. Everything is cooked and prepared from scratch here. You can hear that from the chef herself. Great staff, amazing food, and better than in Munich. No mass production or over-the-counter processing. Perfect spot for beer and great food

We hold two Christmas parties a year at the Alpenwirt, and have done so for decades with the foundation family of the Railway Social Welfare Association, and all the sponsors have always enjoyed it; otherwise, the foundation wouldn't have been a regular customer for so long. We also enjoy our meals there privately. It's truly delicious, and the service and waitresses are quick-witted and always have a friendly smile on their faces.

Although the meat cubes could perhaps have been half the size. It would have been more appealing both visually and to the bite. The Sauerbraten was also very, very tasty. I was travelling with 20 high school students in Berlin this June, and I needed to find a place for a group dinner. I stopped in the Alpenwirt and spoke with the owner. He was able to accommodate our group the same day, create a special menu based on our budget, and set aside a private dining area for us. The food was all very good and the service was incredible!!!

Finally, some good German food again. We spontaneously stopped in for dinner today. The service was super friendly and accommodating. We had the pike-perch, the ham hock, and the turkey medallions. Everything was simply so incredibly delicious! We'll definitely be back!

You'll feel welcome as soon as you enter the restaurant – the rustic decor, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service make for a truly memorable visit. The menu is a true paradise for lovers of German cuisine: I opted for a classic Wiener Schnitzel with fried potatoes – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, simply perfect! The selection of regional specialties such as Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), Leberkäse (liver sausage), and, of course, sauerkraut is particularly noteworthy. There's also a fine selection of German beers on tap – my favorite was the Hefeweizen (wheat beer), wonderfully fresh and perfectly tempered. To top it all off, there was apple strudel with vanilla sauce – sweet, warm, and fragrant with cinnamon – it couldn't be better! In conclusion: A culinary mini-vacation into the diversity of German cuisine. Today, we enjoyed first-class cuisine with good friends before visiting the crime theater. The truly delicious food was accompanied by exceptionally good value for money, as well as a pear schnapps that was already quite generous. Our waiter was a cool guy who was excellent at serving us with humor and, above all, good service. In other words: a definite recommendation!

Eight of us dined here on Monday. It was very busy at lunchtime, so we felt it would be safer to make a reservation. I had the solyanks as a starter and gratinated pork medallions for the main course. Both were delicious. My other guests were also very satisfied with their meals. They had sauerbraten, venison pan, pork knuckle, venison roulade, and trout "Müllerin style." Many thanks also to the attentive and very friendly service staff. Despite the extreme volume, they had everything under control and were extremely thoughtful and friendly. We would be happy to come back.

We ate here today and were absolutely thrilled. I had the pork fillet strips, which were incredibly good. We also had the dark beer meat, which we really enjoyed. Changing the side dishes was no problem at all. The service staff is very friendly and efficient. We'd love to come back to this lovely, rustic setting. See you soon!!!!!

We've eaten at the Alpenwirt several times now, whether at Christmas with family, spontaneously with friends, or simply to sip a bowl of soup (which, of course, didn't stop there) 😀. We love German cuisine and we love the food at the Alpenwirt. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to special requests. We look forward to many more enjoyable moments in the restaurant.

The Alpenwirt is a fantastic restaurant! We celebrated our wedding there, and we owe a lot to the entire team! Everything was organized and prepared with passion, and no matter what our wishes were, they tried to accommodate them. The food was simply fantastic, and the service was always prompt and friendly. I would celebrate at the Alpenwirt again and again! We love eating there too. We can truly recommend it, and our guests were all very satisfied and happy.

Very, very good Sauerbraten, very tender texture, appropriately marinated, lovely aroma. Very tasty, by no means thin gravy, pleasantly sour sauerkraut. It would be hard to make it much better. May many people order this!

A great authentic restaurant with great service! We have visited the Alpenwirt several times and have never been disappointed! A cozy atmosphere, centrally located and yet quiet. The service staff speaks for itself - attentive and friendly, you really don't get such good service anymore - not to mention the food. Authentic, down-to-earth cuisine and there is something for everyone! There is a large selection of great dishes, we have eaten a lot from the menu and have never been disappointed! We can only recommend the Alpenwirt from the bottom of our hearts!

We orderen liver, snitzel and two rumpsteak. The sodas were without ice. Beer was nice, the redwine really good. But: the steaks were not medium rare, but overcooked. Broccoli and coliflower really over-cooked and quite tasteless, The steaks was not listet with any vegetables, nor did they come with any. The sourcream for the baked potato was more of a cheesecream of some sort (althoug good). The liver was also overcooked, and the onion and apples were undercooked. Mashed potatoes tasted fine. Snitzel was soggy, and really though to chew. All in all: the meal was saved by a really nice waitress.

