We went specifically for a dish, which we discovered was no longer offered, since the online menu is apparently 6 years old. Nevertheless we chose to stay since we were already hungry. The food was OK but nothing more.

All super good, I was with some friends and the staff was very friendly, so the next day we came in 40 with the university group and all love the place 😁

Traditional German restaurant, staff were friendly and spoke English. There was a small menu but catered for all. I had a veal pasta dish with potato salad, it was nice and very filling. The schnitzel was huge! I peeped at the chef hammering away at the meat in the kitchen! Meal and large glass of wine was €28

Great place, and the vibes were great. We went in and the place was full, but we managed to get a table. We had two lovely gentlemen serving us, and they helped us when we had questions as we don't speak German. The portions were big, and it was worth the money. I would definitely come back!

Have had many good experiences here, there were some problems on my last visit and they addressed them to my satisfaction. People are very nice. Bring back Maultaschen geröstet mit Ei!

Very tasty veal schnitzel with friendly service

Unfortunately a failure. Service was disinterested and the food just wasn't good. There was no response to criticism expressed on site. I'm originally from BaWü, so a visit here was obvious. We had Maultaschen and venison goulash. The Maultaschen (€15) tasted watery and bland. The venison goulash (€26) was okay, the red cabbage that came with it was tasteless and the dumplings weren't good either. At least the beer was good. I ended up complaining to service about the food. An okay came back. I then asked again for this to be further admitted, as it is important to me to be constructive. I don't know if that happened. I am really very disappointed.

I found a place in the beer garden on the street, it was cozy. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was very tasty. I didn't really like it inside, especially the way to the toilet wasn't up to date.

We've been here from Italy for 4 evenings straight. The food is amazing, from the starters with classical products, 'till the Kaiserschmarrn. Special mention to the schnitzel, and the amazing Flammkuchen with cranberries and cheese. The staff is amazing too, the owner rembered us from the previous evening and set up the same table for us the evening after. The price is very good too. We absolutely recommend this place. Thank you for the amazing meals and we look forward to see you again soon!!

The food is simply very good. As a starter we had suckling pig with salad and lentils, as the main course Kaiserschmarren (the best I have ever eaten) and tarte flambée. Everything was excellent. We would love to come back.

I was there with my wife and 6 year old daughter on a Saturday early evening. It wasn't particularly crowded. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and abrupt, the food was acceptable, but absolutely nothing special for the price. Not a pleasant experience, the atmosphere makes a big difference when visiting a restaurant. Not recommended.

Good to dine here once. Although unsure what the actual cost of my dinner was. €22.50 the gentleman said for my main meal and then a small Pilsner add on. The total was €36.00. They aggressively asked for a tip and proceed to sook when I had declined. Judging by my bill he had already tipped himself! As I have read in few other reviews. He chose to pay dumb when I asked where the nearest supermarket was. Cheeky.

A pleasant restaurant/bar in the very center of Berlin. I was most surprised by the calm atmosphere, which I did not expect at all given the location. The surrounding streets are united by one feature - huge traffic, lots of people and cars. Linienstraße is the exact opposite - you sit down in a quiet establishment with good draft beer and pleasant service, where the noise from the street is minimal. As a person who does not like noise, I was extremely satisfied here. 4 local beers on tap, which can be such an "attraction" for a tourist. Thumbs up! I rated the service only four stars, but that's only because I'm a person spoiled by the Czech pub culture, where they bring beers to your table until you've had enough.

A taste of the Schwarzwald in the heart of Berlin, the ambiance effectively transports you to the region, complemented by a menu featuring classic dishes like Maultaschen and Flammkuchen. The friendly staff welcomes you into the relatively spacious yet cozy restaurant. I highly recommend the Flammkuchen, especially the special of the day with added Pfifferlinge mushrooms. The Wurstsalat was also exceptional, providing a delightful culinary journey through the Schwarzwald.

lack of vegan options. unbelievable its 2024 even a curry shop offers a vegan sasauge.

They presented me with a pasta with cheese and fried onion (rather burnt) that, at first, seemed tasty, but, after time, gave off a disgusting burnt oil flavor. They probably haven't cleaned the pan or the iron since time immemorial. I wouldn't come here in my life.

Nice place to sit outside. I had the ham & cheese spaetzle. Crazy yummy. Kind of a bougie neighbourhood so it was a great portion of food for €15.

The food is very delicious, it is typical of southern Germany, I ordered an asparagus cream and it was delicious, I also ordered a pasta and the portion was quite large, in addition to being very delicious.

As the name suggests, this bar and restaurant has a bit of the charm of a combination of good German cuisine restaurants and a chilled bar. The menu offers Black Forest dishes, but the bar is much better stocked than you would expect from a restaurant. I happened to be there twice in a short space of time and can say that on Wednesday it was very full with a corresponding atmosphere, but on Friday there weren't very many guests there, which meant the atmosphere suffered a bit. The food was good. Cheese spaetzle in Berlin wasn't exactly to be expected, but it was still good. Drinks were very good. Highly recommended for an evening, at least before the weekend.

It was hard to find a German restaurant in this area, but I was fortunate. Not inexpensive, but very good food (I had the maultaschen) and a very good choice of drsft beers, even one from a town I lived in in N Bavaria a long time ago. Nice overal experience.

When in Berlin, we wanted to eat in a real German restaurant, and had the food fortune to pick this one. Food was really tasty and unexpectedly the highlight was the various presentations of potatoes! Helpings were good and the service nice and friendly.

We arrived without a dinner reservation on a Saturday evening and were warmly welcomed. The menu is small but crammed full of local flavours. I opted for the game sausages with sauerkraut and mash - divine. Washed down with cool, crisp, local pilsner it was the perfect way to round off our short stay in Berlin. The restaurant itself is charming with a cosy ambience, really friendly staff and I would say a mid-priced menu. Our meal for 4 with 2 drinks each came to €140, well worth every penny. Handy for the S-Bahn and U-Bahn.
