The view and the peace and quiet are fantastic! Just drank, nothing to eat.

Good selection of delicious food (Labskaus is great!!). Very friendly and attentive service (Basara 🙂). Beautifully located on the Elbe hiking trail.

I was here with my dog, and they immediately provided me with a water bowl and a small plate of treats. I ordered the vegan nuggets from the daily special, and they were truly delicious. The side salad was the highlight—so crisp, and the dressing was amazing. The portion was very filling. All in all, highly recommended. And I almost forgot, the staff was very attentive and friendly. A visit here brightens up the day.

Beautiful location right on the Elbe beach with a fantastic view of the Elbe, ships, and the Airbus factory. Delicious fish sandwiches and hot dishes, a wide selection of drinks, and friendly service – an insider tip!

Unfortunately, the fried fish is frozen, and the prices are very high: €18.50 for a fried fish sandwich and two fruit juice spritzers. Service is excellent, the ladies very courteous and quick. Great location.

This place is exceptionally beautiful; the view of the Elbe is fantastic. The food is plentiful and delicious; we only had a large currywurst and fries. The sauce was sufficient, much more than usual; you're usually left with nothing after the first half of the sausage. We heard in passing that there were some problems with the food, but we noticed it because the manager took care of it personally... it was very well received. We felt comfortable. We'll definitely be back.

We went there yesterday for lunch with four people for my husband's birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. We had a lovely table, and the parasol was put up especially for us, so we could sit in the shade. Our server was super nice and very relaxed. She checked in every now and then to see if we needed anything. Very attentive! Overall, we were very impressed with the staff. Everyone was very friendly and relaxed with the guests, but also with each other, and they supported and helped one another. You don't see that everywhere. The food was excellent and very attractively presented. The coffee and desserts were also extremely delicious. In conclusion: If you want to have a wonderful time with good food and unwind with a magnificent view of the Elbe, this is the place for you.

A true gem – creative, delicious, and with a whole lot of heart! Dill sind Döns is one of those places you discover once and never want to miss again. With great attention to detail and a generous portion of North German charm, the food is cooked, served, and told. The dishes are original, full of flavor, and demonstrate how modern yet down-to-earth good cooking can be.

Unfortunately, we can't rate the food because we only stopped for a drink. However, the service was extremely friendly and cheerful. Always with a smile on their faces. Great atmosphere! The view from the terrace is excellent. We'd definitely go back. Loyalty points included with your order.

We went to Dill sin Döns today to celebrate the baptism of our friend's son – there were 10 of us in total. The food was truly delicious and served fresh. Although the restaurant's interior is quite small, we all found space and felt comfortable. The friendly and attentive service was particularly positive – the staff were very accommodating and ensured we had a wonderful time. A cozy place with a warm welcome – thank you for the wonderful day!

A good place to look at the Elbe and eat well. The tarte flambée is very good and also the Leberkäse with potato salad. Of course the weather has to cooperate.

Be careful, there were fried pieces of fish in the vegan nuggets. If you eat vegan or vegetarian, you shouldn't come here. In addition, the food is not homemade and is therefore extremely expensive.

Great restaurant on the banks of the Elbe, wonderful views of the Elbe and the ships passing by. I was surprised at how many tables and chairs there were outside! We had barely sat down before we were handed menus by a very nice young waitress. I have to say... plenty of choice. We decided on a fresh waffle with eggnog... Highly recommended. Afterwards a cold beer in wonderful weather. The young man who served us was attentive and very friendly, someone else enjoys his job! Thank you for the nice hospitality.

The waiter who works there, an older Italian, is so annoying. He runs around saying “Hello, hello” and doesn’t stop annoying the guests. It's a shame the terrace is otherwise very nice.

Simple restaurant with a large terrace facing the Elbe. Small and cozy inside. To eat there is simple cuisine (fried fish, currywurst with fries, salads), all in decent portions. Everything is delivered by a very friendly service. I always like to come here for a refreshing break when we walk from Blankenese to Teufelsbrück or vice versa. Update, hoping to be able to delete this on the next visit: unfriendly service and why are you suddenly no longer allowed to pay cashless???

How could it be that we only tried this cafe/restaurant after so long? Lived directly above and always walked past. The service is fantastic here and everything is beautifully presented and tastes really good. Our new regular restaurant during the day.

Waiting 45 minutes for a waffle in the nicest weather, only to be told on the second request that there are no more because the waffle we ordered went to another customer. I don't want to say another word about the bad coffee here. Really disappointing!

Unfortunately, I had the worst dining experience here in ages yesterday. After we were served only after 15 minutes and then only got our drinks after another 20 minutes, I had to wait over fifty minutes for my food (a French fry). I politely reminded the waiter about my order a total of four times. The neighboring tables who ordered after me received their food before me. When I remembered, I was always reassured with the motto “just relax, your food is coming soon, you don’t have to remind me”. After fifty minutes I've had enough because we're cold and I go into the restaurant and say politely that I want to pay. The waiter then shouts my order into the kitchen (turns out he just forgot). I say no, I don't want to eat or pay anymore and he shouts my order back into the kitchen. In order not to get the food against my will, I firmly but politely say that I want to pay. He then tells me “not like that” several times. I find that to be an absolute disgrace. I receive neither an apology nor an offer to get anything on the house and pay EUR 6.90 for a wheat and EUR 6.90 for a hot organ and go home in a bad mood. Thanks for nothing!!

