Restaurant Radieschen in Hannover

A small, nice garden restaurant which can only be recommended. Anyone who takes a walk in the Herrenhausen Gardens should go and visit the Radieschen restaurant. Fast service, nice service. Very good and tasty food and as a customer you are king there. I felt very comfortable there and can only recommend the restaurant.

We once ate sour meat with fried potatoes, and 1×Bergsteiger Schnitzel was very plentiful and tasted very good. The boss served us personally, he was very nice. The prices were quite reasonable, we will definitely go back for brown coal dinner.👍👍😋😋

An invitation took me to Radeschen. The menu is manageable, which I think is good because of the opportunity to cook seasonally, regionally and freshly. But three types of fish as standard? Now that could be TK, which I don't think is so good. Chance missed. The goulash was good, but not exactly hot. The meat was tender and the dark sauce was aromatic. The (homemade?!) potato cookies were too dry for me. Since I can't tolerate cream, I asked for an alternative to the creamed savoy cabbage that's ubiquitous on the menu. The answer “Potatoes?” seemed uncommitting to me given the cookies that were already included. The “herb salad” that was then offered turned out to be coleslaw with herbs. Nice slip of the tongue, but I thought the salad was fresh and dressed with a good yogurt sauce. The ambience of the main room is a bit old. The larger room next door appears to have been recently renovated, but it is lit with such bright lights that I didn't want to sit there. All in all, not a failure but also not a highlight or “insider tip”.

We went here for kale years ago. Back then it was a “nice” restaurant and the food was ok. A lot has changed here now. The furnishings are more modern, everything is bright… really nice. At first I was a bit skeptical about the prices when eating (schnitzel from €18.90). Until I saw the portions… gigantic and delicious. The service staff was also super nice. We'll be back

Good home cooking at a fair price

We sat outside at the table and waited for half an hour. Nobody managed to bring us tickets during that time. Inside we knew that we had sat down outside and a waiter was outside at one point. Another waitress, who came to the table to clear glasses from the previous guests, neither greeted us nor acknowledged our presence in any way. At least there should be a greeting and information about when we can expect something. So we left very disappointed. 1 star is still too much for this outrageousness.

Top excursion destination by bike. You should make a reservation.

Unfortunately, the two matjes were very oily and oily. Fried potatoes look different to me. They were small potatoes with skin on and split. Too bad.

We celebrated our wedding reception on the very beautiful terrace of the Radieschen and were really thrilled. We were completely satisfied with the friendliness, flexibility and relaxedness of the team, as well as the really delicious food. We were there with around 40 people and received consistently positive feedback. We can highly recommend the radish. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by. Behind the cozy allotment garden ambience there is a really great restaurant with reasonable prices that we can only recommend everyone to visit. We look forward to our next visit :)

As a starter we had champions gratinated with feta, great!!! The main course was the sour meat and Schnitzel Bergsteiger special, both were delicious!!! Eggnog cups for dessert, great!!! It's a great restaurant, it's located in an allotment garden. The only problem is that the restaurant closes too early for many people, so go eat earlier :-)

On a Wednesday, we (6 people) easily and spontaneously got a nice table at Radieschen. You have to and can park nearby, as this rustic restaurant is embedded in a colony of arbors. The cuisine is down-to-earth, affordable and very ambitious, not a “clubhouse mess”, quite the opposite. We ordered across the menu and were very satisfied with the goulash, the sour meat, the schnitzel and my omelet. All the dishes were appetizing and very tastefully prepared and our plates could barely accommodate the portions. For me, the radish is a real (positive) surprise and it was only chance that led us there. Our favorite restaurant was closed due to renovation work...how lucky!!

A nice garden restaurant with lots of outside seating and German cuisine. Due to the closing times, the kitchen will of course close accordingly, so you should consider that in advance.

We were looking for a reasonable option for lunch with German cuisine. It was very, very tasty, unfortunately a bit out of the way, but a visit is always worth it. Very nice service and everything at normal prices.

Went there on Mother's Day around 4 p.m. Waited 20 minutes for service even though only 4 tables were occupied. Only after you got the map yourself did a cellar appear. There was no cappuccino, supposedly no milk, but there was milk with the filter coffee. Overall, an impression of listlessness that is on the higher side for a garden colony

Were here yesterday and had coffee and cake. Coffee machine broken OK, that can happen. But the host should be able to criticize if you don't like the so-called cake. Low-level and unprofessional behavior is a no go. We are used to different things. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Guests from Switzerland.

A little hidden in a garden colony, you will find this cute restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. All in all, I can easily recommend this location!

In the middle of the allotment gardens there is a restaurant with very good and inexpensive food.

When we visited the Radieschen on April 7th, 2024, we got the last free table because the restaurant was completely booked. We would have to wait half an hour to place the order. The food came after an acceptable time and was of good quality. The staff was friendly.

Went to Radishes again after a long time. It was again excellent in every respect. We will go back more often. Definitely recommendable.

Down-to-earth food with a rustic flair. You know in advance why you are coming here. The restaurant is located in an allotment garden, which is why getting there is a bit difficult. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces directly at the restaurant. Nice service.

The duck! A little more difficult to get to and there are no parking spaces. But the food makes up for it all. Very tasty, very well made, very good selection. The duck was the best we've had in years and even the fish was great. I can really recommend everything.

I took part in a Christmas dinner there as part of a Meet5 event. The restaurant is the jewel of an allotment colony. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the food. One point deducted for ambience and service. Allotment gardens. However, the food was five stars.

We were there spontaneously at the beginning of December. The food we ate was goose leg. It was very tasty and juicy. We can only report positive things about the staff, very friendly and humorous!! Lovely again!!

