Lamento decir que tuvimos un servicio extremadamente deficiente y en parte mala comida. Nos "servía" un viejo gruñón. Mezcló pedidos de diferentes mesas, fue muy grosero con nosotros y otros huéspedes. Recibimos la comida equivocada tres veces y la comida estaba fría. Durante la cena le indicamos al viejo / camarero que estábamos insatisfechos. NINGUNA RESPUESTA. Compartimos nuestras malas experiencias con la señora que nos recibió. Le pareció molesto, pero indicó que su colega no respondió en absoluto a lo que le dijo. Tuvimos que pagar más de 125 euros por una velada muy desagradable.

Søde og imødekommende tjenere, hyggeligt og roligt lokale. Jævnt kedeligt mad. Jeg fik lyserødt labskovs med sild og en masse surt. Min partner fik wienersnittzel og begge portioner var kedeligt. Til gengæld var hvidvinen super.

Place is great and love the atmosphere. I think it's a bit understaffed as the floor staff tried their best but it was slow and our food arrived cold, we tried to get dessert but decided to leave as it was taking too long. The staff were very friendly and they can't be faulted at all. Food tasted great though.

Very worst! Being discriminated by the female staff. The staff wearing in white shirt who ignored our request, order for 3 times. We would wish to get the bill checked and notified the staff, the staff noticed and said she would be right back. We had been waiting for 15 minutes. She was talking to each table except us. She didn’t bring the bill to our table. Luckily there was another male staff, otherwise, we couldn’t order food and got the bill checked. We would definitely not come to this restaurant again!

Service at the table was perfect, food was also great, unfortunately the greeting at the entrance only deserved one star, very unfriendly, even for northern German visitors, that you actually want to go somewhere else straight away.

Great place to enjoy classic north German cuisine. Super nice and stylish setting in the cellar below the town hall. Emphasis on the traditional holstein kitchen, just like your mutter 😋 would have made it. Good beers and wines. Reasonable pricing.

German town hall basement atmosphere with good and efficient service.

If you want to eat real German food with a nice presentation, delicious ingredients and good service at very fair prices, then you should go to Restaurant Parlament. The restaurant is located inside Hamburg's Town Hall close to the U-bahn "Rathaus". The atmosphere is historic and the food is really good. I myself got the "Hamburg Pannfisch" and my son got the "Wiener Kalbschnitzel". The waiter asked if my son wanted his in "kids size", which we agreed to, even though it's not on the menu. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. Sign up, both drinks and food came quickly.

Great as always. Now for the 3rd time in the Parliament Restaurant

The rooms in the Ratskeller are very nice, the lighting with the large lampshades is modern but very appropriate. The tables along the walls are a bit small and bare. I think it's a bit of a shame that nothing is covered there. We had a fairly cheap lunch, whereas the wine prices were unreasonably high at €12 for a glass. The wine was good. I would definitely come back again because of the space and try out other dishes and choose a larger table in the middle. The wine prices should be adjusted to the other prices and the rather simply set tables.

There were two of us for lunch on a Saturday in December. We arrived when the first wave of guests was leaving. We had two classic German dishes: Flamkuchen and Carrey wurst with fries. It tasted excellent. The service was really good and fast. The surroundings are beautiful and very atmospheric. On the way, we met quite a few brides and grooms who had to be photographed in the town hall yard, they got wet in the rain.

Walked in with out a reservation during the Christmas markets and was seated without delay. Food very good and attentive service.

Very sumptuous restaurant. We didn't make a reservation and were still able to eat even if we were seated at the bar. Very high quality fish 🐟. The service was very good 👍.

