We sat with a larger group in the separate winter garden after our civil wedding. We really liked the Four Seasons. The service was attentive, the food was on point and tasty, and the atmosphere was great. Everything was right for us. Thank you!

We go to the Four Seasons every now and then and it's always very good. The food is excellent, the schnitzels are unrivaled in the region. My lady had risotto with chanterelles and salmon. She is a very critical guest because she cooks excellently herself and is only satisfied if the chef does it better. The Four Seasons Chef managed to do that today. The beers are good, the bottled wine list is great. If you only want one glass, then the selection is, well, let's say okay. Overall, a really highly recommended restaurant. We always enjoy being there again. Many thanks to the service staff. Here the guest is looked after attentively and professionally. A small suggestion for improvement: The Jägermeister could be served in authentic glasses.

Stay was only possible with a jacket. It was a...cold. Food... let's put it this way: nothing spectacular for way too much money. Service was very nice. Overall it was way too loud for my taste. The only entertainment was shouting. Not worth a second visit for me. But it's also a matter of taste.

Atmosphere and service are good, you can't say anything about that. The food, however, was very disappointing… The ribs were tender, but very lightly seasoned. The fries served with it were undercooked and cold. The garlic bread is nice, but it didn't really taste that great either. For the hefty price of €26.90, I definitely hoped for more. The salmon was still raw on the inside and slightly cold, which certainly shouldn't be the case. What a shame!

Green, sun-protected outdoor area directly at the Döhrener Tower. It's great that you can eat out again!! The cuisine has a traditional German touch and is definitely delicious. Price-performance is not cheap, but still reasonable. Service is definitely friendly and was very confident in all phases. We were there on a lukewarm spring evening and felt comfortable. We will definitely come back...

The food was great, the service was also OK, the only thing I found really annoying and can't tolerate is how the supervisor treated the staff. She loudly put down a certain service person several times in front of all the guests. Something like that is impossible. A few nice words would definitely have helped the girl more.

We went here for dinner again after the renovation. We used to be drawn here in particular by the ribs. The ambience is still quite nice on the edge of the Eilenriede. One flaw of the beer garden is that the floor is not entirely flat, so you have to be careful not to fall off your stool or chair, so it's not very comfortable for sitting for long periods of time. The food is good, I had ribs and currywurst once. Price performance compared to before is no longer so good. I think the prices are too high for the quantity. For example, there used to be three ribs instead of two for less than €20. What I don't understand at all is that there are salt and pepper shakers from Lidl on the tables for such a restaurant. And then exclusive prices. Otherwise the staff was ok, without a long waiting time. Beer for €5.90 half a liter is already steep. So all in all our visit was ok but also expensive.

I was just visiting this “beer garden” that wants to be something very special. The service doesn't deserve the word and one star is still too much. The drink was slammed onto the table with an annoyed expression on my face without looking at me, I wasn't even asked if I wanted to drink something else, if everything was okay - nothing. The waiter who came to pay didn't even look at me, said the amount and disappeared after paying without saying thank you, without saying goodbye, without wishing you a nice day, without asking if it was tasty, nothing. I will never visit this location again. Completely exorbitant prices for more than below average performance and completely unqualified staff.

The food was good but quite expensive for this beer garden like area. A seat cover was only available upon request. The service friendly and quick. An absolute minus point... A completely dirty women's toilet, stool on the walls, the floor dirty, paper everywhere... doesn't reflect the desired style of the restaurant at all. I can't judge the interior of the restaurant.

We have been there again for the first time since the renovation. It turned out very chic. Service was, as always, attentive and friendly. Food also very tasty. Since we lived in Berlin for a long time, the charm of a Berlin restaurant was reflected very well. Always beautiful.

