There are plenty of Portuguese restaurants in the area, and we chose this one. I don't regret it. The food was delicious, something beautiful. Very fast, friendly and efficient service. We didn't wait an hour for orders. Even though there was a lot of traffic, the food takers came quickly. Great service great food, I recommend it. Literally no downsides

The restaurant if fine, nothing to complain, but nothing exciting. The portion is big, flavor is fine, price is fine. I really cannot find anything special to comment about.

We were looking forward to a great meal in the Portuguese Quarter because of the many good reviews - but unfortunately we were very disappointed. And that on Valentine's Day... The starters were already a failure: the Pimientos de Padrón were partially burnt and the seeds were inedible. The bacon-wrapped dates came with half raw bacon - that's not possible. Then the main courses: My partner had the rump steak with herb butter but it was an absolute disaster. Tough as a shoe sole and taste-wise a disappointment. There was also rice and fries, both of which were completely bland. I had the linguine with salmon - and was speechless (unfortunately not in a good way). No sauce, just dry pasta with a few pieces of salmon, some of which still had bones - just disgusting. And for €18? Absolutely overpriced! Then there was the service: our waiter was completely inattentive and seemed as if he had absolutely no interest in his job. No smile, no friendly gesture, just taking the order without emotion and thus spreading a bad atmosphere. (In case management wants to look at it, it was a younger, slightly heavier employee with a beard and messy hair.) Conclusion: Food extremely disappointing, service poor, price-performance below ground. We're definitely not coming back!

Nice Portuguese restaurant. We ate tapas and meat and were not disappointed. The food came very quickly and was super tasty. Very nice and courteous service. Unfortunately, the tables are a bit close together, which is why you can hear almost every word, so a little star deduction. Otherwise, we can really recommend dinner here!

We had lamb stew and rabbit, which tasted excellent. Slightly spicy, meat very tender with a fine sauce.

Just bad food. Unseasoned, thawed! Plates are not attractive. I don't understand what all the stars are for. And staff didn't smile

Very friendly staff and super delicious food. We opted for tapas and they were by far the best I've eaten! :)

The employees greeted us in a very friendly manner, which made us feel right at home. The experience in the restaurant continued so positively. The two of us decided on different tapas and were not disappointed. They were such delicious tapas that we have rarely eaten. I would particularly like to praise the homemade aioli. Only recommended.

Stopped in spontaneously. We had tappas including sweet potato fries, sardines and squid. Everything was very, very greasy and heavy on the stomach. The child had chicken with fries, although the meat was very dry. All in all, not convincing.

We ate there because of the good reviews. However, we cannot understand this. The tapas tasted exclusively of frozen products and the sauce of the patatas bravas tasted like a ketchup mixture.

Been there for the first time and I'm just thrilled. As a starter we had the fish soup and shrimps in garlic, it was incredibly delicious. As a main course, grilled salmon with lemon sauce and a mixed fish platter. It was delicious

We shared a meat dish with rice and potatoes between two, and a Catalan cream for dessert, everything was excellent in quality and quantity. Great service and very nice place in a very good location in Hamburg.

The taste is simply a dream. We chose fish stew, lamb rump and seafood spaghetti. The waiters were super quick and nice. We'd love to come back.

Nope. The Bolinhos de Bacalhão hardly had any fish and the rest was also rather poor. The waiters were more concerned with smoking.

Waiters were friendly, food arrived quickly and was delicious. The ambiance was nice - the space really makes you feel like you're in Portugal.

If you're in the mood for real fish or seafood in Hamburg, find the Portuguese quarter. There are of course more places to recommend, but Praca de Coimbra has a unique atmosphere. You just need to reserve a table for a busier evening.

I went to this restaurant with three colleagues. We had a great night there. The food was so good and tasty! The atmosphere was also nice. The only problem that I had was I drank the half of my beer and we went out to smoke and once we came back they took all the drinks away without asking ! That is why I reduced one star because of service but in general it was a good experience there and I recommend it to anyone who wants to try a Portuguese restaurant with delicious food in Hamburg.

Great Portuguese eatery! We had fish dishes that were absolutely delicious and sufficient. The price-performance ratio is good and you really feel like you are in Portugal. Drinks and food come quickly even though it's full, the waiters are really on their toes! It's best to reserve in advance! We'll be back on your next trip to Hamburg!