Reservé haber preguntado si había un ascensor para mi padre de 94 años. Habiendo sido dicho que sí, cuando llegó el personal nos dijo que no había ascensor. Finalmente, un funcionario recordó y resolvió el salvaescaleras. Finalmente sentado nadie nos sirvió. Luego fui y encontré 4 menús yo mismo. Al no haber recibido ningún servicio y tardado 15 minutos en ordenar a mi padre entrar en el restaurante el personal se nos acercó a pedir ya que la cocina estaba cerrando en 5 minutos. Comida fría y pobre. Sin previo aviso nos dijeron a las 3. ¡55 pm para pagar la cuenta mientras el restaurante cerraba! Mi padre fue al baño dejando su cerveza en la mesa justo antes de esto. Mientras pagaban sumieron al restaurante en la oscuridad. Fueron groseros y empezaron a sacar a todos del restaurante. A mi padre no se le permitió bajar del inodoro para discapacitados y tuve que tratar de obtener su abrigo, manta, etc. nunca llegó a terminar la bebida que pagó. Mi madre y yo fuimos al baño - mi madre solía 83 y lento. Volví a la mesa donde estaban nuestros abrigos, guantes, sombreros. En este punto, el gerente con un montón de llaves me gritó que moviera nuestras cosas mientras cerraba el restaurante. Mi esposo vino a buscar su abrigo y el gerente no lo dejó subir las escaleras para ayudar a mi padre en su silla de ruedas. Después de discutir, mi marido subió a ordenar a mi padre y ponerse su abrigo, etc. mientras tanto, después de haber comprado a mis madres sombrero, abrigo y palos discapacitados, el gerente me gritó de nuevo por esperar en el pasillo. También apagó las luces para que la gente que salía del baño estuviera en un pasillo oscuro. Puedo señalar que nadie nos advirtió a las 3. 30 estaban cerrando a las 4 y como propietario de un restaurante yo mismo cierras cuando el último cliente está listo. Nos empujaron literalmente por la puerta a tiempo para ver a todo el personal comiendo su almuerzo. Vivimos en I. Hamburgo y les diremos a todos que eviten este restaurante hasta que consigan personal que pueda servir y no sea grosero. Incluso te empujan a dar propinas cuando no lo merecen. Habíamos reservado para el lunes por la noche también, pero cancelaremos. Evitar a toda costa.

Super cosy, good food and good service

Es un edificio antiguo maravilloso para sentarse y comer. Éramos 6 adultos comiendo y teníamos diferentes cursos. Nadie triste por la comida. El curso de pescado era mediocre. El personal de servicio nos estresó por lo que la comodidad, la hora del almuerzo acogedor no apareció.

The atmosphere was excellent and the food was good. Bit of a strange experience at the end of the evening when paying. The server rather awkwardly insisted on leaving a tip. The bill was also incorrect, with poor communication we left it as it was.

Unfortunately, my Wiener Schnitzel was a bit tough and only lukewarm. The little bowl of fried potatoes was very tasty. But the meal wasn't worth almost 30 euros. Unfortunately the wheat wasn't really cold either. The positive thing was the friendly service.

Typical German restaurant. From what I understood, they usually change some dishes weekly, although the majority of the menu is always the same. I chose one of the weekly dishes, in my case sausages with sauce and cabbage and a bed of mashed potatoes. I have to say that it was very good as a whole. The mix of flavors was very good and none of them stood out over the rest but rather accompanied each other. The meat was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a Bitburger beer that was wonderful. As for the service, impeccable and very attentive, as well as the atmosphere that was very welcoming.

Unique environment and atmosphere.

It was my first time there and I was really impressed. This great and historic restaurant is more than recommended.

Great atmosphere for eating. Food and service excellent

Beautiful, traditional restaurant in the catacombs of Hamburg's historic town hall. The ambience is great and it is stylishly furnished. When it's full it gets pretty loud. The selection of food and drinks is great, the quality of the food is rather average. Nevertheless, a visit is worth it just for the special atmosphere and the bar looks great.

It was an incredibly beautiful evening. The ambience is wonderful. The food is a bit more expensive, but the quality is adequate.

During a stroll through the city we visited the parliament in the town hall. When I entered the vaulted cellar, there was a beautiful sight and I was speechless for a moment. A view opens up into the restaurant, which is beautifully lit. You are brought to the table. The staff is friendly and despite the house being busy, you are served quickly and the food is served quite quickly. The dishes are tasteful and beautifully prepared. The menu offers a nice selection, vegetarians will also get their money's worth. A day ticket is also available outside. A pleasant lunch break with a cozy atmosphere.

We wanted to have a drink in the parliament with visitors to Hamburg in the afternoon. Despite the doors being open and a notice saying it was open, we were sent away with the excuse "We are preparing for the evening's business." Other guests were sitting at tables - some with just drinks. We won't be coming back.

The Pinot Gris was the perfect temperature!!!

