The Weyers at Ludwigkirchplatz has been around for a long time. It is not only a popular meeting place for Kietz residents in summer. Lunch is highly recommended. Varied, tasty dishes with a very good price-performance ratio. Always my pleasure.

We were here on Christmas Day and had an incredibly good leg of goose. Really quite outstanding. The service was attentive and without exception friendly.

The food is delicious and the waiters are friendly. It's a little expensive, but it's still really delicious. It was my first time eating schnitzel, but did you top it with cherry gems? It suits me really well.

Really good quality. The place is also really nice. The service was very friendly. However, the reason I only give it three stars is because of the prices. It was never cheap, which was okay considering the quality. However, in my opinion it is now too expensive.

Je connais ce restaurant depuis au moins 15 ans, et j’y reviens toujours avec plaisir lors de tous mes séjours à Berlin. Le personnel se renouvelle, mais l’accueil est toujours le même: chaleureux, beaucoup d’habitués, et la table très bonne. Je recommande!

Excellent as usual. I had one of the house specials, the rump steak which was better than many (so-called?) filet steaks I have been expensively served in the UK. Tender throughout and not a gramme of fat to be seen. Just perfect. My wife had another house special, the Wienerschnitzel. Again faultless : a plateful of thin tenderness. I have never bothered to praise Weyers before, but I should have done. We have been there many times and never been disappointed.

We went there without a reservation. Since it wasn't that late, we got a nice table. Everyone was very nice and the food was very tasty. It was perfect. We were glad we stopped there.

Home-style family restaurant that has seen better days…

oh yes, the Weyers. We come because we know it and are very satisfied every time because all our expectations are met, good, friendly service and good food that fills you up and is worth the money. The kitchen is always worth the money. I don't want to advise too many people to come here because places are always scarce, so it's a nice destination.

This restaurant was recommended to me and it did not disappoint. I ordered beef roulade with potatoes and red cabbage. Was very tasty. If I'm in Berlin again, I would like to visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately not recommended. Far too expensive, no quality food or drinks. The Aperol Sprizz felt like it had no Aperol, the glass was 2/3 full, the salad cost over €20!!! With three small pieces of chicken. How can you want to come back here as a guest?!

Great restaurant with a terrace, good food and great service

We love this café because it's conveniently close to the playground for our children. During our visit, we ordered the cheese platter, a chai latte, and potato soup, and found the food quite good. However, the server seemed upset that we ordered so little for a family of four, even though the café wasn't crowded and we weren't taking up much space. Additionally, she wasn’t very kind to our children, which was disappointing given how much we like the location. This café has great potential to attract families, and we hope the staff will be more welcoming on our next visit. We love this cafe because it is conveniently located near the playground for our children. During our visit we ordered the cheese plate, a chai latte and potato soup and found the food to be pretty good. Unfortunately, the waitress seemed annoyed that we ordered so little for a family of four, even though the cafe wasn't crowded and we didn't take up much space. Additionally, she wasn't very friendly with our children, which was disappointing since we like the location so much. This cafe has great potential to attract families and we hope the staff will be friendlier on our next visit.

The food was great. The staffs were very friendly to tourists and they provided English menu. We met two very friendly Germans there too who recommended us to try some classic German dishes and beer. We had a very good time there.

No longer recommended since the new takeover. A table was personally reserved for the birthday of a lady over 80 years old and even confirmed personally the day before. The following day, the day of the reservation, it was suddenly claimed that the table had already been reserved for someone else - but it remained free throughout the entire visit! Overall, the staff wasn't very courteous or attentive. One waitress even managed to bring a coffee, even after asking several times, about half an hour later. This means you have lost more regular customers. Never again.

Nice outdoor area, friendly service, delicious food

We were there on a Monday and I was the only one who ordered zander. It was a very small piece and unfortunately completely solid and dry and the skin could hardly be cut so tough and tight. An absolute disappointment at this price level! Actually, I should have sent the food back, but when you're there with friends, you don't want to ruin the evening for everyone else. Positively, the service was very friendly and quick. The others' food was ok, although the mustard in the potato salad tasted a bit strong! If the food doesn't get better, the restaurant is no longer recommended!

I was at Weyers for the first time today to pass the time that the dear offspring spends doing sports. I treated myself to the redfish fillet and a light one. It was very delicious. Still reasonably priced. The service was prompt, very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. I felt like I was treated like a regular guest. I'll definitely come back!