The food doesn't live up to what the menu promises. Currywurst is unusually spicy and strange in taste, even if they say it's all homemade. In the upper new part of the restaurant you should think about the acoustics, you can't have a relaxed conversation, it's just too loud when it's full. A really nice restaurant, right at the Döhrener Tower. Cozy beer garden, directly under the trees of the Eilenriede. Here you can sit comfortably and relax with a cool drink. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I used to like to eat something here too. However, a look at the current prices on the current menu will make you lose your appetite. The prices being quoted here can really be described as outrageous. A currywurst with fries costs a whopping €14! The vegan version even costs €16.50! You shell out €27 for ribs and €15 for a normal salad! Guys, honestly - increased costs or not, but that's just outrageous. I travel around a lot across Germany and eat out several times a week, even in good restaurants. Why do I get cheaper prices even at good addresses, even in high-priced Düsseldorf? Do you buy good quality there at better conditions? Long story short: you are too expensive. Way too expensive. I won't be eating at your place anymore...but I would like to stop by the great beer garden for a beer (which is just about affordable).

Von dem guten Ruf dieses Lokals angelockt aßen wir dort heute Nachmittag mit Freunden. Der gebratene Lachs mit dem tomatisierten Sommergemüse war schön anzuschauen und schmackhaft. Die beiliegenden Kartoffeln jedoch waren ekelhaft. Weiß-hellgelb gefärbt sahen sie aus und irgendwie angetrocknet, als ob sie entweder schon vor einigen Tagen gekocht wurden oder aus einer Tüte mit vorgekochter Ware stammten. Die Kartoffeln waren von Optik, Geschmack und Konsistenz grauenhaft. Das sollte so einem Haus nicht passieren! Die anderen Gerichte waren o.k., werden aber nicht als besonderes Geschmackserlebnis in Erinnerung bleiben. Schade, dieses Restaurant hat deutlich an Qualität eingebüßt. Es war definitiv unser erster und auch letzter Besuch.

The ambience is classic, almost old-fashioned. You sit outside on the busy Hildesheimer Straße. But you have a beer garden feeling. My conclusion: solid German cuisine without sophistication. From previous visits I can recommend the ribs and the schnitzel.

Unfortunately, 4 seasons after the change of tenant a few years ago, it's no longer what it used to be! It's just system catering now and after the permanent staff left, it's no longer as pleasant as it was back then. Still a good and comfortable choice, even with several people! What's really bad is that the winter garden towards Eilenriede has now been renovated and renewed, but you are NEVER allowed to sit there! It always says, unfortunately closed!! Why?! 🤷🏻‍♂️

We decided to eat asparagus in season, with the surprise of paying 50 euros per person at the end. The place is nice, but the price is high and I was not satisfied with the price-quality ratio.

We visited the newly renovated Four Seasons on a Friday evening. We had actually made a reservation for inside, but it was too loud for us in the new room upstairs with a view over the beer garden. The service staff kindly cleared two tables outside for us and when it got cold later, we were given blankets. There were a few new things on the menu, but the currywurst (now also available as a vegan option) still tasted delicious. The beer garden may be missing a bit of decoration and the folding chairs are rather uncomfortable, but otherwise we really liked it there.

We were in the beer garden not too late on a Friday evening. More than half of the tables were free - and were not allowed to be occupied. It went so far that the staff sent people away who had already sat down there "on their own" because no employee was to be seen when they arrived. We were lucky and were assigned the last free "allowed" table. The service employee was friendly, but not very competent. We didn't even get the high chair we requested and promised for our one and a half year old toddler. He grossly misunderstood the drinks and food orders and brought the wrong thing. We ordered the second drink from his colleague, only to discover after a good half hour that he had not passed on the order/booked it. Plus the prices are completely exorbitant - currywurst with a manageable amount of fries for over 16 euros... I certainly won't go there again and unfortunately I can't recommend it either.

The food is ok - good average. Likewise the service. However, the price/performance ratio is no longer right here. We were there with a group of 6 people. Everyone thought the portions were too small. I understand that different prices have to be charged today than 5 years ago. But fries, fried potatoes or cucumber salad should be served more. And the outside toilet is unacceptable even for a pub. Dirty, toilet seat broken, faucet loose, paper all.

