We were at the alpenwirt today and I have to say it was fantastic! The two pretty waitresses were more than friendly and attentive. The food was very good and sufficient. The alpine schnapps was delicious but we recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy. Happy to come back!

We ate here today and were absolutely thrilled. I had the pork fillet strips, which were incredibly good. We also had the dark beer roast, which we really enjoyed. Changing the side dishes was no problem at all. The service staff is very friendly and efficient. We'd love to come back to this lovely, rustic setting. See you soon!

Last night I ate at Alpenwirt, a restaurant that I have enjoyed visiting occasionally. Unfortunately it was my last visit. I really appreciated the food and the friendliness of the staff. However, when I was creating the invoice, I noticed that two schnapps (for €4) were charged instead of one (for €2), even though I had only ordered one. When I pointed this out, the waitress showed me that at the end of the menu it said something like: "The schnapps are served double (4cl)", and said that I should have specifically said that I only wanted one (2cl). However, the prices on the previous page were for 2cl. I don't know if this is a new rule because yesterday was the first time I ordered a liquor. Ok, you could say: "It's your own fault if you didn't read the menu to the end". However, I find such tricks to collect a few euros more questionable and really not customer-friendly. Because of €2 they lost a customer who would have otherwise happily come back and contributed a lot more money. Too bad!

Bavaria in Berlin - it can work well, but it doesn't have to. In this case it's hard at the limit. The staff is without a doubt terrific, but unfortunately the food is not. It just happens too quickly to be freshly prepared, and then it turns out that many of the ingredients are simply canned. You can hardly complain about the taste, but many Bavarians in Berlin can simply do it better.

Very nice restaurant.. Service very friendly and accommodating..If you love German food, this is the right place because it tastes excellent and you can tell that they cook it themselves.. Definitely recommend you and would of course be happy to come back ourselves..

We were at the Alpenwirt today with a small gathering of friends and had a great time. From today on there was the Easter menu. The lamb shank was super tender and my husband found it very tasty. I myself had the eggnog schnitzel, which was really a poem. I have never tasted anything like this before and it was very tender. We can only recommend this restaurant again and again because of the very good price-performance ratio, the very friendly and attentive service and the very noticeable cleanliness, including in the sanitary area.

The goulash soup is cold, the kale tastes chemical, the fried potatoes are rather mushy, the service is unfriendly and inattentive. It wasn't that nice.

I ate a schnitzel with fried potatoes and hollondaise sauce and all I can say is: it was great and delicious 😋. The portion was great and it really filled you up! The young woman in service was very friendly and occasionally asked if everything was okay. Keep it up, you'll feel good!!! The ambience is comfortable and cozy. All in all, a restaurant that I would like to warmly recommend. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the Alpenwirt!!!!

If you like good home-style food, you should avoid this place… Our lunch today:  two barely seasoned, dry medallions with canned mushrooms in ready-made sauce and frozen croquettes for €21.90;  a roughly 2.5 cm thick, breaded piece of meat dripping with fat with frozen creamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower) for €19.30. Unfortunately, even worse than this overpriced canteen food is the unmotivated and “stuffy” staff. Here you are actually loudly accused of preferring pressed meat if you expect a thinly sliced, tender and crispy schnitzel instead of the thick, breaded, fat-dripping meat served. We have visited the Alpenwirt several times and also held family celebrations. Quality and service have declined over time and, according to today's experience, have reached substandard levels. We definitely won't be coming here again...

In October 2024 we celebrated my 70th birthday with 44 people in the “Alpenwirt”. The innkeeper gave us the best advice when planning the event, so the celebration was a great success. The buffet (German cuisine) was very tasty, with the warm portion being served by two chefs. The entire team gave us a warm welcome. The service was extremely attentive and quick. The selection of drinks was sufficiently large; When it came to (alcoholic) beer, you could choose between a (German) Pilsner, a Czech black beer and an “Alpine beer” (Allgäuer Büble). Thank you for the great atmosphere - we'll be happy to come back.

Nice atmosphere in the centrally located and easily accessible restaurant. Service was very good and friendly. Unfortunately, negative points when it came to the food - one dish arrived significantly late, while the rest of the guests had to start eating, otherwise the other dishes would have gotten cold. The boiled/fried (?) green beans were very disappointing; they tasted bland because they obviously weren't seasoned or salted. Furthermore, the rump steak was lukewarm to almost cold. All other dishes were very good. Too bad. Nevertheless, we can rate the price-performance ratio positively.

