We ate very tasty schnitzels in the April restaurant and were served by two friendly service employees. There was also good, cold draft beer and a pleasant atmosphere. It wasn't a problem to stay there longer than the reserved time slot of 1.5 hours.

Despite the move, the address retains all its charm: the warmth of its decoration, the quality of its dishes but above all the welcome of its staff. During each of our trips to Berlin, April is a must!

Wonderful place to meet friends and family. Every time I visit Berlin, I make it my business to stop in for breakfast. I knew the place in its former life as Lenzig.

Very unfriendly service, you are not welcome there with a stroller.

There were four of us and it was our first time in the April restaurant and we were completely thrilled. The ambience was extremely pleasant - a perfect mix of comfort and style. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive and quick. I had the risotto which was simply fantastic – perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The wine list also left nothing to be desired, it was extremely extensive and offered something to suit every taste. Overall, a wonderful evening with excellent cuisine and great service. We would definitely like to come back!

I still know the shop from Winterfeldtstrasse. The new restaurant has lost nothing to the quality of the food. The breakfast options have changed slightly, which I personally really like. The basis has remained. I actually like the atmosphere in the restaurant better than before. A difference between a person behind the counter and a service person bothered me and found you inappropriate. I would love to come back and am happy that April is still there.

The food is all salty and expensive. The restaurant is very noisy, there has been no renovation for a long time - the chairs are old and dirty, the paint has fallen off the walls, the chandeliers are crooked. The menu is old and dirty. I'll never come again.

The new APRIL! I loved APRIL until it had to close due to new homeowners. Thank God the operating family has a second restaurant, LENZIG. Now APRIL has moved into LENZIG and if you look closely you will immediately recognize the individual handwriting. Glad you still exist! 😍 The perfect place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately not recommended. We made reservations for 3 people via Google (and received confirmation), one person got sick. I called 3 days in advance to unregister the 3rd person, I was told my reservation wasn't in the system, they often have it on Google. The very nice person I spoke to said, no problem, and we made a new reservation half an hour later. When we arrived for this appointment, another gentleman shouted at us that we were late. We were supposed to sit at a table right by the door, it was also really loud. We politely declined, were warmly welcomed at a restaurant in the immediate vicinity and ate and drank very well.

Yesterday I was a bit confused as to why the former Lenzig restaurant is now called "april". The old restaurant "april" at Winterfeldstrasse 56 in Berlin-Schöneberg had to close due to high rents and has now moved to Eisenacher Strasse 75 in Berlin-Schöneberg. The food (duck with dumplings and red cabbage) was still very tasty. I definitely recommend making a reservation, the restaurant was packed on Tuesday evening in December.

We rarely had anything to complain about and the price-performance ratio was right. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff very friendly and attentive. Be sure to come without a car. A little too crowded in the evening. Favorite: Wiener Schnitzel.

As a non-Berliner, I only go 3-4 times a year in April, but that has been the case for 30 years. It was nice to have had the French waiter to say goodbye today. He just said "No - see you in spring" what a nice person. Take good care of him and everyone else you care about!

Were loyal guests for many years and were there often. It's closing soon. We won't miss it. The service is now terribly unfriendly and inflexible. It's certainly not easy to find good staff, but the people there are now so bossy and listless at work that the good food doesn't make up for it. As expensive as going to a restaurant is now, I expect to be treated just as kindly as I try to treat my fellow human beings with respect.

We were guests yesterday. It's a nice atmosphere. Our food requests were responded to in an extremely inflexible manner. Carrot puree as an additional side dish is not possible because it would then be missing from another dish. There were no various extra vegetables (also grilled). When asked, they said they didn't have any grilled eggplant. It seems as if the food is delivered or pre-prepared. Kind of weird The first dishes had already been cleared away while others were still eating. I think it's part of etiquette now. Apparently not.

We went to Lenzig for breakfast and had a nice selection of different dishes. We were served in a very friendly and attentive manner, the breakfast was visually very appealing and the food served was all fresh, very tasty and rich. We found the price-performance ratio to be absolutely reasonable. The only annoying thing was that our table on the terrace wobbled a lot when someone walked past it - we had to be careful that the coffee didn't spill over. Otherwise, we will definitely go there again soon for breakfast.