Very nice restaurant, especially the ambience is very impressive. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly. Unfortunately, the toilets are no longer in the best condition and the cleanliness is sometimes disappointing, which is a shame :/

Great location, cozy with history

Amazing venue and great local food, it’s a must visit when in Hamburg. The service was a bit slow maybe under staffed or just too busy but very good place to eat

Something special in this old building

I mean, yeah, it is what it pretends to be. It doesn't pretend to be a Michelin star restaurant, it doesn't pretend to be a cosy quiet place, and it doesn't pretend to have to best service in town. It's food for those who can truly appreciate the German classics I guess.

We reserved a room there for a company party. First of all, the service staff are top. Attentive, friendly and quick. The ambience was quite ok so far. It was just really dark. In the meantime you would feel the need to use a flashlight. The salad as a starter was really good. Unfortunately, the main course isn't there at all. Had medallions made of beef and pork. Unfortunately, you weren't asked whether you wanted it completely cooked or half raw, but everyone got the same thing. The pork medallion was borderline, but it was almost done. The beef medallion was raw on the inside. If you like it, it's definitely great. But for me it was not edible and unfortunately remained untouched.

Been there twice in two days. 1x sauerbraten (9/10) and 1 x Hamburger pan fish (10+) and eel starter (10+). Friendly and fast staff, very nice vaulted cellar with wooden paneling. You have to have been there!! Recommendation !!!!!

We ate in the “Parliament” and were very impressed by the ambience and the really delicious food. The waitresses were very friendly and professional. We recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is in high demand.

Restaurant in the cellar vault of the town hall. After renovation and furnishing with modern furniture, the former council wine cellar has lost some of its atmosphere. The Remter is cozy, but is rarely open. Cheap lunch, friendly service.

This atmosphere is really mine and what a great restaurant!

Particular place on the lower floor of the town hall, wooden furniture and German dishes. I had fish, the backfisch burger, served with chips and salad, a complete dish. Service a little slow but courteous.

We came across the town hall to have a drink. The restaurant was virtually empty. We were told to sit at the bar. After I emphasized several times that we would only be staying for a short time, we were assigned one of the many empty tables. A waiter came and lectured us quite rudely about all the extra work we had done to him because we hadn't immediately told us that we just wanted something to drink. He then probably had to clear away the cutlery. The drinks arrived and my companion's cocktail (€12.90) had unwashed food residue stuck to the glass that had dried out in the dishwasher and a drowned fruit fly was swimming under a slice of orange.

Locale particolare al piano inferiore del municipio, arredamento in legno e piatti tedeschi. Ho preso pesce, l' hamburger backfisch, servito con patatine ed insalata, un piatto completo. Servizio un po' lento ma cortese. Prezzi medi (una bottiglia d'acqua 7€).

Note that the entrance is not inside the main building; it's a door that faces the street. We had the curry sausage, which was very good but might be spicy for some. The spice is in the sprinkle and the sauce, so you can easily avoid it by mainly just eating the sausage. It comes with enough chips/fries to feed an army. It also came with an appetizer of bread.

I try to be fair when it comes to reviews, but believe me when I say I don't have a positive point to report here. A buffet, for which we paid €72 per person, was prepared with frozen products. Really bad. The service wasn't good either, and what can I say about the location? It is literally the basement of the town hall. There is no uglier floor in the building. Simply 0 out of 10.

We were here for the crime diner and had a wonderful evening! The performed piece was exciting and as an involuntary participant I was allowed to take part twice! 🫣 So be careful when choosing your seat! 🤣 The atmosphere in the basement of Hamburg City Hall is unique! There are probably few who can come close!

Ich durfte im Rahmen eines festlichen Abendessens (200 Gäste im großen Keller) die Küche des "Parlaments" genießen und küsste dem Koch später die Hände. Ich bin schon etwas in der Welt herumgekommen (über 500 Auslandsreisen in 180 Ländern) und habe auch einige gute Restaurants besucht und "Gala-Dinner" erlebt, aber noch nie habe ich so ein Kalbsmedaillon (mit Kräuterhaube, Kartoffel-Erbsen-Püree und zweierlei Spargel) gegessen. Vorspeise: Schaumsüppchen aus gelber und roter Paprika mit gebackenem Blumenkohl - ebenfalls hervorragend! Der Service war flott und sehr kundenfreundlich, Getränke und Weine waren ordentlich. Beim nächsten Hamburg-Besuch schaue ich hier privat vorbei, um IRGENDETWAS aus dieser Küche zu verkosten.

