Very nice restaurant for dinner! The food is ok but the place is very nice!

I try to be fair when it comes to reviews, but believe me when I say I don't have a positive point to report here. A buffet, for which we paid €72 per person, was prepared with frozen products. Really bad. The service wasn't good either, and what can I say about the location? It is literally the basement of the town hall. There is no uglier floor in the building. Simply 0 out of 10.

Great ambience, food was very good. With 13 people, everything went well. Tried it for the first time with my colleague Labskaus and it was really tasty.

We were here for the crime diner and had a wonderful evening! The performed piece was exciting and as an involuntary participant I was allowed to take part twice! 🫣 So be careful when choosing your seat! 🤣 The atmosphere in the basement of Hamburg City Hall is unique! There are probably few who can come close!

Ich durfte im Rahmen eines festlichen Abendessens (200 Gäste im großen Keller) die Küche des "Parlaments" genießen und küsste dem Koch später die Hände. Ich bin schon etwas in der Welt herumgekommen (über 500 Auslandsreisen in 180 Ländern) und habe auch einige gute Restaurants besucht und "Gala-Dinner" erlebt, aber noch nie habe ich so ein Kalbsmedaillon (mit Kräuterhaube, Kartoffel-Erbsen-Püree und zweierlei Spargel) gegessen. Vorspeise: Schaumsüppchen aus gelber und roter Paprika mit gebackenem Blumenkohl - ebenfalls hervorragend! Der Service war flott und sehr kundenfreundlich, Getränke und Weine waren ordentlich. Beim nächsten Hamburg-Besuch schaue ich hier privat vorbei, um IRGENDETWAS aus dieser Küche zu verkosten.

We visited the PARLAMENT restaurant in Hamburg's town hall on Große Johannisstraße during an ABI ball. There were around 250 guests present. The organizer organized everything well in these historic rooms, the food tasted good and the service team was friendly.

You can find a place here even without a reservation. Why? Because the service is very fast. Does this affect the quality of the food? No. The only thing I didn't like was sitting next to guest, but if you're sociable and don't have secret table conversations, parliament is for you.

Hello, are currently in parliament for the graduation ball. Several hundred people are invited and there are ONLY two lines for the buffet. Very bad and unprofessional. There is hardly any progress. Some high school graduates are supposed to come outside for a group photo and haven't been to the buffet yet. Badly organized. There are several balls held here, so I would like things to be better organized. It's a shame for such an important evening. There are some long faces to be seen. Beautiful location for celebrations of this kind. Bad organizer.

The location is beautifully staged! It is a vaulted cellar with a free-standing bar, visually really successful! The waiter was absolutely good and would rather have him in my company! A successful dinner! Thank you very much and see you soon!

Bad service on the terrace. Had to ask 3 waitresses to pay, the answer was invariably Kollege kommt.

As part of a conference, we reserved the cornerstone cellar for 150 people one evening. The entire agreement and coordination in advance went smoothly. The room was very well prepared and the reception of guests that evening was professional and pleasant. Food and service at dinner absolutely positive. We had many guests from abroad who were all extremely enthusiastic about the location. Therefore, absolute recommendation from me.

The curry sausage is recommended

Not as good as it used to be. Smart but sterile, I just had a beer that was good and the service was pleasant.

I have been very disappointed by my experience in this restaurant. I was actually looking forward to eating there for quite a long time and eventually could go for a business dinner just recently. Service was very poor, food less than average and drinks were poorly prepared and of low quality. The only thing that I found nice was the decoration and the place. I highly disrecommend this restaurant.

Gezellige zaak. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. Alles ging redelijk vlot maar ook weer niet te snel. Het voorgerecht en het hoofdgerecht waren goed van smaak en schappelijke porties. Ook voor de prijs hoef je niet te laten. Verder is het centrum van Hamburg in de restaurants erg druk en erg vol gedurende de etenstijden. Deze zaak was ook vol maar bleef gezellig.

We ate at “Parliament” for the first time on Thursday. The food was great: fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared and lovingly presented. But what made the evening special was the service. Our waitress was extremely attentive but never intrusive. The only thing I could complain about was the noise level in the restaurant, but that is certainly due to the location itself and that cannot be changed by the restaurant. We were completely satisfied.

Old cellar vault in an exciting restaurant location. The service is very attentive and the food came quickly (less than 10 minutes) and was delicious. We were there without a reservation and on a Friday.

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful historic building of Hamburg . Strong and nice German speciality . Price are more than OK.