We came here to eat and drink on a warm spring day. The Caribbean fish soup tastes mainly of yellow curry powder, i.e. what you can buy in the shaker, a bit of coconut and a bit of fish. A strong fish stock and perhaps a better curry would enhance the dish. The tarte flambée was good, but ordinary and the price-performance ratio was unfortunately subpar. €15.50 for a small tarte flambée is significantly more expensive than in many other restaurants (even the Renger-Patzsch is cheaper). But that applies to all dishes, even the medium-sized fish soup with three shrimps and four pieces of fish is, in my opinion, far too expensive at €15.50. At least there was some bread with it, but I was still hungry afterwards. The wines were all great, the beer was good, but surprisingly expensive at over €6.80 per half liter (0.4l for €5.5). But the fruit spritzer also costs an impressive €5.90 per 0.5l. The location, especially the terrace, is great and very comfortable. The service was friendly and quite quick in a professional manner. Unfortunately, this doesn't compensate for the poor price-performance ratio, so we won't be visiting the restaurant again.

We celebrated our brunch after our civil wedding at Restaurant Lenzig and it was simply perfect. The service team was incredibly professional and looked after us wonderfully. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambience was just right for our special day. We would definitely like to come back and highly recommend Lenzig!

A carafe of tap water in the restaurant costs 2.90 euros. So-called “service fee”!!! Apple spritzer (0.5 liters) 6.90 euros! A small water 3.30 euros. Breaded pork schnitzel "Viennese style" 24.90 euros, a hamburger with fries 19.90 euros. The service was good, but the bitter aftertaste of the outrageous prices cannot be made up for. I hope the owner pays 2.90 euros for tap water or 6.90 euros for apple spritzer. If you go, it's your own fault. Arrivederci and never again.

we visited Lenzig on a sunny Sunday. We sat outside beautifully, quiet, hardly any traffic, good service, relatively good selection at breakfast, salads and also standard dishes for brunch. There is something for every taste including vegetarian and vegan.

Very nice brunch place in a relaxing surrounding. Prices are reasonable for the area and the quality of the food matches them. Service was friendly, attentive, and their menu is also available in English. It just feels like they have too little people for such a big place, but honestly this was not a problem. I recommend the Interessante Mischung brunch menu!

We had a superb dinner here. Surpassed expectations. Everything was excellent. The meatballs we had were wonderful. The chicken dish was very good. At lunchtime the selection is rather poor and very expensive. The food is really beautifully presented. It's probably better if you don't go there until the evening. We were kind of disappointed because of the lunch menu.

Be careful when making reservations in Lenzig!! Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed at Lenzig for a family celebration. Months ago we made reservations for a group of 18 people in the restaurant, first in writing and then in person, and then discussed the menu over the phone. Everything was resolved. Yesterday we received an online cancellation, around two weeks before the family celebration. When we asked, we were told that the reservation was not valid because the boss had not personally approved it. Now it is reserved for another group and there is nothing more that can be done. Now we are about to have a family celebration without a restaurant.

I was in Lenzig for the first time about 10 years ago and have loved coming here ever since. I haven't had a single bad experience there: the food and wine are always delicious. Lenzig is one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. I love breakfast. It has names like “strong appearance” or “Italy is the main thing”. Hard decision!

Well-prepared food. Excellent quality. Pleasant and attentive service. Smoothly working reservation system. Near U-Bahn station. Recommended.

We were there for breakfast and it was very tasty and sufficient. The service was also really nice and attentive. The only thing I found very bad, unfortunately, was the changing facilities for our child. There was also a sign on the toilet, which was supposed to be for wheelchair users, indicating a changing table. The toilet was more of a storage room for all sorts of cleaning supplies. There was neither a changing facility nor was the room large enough for a wheelchair. Unfortunately I had to change diapers on the floor. I don't know if there was a changing facility in the women's restroom, but if there is a sign there should be one in the room. It would be nice if the restaurant upgraded.

