The most tasty and well made meal I have eaten for a while!

In the years that I come to Aachen. I was told to grab a bite to eat here. The food is very tasty, I would say: try it too. That's why I often eat here when I'm in Aachen.

Tasty, but the portions are really small. I would have had to eat twice as much to be full and it was too expensive for that.

Super tasty blood sausage and also good beer. Unbeatably delicious on cold days.

The food was almost cold when we got it and the wedges were also limp. I didn't like the atmosphere. There were either high tables and chairs, which I find difficult to sit on as a short person, or a large table in the middle. The stools are attached to brackets that can be pushed out. Unfortunately, I either had the neighbor's hanger on my leg or the movements of the others were transferred to my stool. And for a self-service restaurant it's outrageously expensive, especially the drinks. That was my first and last visit.

What I remember is the friendly staff. The lady at the order taker studied customer service, it seemed. Absolutely fantastic. I also like the store concept. The furnishings are appropriate and the dishes served are pleasing, even if they didn't broaden the horizons of my palate. Well, even our own brewed beer is served here to thirsty visitors. Bravo. The location is of course great and the price is all expensive, yes, but within a clearly defined range for old town conditions. Fix your toilets. There are no more “defect” signs for sale. Conclusion: Can you get Hanswurst in Aachen? Yes definitely!

Even McDonalds now serves at the table. What a stupid concept, this kind of self-service. This tinkling thing when the stuff is finished is just annoying. Someone is always running through, ringing, to pick up their stuff. Uncomfortable, nothing like an American diner, more like a train station hall. Bratwurst snail inedible. Everything else too cold. Tourists rip off. The guy at the counter was very friendly and nice, but that was it.

It was nice and warm inside this self-service restaurant. The atmosphere was simple and relaxed. The food was simple but tasty, just what we needed. There were five of us, and everything was served quickly, which was ideal. A nice place for a quick and practical meal!

Dirty place, underground toilet, currywurst with tomato sauce (?!), dried out wedges. And all for a relatively expensive price. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time!!

The cheese spaetzle from the Hanswurst stand at the Christmas market was tasty. The cheese had a nice flavor that was well complemented by the fried onions and fresh chives. The optional bacon cubes added a pleasant, spicy note and went perfectly with it. Overall, the combination was harmonious and left the impression of careful preparation. The portion was quite small though, maybe 150g, which is more like a snack than a full meal. At €8.90 including the additional costs for the bacon cubes, the price-performance ratio is very unbalanced. Of course, the prices at Christmas markets are generally higher, and the circumstances partially justify this, but the feeling remains that a slightly larger portion would have been desirable in order not to leave such a cheeky impression.

A good concept, right next to the cathedral. Service and location were very good, but the currywurst and fries were nothing.

I would give at least -3 stars!!!! We ordered cheese spaetzle in front of the restaurant at the Christmas market, which wouldn't even have been enough for a three-year-old and for 9 €😬😬😬 And everything else we saw, the portions weren't any bigger either Price-performance doesn't fit at all 👎👎👎👎 Simply outrageous

Delicious vegetarian sausages! We had the Hansthüringen (see photo) and Hansberlin! Not the best Currywurst but still very good. Fast service if you want something casual and good. Highly recommend!

The food is fine, but WAY overpriced. At an Imbiss you can get the same quality food and portion for half the price.

It was a nice experience when I had a lunch here a year ago. The sausage and the beer were both tasty. But this time there was a big cockroach running on the table! A waiter helped to get it away but it seriously made me worry about the overall hygiene. Besides, no one apologized for what happened nor offered any solutions. I would no longer come to this place and could not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice clean place, just didn't know it was a restaurant, had hoped I could take sausage home. It's on the list for next time.

I'm not a big sausage fan, but you can go here every now and then and buy some sausage and some side dish. The beer is also really good and the service is very friendly and accommodating. Many greetings go out to the young gentlemen at the checkout.

It says they open at 12 noon but this is usually only at 12:30, rude rude staff.

Authentic German restaurant with typical German decor, delicious sausages and stews. The service employee was kind enough to point out that what I wanted to order had black pudding, which not everyone likes. The currywurst was perfect.

€6.20 for a beer. I've never been able to make an assessment quicker. I travel a lot in Europe, that's a record (...and self-service!?). Besides, I wasn't nearly full. I went to the next snack bar and ate basically the same thing again for €5. I also don't believe that the Thuringian sausage has ever seen a Thuringian, I speak from multiple experiences. But it wasn't bad, just far too little.

Very tasty currywurst, and good wedges. Two stars are deducted because: -the portions are very small The curry sauce was more unseasoned than spicy. And what was missing was that fruity one. Conclusion: if you want to eat a relatively good currywurst, this is the place for you, but the portions are very small.

We got the sausage platter to share among the two of us, and it was the perfect choice for indecisive people like us because we’ve got to try different types of sausages! Especially liked the currywurst, and appreciated the addition of veggies to complement the chips. A perfect lunch option.

You can eat here quickly and tasty, if you like the "beer + sausage" atmosphere. However, the beer is good and the food is also good, served rather quickly. The short menu also includes salads for those who don't like sausages.

I wanted to look at the store on Friday morning, we were in a group and the owner pushed me away so that I injured myself. We filed a complaint for bodily harm and damage to property. There was also a complaint to the health department.

Quite a good sausage restaurant in the middle of Aachen, right next to the cathedral. The prices range from 10-30 euros depending on the content. They also brew their own beer, which I really liked and I could recommend. The sausages were well made, and there is always a side dish next to it. You don't eat the sausage as is. Bathrooms were OK, interior design was great.

Waited more than 30 minutes for order. Other customers were served before me as they arrived late. Impossible to pay by card because device was defective!!!

