Restaurant September in Hamburg

Very friendly waitresses combine a very good customer approach with Hanseatic charm with good service even when the house is full. Friends of good home cooking will get their money's worth here. The price/performance ratio is right here and no matter whether it's burgers, schnitzels or other dishes - the cuisine is convincing across the board. We always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately, it has declined a lot and if you feel like you've been ripped off as a guest, you should give other restaurants a chance.

Here you will find a wild mix of furnishings with an 80s pub look with a colorful crown chandelier on the ceiling, and there are funny sayings everywhere on the walls. The food actually tasted quite good, but unfortunately it was only lukewarm. Keller was very friendly and attentive, and he also had a sense of humor.

Fast, friendly service even though it was busy (Hamburg Cathedral on the opposite side of the street). Rustic atmosphere in the Karo district. Convenient location with subway (Feldstrasse) and buses. Green bunker just a few 100m away.

Very pleasant brewery atmosphere and delicious food. All of this at reasonable prices and directly opposite the cathedral.

Home-style cooking in an atmosphere similar to an Irish pub

Great restaurant with good food and great service

We were at the restaurant at 2pm on a Saturday and there were a few tables occupied. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and asked to choose a table. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and seemed cozy from the first moment. Our drink order came quickly and about 30 minutes later the food we ordered came too. The breading of the schnitzel was nice and crispy and the meat was juicy, the fries and sauces were also delicious. The lumberjack steak was also very tasty as were all the side dishes. In the meantime, the friendly waiter came to the table and asked if everything was OK. The toilets and the entire store were clean. Price performance agrees and we can recommend September. Everything was great and we would be happy to come back next time we visit Hamburg.

Cute place. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take care of us and 1 hour for the dish to arrive even though there was almost no one there.

The ambience and location of the restaurant are really wonderful and appropriately designed, so that you immediately feel at home. The food tastes very good, but the portions are a bit small in relation to the price. We took the daily special with zander fillets for €19.90 each and ordered a crispy chicken burger. Unfortunately the burger was served cold and we waited about 40 minutes for our food. The very clean toilets are a positive highlight. Overall I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Here’s to an afternoon in September shortly after more than 30 years. Coffee, KiBa, latte macchiato and a currywurst with fries and a small chocolate cake. Everything wonderful. Prices are right, great service and the ambience is almost unchanged! Coming in 30 What is years again 😊👍

Nos encontramos con este restaurante en un estado húmedo, frío y hambriento, después de despertar bajo una lluvia helada, ya que estaba cerca de nuestro hotel. Tiene un gran ambiente de barrio, servidores amables, gran cerveza y comida sabrosa. Fuimos con una hamburguesa estándar y schnitzel de salchicha y ambos fueron satisfactorios. Lo único negativo posible fue que la comida tardó más de lo que nos hubiera gustado en salir, pero hemos encontrado que este es el caso de la mayoría de los lugares que hemos visitado en Alemania. En general, nos fuimos mucho más felices de lo que entramos. Recomendaría si estás en el barrio.

I was here years ago and it is still just as authentic. Quaint local. Great menu with a diverse selection. Food delicious. Staff very friendly. You can really relax here. I found the prices to be reasonable for today's times. Portions correspond to price performance.

Large restaurant on a busy street. We made reservations in advance for a Saturday evening - I couldn't tell whether this would have been necessary. Service was very attentive and quick. The selection of food was rather standard and of mediocre quality. They are all convenience products, which in principle is neither bad nor surprising for a restaurant of this type, but I also found it not well prepared. The soup was very thin and tasteless, the ribs were a bit dry, so I wouldn't come back for a meal. The selection of drinks was also extensive. In terms of price, we were probably in the “normal Hamburg average”, but overall it seemed a bit expensive.

Everything was good so far, but it was already getting a bit old. The quality of the food could also be a little better considering the prices. The staff should be praised for always trying hard and looking after every guest.