Meine Mutter bestellte und servierte uns ein vom Radieschen zubereitetes Weihnachtsmenü: Weihnachtsgans mit Klößen, Rösti, Rosenkohl, Blaukraut, Sauce. Zum Dessert Bratäpfel und als Zusatzgeschenk einen wunderbarsten Weihnachtskuchen. Qualität und Geschmack waren einzigartig gut!! 1000 Dank und große Empfehlung!!!!!

Very cozy restaurant with delicious home-style food! Despite the hut being full, we received great service and immediately felt welcome! A hall for larger events is also available. The constantly changing special offers are also particularly recommended! We'd love to come back.

Das Essen im Radieschen war sehr lecker. Gegen 20 Uhr wurde unser Tisch abgeräumt, ich war noch nicht ganz fertig und am Essen. Daraufhin sagte ich beim „Abräumen“ meines Tellers, dass ich noch am Essen bin. Stark verwundert erhielt ich vom Kellner die Rückmeldung „Dann beeile dich Mädchen, die Küche macht jetzt zu oder willst du den Teller selber abwaschen“. Daher bin ich mit dem Service und dem Ambiente leider nicht zufrieden.

Super Lokal da passt mit Herz und Hirn alles zusammen. Immer wieder.. .

Wir haben uns auf Empfehlung meines Bruders dort zum Enten- bzw. Gänseessen getroffen. Es war SUPER lecker!!! Die Ente und Gans wurden jeweils am Tisch tranchiert. Ich hatte die Gans: super zartes Fleisch, knusprige Haut - sehr, sehr lecker. Auch die Beilagen haben alle sehr gut geschmeckt, Lob hier besonders auch an die Sauce. 👍🏻Das Ambiente hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen, es war gemütlich und stilvoll dekoriert. Leider war etwas laut, aber zu dem Zeitpunkt war das Restaurant auch proppe voll, von daher verständlich. Einzige Anmerkung: ich habe niemanden mitbekommen, der zwischenzeitlich gefragt hat ob alles in Ordnung ist und schmeckt- aber vielleicht habe ich es einfach nicht wahrgenommen - im Gänserausch. 😁 Würden wir nicht so weit weg wohnen, kämen wir mit Sicherheit öfter. 😊

Sehr gute Auswahl an verschiedenen überbackenen Schnitzeln. Interessante Aktionen, ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant für eigentlich jedermann.

Urgemütliches Garten- Restaurant in der Kolonie. Bin sehr gerne dort und nun wieder zur geburtstagsrunde. Waren alle sehr angetan von der Auswahl der Speisen. Und Kuchen passte auch noch in den stark gefüllten Bauch. Zu gut gebacken. Immer wieder gerne dort. Freuen uns auf die wintermenüs.

Hallo zusammen, wir waren gestern im Radieschen essen und waren begeistert. Es ist schwierig zu finden und ohne Insider wären wir wohl nie hierhin gekommen, aber es lohnt sich! Große, frisch zubereitete und leckere Portionen deutscher Hausmannskost. Wir hatten zweimal Grünkohl, Schnitzel Bergsteiger Art und Bergsteiger Art Spezial. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war üppig. Im Hintergrund ein paar Fische in einem Aquarium, die einem die Wartezeit verkürzt haben. Freundliche Bedienungen haben den Abend abgerundet. Wir kommen gerne öfters vorbei und hoffen, dass dieses Restaurant noch lange offen hat.

Das Jagdherrenschnitzel mit Pfifferlingen war hervorragend!!! Der Service aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Der Biergarten, insbesondere auch der überdachte, sehr schön. Die Toiletten sehr sauber.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe (20Pers.) im Radieschen zum Mittagessen angemeldet. Die Gerichte (a`la Carte) haben wir bereits vormittags telefonisch bestellt. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einer Kleingagarten Kolonie. Auf der überdachten Terrasse haben wir sehr lecker gegessen. Alles frisch zubereitet! Das alkoholfreie Alster ist hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service und das besonders leckere Essen. 🤩

Waren im Biergarten alles schön sauber. Schnitzel waren auch top. Freundliche Bedienung. Alles gesamt top. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Bilder sind von Weihnachten 2020 Gans abgeholt. Die auch sehr lecker war. 👍🏼 Mittlerweile des öfteren dort gewesen und immer zufrieden gewesen. Ganz toll ist jetzt auch der Biergarten geworden. 👍🏼 Hunde sind übrigens auch willkommen und ein Napf steht zur Verfügung.

Essen war sehr lecker, kann ich nur empfehlen. Getränke wurden schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Der Außenbereich ist je nach Stand der Sonne schattig was ich sehr gut finde, da ich nicht gerne in der Sonne sitze..

Der Zwetschgenkuchen mit "echter" Sahne war sehr, sehr lecker!

Wir waren an einem Freitag im Radieschen und haben sehr lecker gegessen (hausgemachtes Sauerfleisch, Bratkartoffeln, Matjesfilets, Putensteak, Schnitzel). Wir wurden von einem jungen Mann sehr freundlich bedient, und an dem sollte der Chef sich mal ein Beispiel nehmen!!! Er hat es nicht für nötig gehalten, uns zu begrüßen, war kein bisschen freundlich beim Bringen des Absackers, und als wir um halb neun fragten, ob wir noch Nachttisch bestellen könnten, wurde sehr unhöflich gesagt, die Küche sei schon zu. So schön es da ist, aber es gibt noch andere schöne Restaurants - das muss man sich nicht bieten lassen,

Vor der Coronazeit waren wir (leider) das letzte Mal dort. Einige Male waren wir unter anderem zum Scampiessen im Radieschen. Ein Blick in die Website hält uns aber von einem erneuten Besuch ab. Von vormals unter 20,-€ werden jetzt 34,90€ aufgerufen...... Da verzichten wir lieber.
