Delicious food at a good price-performance ratio with good service. Definitely recommended. For me this belongs in the category of home-style food. 😃👍

Schweinske is solid and bourgeois. You don't get star cuisine there, but the food is tasty and still affordable. You get bread while you wait, which I personally think is very nice. However, the dip tasted more like salad dressing and garlic butter or something similar would have been nice. But you can't get a pre-snack like that everywhere, so I don't want to complain. :) The fried potatoes are really tasty.

Hi, When asked what I would change, here are two to three sentences and a reconsidered assessment. Basically I'm happy with Schweinkse. The service is great and always nice so far, so another point for 5 stars 😊 The ambience is quite good and deserves the 4 stars. For 5 stars, everything has to be right, which is highly subjective. The food is (for me) a bit bland and boring but generally okay. Some more original cuisine would be interesting. (By that I don't mean vegan) Here, too, I rarely give 5 stars because I would have to lick my fingers afterwards.

I was in Hamburg for almost a week and was here twice - so I liked it 😊 I was served quickly, there was bread with a delicious dip in advance - and you didn't have to wait long for the main course either. I ate the normal size pepper schnitzel twice (also available in XL for just under 5 euros more), the portion was more than enough, the schnitzel was absolutely perfect and the pepper sauce was a dream. The fries were also delicious, the side salad was good/okay, couldn't quite keep up with the rest of the food, but that was absolutely bearable. Full 5 stars for the food. Together with a large Alster, I was just over 20 euros, absolutely fair in my opinion. I will definitely eat here again next time I stop in Hamburg. Top!

We ended up here by chance and were so happy that we went there again the next day. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. The service is super nice and helpful. There were two people in service on Sunday morning and it was busy. The two of them didn't know where to pack first and were friendly despite the stress. Maybe you should plan for one more person in service.

Super tasty food, value for money...I would have gladly paid more for that... Schnitzel is super tender and to the point, the fries are fresh with a bite, no limp things and the salad is freshly prepared. Service very friendly, nice and accommodating. Highly recommended. Definitely come back.

First of all, the food was super delicious and you can only praise the kitchen. The service was so below average but the lady apparently wasn't having a good day, which I can understand as a restaurateur myself. However, there was hardly any excuse to listen. My companions each wanted a hot drink with oat milk, which was clearly not in stock, for whatever reason. When we asked for the bill, the lady came quickly with the receipt, but then she asked whether we wanted to pay separately or together. Otherwise it was quite empty and, as I said, quite acceptable for early morning. Price-performance ratio was also okay

Great for vegans who want to eat with meat eaters

Went there today with 5 people for dinner and 7 p.m. The restaurant was filled with guests and the Lieferando suppliers took over. We briefly informed the counter that we had reserved a table for 5. Then we looked into the clever book. A skeptical look through the store to see if there was anything available. We were then able to get a table for four and then organized a fifth chair ourselves in the restaurant. Then nothing more happened. After a good half hour the service person came and asked if we wanted drinks. We then ordered a raspberry spritzer, a Pepsi, an apple spritzer and a Spezi and since happy hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. there was a jumbo-sized zombie. 20 minutes later the drinks were there, but the zombie wasn't a jumbo. Okay, that can happen. Requests for food were taken into account. And then nothing happened for 1 1/2 hours. We asked about the rolls that should come with each main course. Which, according to the service person, hasn't been available since 6 p.m. When the food finally came after 1 1/2 hours of waiting, they said that there were no more fried potatoes and that everyone had fries on them. Tip: pass this information on to the customer before you serve and offer an alternative. We would be offered dip as compensation, which no one wanted. The question that then arose was that it took 1 1/2 hours for 2 hamburger schnitzels, a paprika schnitzel and 2 curry sausages each with fries??? Other tables that ordered after us had food and drinks earlier. While smoking, I approached a family who also came from this restaurant and asked how long they had waited for their food. The answer was almost an hour. Okay, we then ordered a second round of drinks, for which we had to call the waitress over because she was definitely too busy and couldn't keep an eye on everything. Second round was 2 small Pina Coladas and a Jumbo Zombie as it was still happy hour. This time the zombie came as a jumbo and so did the Pina Coladas. While we were talking, two people from our group noticed a mouse scurrying through the play area. The bottom line is that if you really want to eat something comfortably and don't want to wait hours and be very disappointed, it's best to avoid this shop. My full respect to the service staff who remained friendly despite the guests complaining and apologized for the inconvenience. And I hope your concert tomorrow will strengthen you for hopefully less stressful days. And to the boss of this shop: you should be a little ashamed of scheduling a waitress there alone on a Saturday evening.

Food was mediocre, the waiting time for food was a disaster. We only waited 20 minutes with children to be able to order, the food was with us around 90 minutes after we ordered. The shop wasn't really full and it was difficult to get drinks...

We were there for lunch, the service and food was okay. But there was a mouse running around in the restaurant, whereupon we spoke to the waitress, who then said, "That's our house mouse"! That's not possible at all, you really have to act and not downplay it!

Unfortunately the restaurant disappointed us a little. The food wasn't bad, but somehow we were hoping for more. The hamburgers were tasty and well made, but the schnitzels didn't meet our expectations. The fries could have been crispier and the sauce unfortunately tasted a lot like instant. On the other hand, the food was cheap- As written, the food isn't bad, but unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations.

In order to serve food and drinks in a shorter time, more service staff should be hired (that's my impression as a guest). Riesige Lob an Kelnnerin leider Name hab ich nicht, eine Dame mit helle Haare wir waren am 19.10 dort, einfach so net , freundlich , hilfsbereit, wir waren mit 5 Kinder kann Mann verstehen wie laut und chaotisch war, aber sie hat sofort gesagt das ist alles normal und ok, wir sollen einfach unsere Abend genießen , weiter so und wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen !

Really recommended. The day before I visited Schweinske in the main train station. Conclusion - at the HBF you can easily get rolls - in Lübecker Starsse - with poppy seeds and sunflower seeds, like everywhere else in the past. And even at Luxussau there was only 1 slice of sausage and cheese at the train station - in Lübecker Starsse there were two each. Not to forget the service, which was friendly and quick even though the establishment was comparatively full!!

Ich habe noch nie eine dermaßen schlechte, unfreundliche und freche Bedienung erlebt. Das Essen kam kalt, falsch und unvollständig auf den Tisch. Die Qualität war einfach nur schlecht. Auf Reklamationen bekamen wir nur freche Antworten. Nie wieder.

Although this place is called "Piggy" and features pig statues around the place, what attracted me to dine here twice was the vegetarian options. Both the veggie schnitzel and veggie burger are very tasty and there is a decent selection of wine (I plumped for a carafe of Mosel) and beer (Krombacher is soooo refreshing) on tap. Portions are generous and you get some home-baked bread and a garlicky dip as an appetiser. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely dine here again next time I visit Hamburg.

How can you not flatten a schnitzel????????? Here it is done, schnitzel as thick as a steak, not possible at all and the cellar beer is or was awesome!!! The waiter was very nice but the fact that he didn't know that you can eat a schnitzel thinner was a mystery to me?! And all of this is ridiculous for almost €30!

A good place to spend time and refresh yourself. There was one thing I just didn’t like – the drawing of Putin. I understand that this was drawn 30 years ago, but as a Russian citizen I am allergic to Putin. Even Hitler's portrait could probably only be tolerated as a joke. Invite me and I'll draw you something different.

Schweinske is something for young and old. The atmosphere is cozy, not upscale, the service is very friendly and responds to requests. The menu is small but nice. Whether you want to eat meat or prefer a vegetarian option... the menu offers both. The many extras that you can order are also great. I can only recommend the restaurant!

We were there around 4 p.m. when it was 31 degrees. There wasn't much going on. 3 tables occupied. So free choice. We chose indoors as the outdoor area is fully exposed to the sun and is on a busy road! After the waitress saw us and allocated the seat, no one came for over 10 minutes. The table was still dirty and crumbly. We decided to go. Even then, the counter worker just looked at us but didn't say anything. That's not a service for me. I'm used to something else. I give the food three stars even if I didn't eat it.

We had to wait a long time for our food, which wasn't ideal especially with children when they were hungry. The schnitzel tasted bland and could have used a little salt and pepper. But it was juicy. The fried potatoes were very fatty. We were very disappointed.

We went to dinner very late. They treated us wonderfully and we ate on the very pleasant terrace. The escalope and sausage are very correct.

Greasy schnitzel and ready-made salad. Unfortunately it has been dismantled over the years. You can't even cut the currywurst with the knives. The hard-working service was the only bright spot.

As in almost every Schweinske, the food was great, Instead of the typical bread there was only a simple roll but you can ignore that. The man at the bar actually served me almost alone and was very, very friendly, and he also served most of the guests. The actual waitress had no idea, the lady seemed very arrogant, and I asked her to pay because I was a bit stressed and had to wait 15 minutes because she found private conversations more important than the guests. I hope that this is also seen and that the tips are distributed correctly

Visited a Schweinske for the first time. In terms of furnishings, it's more of a fast food schnitzel restaurant. Reminded me of a rest stop on the highway. We were there on a weekday and it was relatively loud in the restaurant because there was live football. Service friendly and relatively quick. The food is reasonably priced and also tastes good. We had schnitzel Napoli with fries and salad. You can definitely stop by every now and then on a business trip.

Trevligt ställe och trevlig servitris. Tomt på folk. Fanns en liten hörna för barn. Åt en Caesar sallad och en Napolitansk Snitsel. Barnen delade på en barnportion pasta. Mkt mat för rimlig peng. Inklusive 2 öl och 3 läsk kostade allt ca 600 SEK. Minus var att golvet inte var ordentligt städat. Saknade mer parmesanost och krutonger i salladen. En Cesar sallad innehåller inte tomat eller rödlök.

Inzwischen war das Essen kalt (beide Essen) und als wir reklamierten bekamen wir als Antwort: Wir können es Ihnen noch einmal aufwärmen. Die Entschuldigung der Bedienung war lapidar" Ich bin Alleine. Dieses Lokal wird uns garantiert nicht mehr als Gast begrüßen können.

When five of us were there for the last time at 9 p.m. a few months ago, we were chased out in an unfriendly manner, saying the kitchen was closed and you could only get a drink quickly, even though we as neighbors had been good customers for years, at least 2 or 3 times weekly, especially dinners were open longer at night and the staff were nicer and friendlier😢Hopefully, Schweinske Hohenfelden has been able to improve everything in the meantime👍😇

Wir sind zur Mittagszeit hier essen gewesen. Ich habe die Würstchen in der Erbsensuppe als zu lange in der extrem heißen Suppe liegend empfunden. Sie waren sehr weich. Für das vegetarische Schnitzel hatte mein Mann die Beilage von Fritten zu Bratkartoffeln umbestellt. Hier hätte die Bedienung erwähnen müssen, dass die Kartoffeln mit Speck gemacht werden. Das Essen kam super schnell. Ich finde 9€ für einen Erbseneintopf und 14€ für ein vegetarisches Schnitzel auch eher teuer.