Tuvimos el Wiener Schnitzel en este restaurante por segunda vez en dos años, y este martes por la noche nos quedamos tan impresionados como la primera vez. Teóricamente es Wiener Schnitzel un plato sencillo de hacer, pero el resultado puede ser muy diferente dependiendo del uso de la carne y cómo se cocina. Aquí tendrás dos schnitzels perfectamente cocidos y una porción de ensalada de patatas tibias. Eso es todo. Siempre bebo cerveza por el schnitzel de salchicha y Weyers tiene más marcas entre las que elegir. Personal amable y atento.

Food was good, but expensive for what was offered. Service weak. Knife too dull for asparagus. (!) When the temperatures are higher, the places outside are nice. (We were still sitting inside.)

Great restoran to explore modern ways of making and serving traditional german food

A nice restaurant where you can sit outside if the weather is suitable. There are fewer seats outside than inside. The staff is very attentive without being annoying. The toilet in the basement can only be reached by stairs. There are a few vegetarian dishes. The The dishes we ate (Wiener Schnitzel, vegetarian gnocchi, beef roulade) were lavish. The price level is a little higher, but not excessive. We would be happy to come back

Das Weyers ist seit Jahren eine super Location für Frühstück und Mittagessen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist immer sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten bislang noch nicht einmal pech :-) Wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Jens & der Rolli Fahrer mit Freunden :-)

Quite pricey (≈25€ main dishes). Food is okay. Also not for vegetarians with only 2 vegetarian options.

We were back in the restaurant. It's a big disappointment. One table is very close to the other, it's so narrow. We ordered a steak and fish. Meat was tough, fish didn't taste that good. Portions are very small and expensive. When we showed attention about the food, we were offered coffee, but only one cup, even though there were two of us. A shame!!!!

The Weyers restaurant is known throughout Berlin for its cuisine. Here you can only find delicious dishes, whether roulades or delicious white fish crème brulee and delicious, well-kept drinks. It's worth a visit

Einfach ein perfekter Ort und wunderbares Restaurant um wirklich angenehm und gut zu speisen. Ein kleines Juwel unter den Berliner Restaurant. Top Essen, selten so gut gegessen!

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir sassen als Gruppe hinten zusammen an zwei großen Tischen und wurden zusammenhängend bedient. Die Gändekeule mit Klössen und Rot- und Grünkohl war sehr lecker! Ein sehr schöner Abend. Danke!

Gänsebraten war Mega, richtig viel Fleisch dran und dazu eine tolle Sauce bekommen (mussten einfach Sauce nachbestellen). 😅

Das Restaurant ist mir bestens bekannt , Stehts schmackhaftes Essen & freundliche Bedienung . Heute 6.12. hatte ich mich auf die 1/2 Landente gefreut, mit der ich allerdings kämpfen musste , „Sie“ wollte absolut nicht zerkleinert werden ….war eigentlich von hause aus nicht viel dran ….eher ein Gerippe. Und was an Fleisch dran war konnte man sehr schwer abschneiden und schon garnicht zerkauen , da fest und faserig. Aus Mangel an Zeit hatte ich es nicht gleich reklamiert . Der Vogel hatte den Kampf also gewonnenn… eine Hälfte blieb zurück, der Rest hing in den Zähnen . .Klöße ,Grünkohl & Sauce waren ok und haben mir zu einem Sättigungsgefühl verholfen . Traurig hab ich das Lokal verlassen , da es auch niemanden der Belegschaft interessierte , wobei die Kellnerin mir schon ihr ‚Mitleid‘ bekundete . Für 25.00€ habe ich eine sehr gute Qualität erwartet !!!! In der Hoffnung auf Besserung … Freundliche Grüße, Sabine Zilling ,

So muss Gastro sein: gemütliches Ambiente, freundlicher Service, leckere Speisen (mit grossen Portionen) und faire Preise. Eine XXL Portion knusprige Gans mit Beilagen für sehr faire 28 EUR. Und ein gut passender trockener französischer Rosé für bezahlbare 27 EUR die Flasche. Da kommen wir gern ganz bald wieder!

Wir hatten nicht reserviert. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter führten uns zu einem Tisch und fragten ob dieser uns recht sei. Perfekt. Wir bestellten jeweils ein Wiener Schnitzel und waren mehr als begeistert über die Qualität und Geschmack. Die besonders aufmerksame Bedienung erkundigte sich ob wir mit dem Essen zufrieden sind. Unser Lob wurde sogleich an die Küche weitergegeben. In diesem Restaurant fühlt man sich als Gast Willkommen geheißen und sehr gut bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Abendessen zu dritt. Charmanter Service, angenehmer Abstand der Tische, freundliches Ambiente. Wir hatten einen sehr aromatischen gebratenen Lachs, super Maultaschen und ein gutes Wiener Schnitzel. Die Weinauswahl (offen 0,2 und 0,1l) gefiel uns, aber auch Bier im Angebot. Kommt auf unsere „Berlin-Wilmersdorf-Liste“.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants bisher wegen des professionellen freundlichen Personals, des guten Essens und der angenehmen Atmosphäre. Leider ging zuletzt die überall übliche Preiserhöhung mit einem genervten Personal mit ruppigem Umgangston einher. Auch das Essen war nicht mehr wie gewohnt gut. Schade.

Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das „Schaumsüppchen vom Roten Thaicurry“ war eine dicke Creme, von Schaum keine Spur und kurz vor versalzen. Konnte ich nicht aufessen. Nette Geste vom Service: Es gab einen Espresso. Schwierig fand ich die Person hinter dem Tresen. In einer Lautstärke, die man beim besten Willen quer durch das Restaurant nicht überhören konnte, wurde über einen Gast vom Vortag gelästert und die Dame als „Dumme Kuh“ bezeichnet. Die selbe Person beschwerte sich, ebenfalls in tragender Lautstärke unaufgefordert bei einem Gast, über Personalprobleme, weil ja alle vom Staat 2.000 Euro bekämen. „Entschuldigen Sie, das musste ich mal loswerden.‘ Das geht so nicht. In einem Gastronomischen Betrieb werden keine Gäste beschimpft. Wenn der Service ansonsten nicht so nett gewesen wäre, wäre meine Bewertung noch schlechter ausgefallen.

Wirklich gutes Restaurant, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Zu jeder Tageszeit zu empfehlen! Ich liebe den Mittagstisch dort! Einfach klasse! Auch das Frühstück ist sehr gut und zu empfehlen! Im Sommer kann man sehr gut draußen sitzen. Wer etwas gegen Kirchenglocken hat, sollte sich Kopfhörer aufsetzen.

Hm. Man sitzt ja ganz schön auf der Terrasse, was vor allem das Verdienst des Ludwigkirchplatz ist. Aber 5 Euro für einen doppelten Espresso? Eindeutig zu teuer.

Enttäuschend. Die Kalbschnitzel sahen sehr leidend aus. Statt schöne Panade, kam dicke Panade die sich mit dem Fleisch nicht vertragen konnte und fiel weg vom Fleisch.

Update Juli 2023: Vor drei Jahren waren wir sehr angetan von Weyers und wählten es bei unseren diesmaligen Berlin-Besuch erneut zum Frühstücken. Die Lage natürlich weiterhin sehr schön, das Café auch recht stilsicher eingerichtet, das Essen ist gut, aber das Einzigartige von früher fehlt. Gab es hier einen Betreiberwechsel? Denn was zusätzlich auffällt sind die geradezu unverschämt erhöhten Preise. Als Münchner ist man schon sehr hohe Preise gewöhnt, aber wenn selbst diese nochmal deutlich getoppt werden, stimmt für Berlin das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für das Abgelieferte nicht mehr. Beispiele: ein kleines Glas frisch gepresster Saft 7 Eur, Wiener Schnitzel 27 Eur, Milchkaffee 5,50 Eur. Der Service ist okay, müsste aber auch in dieser Preisklasse deutlich aufmerksamer sein - und weniger verpeilt. Eine Frühstückskarte wurde uns um 12:00 Uhr gar nicht mehr ausgehändigt, nur noch die normale Speisenkarte und wir mussten erst erneut reingehen und nachfragen. Daher von mir keine Empfehlung mehr. Alte Rezension: Absolut aus der Zeit gefallen, aber gerade deswegen ein Kleinod in der Berliner Gastroszene. Entweder man mag es oder man hasst es.

Der Service war eher kurz angebunden erst auf direktes Zurufen unsererseits wurde überhaupt reagiert. Handzeichen geben und direkt ins Gesicht der Bedienung schauen wurde ignoriert. Die Preise sind happig.....um nicht zu sagen...... unverschämt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Die Sauce Hollandaise aber auch die Guacamole waren vorgefertigte Saucen,die definitiv nicht hausgemacht und demnach auch nicht "frisch" waren. Geschmacklich dadurch natürlich auch nur einerlei! Salz gibt es in kleinen Tütchen.......ganz so ,wie es in Imbissbuden üblich ist...... für das Weyers......welches bis vor dem Wechsel des Betreibers wirklich gute Küche anzubieten hatte......... unwürdig! Hinzu kommt,dass die Preise gehobene Qualität suggerieren......aber über mittleren Durchschnitt nicht heraus kommen. Dass die Lage gut ist muss nicht weiter erwähnt werden. Dies berechtigt aber nicht, mittelmäßige Küche zu gesalzenen Preisen anzubieten. Ich werde hier sicher nicht nochmals frühstücken gehen. Schade........