We have visited the restaurant for a weekday dinner. Vibe is great and the seafood is surprisingly tasty. We have ordered a seafood boat - a pricy order yet with the taste of the sauce, the generous portion, and the quality of the seafood, the marked price is a good deal 👍🏻 they claim that it’s a portion for 2 people. I personally think that it could easily feed 3-4 people 🥳 highly recommend

There were 5 people with the family on a Saturday, food and drinks came quickly. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. Therefore just a picture of the empty plate 😋 The octopus is recommended 👍🏻

Wow, the food was really good. I had rice soup with seafood (shrimp, lobster…) for at least 2 people for €62 Plus the house wine (Praca) for €22 which I can also recommend.

Visit on September 2nd, 2024 = price performance was right, although I was able to enjoy much better food in other Portuguese restaurants. What bothered me most that early evening, however, was the unfriendly service I've experienced in a restaurant in a long time! Grumpy, lurking at the table to take the order and later turning around to clear it away. No smile or friendly sounding tone. And strangely enough, it wasn't the only waiter who acted like that. Even at the neighboring tables. You could almost think they're full. Customers come by anyway. Honestly people, your neighbors in the Portuguese Quarter can do it much better. Improve urgently!

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr sehr leckeren Tapas Für uns gehört der Besuch zu jedem Hamburg Besuch dazu. Sehr freundliche Bedienung mit denen man auch sehr viel Spß haben kann. Ich kann die negativen Aussagen zur Freundlichkeit der Kellner nicht nachvollziehen. Aber wie heißt es so schön: Wie man in den Wald hineinruft so schallt es heraus. Für uns ist das Lokal Pflicht.

Ein sehr schönes einfaches, auch mit Außensitzplätzen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und das Essen wirklich ein Traum. Sehr gut gewürzt und vollkommen ausreichend bei einem sehr gutem Preisleistungsverhältnis. Fische und gute Fleisch/Fisch Qualität. Im Sommer sitz man ganz gemütlich draußen und genießt da Feeling im portugiesischem Viertel, falls man einen Platz ergattern kann. Wir haben von zwei sehr netten jungen Frauen ihren guten Platz zum Essen bekommen und sie nahmen Platz an dem kleineren Tisch, den wir hatten. Also nicht nur freundliches Personal, sondern auch nette Hamburger die freundlich ihren Platz an uns abtraten.

Premesso che sono appena tornato dopo diversi mesi i trasferta in terra iberica e forse ero abituato bene ma la paella Valenciana mi ha deluso.Piatto per due abbondante e basta ma nessuna emozione troppo slegata e insipida dove il pesce (poco) e la carne (tanta) stracotta e con poco sapore e un po' stopposa.Prezzo medio personale cortese ma tavoli piccoli e scomodo.

Wir saßen draußen und hatten und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Die Tapas sind wirklich zu empfehlen. Der Service macht manchmal einen etwas gestressten Eindruck - ist aber insgesamt dennoch in Ordnung.

A little refresher for our Portugal vacation at the end of March. Entrada: Goat cheese wrapped in bacon, breaded. - Delicious. Prato principal: whole sea bream with potatoes and vegetables - very tasty. Price - performance 👍 Service: like in Portugal, enough staff, everyone friendly and nice. Thanks for the little break.

Meat tasted very good, top sauce, incredible. Pastel de Nata tasted like it had been picked up from the supermarket, so it didn't really impress me, but otherwise it was great 👍🏻

Eten zeer matig (sardines met schubben), patatas bravas met bolognese/ketchup saus, droog vlees, saus uit pakje…. De krul frietjes waren t lekkerst. Bediening geeuwend aan de rand vh terras. Onbehoorlijke opmerking naar onze dochter van 16. Kortom, niet naartoe gaan!

The food was very tasty, the menu has something for everyone. The staff is quite friendly, reserving a table is recommended for larger groups. Paying by card was no problem. We'd love to come back.

The food was delicious as was the portion size. Unfortunately, there is a point deduction for the dirty dishes (they were changed immediately). One plate was broken off on the side and the flaw was really big.

The food was delicious, unfortunately the service seemed rather annoyed, especially since my mother can't eat everything and therefore had to ask. I couldn't see anything at the window seat because the windows were covered with awards. If you don't care about these points, it's a nice restaurant to eat.