Things have changed for the better. I haven't been there for several years because the service was poor back then. Now it looks different, I was here for breakfast: more staff, everyone was very friendly, good food, quickly served at a manageable price. Highly recommended & would be happy again. UPDATE 02/28/24: Unfortunately the schnitzel wasn't as I imagined it would be - potato salad was fridge cold, the schnitzel on top was just warm, the plate wasn't preheated. It is better to preheat the plate, serve the side salad separately, with the schnitzel and potato salad next to each other on the plate.

We ate at Lenzig again after a long time. The food is still delicious, but the prices are no longer right. Particularly annoying: 0.2 liters of wine became 0.15 liters. For €6.90. That means €9.20 for 0.2 liters. The catering industry is really exaggerating at the moment. The general prices are falling, only there are things going up. And then this nonsense with the 0.15 liters. Then you lose the desire to come. I find it very annoying.

It's a shame - on our last visit the waiter ignored us despite our seventh, and the vase we requested came after a good 20 minutes. The coffee ordered for breakfast came much later. By the way, the restaurant wasn't full. There were only 2 types of cheese on the plate instead of the 3 listed on the menu. After complaining, the third variety was brought to me, but I had to request this separately for my husband, who had the same breakfast. Lt. To the waiter, this was a gesture of goodwill; we would have received more Gouda slices (originally individually packaged, which was easy to see). When we commented that we had been coming to Lenzig for over 10 years with different numbers of people, he replied that we had been somewhere else. I replied that this would be a rather cheeky remark. 'You're cheeky' was his reply, which fortunately I only found out about from my companion afterwards. Well, it's a shame, we'll probably look for a new restaurant for family and friends to have breakfast together - never again in Lenzig

I celebrated my birthday with 6 friends on Sunday February 11th. We were there at 11:30 a.m. for breakfast, the food was excellent!!! What I would particularly like to emphasize is the competent and very attentive service. The boys were not only friendly but also not pushy, as if they could read minds. I come from the industry and really appreciate good service!!! Thanks for the great afternoon!!!!

Been there several times. Always delicious. Evening and lunchtime. Small menu, but always fresh and good. I would say typically Schöneberg. Not typically German. So if you're looking for something "down-to-earth" in the best sense of the word, you've come to the right place.

With 10 people you don't get breakfast. But a brunch for €20 per person without drinks. It was explained to us that everything that belongs to breakfast is put on the board. We got scrambled eggs, salmon, cooked ham, raw ham, sliced ​​cheese, 2 or 3 very small bowls of cream cheese and chicken salad as well as bread, butter and jam. There was no fruit, no yoghurt or muesli and when we asked what else would be served here we were told: scrambled eggs, bread and butter. Then the waitress (who served very friendly and professionally) came with a small plate of salmon. Since many of us are restaurateurs, we thought it was outrageous what we were served here for the price. Tip: Be careful, if you want to have breakfast there with several people, then don't accept the suggestion to order brunch instead of breakfast. Unless the management checks the price/performance again.

It has never happened to me in a restaurant that a waiter rudely told me that I didn't tip enough. You don't do that as a waiter. He didn't say thank you for the additional tip that followed. Beim Nachtisch musste ich den Cookie mit Eis fast zurückgeben, da er nach dem Schöneberger fast zu mächtig war. Als Dessert vielleicht ein wenig kleiner in Zukunft gestalten. Aufmerksamer Service. Gerne wieder.

Super fruehstueck tolle Lokalität und super Service immer wieder

Schon so oft dort gewesen. Es ist wohl das schönste Fleckchen in Berlin Schöneberg. Der Service ist super aufmerksam, die Auswahl an Essen ist wirklich toll und man kann sowohl super Abendessen als auch frühstücken. Für uns ist es jedes Mal ein Besuch wert!

Die zwei Croissants auf der Frühstückskarte sind die besten die ich jemals serviert bekommen habe, da sie sehr schön heiß waren und mit zwei kalten hausgemachten Marmeladensorten serviert wurden. Die heiße Schokolade mit Sahne war auch extrem lecker. Das Ambiente ist ebenso wunderschön. Diese Lokal ist auf jeden Fall ein Besuch Wert!
