Eating like mom used to make: Delicious and appetizing food at reasonable prices, several types of beer (and draft beer!) on tap, and exceptionally friendly and attentive service (thanks to Cheryl, Verena, Marcel, Felix, and all the others)! It's also very cozy. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
If you are in a lookout for famous varieties of different German sausages, this is the place to be. They offer it in many different side dishes. The size is enough for a serving.
We went specifically for a dish, which we discovered was no longer offered, since the online menu is apparently 6 years old.
Nevertheless we chose to stay since we were already hungry. The food was OK but nothing more.
It was really awesome, cool food and huge portions. So if you're really hungry you'll get enough. I can only recommend it, especially the service was very nice and friendly!
The service is very friendly and quick. The food tastes very good, is attractively prepared and has a good portion. I had the crusty roast. It was very good, the sauce was very tasty. My husband had cabbage roulade and was a little unhappy because the minced meat, which tasted good, was not wrapped in white cabbage but in savoy cabbage.
We had dinner here yesterday. As always, it was delicious and beautifully presented. We opted for Sauerbraten (sauerbraten) and veal liver. The meat was very tender, and the side dishes were also very tasty. Beforehand, we had bread and a delicious spread on the house. The service was very friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. The rooms are all very clean, including the restrooms, and the view of the Römer is simply beautiful. Whenever we're in Frankfurt, we would love to stop here again. It's highly recommended in every respect.
Four waiters were very inattentive. Suddenly, there were 12 glasses on the table for five people. New beer was brought but not cleared, nor were the plates. We waited 45 minutes for Metthappen (a piece of meat), Cologne caviar, and the place wasn't full.
We went again. Service was good, but the price for a Röggelchen (small roll with Mett) was a bit excessive. It was a mini Röggelchen (small roll with Mett), and maybe 50g of Mett. Maximum material used: €1.20! PRICE €8.60!!!!!!
We had a magical and culinary unforgettable evening at Brodersen. The service was excellent from the moment we greeted us to the moment we left. The food was of an extremely high standard, and my boyfriend and I both agree: in terms of value for money, the menu simply can't be topped! We were absolutely thrilled. Especially with the kitchen's creations. Simply a dream.
Next time we're in Hamburg, we'll definitely come back!
Thank you for this wonderful evening, and see you next time.
We were there in the evening. The quality of the dishes (mutzbraten / ox cheeks) were good to very good in terms of taste. The portions were ok. Unfortunately, the side salad was not served and there could have been a little more sauce. The drink prices are annoying. A 0.4 liter draft beer costs 5.50! That's way too expensive. The food prices are also a bit too high. 65 euros for two main courses with 2 glasses of wine and 1 beer. The service is tough but warm. The ambience is quite simple.