Mein erster (und letzter) Besuch in diesem Haus war einfach nur unerfreulich. Wir wollten ein Glas Wein trinken und dabei mit den Wirt über das Ausrichten einer Trauerfeier sprechen. Bis dahin sind wir erst gar nicht gekommen. Weil ich mich vom Weinangebot (Müller-Thurgau und Spätburgunder) nicht begeistert gezeigt habe, sprach der Wirt zunächst gut hörbar mit sich selbst: "Das kann ja was werden". Auf meine Frage, warum er denn so schnippisch wäre, wurde mir empfohlen, dann eben ein Bier zu trinken. Das hört sich alles nicht aufregend an, aber wie immer macht der Ton die Musik und dieser war unangemessen und übergriffig. Also lieber etwas anderes suchen - der Mann hats nicht verdient.

As the operator of a small holiday resort, we regularly test different restaurants in order to be able to give our guests the best recommendations. The Alpenwirt in Berlin, run by the Baaske family, particularly impressed us. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant, and the great location and appealing ambience immediately created a relaxed atmosphere. The friendly staff also helps you feel completely comfortable. The choice of food is excellent: an upscale selection of German cuisine as well as Alpine specialties. The originally designed menu offers both traditional and creative dishes that impress both visually and tastefully. Be sure to try the venison roulade or the sauerbraten. Even a vegetarian like me can find a great selection and tasty dishes here! What struck us particularly positively was the excellent price-performance ratio. The price is always right and reflects the high quality of the food and service. Our conclusion: There are only a few restaurants like this left. You can feel the joy and dedication of the Baaske family in every detail. The Alpenwirt can definitely be recommended – a real highlight in Berlin! We like to give 5 stars.

We have known the restaurant for a long time. 25 years. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as usual. Red cabbage tasted like nothing. Rump steak was gristly. The sauce for the sauerbraten tasted very artificial. Too bad. Waiter was very nice.

It's says it's open but the Kitchen closes at 8pm when mostly people are also going to eat. That doesn't make any sense... I only went there one time but the last three times I couldn't achieve to eat before the kitchen is closed.

Went to the Alpenwirt at 8:45 p.m. As always we were not disappointed. This time we had the sauerbraten and the pepper steak. The sauerbraten was very tender and tasty. I particularly enjoyed my pepper steak. I had never eaten this anywhere before. The sauce that came with it was absolutely delicious. Overall, you can tell that people still cook here themselves. We like to come back again and again.

For the first time at the Alpenwirt and unfortunately disappointed. The pretty good ambience is not enough for a successful lunchtime stay. Food and drink: As usual everywhere, the prices are rather high. You can adjust to that. Not a big problem. We were there for lunch in 2024 as part of two city tours with 50 Spandau seniors each. All dishes were well received. There were no complaints whatsoever. The service staff was friendly, attentive and quick. The prices for the meals gave no cause for complaint. We would like to thank the service staff and of course (!) the friendly, accommodating host. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back.

I ordered Wiener Schnitzel from Alpenwirt for the second time for my birthday party. It was once again extremely tasty. The schnitzels come in these catering bowls where they can be kept warm, which is a little show in itself and is always well received by the guests. Once again I received compliments from everyone on the delicious schnitzels and I would like to pass on the compliment to the great cuisine at Alpenwirt. By the way, very accommodating boss and very reasonable prices.

Insanely delicious food from Bavaria. I had the goose leg and my friend had the sauerbraten. Both 1A. Initially there were difficulties finding space for my friend Marco, who has walking difficulties, but the staff found a solution. Thank you very much!

We were at the Alpenwirt with a large group (45 people). We had very nice contact with the landlord beforehand. The pre-orders went smoothly and the food was served quickly in the evening. The host and the staff were very nice and accommodating. If you like Bavarian beer and a rustic atmosphere, Alpenwirt is the right place for you!

The food was very tasty, huge selection. But ordering takes a long time. Ambience very nice.

The ambience is easily trumped by the very nice service and the really good food. I was particularly impressed by the Lower Bavarian cucumber salad (well seasoned) and the fried potatoes.

Here we have a very down-to-earth restaurant with good local cuisine. We were there in a large group (10 people) and everyone was very satisfied with the food they ordered. The vegetables were fresh, the meat was on point, even though all the plates came to the table at the same time. The portions are quite large, so you will definitely be able to eat. The prices are reasonable for the portions, perhaps even rather cheap. Since this is a restaurant that specializes in hearty home cooking, the menu naturally predominantly contains meat dishes. But you can still find a small selection of vegetarian dishes, which were also very large and tasty (see pictures). The service was also extremely friendly, pleasantly reserved, but always attentive and present. So if you're looking for good local cuisine, in a nice atmosphere and pleasant service, you'll definitely get your money's worth here.

Good food and friendly service, you can't go wrong if you want to go out for a nice meal. And if a celebration (birthday, etc.) is coming up, you can trustfully turn to the host couple, who will make the celebration an experience.