Unfortunately the classic tourist trap. The location and view of the Elbe are great and the staff are all very friendly. But that’s about it for the positive. The friendly waitress practically forgets everything immediately, the cake is cheap frozen goods and the cappucino tastes like old beans from a fully automatic machine. The prices are such that you could also go to Louis C. Jacob 300m further ahead.

We waited 20 minutes without being served. Then we left hungry.

Kaffee unterirdisch billig, kein Geschmack. Latte Macchiato und Cappuccino haben nichts damit gemein, leider wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Das zu überteuerten Preisen. Hervorragend ist der Blick auf die Elbe, aber die ist ja sowieso da. Wir kommen leider nicht mehr wieder.

There you only pay for the view. A piece of non-homemade cake (industrial goods) for €4.50 is a bit too much.

Nice and cozy on the Elbe Delicious beer after the bike ride

You can sit there very well, watch ships on the Elbe and, if you're lucky, see the Beluga (the transport plane) from Airbus-Industrie (other side of the Elbe) taking off or landing. Of course, there is also a lot of culinary options here.

Superb location on the banks of the Elbe Peaceful place even if you see huge cargo containers passing by, they surprisingly don't make any noise!

Please bring plenty of time and plenty of seating. We actually wanted to drink and eat something because what was served looked really tasty. Unfortunately, the service is friendly but very slow. We waited 10 minutes until someone came and we could order our drinks, we ordered a cocktail and two beers. The cocktail was served after 30 minutes and the beers after 40 minutes. We weren't taken care of, no one stopped by or asked. When we went in to pay we were told to wait at the table. After another 10 minutes we were able to pay and leave. It's a real shame that everything took so long.

Rather very rustic and old fashioned. There's nothing wrong with the food. It tastes ok, but is rather plain, as the clean sanitary facilities also show. and not particularly cheap. The service staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The view makes it even more worthwhile for me as a young person from Hamburg.

Service was very unfriendly and inattentive, fish and chips were definitely not fresh, but potato wedges and ready-made "fish" that mainly consisted of fried breading.

The spaghetti carbonara was super tasty. The service was friendly and humorous. The view of the Elbe allows you to watch ships passing by.

Just crazy €3.50 for a can of Radler that costs €0.89 in the supermarket. It's sad that you have to deduct €1.50 from people and you would have earned enough from it. On top of that, the staff is extremely unfriendly, I can't recommend it to anyone ever again. Better go somewhere else.

Este es un gran lugar para sentarse y relajarse si usted está caminando o en bicicleta por las orillas del río Elba. Hay una gran terraza al aire libre desde la que se puede ver el transitado tráfico fluvial y aéreo mientras disfruta de refrescos. Teníamos una cerveza y patatas fritas para compartir. Las papas fritas cortadas eran excelentes. Se proporciona agua fría de forma gratuita.

Es gibt nichts Schöneres, als auf die Elbe zu schauen und bei Dill sin Dons draußen entspannt einen Aperol zu trinken. Oder ein Zeugnisessen mit den Enkeln zu veranstalten. Oder den frischen Matjes mit den Spitzen-Bratkartoffeln zu essen. Oder die Süßkartoffel-Pommes Frites. Oder im Winter drinnen Grünkohl. Der Blick auf vorbei fahrende Containerschiffe oder auf startende und landende Airbus-Maschinen sind dann eine zusätzliche Abwechslung. Ach ja: Der Service: Stets sehr freundlich.

Enjoyed delicious food on a warm day with a view of the Elbe. Very friendly service, wanted to leave a tip with EC card payment, unfortunately it wasn't possible because I didn't have any cash with me.

We sat on the terrace in the best sunshine and had a very good meal. I ate the veal schnitzel with potatoes and cucumber salad, my husband ate the redfish fillet. The service was friendly and the food was very tasty!

Our absolute favorite place on the Elbe. There is no nicer, more relaxed place to sit. The service is unparalleled in Hamburg. Keep it up, you're great!!!!

We were there to watch the inlet parade. It was packed. The outside area has been redesigned and is very beautiful. The service (Basera) was super nice and attentive despite the crowd. Every guest was greeted warmly and all wishes were fulfilled. The meal took a while but considering how busy it was, that's no surprise! We had a lovely afternoon and will be back!

Had a beer and currywurst there. The food was ok and the service was quick, even though it was very busy.

The service is horrible. We pointed out to the staff several times that we hadn't ordered anything yet. Asked if we needed to come forward to place the order. Every time it was said that someone was coming soon. Guests who arrived after us were served and even received their orders. We left after half an hour. It's a real shame and not worth a second visit. The view saved the stay.

Unfortunately I can't say much about the food as we couldn't place an order after asking several times. Luckily you don't have to walk far to find an alternative.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the Elbe. When we visited, the weather was great, it was very full and the service was therefore very busy. Drinks were brought quickly, but the waiting time for food, a simple salad and pasta, was unreasonable. The food was ok.

Nice restaurant right on the Elbe. Employees are nice. I just had a drink there. It is important if it is very windy that you should hold your drink glass in your hand otherwise it will tip over. All in all, it's a good place to stop off.