First of all...I only chose this location based on the menu...I couldn't imagine that anything could go wrong with these prices... The reception was relatively friendly, even when we were told that we had a reservation didn't respond... but there were several "reminders" by email in advance that we shouldn't forget our reservation. My wife went to the toilet briefly... and came back with the words: "I want you to go to the toilet NOW"... .What can I say... not even during a dike fire is the toilet as dirty as it is here. It was early evening, the shop wasn't particularly busy and...it was dry! The restrooms looked like they hadn't seen any cleaning staff for the last 3 months. The tap was loose, you could turn it back and forth on the basin... empty of soap... That doesn't work at all. When the food came...high prices for canteen food...Cordon Bleu made in the deep fryer, very greasy, fried potatoes with bacon...but no spices and also extremely greasy. The sliced ​​meat was ok. But really nothing more. Each of us would have been better off making the menu ourselves at home. Regarding the quality...I had to deal with nausea the whole evening. Accordingly, the mood was of course very hindering for the subsequent evening planning. Conclusion from us: DEFINITELY NEVER AGAIN!!! A well-sounding name, high prices on the menu... coupled with a lack of enthusiasm, poor hygiene in the sanitary rooms, lousy canteen food... actually a place like that has no right to call itself a restaurant!

Zuerst einmal...ich habe diese Location nur aufgrund der Speisekarte ausgesucht...konnte mir nicht vorstellen, daß bei diesen Preisen irgendetwas schief laufen konnte... Der Empfang war relativ freundlich, auf den Hinweis, daß wir reserviert haben, wurde überhaupt nicht reagiert...dafür gab es im Vorfeld mehrmalige "Erinnerungen" per Email, daß wir unsere Reservierung nicht vergessen sollten. Nervig! Die Speisekarten gab es relativ schnell, auch die Getränkefrage wurde schnell geklärt... Meine Frau ging nun kurz auf die Toilette....und kam wieder mit den Worten:"Ich möchte, daß Du JETZT auf die Toilette gehst"....Was soll ich sagen... nicht einmal beim Deichbrand ist die Toilette so dreckig wie hier. Es war früher Abend, der Laden nicht sonderlich stark besucht und...es war trocken! Die Sanitärräume sahen aus, als ob sie die letzten 3 Monate kein Reinigungspersonal gesehen haben. Der Wasserhahn war lose, den konnte man am Becken hin und her drehen... Seife leer... Das geht alles gar nicht. Als das Essen kam...hohe Preise für Kantinenessen... CordonBleu in der Friteuse gemacht, sehr fettig, Bratkartoffeln mit Speck...aber ohne Gewürze und auch extrem fettig. Das Geschnetzelte war ok. Aber mehr wirklich nicht. Jeder von uns hätte das Menu zuhause besser selbst gemacht. Zur Qualität...ich hatte den ganzen Abend mit Übelkeit zu tun. Dementsprechend war die Laune für die nachfolgende Abendplanung natürlich sehr hinderlich. Fazit von uns: DEFINITIV NIE WIEDER!!! Ein wohlklingender Name, hohe Preise in der Speisekarte...gepaart mit Unlust, mangelnder Hygiene in den Sanitärräumen, mieses Kantinenfutter.... eigentlich hat so ein Laden gar keine Berechtigung, sich Restaurant zu nennen!

Had a good currywurst yesterday. Sausage was good, fries were good, but after the first bite the sauce was reminiscent of good old Hela spiced ketchup. That was too coincidental for me…… Everything else fit. Nice beer garden, nice and attentive staff. The food was beautifully prepared. It's all ok ……. but the sauce.

Eine TOP-Adresse für Steaks! Aber auch alle anderen Gerichte superlecker. Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Biergarten im Sommer auch klasse, der Winterwald ein echtes Highlight. Das 4 Jahreszeiten ist immer ein Besuch wert.