It was awesome ! My second time here to confirm my impression of the first time and it's a jackpot. Absolutely no recommendation! I'm really sorry to say this, but I can only recommend people not to eat there. The service was good. The waitress was really very nice, unfortunately the food was absolutely nothing. DANGER! On the way home we all even felt sick and had to use the toilet a few times. We had, among other things, the pork knuckle, the pork fillet strips, the roulade and the pepper steak. The pork knuckle was really big, but unfortunately it was so firm and dry that it was almost impossible to cut. The roulade was also very firm and dry, and it also tasted very strongly of game, even though the menu said deer and not deer. Afterwards we saw ONLINE that it could be a deer or deer. There was explicitly only deer on site. The fillet strips were okay and the pepper steak was also a bit very firm and definitely didn't justify the price. The pork knuckle was kindly taken off our bill.

We were at the alpenwirt today and I have to say it was fantastic! The two pretty waitresses were more than friendly and attentive. The food was very good and sufficient. The alpine schnapps was delicious but we recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy. Happy to come back!

Last night I ate at Alpenwirt, a restaurant that I have enjoyed visiting occasionally. Unfortunately it was my last visit. I really appreciated the food and the friendliness of the staff. However, when I was creating the invoice, I noticed that two schnapps (for €4) were charged instead of one (for €2), even though I had only ordered one. When I pointed this out, the waitress showed me that at the end of the menu it said something like: "The schnapps are served double (4cl)", and said that I should have specifically said that I only wanted one (2cl). However, the prices on the previous page were for 2cl. I don't know if this is a new rule because yesterday was the first time I ordered a liquor. Ok, you could say: "It's your own fault if you didn't read the menu to the end". However, I find such tricks to collect a few euros more questionable and really not customer-friendly. Because of €2 they lost a customer who would have otherwise happily come back and contributed a lot more money. Too bad!

Bavaria in Berlin - it can work well, but it doesn't have to. In this case it's hard at the limit. The staff is without a doubt terrific, but unfortunately the food is not. It just happens too quickly to be freshly prepared, and then it turns out that many of the ingredients are simply canned. You can hardly complain about the taste, but many Bavarians in Berlin can simply do it better.

I ate a schnitzel with fried potatoes and hollondaise sauce and all I can say is: it was great and delicious 😋. The portion was great and it really filled you up! The young woman in service was very friendly and occasionally asked if everything was okay. Keep it up, you'll feel good!!! The ambience is comfortable and cozy. All in all, a restaurant that I would like to warmly recommend. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the Alpenwirt!!!!

If you like good home-style food, you should avoid this place… Our lunch today:  two barely seasoned, dry medallions with canned mushrooms in ready-made sauce and frozen croquettes for €21.90;  a roughly 2.5 cm thick, breaded piece of meat dripping with fat with frozen creamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower) for €19.30. Unfortunately, even worse than this overpriced canteen food is the unmotivated and “stuffy” staff. Here you are actually loudly accused of preferring pressed meat if you expect a thinly sliced, tender and crispy schnitzel instead of the thick, breaded, fat-dripping meat served. We have visited the Alpenwirt several times and also held family celebrations. Quality and service have declined over time and, according to today's experience, have reached substandard levels. We definitely won't be coming here again...

In October 2024 we celebrated my 70th birthday with 44 people in the “Alpenwirt”. The innkeeper gave us the best advice when planning the event, so the celebration was a great success. The buffet (German cuisine) was very tasty, with the warm portion being served by two chefs. The entire team gave us a warm welcome. The service was extremely attentive and quick. The selection of drinks was sufficiently large; When it came to (alcoholic) beer, you could choose between a (German) Pilsner, a Czech black beer and an “Alpine beer” (Allgäuer Büble). Thank you for the great atmosphere - we'll be happy to come back.

Nice atmosphere in the centrally located and easily accessible restaurant. Service was very good and friendly. Unfortunately, negative points when it came to the food - one dish arrived significantly late, while the rest of the guests had to start eating, otherwise the other dishes would have gotten cold. The boiled/fried (?) green beans were very disappointing; they tasted bland because they obviously weren't seasoned or salted. Furthermore, the rump steak was lukewarm to almost cold. All other dishes were very good. Too bad. Nevertheless, we can rate the price-performance ratio positively.

Mein erster (und letzter) Besuch in diesem Haus war einfach nur unerfreulich. Wir wollten ein Glas Wein trinken und dabei mit den Wirt über das Ausrichten einer Trauerfeier sprechen. Bis dahin sind wir erst gar nicht gekommen. Weil ich mich vom Weinangebot (Müller-Thurgau und Spätburgunder) nicht begeistert gezeigt habe, sprach der Wirt zunächst gut hörbar mit sich selbst: "Das kann ja was werden". Auf meine Frage, warum er denn so schnippisch wäre, wurde mir empfohlen, dann eben ein Bier zu trinken. Das hört sich alles nicht aufregend an, aber wie immer macht der Ton die Musik und dieser war unangemessen und übergriffig. Also lieber etwas anderes suchen - der Mann hats nicht verdient.
