First of all, the most important thing: the food tastes good. I had Benedict, my kids had pancakes, we had a mango shake and a smoothie. Everything was delicious and that's what going to a restaurant is all about: eating delicious food. And if you want that, you've come to the right place.
What was often mentioned in the comments, namely the “unfriendliness towards children”, is true. You're not allowed to go in with a stroller, even if there's nothing going on inside. Not even to pick up the food he ordered. We were lucky that the weather was good outside, otherwise we were unfortunately left behind here.
There was an unpleasant encounter with the boss. My two children (2 and 3 years old) ran indoors onto the stairs (as children do). The boss came out completely angry and told me that I should make sure that my children don't play on the stairs. Anyone who has children of their own knows that you don't always have control over your children. This situation could definitely have been solved better.
The waiter, however, is really very nice and understanding. I only gave him two stars for the service because he is really, really nice.
Conclusion: Good food, so I can imagine coming here again.
I can only recommend it. Very friendly and attentive staff. Quality of the food excellent. Price/performance ratio is right. Quantity more than sufficient. Large, varied menu.
If you're looking for a restaurant with great value for money, this is the place for you. The buffet offers a huge selection for every taste. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere round out the positive experience. A clear recommendation!
Food was pretty bad, all the “tapas” we tried were tasteless. Service was ok. Do not recommend, choose any other Portuguese restaurant in the neighbourhood.
Great ambience by the water. Service also very good. The laab gai was extremely tasty and super authentic, the meat was very tender 8.5/10 and the papaya salad was super tasty 9/10. Unfortunately there were fresh green pepper and kaffir lime leaves in the Pad Kra pao moo, which definitely doesn't belong in the Pad Kra pao and just changes the taste too much, otherwise it was very tasty and the price was justified given the size, unfortunately only 5/10 due to the authenticity of the dish.
Thank you for the many years, for 1a. Food perfect service. After the shooting at the end of June 2024, we wish you all the best and all the best for the future.
We ordered the antipasti plate for EUR 14.90 and the five falafels for EUR 6.90 as well as the chorizo peppers. We waited three quarters of an hour for this. Chorizo didn't come at all. Everything else was a big joke. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos. The antipasti plate consisted of Mediterranean frozen vegetables and a white dip (no aioli as stated), which was partly black and had nothing to do with antipasti. The falafel wasn't freshly made either. And there was no mint yoghurt dip as stated. Price not justified for both. A big disappointment for us.
Stopped in for a short break, sat outside with a great view of the Elbe. The order had to be placed in the restaurant. A mini piece of cheesecake that wasn't even homemade was €5.50 and the small cup of coffee was €4.10, also in the upper price segment. In my opinion, it was completely exaggerated and there are other nice restaurants and cafes right by the harbor.
