Absolutely recommended – great ambience and delicious food
The potato cellar offers a great ambience - nice and dark and romantic, perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff is super friendly and creates a very pleasant atmosphere.
The food is not only incredibly tasty, but also very generous portions - and at absolutely fair prices. Incredible value for what you get!
We'll definitely come back when we're in the area. Highly recommended!
Le Marrakech in Hamburg is a restaurant that stands out above all for its impressive oriental ambience. It feels like a journey into the world of 1001 Nights - with lavishly decorated rooms, lots of colorful lamps and regular belly dancing. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight and ideal for special occasions or an unusual evening for two or with friends.
The restaurant offers a selection of dishes from Moroccan, Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. The mezze platters and tagines are particularly well received. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and the ingredients seem fresh.
I've been coming to Hamburg for over 20 years now and today I'm here for the first time.
Definitely a mistake.
Rather unsightly from the outside, it is very spacious inside, but still cozy.
Cohesive furnishings. There are lots of things to discover.
Attentive staff.
Own beer, which I prefer the September Dark.
For dinner I had Halli Galli plates.
Good portion, everything was done except two onion rings, fried potatoes a bit too greasy for my taste.
Definitely going here again.
We had cocktails each with a pasta dish and a chocolate soufflé for dessert. The food came surprisingly quickly and my companion had a stomach bug after eating... the food tasted like ready-made food! But the service was great!
So my advice: Drinks are fine, but I wouldn't recommend eating.
We can only recommend this restaurant to a limited extent. Anyone who likes tourist rip-offs likes it. If you want to eat, you will be given a time slot of 45 minutes in advance. In no time at all, as soon as you order, the food arrives. Comfortable is different. Portuguese hospitality is different. True, 5 years ago the world was still in order. The food is nothing extra! Carelessly prepared. It's a shame that it turned out this way
So we were here recently... the last time I was at the Gänsemarkt was 5 years ago and it was great. But here everything was structured by people who haven't been here for a long time, you can expect zero service
means look to the right..... well confusing. The tables are not cleaned regularly totally terrible. I was expecting a mega burger but was totally disappointed and just slapped everything together and DONE. I am totally disappointed!
I've been to Henny's several times and have always been very satisfied. The staff is attentive and courteous. In addition, it is never a problem to express special requests - they are always very flexible. The menu offers something for everyone as the selection is very large.
I would love to come back, look forward to my next visit and thank you for your hospitality!
I can actually only recommend the place for drinks. Firstly, the food is too expensive and secondly, at best it is of sufficient quality. For example, I had the Caesar wrap and the salad in it was hotter than the chicken, which means it was simply warmed up too. You don't actually do that now.
Unfortunately, half of the dishes on the menu were unavailable, and unfortunately, no information was provided when we were assigned a table.
We wanted original hamburger specialties, but unfortunately, they weren't available...
We had a reservation for 8 people.
It's a shame that no information was provided, either via the tool or upon entry.
The alternatives we ordered were bland and nothing special...
That should change, because we won't be coming again...
Too bad
I highly recommend this restaurant. I went there several times years ago and was looking forward to returning. It's fantastic and has improved in every way: service, food, and ambiance.
We were in Hamburg for a few days and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance.
A hidden gem in my opinion. The food was great, the prices were fair, and the staff were super nice and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the very next evening. I highly recommend it.
What I really liked was that they always provided a basket of warm rolls and dip. Simply delicious.
Yes, food is quite OK, I had the currywurst, my husband had the lumberjack steak. You could eat everything, it wasn't the culinary highlight, but it wasn't bad either.
Unfortunately our waitress was very unfriendly (older, blonde, braided) A face (sorry) like seven days of rainy weather! Hardly a good day, the service was more like clapped. We had the feeling we were being a nuisance. We had to wait forever to pay, a lunch break doesn't last forever. When we asked, we were immediately bluffed, Schweinske, there's another way.
