Nice, sophisticated atmosphere; delicious food but a bit overpriced. Service friendly but at times a bit clumsy.

Friendly service in a very pleasant atmosphere. A simple but good menu. We felt extremely comfortable and will be back.

There were three of us there, and we each had the Wiener Schnitzel. The schnitzel itself was good, but the side dishes (potato and cucumber salad) tasted too much of vinegar. The staff was unpleasantly pushy.

Great setting, concise, creative menu and efficient service - perfect for a week day lunch. We were only given the drinks menu upon request which was a little odd as we were looking forward to study the wine menu but other than that 5 stars. The evening menu looked delicious we and will definitely be back for dinner.

Eating at Rialto is always a treat. The schnitzel is a great classic at lunch, but the vegetarian dish also won me over again. Plus, the beautiful location and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit!

Delicious food and friendly service in a beautiful ambience.

Whew. Amazing place for the end of summer -you can eat on the bridge overlooking the waterway. The catch of the day was Norwegian Salmon. Done perfectly, and perfectly complemented. And the dessert, a lemon lime mouse, I am not sure how they did it, but it was all soft edges, none of the razer sharp tartness you might expect with that ingredient list. Found it by walking by. Highly recommend.

Wir hatten zu viert im Rialto einen wunderbaren Abend. Besonders hervorzuheben war die ausgesprochen freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Auch die Speisen aus der kleinen Karte entsprachen durchweg einem hohen Standard und haben uns viel Freude gemacht. Und nicht zuletzt die Weinkarte ließ keinen unserer Wünsche offen. Gerne wieder.

A beautiful place! The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. The Wiener schnitzel was delicious and arrived very quickly. Everything was great, the staff were perfect, but the waiter behind the bar was rather reserved and just broke glasses and clinked bottles and glasses very loudly, which was very annoying!!

The location and ambiance are very good. I was here for lunch and opted for the Wiener Schnitzel, with salad and dessert for €30. The main course was okay, but unfortunately, this top-notch restaurant doesn't even come close to making it into the top ten for Wiener Schnitzel. It's just okay.

We had a business lunch at the Rialto. The location is fantastic; we had a table by the window overlooking the canal. The service was excellent. The food was very high quality and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful evening; I highly recommend the Rialto.

Despite all my understanding of the difficulties of running a restaurant, I don't understand why this wonderfully and brilliantly run restaurant has to charge 10 euros for a bottle of water or 15 euros for 1/4 liter of wine. This is legitimate highway robbery.

We had dinner here at the end of a great city trip to Hamburg. Everything was just wonderful. From the location right on the water, the view of the canal from the table, to the very professional yet friendly and friendly service, and of course the food, everything was just right. We recommend this to anyone traveling to Hamburg at any time.

I feel at home there with nice people, good food and a great atmosphere

We had reserved a table for 20 people - for a company event. Booking confirmation and menu selection were available. 4 weeks later our booking was canceled. They booked the restaurant elsewhere and we were kicked out. We should look for another date. What should we say to that? Customer service is subpar and we will definitely never ask again. Finding a location for 20 people at Christmas time was anything but easy. Food and ambience cannot be rated because it didn't come to that. Be careful with booking confirmations - they have no security!

Letzter Abend in Hamburg. Tisch online gebucht, schlimme Überraschung. Fast leeres Lokal hätte uns warnen sollen! Die junge Servicedame vollkommen inkompetent. Sie vergaß die Getränkebestellung. Ihr Kollege, sehr nett, entschuldigte sich und bracht nach rund 20 Minuten seit der Bestellung die fehlenden Getränke. Tee und das Glas Wein gehen auf das Haus, entschuldigte er sich vorbildlich. Zum Essen: 1. Gang Suppe, recht gut, aber die Fischsuppe war schon recht frisch. 2. Gang: Ente und Wiener Schnitzel erreichen vielleicht gerade noch Mensa-Qualität. Dessert: Unmöglich! Tiefkühlware. Preis-Leistung ungenügend, vollkommen überzogen. Man kann nur mehr von einer Touristenabzocke sprechen, wie sie in Venedig nicht schlechter sein könnte. Schade für Hamburg!

We had an extremely lovely evening at the Rialto. Our table was right by the window facing the Fleet, perfect and quiet (also for our dog, who was looked after very attentively). The food (especially the tartare and the schnitzel) was very good, the service was extremely friendly and quick. We will definitely come back.

I appreciate the Rialto as a guarantee of excellent quality food and drinks, fabulously competent yet unobtrusive service, a wonderful ambience for my taste at lunchtime and in the evening - and: very fair prices [e.g. B. Three-course lunch: €30]. You have to look for a "gem" like this in Hamburg's gastronomic scene for a long time! Thank you for existing! Thank you very much for not having to let us out at 3 p.m.! A wonderful restaurant with very personal service and the option to reserve a table by telephone. Uncomplicated, delicious and imaginative cuisine, very friendly, attentive and courteous service. Totally recommended, I've enjoyed coming here for years.

Ambience only deducted the star because the restaurant can't do anything about that, it was completely full and therefore there was a very high level of background noise.. Very good establishment. I’ll say right away that the prices are high, but it’s worth it. The snacks between meals were very tasty. And the food itself was of course delicious. I liked the unusual presentation of tea, because they give you a bowl so you can brew it with the taste you want. The staff was very nice, helping us choose wine and so on. That's why we left them a good tip.

Very enthusiastic about the food every time, very good quality. Tatar is really great as a starter - we love it. Rear dining area could be made a little more “rounded”. Not as comfortable as the front. Service staff are always friendly and pay attention to the guests - keep it up.

Good location, nice ambience, food was mediocre. We hadn't even ordered the wine and had just gotten the appetizer when the starter arrived. The comments were answered with an arrogant instruction. The price-performance ratio is not special. Small menu, standard dishes relatively expensive.

I recently visited the Rialto restaurant in Hamburg and absolutely loved my experience. The menu offers an excellent selection and I chose the delicious Coconut Sugar Snap Pea Soup, which was a wonderful combination of exotic flavor and fresh, crunchy texture. The anti-pasti platter with fresh burrata was a real taste experience - the creamy cheese harmonized perfectly with the various pickled vegetables. For my main course I chose the Wiener Schnitzel, which was cooked perfectly - crispy and tender! The saddle of veal with it was simply heavenly and literally melted in your mouth. Another surprise was the fried pike perch, which was served fresh and tasteful. To top it all off, I enjoyed the Toblerone mousse, which is an absolute dream for chocolate lovers - light yet intense in taste. The atmosphere at Rialto is equally inviting, and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

We sat outside in bistro style, which is fine, but if we had to say anything, it would be that we expected a little more comfort in the chairs given the price level of the food. Vi fik deres 3-retters menu, og det var virkelig undervældende. Betjeningen var meget langsom, måtte selv flere gange spørge efter det vin vi havde bestilt. Hovedretten var med risotto, men ris var under-kogt, og da vi påtegnede dette, sagde de blot, beklager. Så kom desserten, som var med sorbet, og der var stykker af is rundt om hele kuglen af sorbet, og bær under var også frosne… dette sagde de var normalt for en sorbet.. De forventede vi stadig skulle betale for alt maden efter dette, og da vi brokkede os blev vi mødt med uhøflighed og fjendtlig tone. Kan absolut ikke anbefale..