We visited the PARLAMENT restaurant in Hamburg's town hall on Große Johannisstraße during an ABI ball. There were around 250 guests present. The organizer organized everything well in these historic rooms, the food tasted good and the service team was friendly.

You can find a place here even without a reservation. Why? Because the service is very fast. Does this affect the quality of the food? No. The only thing I didn't like was sitting next to guest, but if you're sociable and don't have secret table conversations, parliament is for you.

Hello, are currently in parliament for the graduation ball. Several hundred people are invited and there are ONLY two lines for the buffet. Very bad and unprofessional. There is hardly any progress. Some high school graduates are supposed to come outside for a group photo and haven't been to the buffet yet. Badly organized. There are several balls held here, so I would like things to be better organized. It's a shame for such an important evening. There are some long faces to be seen. Beautiful location for celebrations of this kind. Bad organizer.

The location is beautifully staged! It is a vaulted cellar with a free-standing bar, visually really successful! The waiter was absolutely good and would rather have him in my company! A successful dinner! Thank you very much and see you soon!

Great atmosphere and very tasty food

As part of a conference, we reserved the cornerstone cellar for 150 people one evening. The entire agreement and coordination in advance went smoothly. The room was very well prepared and the reception of guests that evening was professional and pleasant. Food and service at dinner absolutely positive. We had many guests from abroad who were all extremely enthusiastic about the location. Therefore, absolute recommendation from me.

Bad service on the terrace. Had to ask 3 waitresses to pay, the answer was invariably Kollege kommt.

I have been very disappointed by my experience in this restaurant. I was actually looking forward to eating there for quite a long time and eventually could go for a business dinner just recently. Service was very poor, food less than average and drinks were poorly prepared and of low quality. The only thing that I found nice was the decoration and the place. I highly disrecommend this restaurant.

Gezellige zaak. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. Alles ging redelijk vlot maar ook weer niet te snel. Het voorgerecht en het hoofdgerecht waren goed van smaak en schappelijke porties. Ook voor de prijs hoef je niet te laten. Verder is het centrum van Hamburg in de restaurants erg druk en erg vol gedurende de etenstijden. Deze zaak was ook vol maar bleef gezellig.

We ate at “Parliament” for the first time on Thursday. The food was great: fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared and lovingly presented. But what made the evening special was the service. Our waitress was extremely attentive but never intrusive. The only thing I could complain about was the noise level in the restaurant, but that is certainly due to the location itself and that cannot be changed by the restaurant. We were completely satisfied.

Old cellar vault in an exciting restaurant location. The service is very attentive and the food came quickly (less than 10 minutes) and was delicious. We were there without a reservation and on a Friday.

Classic tourist spot right next to the town hall in downtown Hamburg. Food is average - the schnitzel actually only tasted like breading. The Königsbergers tasted like a ready meal. All in all, nothing special.

Actually at most 1 star because the food was extremely bad! The 2 small meat roulades were totally dry, had probably been warmed up for ages, the red cabbage had probably been in the pot for days and was extremely bad, red cabbage can't taste bad! I would fire the chef on the spot, without mercy! Such an extremely bad meal in this house...it really couldn't be more embarrassing! The 3 stars only because the waiter was very friendly, attentive and very nice! The waiter, a Vietnamese man, really knows something about his work, many waiters can learn something from him! My express thanks to the great waiter! Result.....the chef knows nothing about his job! BUT... .the waiter, to whom I wish all the best! It's interesting that in this house, town hall, people treat themselves to such a very bad cook, which is incomprehensible, the sales must first be in the basement before you react! Don't even eat the food for free, it's better to avoid it!!!

The waiter service is terrible. They take a long time between dishes. You see people who have arrived later and leave before you. They forgot the main courses, also the desserts, we saw how they served people who had arrived later. At the next table, 5 people, they serve soup to one, then drinks for everyone, and the first course for the rest... everyone looking at the waiters to see what was happening. Anyway, our opinion, a disaster...

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant! DAs essen ist traditionell, die Bedienung freundlich und auf zack und das Ambiente ist fantastisch! Für die Lage und das, was man bekommt sind die Preise moderat!