Food, service and ambience were all great

If you have a sensitive stomach, you should leave it alone. We were there today, first we had to wait almost an hour for the food. Then it arrived cold and the fries were more than crispy. What you have to leave behind is that the waiter was really very very friendly. After dinner we actually wanted to go into the city, but halfway there we started having stomach cramps and nausea. Unfortunately, it got so bad that we had to cancel our trip to Hamburg.

The staff was super nice and in a good mood. He welcomed us straight away with a relaxed and fun manner and put us in a good mood. We had the burger with mushrooms and the beef burger and were super satisfied. The burger bun was fluffy and the meat was extremely tender and juicy. The coleslaw was also really fresh and great. We were definitely not here for the last time!

Repeatedly very long waits for a currywurst, over 45 minutes, tarte flambée once waited over an hour. Last order canceled. Something has to change. Otherwise drinks okay.

Very nice and quaint restaurant with a great ambience near the Millerntorstadion/Hamburg Cathedral. The staff was ok. Six of us ate here and had pre-ordered (which was necessary). The food was very tasty (spare rips, schnitzel and burgers) although not exactly cheap. For beer lovers: there was home-brewed beer. 🍺

We actually wanted to go for something to eat around the corner at Dulf's. However, there was already a whole crowd of people lining up for a seat. So we quickly decided to stop here. The spare ribs caught my husband's eye as he walked past. They are also declared as bestsellers on the menu and after ordering it is clear to us why. Very tasty and super tender. The meat almost falls away from the bone on its own. So definitely worth recommending! The pesto pasta was also very tasty. Nothing particularly outstanding, but we enjoyed it. The burgers that were distributed to the other tables also looked very good. I would describe the price/performance ratio as good. Conclusion: If we are back on the corner we will definitely come again.

The preparation of the food took a long time, but the restaurant was also very busy that Saturday evening. The service staff looked after the guests very well and personably and managed to make the time fly by, despite the long waiting time. The dishes are quite classic but very tasty.

We were there on a Sunday evening when it wasn't very busy. The decor is nice and the service was super friendly. The pulled pork burger tasted good, as did the pan-fried vegetables. However, we found the prices a bit high, especially for the drinks, where we got a decent price on everything (e.g. beer 5.90). Therefore unfortunately a star deduction.

A nice restaurant, with a rustic but very nice atmosphere. It is an authentic restaurant with good cuisine. The portions were huge (great value for money). The cocktail tasted very good and the homemade lemonade was also very good. The service staff were attentive and absolutely friendly (worth a visit for that alone).

Wir waren zu Zweit beim Abendessen und wurden von einem sehr freundlichen Kellner empfangen, der uns freie Platzwahl anbot. Die Speisenauswahl ist sehr reichlich und auch die Preise sind angesichts der sehr gut zubereiteten Gerichte und deren Größe mehr als in Ordnung. Nachdem wir ca. die Hälfte unserer Portionen gegessen hatten, war noch soviel auf dem Teller als drei Tage zuvor in einer anderen Lokalität zu Beginn. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!

The background music was terrible and a bit too loud. But the friendly service responded and chose a different music. That's good customer service.

Wir waren Spontan mit 8 Personen im September essen und alle 8 Gerichte, wir wollten alle was anderes, waren einfach Mega Lecker und die Portionen waren für Richtige Männer, die anschließend noch reichlich trinken wollten. Service Mega, Essen lecker, wir waren total begeistert und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch auf jeden Fall noch mal da essen gehen.

Quaint and cozy location. I had dinner there yesterday with a friend. We had a nice seat by the window. The service was very friendly and attentive. I had a very tasty asparagus dish and my girlfriend had a vegan vegetable pan. If I'm in Hamburg again, I'll be happy to come back.

Each location has its own charm. Here he is also influenced by his love for St Pauli. Due to its size, it certainly gets a little louder here in the evenings, but that is compensated for by the good atmosphere and the good food. We (not Hamburg residents) really felt comfortable here!

At first I wasn't that enthusiastic about the restaurant suggestion. German cuisine and lots of dark wood. But we were there with a larger group and the waiters skillfully took 20 orders and even brought the dishes at the same time. Everything was very tasty and filling. The steak even came out perfectly cooked. The cocktails were also great. Thank you!
