Restaurant Feuervogel in Hamburg

We had cocktails each with a pasta dish and a chocolate soufflé for dessert. The food came surprisingly quickly and my companion had a stomach bug after eating... the food tasted like ready-made food! But the service was great! So my advice: Drinks are fine, but I wouldn't recommend eating.

A real recommendation. The Hungarian goulash for lunch today was great. The service was extremely friendly, quick and courteous, as was the ambience. Pleasant. It's definitely worth a visit in the evening. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

There are always plenty of portions to fill you up, and always delicious too! But if in the end instead of 21 euros (turkey giros and cherry spritzer) I get 23 euros and I only notice it when I get home, it's not so funny. I don't think it's nice of the lady!

I was here with my family. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was therefore very good. The food, we had the cheeseburger twice, the chicken burger once and the lumberjack steak. We ate at Feuervogel with a small group (over ten people) and had mixed impressions overall. As a starter, a bruschetta with parmesan flakes was served, which was attractively presented and tasted okay. For the main courses, someone in the group chose a grilled platter with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were acceptable, but with quite large pieces of onion, some of which had to be chopped up yourself. The beef was a bit tough, the chicken was dry and the turkey tasted rather unspectacular - for almost €25 you would have expected a higher quality. Another aspect that was missing was a small aperitif at the beginning. In many restaurants you get a piece of bread with a delicious sauce or other small delicacies in advance to whet your appetite - we were missing that a bit too. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. Drinks that were ordered were sometimes forgotten or not taken at all. In addition, empty glasses were not picked up, so the table became more and more full, and the plates were only cleared away late, even though the service staff was nearby. The desserts, which tasted good, should be highlighted positively. The cocktails were also okay, although many found that too much ice was used. Since most of the group weren't impressed with the taste, they probably won't come back. There's just that certain something missing - be it juicier meat, more interesting fried potatoes or a special note in the recipes. So overall, a solid but not outstanding experience.

We were there on February 14th, even though it was very full, we still managed to get a seat. The staff was very friendly, the food came very quickly and tasted very good. This week we returned because we were so impressed with the restaurant. The waitress Lina and her colleague were very friendly and patient with us, the food again arrived very quickly and tasted excellent. Overall, we are very satisfied and would recommend the restaurant.

We've been here once for brunch so far and were completely satisfied. The offering is very generous and is constantly replenished without seeming overloaded. The waitresses were always very friendly, although they seemed overwhelmed at times. Not because of their ability but because there are too few. In terms of taste, everything we treated ourselves to was also totally fine. One drawback is the narrowness of the buffet. When there are children jumping around between people and sprinting through the crowded restaurant, I find it annoying. But the hosts can't do anything about it, it's a matter of education.

Thanks to a reservation with 10 people + dog, we got a nice, cozy place and delicious food (a la carte) on New Year's Eve.

We ate at Feuervogel on New Year's Eve and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, didn't take long at all and the staff were really attentive and nice. All in one a great visit. If I had to comment on something, it would be the music, which we found to be very loud. People could hardly understand each other. But it wasn't too tragic.

Were here for a community meeting and the food was excellent. The quantities were great and everything was fresh and very tasty. The waitresses always had a relaxed attitude on their lips and the food always arrived at the table quickly and very hot. The next time I visit Hamburg again, I will probably stop by here again for dinner.

The two of us had lunch at Feuervogel on a Friday afternoon. The service was super friendly, not intrusive and made sure everything was right at exactly the right intervals. As a starter we had the pizza bread with 2 different dips - delicious. As a main course, the Caesar salad and a vegetable stir-fry. It wasn't a culinary experience but it was filling and perfectly fine. The toilet was clean, the chairs could be a bit more comfortable but all in all I definitely recommend it.

Cocktails and drinks After dinner we decided to end the evening with a few cocktails. The cocktail menu had an interesting selection and we ordered the first two drinks. These were good, but not overwhelming. You could tell the mixology was solid, but the cocktails didn't leave a lasting impression. After those first two cocktails, we started ordering a little more intensively. Unfortunately, it soon became clear that, although the drinks were appealing, they were not achieving the desired effect. The cocktails just weren't strong enough, and despite our efforts to lighten the mood, we didn't really feel drunk.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Wandsbek. Very tasty food, good location and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place.

Cozy place, many halls, we were in the second one with big tables. We were a big company. Very convenient, good service, convenient location, nice interior.

It was really tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. At the table we had pizza, a firebird pan and a dish with cream mushroom sauce... The service was okay. When we ordered our drinks we didn't feel noticed for a long time, considering the place wasn't full. All in all it was good for our dinner and we would come back.

The pizzas ("Mexico" and "Broccoli" were properly topped, the width of the edges was tolerable, the dough was of normal thickness and there was even mozzarella on it. The penne arrabiata was okay, but a bit soggy, and came without parmesan sprinkles. As a Hamburg tourist, we looked for a restaurant near our hotel and visited the Firebird on recommendation. Friendly staff and great food, as well as delicious cocktails at happy hour, gave us a wonderful evening (in our case it was our 40th wedding anniversary).

We were happy to have found this great restaurant. Food was delicious, atmosphere was very pleasant. Staff really nice. Lg. To the Bochum boy who even asks whether the drinks should be with or without ice 😉. If we are in Hamburg again, we will definitely come back