Classic tourist spot right next to the town hall in downtown Hamburg. Food is average - the schnitzel actually only tasted like breading. The Königsbergers tasted like a ready meal. All in all, nothing special.

Actually at most 1 star because the food was extremely bad! The 2 small meat roulades were totally dry, had probably been warmed up for ages, the red cabbage had probably been in the pot for days and was extremely bad, red cabbage can't taste bad! I would fire the chef on the spot, without mercy! Such an extremely bad meal in this house...it really couldn't be more embarrassing! The 3 stars only because the waiter was very friendly, attentive and very nice! The waiter, a Vietnamese man, really knows something about his work, many waiters can learn something from him! My express thanks to the great waiter! Result.....the chef knows nothing about his job! BUT... .the waiter, to whom I wish all the best! It's interesting that in this house, town hall, people treat themselves to such a very bad cook, which is incomprehensible, the sales must first be in the basement before you react! Don't even eat the food for free, it's better to avoid it!!!

The food was okay, the schnitzel could have been tastier. The atmosphere is good, nice environment to eat in. Staff was friendly when we were there.

The waiter service is terrible. They take a long time between dishes. You see people who have arrived later and leave before you. They forgot the main courses, also the desserts, we saw how they served people who had arrived later. At the next table, 5 people, they serve soup to one, then drinks for everyone, and the first course for the rest... everyone looking at the waiters to see what was happening. Anyway, our opinion, a disaster...

We stopped in for a drink, but it's weird they didn't know how to make traditional Martini. The pink drink in the photos is there Martini.

A restaurant that scores points primarily with its ambience. The food is solid in every respect and you certainly can't go wrong here. It gets a little louder after 8 p.m., but overall the noise level is acceptable. Service friendly and professional.

A place worth seeing in the basement of the impressive Hamburg town hall. The lighting makes the hall cozy. Solid ambience, very correct, friendly and attentive service at reasonable prices. Traditional dishes such as smelt are on the menu - but I would rather serve this with garlic mayonnaise than with herb quark.

The food is - in a very nice atmosphere - satisfactory to good. Not very good. Beef liver was quite good, the fried potatoes ordered with it were lukewarm and absolutely not crispy. The waiter from Vietnam was extremely friendly, competent and very fast. It is a fantastic business card for the restaurant.

We enjoy being here, great atmosphere, very good food, special requests are easily accommodated. The only negative point lately is that you should check the billing, especially with a waiter who still doesn't seem to know the prices. Otherwise recommended.

Discovered by chance in the afternoon. Have a quick meal in the evening. I find the prices very reasonable. Great ambience. Old Ratskeller. Staff very attentive. And the food was A1 (Panfisch & Königsberger)

Real good food with an exclusive cellar atmosphere

A very nice and traditional top class restaurant. Everything was perfect.

We were there for 4 person. I tried the whole friend fish (forget the name) and it was flat no flavor no taste unless you put the salt by yourself. The service was dry and cold also, he wasn't nicely answering my question, my friends said that's typical of Germany 🤣

The portions were very small. The Wienerschnitzel was hard and dry, the fried potatoes were soaked in oil and not crispy at all. The tuna was well done. Not recommended at all in terms of food. By the way, a glass of Graubrugunder 0.2 costs 10 euros!

There were 5 of us. 2x burgers, 1 matjes, pan fish and fried fish. So far everyone was happy, unfortunately the fried fish was dry and the fries were kind of rubbery. But the other dishes were good. Service Attentive

Food was great. Had the Finkenwerder plaice. It was really tasty. Personally, I find prices quite high. Were there with 6 people. Left €220 there.

Food was OK. Services was truly awful. First we came in and asked for a table and were told they were fully booked. A few hours later we just gave a call to ask again, and suddenly there were tables available. When we arrived the place was literally half empty and remained as such. The food was OK but overpriced for what you got served I think you can find better in Hamburg. The waiter left us waiting almost 30 minutes for a bottle of wine and didn’t even bother to stop with some water in the meantime not until we asked him. When we finished and asked for the card o look at desserts he essentially forgot us and left us waiting another 20 minutes. When we paid and didn’t provide a tip because of bad services he started behaving rudely, aggressive moving things off our table and even cursing at us in his own language (which unfortunately for him one of us spoke too and understood). Great food in a rustic setting...

Unfortunately we were late for lunch. In the end we just had a drink. Service already set the tables for the evening. However, we received friendly and prompt service!