The restaurant borders on a small strip of forest in the southern city of Hanover. Comfortably furnished, inside and out. Fast and friendly service, a mix of skilled and semi-skilled staff but everyone was really friendly. The service is attentive but subtle. Questions about whether everything is okay come to every course! The food is fresh, beautifully presented and comes to the table hot. Well seasoned, a crumb more salt would be fine for me, but it's a matter of taste and shouldn't be a point of criticism here, especially since salt and pepper are on the table and anyone can add more seasoning if they like. Children receive a painting set and can keep themselves busy. A nice selection of children's meals is on the set. The children's portions are quite large! (See photo of schnitzel with fries - this is the children's portion!) The fries are amazing, rustic and crispy! The cooking point for fish and meat is exactly the right one. Can only be recommended!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the visit. As old Hanoverians, we always liked coming here, but after the renovation the rustic flair is missing. The food has become very expensive, but the quality cannot compete with comparable restaurants in the price range. Especially with the reps. It is very impersonal and lacks friendliness. We are very sad and will probably not come back. Very unfortunate.

We wanted to go there today, then saw the menu and stayed away. You used to get a large portion (3 strands) of ribs for around €18. Now they charge €27 for a small portion (2 strands). Price increases can be understood anywhere, as long as they remain within limits. But that's just cheeky now

We went there for ribs for the first time in October 2023. Back then we got 3 strands of ribs for just under €20. Currently you only get 2 strands for just under €27 (back then just under €18 for 2 strands). It is understandable that VAT has been increased and we also have inflation. But almost 10 € more is simply not ok! Even a Wiener Schnitzel currently costs just under €31. These prices are outrageously high, with consistent quality. So unfortunately we won't be coming back.

According to the internet they offer cakes on site and it was said in a stroppy tone. "You haven't had cake here for a long time, you have to read that correctly." Alternatively, currywurst fries and cheese spaetzle. Sausage was dry and far too little sauce and spaetzle not enough for a man. In addition, a handful of fried onions were placed everywhere - what have they lost on cheese spaetzle? Overall, we didn't like the food at all and they won't see us again either!

We were there with a group of 13 people and ate à la carte. Drinks and food came together so we could start together. The service was very friendly, attentive and careful. We sat in the new winter garden and had a great view. The guest room itself was very tastefully decorated, modern but still comfortable. I had cheese spaetzle, which was to the point, beautifully presented and simply delicious, as was the salad. All the other dishes we ordered were also excellent. Absolutely to suggest!

Wanted to order a table for five people in four weeks. When I asked for the place in question, we were very rudely dismissed by the waitress with the words, "It will happen when you get there." That was on February 26th. We had a bad experience there years ago. We thought something would have changed for the better with the change of operator. It was done for us and our not exactly small circle of friends.

We had the food delivered. Despite the delivery, the quality was great and the taste was excellent. We will definitely order from there more often. Thank you for the culinary delight.

We were there with friends on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, so there was probably a longer wait for our food and it was served lukewarm. The kale dish included a measly slice of smoked pork for an outrageous €3. The pricing is high, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. What was found to be very disturbing was that the Sunday brunch began to be set up around 10 p.m.

Food is 👍, unfortunately it took a long time until the drinks were brought. The plates of bread & co were on the table until the food was brought. The women's toilets were to be criticized because they had a poor smell, the presence and motion detectors should have been set longer and the bucket for the paper towels was also full.

A party with 26 people overwhelms both the kitchen (food arrives in slobbers) and the service (it's almost impossible to get drinks, it's overwhelmed). The hostess was not informed about the room relocation. The "homemade" dishes are by definition...

Years ago it was an exclusive address. Today only the prices are exclusive. The menu promises home-made sauce. Ready-made products are served that may be 'prettyled up' a bit. The schnitzel wasn't even breaded through and I haven't seen such a pale schnitzel in a very long time. The prices are not justified by the quality of the food!! Ordered a table for 6 people, unfortunately we were only given 5 menus. The food came, only for 5, one was not ordered by the service in the kitchen. For the money there are more pleasant restaurants with better cuisine.