The name is program. Sausages are offered in a variety of variations, as a menu, or simply with a slice of bread, which I can always recommend for a short stop. The very central location allows you to stop by just for a quick snack. The service is somewhere between restaurant and fast food.

Went in with multiple friends for food and a beer. Nice selection of sausages and dishes and the beer was lovely. Great outdoor seating area and nice cooled inside area too. Very friendly staff!

Good food good meat good god let’s eat

After reading positive reviews, we decided to visit this place, but it is a typical tourist place with a nice atmosphere and poor food. The location is great, right next to the cathedral, but the beer is over-gassed, the portions are small, the sausages are so-so, the fries are burnt and the curry is sprinkled just for the sake of it. It should be better at a regular sausage stall.

It's surprisingly tasty, and the personnel is really friendly. Good idea if you enjoy a delicious Wurst.

The Hans Thuringia dish is manageable in terms of quantity. The price of €12.90 is borderline. The taste was mediocre, there was not enough onion sauce and it tasted too dry. The preparation was quick and the staff was friendly. But still not a second time, better Degraa again!!

"Hans Wurst" is a very good alternative to the usual fast food chains. All dishes on the menu are served with sausage appropriate to the city. Such as B. Hans Wurst Berlin with the currywurst that is usually eaten there. Hans Wurst Munich with white sausages. The side dishes are also typical of the respective city. Takeaway options are available here or you can eat in. There are a few individual tables and one large group table. Despite the fact that the restaurant isn't that big and there are lots of tables, the volume isn't so loud that you can't still have a conversation. We like coming here and it is a very good alternative to McDonalds.

Restaurant is completely self service: you order and pay at the counter, get a beeper and then collect your food when ready. Staff were friendly. Accepts credit cards (including foreign cards).

I asked for lactose free because I get very sick when I eat lactose. The man at the counter checked the allergens card and pointed me to two dishes I could eat. I chose one that should've been lactose free, but it did containe lactose because I got really sick and was in a lot of pain. I've been sick for 2 days and couldn't eat for a whole day, which made my 3 day trip to Aachen quite bad. I don't know what went wrong but it is really not ok to be this sloppy with allergies.

First time in Germany. Went to this cute little establishment for the pretzel and it was tasty. They also had many beers to choose from. Service was quick!

Good was alright I would not say ait was anything special but was just food if that makes sense. The view is very nice of the Dom and the beer was good. Not somewhere that would be my first choice but it was good enough.

Large selection of different sausages. We had the Currywurst and HansHamburg. Good portions, we were full. You order food at the counter and get a beeper with which you can then pick up your food. We got our order quickly even though it was relatively busy and lunch time. Toilets are down a flight of stairs and are very clean.

It was probably the best German meal I had on a 10-day trip around Germany. I don't know if it's genuinely good or a tourist trap, but the fact is that I enjoyed it.

Ordered food via Lieferando, food was great, unfortunately the main sauces were forgotten by the driver, I called once and I was met straight away, everything was great, it can just happen, I'm not mad about it. Nice staff can only be recommended

Worst ever service. Lady working on 03.06.24 told us the opening is 12:00, but once we came in 12:05 she started shouting we were too early. We have been visiting your place for more than 3 years but unfortunately will never come back.

I wasn't satisfied on my first visit, but unfortunately I went back there again and was dissatisfied again. Soft potato wedges, lumpy lukewarm sauce over the currywurst. There was more foam in the beer mug than beer. A deceptive package. No, not again.

A nice restaurant, in a beautiful location near the Cathedral. It's self-service and it works quite well. The prices are not that high but portions are quite small. The taste is reasonable, but some sausages are fried too hard (blackened in places). Potatoes are quite dry, both the fried potatoes and the mashed ones.

Nice (fast-food) restaurant with a great location and individually modern furnishings. The sausage creations are unusual, but don't quite suit my taste. No service, just order and pick up via beeper. So it's worth a visit but not a permanent destination.

Despite a public holiday on May 9, we waited a long time before being served... The meal was not bad in itself, but the service was very long... I am patient but we must not don't overdo it, especially when the explanation is "there were a lot of people, it's a public holiday"... I think I'll eat a Currywurst elsewhere next time...

The idea is interesting: location, prices and service of fast food, but menu oriented on traditional sausages from different areas of Germany. The food is good, cheap and tasty (although being Bratwürste I perhaps would have expected even stronger flavours) and the atmosphere is very welcoming and refined. The only real flaw is the slowness of the service, which if it presents itself as a place that serves fast food is quite a problem.

My bradworst was black, my fries cold and my water, yes my water tasted like it came right from the sewers. The food came pretty quickly so that was nice. The atmosphere was also fine. Overall, its a fine cafe with fine servers and a fine atmoshere just dont buy food there.

The location on Münsterplatz is unbeatable, especially in the outdoor area. However, it is a bit stuffy inside. When eating out, you should definitely order one of the many sausage dishes, because they can do that here. The salad, which is only available as a large size in combination with a sausage of your choice (€3 extra) (again over €3 extra), was unimaginative and dry, as you only get a mini bowl of dressing, which wasn't even enough for half of it . In addition, the 80% lettuce leaves are on the bottom and the few others on top. Stirring is impossible in a bowl that is much too small. Fie Hamburger sausage was tasty and crunchy without being outstanding. In the service (self-service only) it was a bit irritating that the first employee couldn't answer a single question about the menu. She called in a colleague to help, who then took over the entire operation and didn't explain anything to the first employee. How is she supposed to learn anything if she isn't taught anything?

Horrible experience, coldly received by the owner, black stare with a glaring lack of hygiene. We discover the interior of this restaurant/snack bar in the image of this lady: in no way welcoming and neat!!! We decide not to linger in these places any longer.