Actually, I just had to poop, so I spotted a small bar in the basement with no people - that promised a well-attended meeting... all the greater was my surprise that behind this small bar there was a decent restaurant with lots of tables and chairs. There was a decent menu that was inexpensive and delicious. I also enjoyed my time on the throne and left satisfied😊

Excellent food, and stunning building. However I was charged €31 for Weiner Schnitzel which I questioned as I thought it was incorrect. I was told that was the price. I checked the menu outside and it said €21 not €31. I didn't go back in as I didn't want to make a fuss. I have since checked the restaurant website and it shows €24. So, be aware it could be 21, 24 or 31 Euros!!!

Beautiful restaurant in the cellar of the Rathaus. I looked at the menu outside and decided to have wiener schnitzel, which was lovely. However, when the bill came I was charged €31 which I didn't think was the price I'd seen outside. I questioned the waiter, but he assured me it was the correct price, so I paid. When I left the restaurant, I checked the menu outside, and it clearly stated, €21!!! I didn't go back in as I didn't want to make a fuss, but this restaurant needs to make sure the menus all show the same price.

The food quality was good. The staff were friendly. Lunchtime prices were moderate. More importantly this is a historical place and you can get that feeling when entering into the building. Directly in the city center and on site of city hall.

Rustic old walls with delicious food!!!

For me peronally, is a very good after work place, to take some drinks and dessert. The prices are normal, in comparison with other restorants, and the location is perfect. The guys from Vietnam that was serving us 100/10. He even tried to speak spanish with us. Keep it up.

Ein schöner nostalgischer Ort der im laufe der Zeit sicherlich so einiges erlebt hat. Beeindruckende Steinsäulen auf denen das große Rathaus ruht, gutes Essen Was wohl der Architekt oder Baumeister der sich das schöne Gebäude ausgedacht hat wohl heute über uns denken würde....

Freundliche Bedienung und auf das Essen mussten wir auch nicht lange warten. Ich hatte die Senfeier.

Gut und lecker gegessen, in nettem Ambiente. Preislich leicht gehoben.

Gesamtergebnis: enttäuschend Ich war im Rahmen einer Weihnachtsfeier mit Kollegen im Parlament. Eine tolle, ansprechende Location. Leider hat das Essen diesem ersten Eindruck nicht standgehalten. Ich hatte Grünkohl gewählt (26 €). Dies Portion insgesamt war nicht besonders groß und stand in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Das Kasseler präsentierte sich in Form eines ziemlich trockenen Quaders, nicht als Scheibe, die Speckschwarte als ein undefinierbare Matsche. Grünkohl selbst und Bratkartoffeln waren "ok". Ich esse gerne einmal Grünkohl und kann daher auch diese Mahlzeit gut mit anderen vergleichen: in jedem Dorfgasthof rund um Hamburg erhält man für diesen Preis "Grünkohl satt" (wurde im Parlament nicht angeboten) in einer wesentlich besseren Qualität. Sehr schade. Wegen der Location würde sicher wieder einmal dort essen gehen, aber vom Grünkohl kann ich nur abraten.

Hallo, hier ist ein schönes Lokal, wir haben dort nur auf die schnelle 2 normale Kaffee ☕️ getrunken und zahlten mehr als 8 € dafür , leider mussten wir einige Zeit warten bis zur Bestellung und Erhalt des Getränke, ansonsten sehr schön dort....

O melhor deste restaurante é o espaço e a localização. De resto não é nada de especial. Pedi um Labskaus e não recomendo. O serviço foi muito pobre. Demoraram imenso tempo a trazer as bebidas.

Reservamos para las nueve, la cocina cierra a las diez, el restaurante a las once y llega el camarero diciendo que teniamos que pedir rápido que la cocina iba a cerrar. Quedaba una hora para el cierre de la cocina. Creó un mal ambiente inicial sin ningún motivo y por cierto la zona central está bien iluminada la zona lateral no.

Hace 4 años estuve en este restaurante y nos había gustado tanto la comida como el servicio , este año volvíamos a Hamburgo con nuestros hijos y nietos ,,hicimos reserva en este ,restaurante porque pensamos volvería a ser un acierto y no fue así teníamos reserva para las 21 horas para 9 personas, nos habían contestado que perfecto ,la cocina cerraba a las 22 horas, y cual fué nuestra sorpresa que ,nos dieron una mesa en un lugar con poca luz, y el camarero lo primero que nos dijo fué que pidiéramos rápido la comida que cerraba la cocina ,cuando en realidad faltaba 1 hora , bueno que fué una pena ,habíamos llevado allí a nuestra familia pensando que sería una cena tan agradable como cuando habíamos estado nosotros hace 4 años y fué todo lo contrario

