A pleasant restaurant/bar in the very center of Berlin. I was most surprised by the calm atmosphere, which I did not expect at all given the location. The surrounding streets are united by one feature - huge traffic, lots of people and cars. Linienstraße is the exact opposite - you sit down in a quiet establishment with good draft beer and pleasant service, where the noise from the street is minimal. As a person who does not like noise, I was extremely satisfied here. 4 local beers on tap, which can be such an "attraction" for a tourist. Thumbs up! I rated the service only four stars, but that's only because I'm a person spoiled by the Czech pub culture, where they bring beers to your table until you've had enough.

A taste of the Schwarzwald in the heart of Berlin, the ambiance effectively transports you to the region, complemented by a menu featuring classic dishes like Maultaschen and Flammkuchen. The friendly staff welcomes you into the relatively spacious yet cozy restaurant. I highly recommend the Flammkuchen, especially the special of the day with added Pfifferlinge mushrooms. The Wurstsalat was also exceptional, providing a delightful culinary journey through the Schwarzwald.

They presented me with a pasta with cheese and fried onion (rather burnt) that, at first, seemed tasty, but, after time, gave off a disgusting burnt oil flavor. They probably haven't cleaned the pan or the iron since time immemorial. I wouldn't come here in my life.

Nice place to sit outside. I had the ham & cheese spaetzle. Crazy yummy. Kind of a bougie neighbourhood so it was a great portion of food for €15.

The food is very delicious, it is typical of southern Germany, I ordered an asparagus cream and it was delicious, I also ordered a pasta and the portion was quite large, in addition to being very delicious.

The place welcomed me very nicely and the service was nice, but unfortunately the food was average for us. the flammenkuchen with zucchini and the one with goat cheese were good. But flammenkuchen with cranberries and dumplings with cheese are too greasy and hard to eat.

Delicious!! A simple place with excellent food, the best of my visit to Berlin, good options for vegetarian dishes. At night it is very cozy. We saw it at night when it was full and we couldn't stay. We returned the next day. Wonderful lentils. Very good attention.

As the name suggests, this bar and restaurant has a bit of the charm of a combination of good German cuisine restaurants and a chilled bar. The menu offers Black Forest dishes, but the bar is much better stocked than you would expect from a restaurant. I happened to be there twice in a short space of time and can say that on Wednesday it was very full with a corresponding atmosphere, but on Friday there weren't very many guests there, which meant the atmosphere suffered a bit. The food was good. Cheese spaetzle in Berlin wasn't exactly to be expected, but it was still good. Drinks were very good. Highly recommended for an evening, at least before the weekend.

It was hard to find a German restaurant in this area, but I was fortunate. Not inexpensive, but very good food (I had the maultaschen) and a very good choice of drsft beers, even one from a town I lived in in N Bavaria a long time ago. Nice overal experience.

When in Berlin, we wanted to eat in a real German restaurant, and had the food fortune to pick this one. Food was really tasty and unexpectedly the highlight was the various presentations of potatoes! Helpings were good and the service nice and friendly.

We arrived without a dinner reservation on a Saturday evening and were warmly welcomed. The menu is small but crammed full of local flavours. I opted for the game sausages with sauerkraut and mash - divine. Washed down with cool, crisp, local pilsner it was the perfect way to round off our short stay in Berlin. The restaurant itself is charming with a cosy ambience, really friendly staff and I would say a mid-priced menu. Our meal for 4 with 2 drinks each came to €140, well worth every penny. Handy for the S-Bahn and U-Bahn.

Good restaurant with good food. Nothing spectacular, but worth the visit. The Spatzel is very tasty, but the Schnitzel was average. In the end I think it was worth the visit but I wouldn't go back for the food. The atmosphere is cool and has a very typical decoration with animal heads.

I cannot express how delicious this meal was. It was our first time in Germany and this place exceeded our expectations. If you come, please order the cheese spatzle and pork schnitzel with potato salad. Thank me later

Quirky little restaurant with limited good menu. The menu was in English and our waiter spoke good English too. Our food was delicious and come with a tale of where it came from. Not over priced and locals also ate there.

A prop de l'hotel trobem aquest restaurant, de cuina alemanya, molt bona la Flammkuchen, com una pizza de pasta molt fina, i les postres que ens va recomanar el cambrer. El servei, tot i les critiques llegides amb anterioritat, excel·lent.

Amazing Flammkuchen / tarte flambée

Restaurante algo camuflado en el cual para entrar hay que apartar como una especie de cortina que está según abres la puerta. Una vez dentro el ambiente es bastante tranquilo, con una vela en cada mesa y música tranquila de fondo. En cuanto a la comida la verdad es que nos vamos sorprendidos para bien, tanto la pizza como la pasta muy ricos de sabor. Pedimos también además una jarra de 0,5L de cerveza y el precio total de la cena fue el que se muestra en las fotos. El único punto negativo es que los camareros no te avisan de que tienes que pedir en barra, entonces hasta que no pasan 10min aproximadamente no se acercan a la mesa para preguntar si necesitas algo.