eam des Restaurants Parlament, ich möchte meine Erfahrung während meines Besuchs in Ihrem Restaurant mit Ihnen teilen, um konstruktive Rückmeldungen zur Verbesserung der allgemeinen Geschäftsleitung zu geben.Heute Mittag, 05.12.23 besuchte ich Ihr Restaurant mit meinem Vater. Während das Essen geschmacklich ansprechend war, war der Service leider enttäuschend. Insbesondere möchte ich auf eine unangenehme Situation hinweisen, die durch das Verhalten einer Mitarbeiterin namens Mana entstand. Bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung kam sie mit einem unfreundlichen Gesicht auf uns zu, ohne ein einfaches "Guten Tag" auszusprechen.Wir bestellten zwei kleine Biere, erhielten jedoch zwei in größerer Größe, vermutlich aufgrund mangelnder Aufmerksamkeit seitens des Personals. Als wir nach der Rechnung fragten, brachte "Mana" eine Kollegin an den Tisch. Diese begann in aggressiver, lauter und respektloser Weise mit uns zu diskutieren und zeigte sogar mit dem Finger auf meinen fast 80-jährigen Vater. Das Verhalten von Mana war äußerst unangemessen und völlig inakzeptabel.Es ist bedauerlich, dass man während eines Restaurantbesuchs auf derartige Unannehmlichkeiten stoßen muss. Diese Erfahrung gibt mir Anlass zu der Überlegung, wie das Restaurant seine allgemeine Geschäftsleitung verbessern kann.Es sollte betont werden, dass "Mana" aggressiv und laut war. Zum Schluss sagte sie sogar, dass es ihr egal sei, wenn wir uns schriftlich über sie beschweren würden.Eine effektive Geschäftsführung sollte sicherstellen, dass solche Vorfälle vermieden werden, um die Gesamterfahrung der Gäste zu verbessern. Der Fokus sollte darauf liegen, eine positive und einladende Atmosphäre zu schaffen.Am Ende hat die Bedienung namens Mana andere Kollegen gegen uns angestachelt. Mana hat schwarze Haare, und die Kollegin, die sie zu unserem Tisch brachte, hat blonde Haare. Am Ende begannen beide Frauen laut mit uns am Tisch zu diskutieren, vor anderen Gästen. Eine sehr peinliche und unangenehme Situation, die sicherlich vermieden werden kann.Ich hoffe, diese Rückmeldung trägt dazu bei, dass Ihr Restaurant seine Servicequalität verbessern kann. I just went for drinks after doing a 10 km walk around the city. I didn’t have food but had a couple of drinks. The place is neat, excellent service and a little loud to the number of people dining. Location is perfect. Crowd is a little bit older. Prices are a bit on the mid to higher side.

Dieses Restaurant liegt inmitten Hamburger Innenstadt. Sogar sich befindet inter dem Keller des Rathaus der Stadt. Da es Untergeschoss ist also ein Keller quasi, die Stimmung ist super cool würde ich sagen, und sieht wie ein Bierhalle in Bayern. Daher schon cool. Aber die Mitarbeiterin die für uns war etwas unfreundlich und unmotiviert.(Das weiß ja nur sie selbst ob sie damals Bock hatte, uns als Gäste zu empfangen...) Als wir was bestellen wollte, ich habe was gefragt, was diese Zutate ist, und sie meinte keine Ahnung, kann ich nicht erklären. Ok wenn es schwierig ist, keine Ahnung zu sagen geht ja nicht meiner Meinung nach wenn es in Restaurant ist... Und wir haben ja sowieso dann Essen bestellt, war sehr gut, super lecker. Ich wollte mal Mayo, und sie hat einfach Ketchup mitgebracht.. und weil sie sich einfach fast kaum um und kümmern wollte vielleicht, war es tatsächlich mega schwer wieder was zu sagen, und sogar bezahlen dauerte mega lang, bis sie dazu zu unsere Tisch gekommen ist. Ich finde dieses Service mega schlecht. Das Essen war ja wie gesagt schon sehr lecker. Und Icekugel schmeckt auch gut, mit frischem Obstchen.

Tolle Location, jederzeit wieder

Wir hatten Jubiläumsfeier und in dem separatem Raum mit schöner Kuppeldecke war ein tolles Ambiente. Service war super 😀 mein Risotto war ein Touch zu säuerlich wahrscheinlich durch den Wein.

Mein Freund und ich waren an der Bar etwas trinken. Supernette Kellner und Wein/ Bier. Tolle Location.