Non avevo mai provato la cucina tedesca, e come prima impressione ho avuto un ottima esperienza in questo ristorante. Abbiamo preso: Flammkuchen, la classica Schnitzel Paniert e il Käsespätzle. Tutti e 3 hanno superato le aspettative, buonissimo e consigliato. Tutti e 3 i piatti per 2 persone forse era un po' troppo, siamo usciti proprio pienissimi, ma ne valeva la pena. Alla fine 3 piatti + acqua + 1 caffè abbiamo speso 55€ (mancia esclusa, non obbligatoria)

Tiene buen ambiente pero al entrar no nos dieron ni la bienvenida, estuvimos un poco incómodas buscando una mesa para sentarnos. Una vez nos sentamos en la mesa el camarero tardo lo suyo en traernos la carta sin decir ni una palabra. Cuando ya habíamos decidido estuvimos 20 minutos esperando hasta darnos cuenta de que se pedía en la barra, el camarero no perdió ni 30 segundos en acercarse a decírnoslo. Una vez pedimos la comida o tardo mucho y estaba muy buena y bastante buen precio para la calidad y la cantidad.

If you want to try typical german meals, this place is right for you! I recommend you to try pumpkin soup (season menu),it was really delicious! They offer really good hot wine and good beer. I had an accident with salt and waiter was so nice and he brought me a new meal. Such a nice service there.

Το φαγητό ήταν πάρα πολύ νόστιμο. Δοκιμάσαμε σνίτσελ με πατάτες και το ευχαριστηθηκαμε παρά πολύ. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Το μόνο πράγμα που με επηρέασε αρνητικά ήταν ότι δεν υπήρχε δυνατότητα πληρωμής με Pos. Το κρασί επίσης εξαιρετικό.

Ich bin immer beeindruckt, wenn man mit vielen Leuten essen geht und die Küche es schafft, alle Gerichte gleichzeitig auf den Tisch zu bringen. Dafür ein fettes Lob! Geschmäcker sind verschieden. Ich beziehe mich jetzt auf die Einrichtung geschmückt mit lauter toten Tieren. Das Essen ist groß artig, hab selten einen so guten Flammkuchen gegessen. Die Musik nervt, der Laden ist eh schon so laut.

Wir waren hier am Samstagabend spontan mit Freunden und haben einen der letzten Tische ergattert. Das Besondere hier ist die eigentümliche originelle Dekoration der Stube im Schwarzwald Style. Der Service war gut genauso das Essen. Wir hatten Kürbissuppe und Flammkuchen von der Tageskarte. Wir waren zufrieden!

The one thing I want to share with you; try the flammkuchen!! It was really good. Thin crust and not to soft and really great taste. Not to expensive either. The place itself is modest, with friendly staff and has a nice ambience. And crowded with local people.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene: la flammkueche alla zucca era buonissima, lo Schnitzel era buono e abbondante e il Wildgulasch con cavolo rosso squisito. Consigliatissimo sebbene la foresta nera sia a oltre 600 chilometri di distanza!

Wir waren aufgrund diverser schlechter Bewertung etwas unsicher, ob wir die Schwarzwaldstuben besuchen sollen, aber es war kein Fehler. Das Ambiente war nett und zwanglos, die Bedienung sehr nett und unsicher und nach kurzer Zeit hatten wir unsere Schnitzel vor uns stehen. Das Essen war echt lecker, sicher keine exzellente Küche, aber durchaus sehr solide.

Neste restaurante da Floresta Negra experimentamos a famosa flammkuchen e outro prato cuja base é a uma massa de pão fervida e queijo. Também experimentamos um branco alemão muito bom. Uma excelente experiência 🙂.

I've read about this place on the Lonely Planet guide, so I've decided to try it. I've eaten Schnitzel with fried potatoes for the first time and the first impression was really good( eaten another one in another resturant and still think this one is the best),a 0,5 L Berlin Pilsner, long coffee and a rally good spirit suggested by the waiter. Caring and fast service, the place was homely and i liked the atmosphere. If I will ever come back to Berlin, I'll eat here again!

Neste restaurante da Floresta Negra experimentamos a famosa flammkuchen e outro prato cuja base é a uma massa de pão fervida e queijo. Também experimentamos um branco alemão muito bom. Uma excelente experiência 🙂.

Wir haben dort gut schwäbisch/badisch (?) gegessen. Der Service war etwas durcheinander und es ist dort, wenn der Laden voll ist, sehr laut.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Linsen mit Spätzle kann ich nur empfehlen. 🤙🏼
