I've been here quite often when I'm in HH. Mostly in pairs. This time there are five of us. And this time we got a table at short notice before the musical visit. It was, as always, very tasty 😋. Very happy again...

Spectacular, as if you were in Portugal. Delicious food and friendly staff, like a trip home.

I rarely praise, but it was an incredibly good meal. Our highlights were the omelette, the bacon-wrapped dates and the bread with the awesome aioli served at the beginning. The fried anchovies were a bit salty at times, but I think that's a matter of taste.

A piece of Portugal in the middle of Hamburg-Neustadt (Portuguese Quarter) Authentic food as we know it from Portugal - fresh, traditional and full of taste. The boss and the kitchen team come directly from Portugal and bring their passion to the plate. Perfect for anyone who wants to experience real Portuguese flair. Absolutely recommended!

Very nice Portuguese and cozy tavern. We felt like we were on vacation. Despite the full dining room, the service was very attentive and the food was excellent. Lots of small tapas and a good fish platter. Unfortunately, some guests drinking water block the few seats.

Very. Good value for money. Delicious. Delicious bread with aioli first. The sea bream with potatoes and vegetables is also very tasty and prawns in garlic sauce, be careful.

Yesterday the two of us went to Taperia mar Salgado and it was a really cozy and enjoyable evening. The food couldn't be beaten in terms of value for money. We had the grilled fish platter for two and the price was great and the fish - delicious! The service was attentive, friendly and our short conversation was very pleasant! We would love to come back and are looking forward to the tapas on the menu, which also sounded very appetizing. Thank you for the lovely evening with you!

We had excellent meals here 3 times during our short vacation. Fish, meat dishes and tapas. The dishes are fresh, very well seasoned and prepared. The service is very friendly and unobtrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and sometimes a bit lively, which didn't bother us. We will definitely come back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant!

We were there on December 28th, 2024. We had a delicious fish grill platter for 2 people and were very satisfied. This restaurant is cheaper than many others in the Portuguese Quarter, but tastes better than many others. We would stop there at any time on our next visit to Hamburg .

We were in the restaurant with 5 people. Very good service and the restaurant is comfortably furnished. Not hip but somehow quaint. We had starters, main courses and desserts. The fish dishes were great. The lamb too. A star deduction for the rabbit in red wine, as it was sometimes very tough. It should have simmered longer. Unfortunately the sauce wasn't well seasoned, which was a shame Overall we still had a great evening

Very romantic restaurant in the Portuguese quarter in Hamburg. It was wonderfully romantic, and also very tasty! There was a great deal on a meat or fish platter for 2 people. We decided on the fish, it was great! The service/waiting staff are very friendly, we really enjoyed it here. The little almond schnapps at the end was also great!

The food is simply fantastic here. We ate here twice while visiting Hamburg three years ago. Back then the focus was on the many delicious tapas. Now we were on a day trip with the family in Hamburg. This time we chose various main courses and were not disappointed again. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Hamburg.

The tapas were very tasty, we made a selection of 15 different tapas for 6 people. The quantity was perfect, the food was very tasty and delivered quickly. The Portuguese wine was also very tasty and despite a last minute reservation we got a nice table. Thank you for the lovely birthday meal!

Very tasty tapas. Unfortunately the whole restaurant smelled of cigarette smoke, as did the toilets. Considering the restaurant was empty, the service was quite slow. Unfortunately the vegetables in the main course were cold - warmed plates would be great. Good price/performance ratio.

Had a nice evening here in the restaurant, nice location, highly recommended. We were there on a Wednesday evening and there wasn't much going on. But I think it will be quite crowded on Fridays and weekends. You should definitely pre-order. I was there by car. Parking spaces are very rare and we would therefore recommend using public transport.

The dishes are very tasty. The rooms, well, are outdated and unrenovated. It's nice that you can sit in an airy place with the floor-to-ceiling windows open on hot days. The staff is not very attentive and obviously has a lot to discuss among themselves, which is often discussed loudly... Fizit: Recommended!

My paella was so salty that it was impossible to eat. When I complained about it, the waiter took it seriously and did not include it in the bill. I ordered grilled squid instead - it was not great (a bit bitter), but in general OK. Overall a nice place to come for dinner. Pleasant atmosphere and good service, the food is average. I liked Krabbensuppe.

We used to be regulars there. I don't want to comment any further on the well-known cramped conditions (very small tables placed close together) and the extreme volume in the restaurant (very loud music is played on top of the already high volume level). However, the last 2 times we were there the quality of the food has decreased significantly. The mixed tapas plate for 2 people consists of at least 50% fried fast food, definitely nothing homemade. On top of that, the (possibly overworked waiters) also became really unfriendly. You get the impression that the shop is no better than the many other tourist restaurants in the Portuguese Quarter. We will definitely avoid this restaurant for the next while.

A friend recommended the restaurant to me. I have to admit that it really hit our taste. The tapas platter for 2 people was brilliant and the fried anchovies that we ordered also tasted very good. Price performance was top together with aperitif, drinks, cream Catalana paid around 75€. The fish platter looked very good but we'll try it next time we go to Hamburg.

Typical Portuguese restaurant. The ambience was right. We immediately felt at home. The service was excellent. Tapas and main courses were great. The price-performance ratio was right. We were there two evenings in a row. When we're back in Hamburg, we'll be happy to come back.

The place definitely reminds me of Galicia and Portugal, from the deco to the colors being used, weird as I was in Hamburg :) The owner seems to be a Portuguese man and he was there to open the place so we could be the first guests. Honestly, the fish here is prepared delicious with plenty olive oil and potatoes.. which simply brought my heart back to eating in the Atlantic coast of Spain. I cannot stress enough how good the fish was.. it had been ages since I'd eaten so good. The place also had a really nice albeit expensive sangria (25 € per liter) with delicious apricots. Whenever I'm in Hamburg i will try to eat here again :)

There's a lot going on on Saturday evening in the Portuguese Quarter and it's not easy to find a seat in the restaurant. So we ended up in this wonderful restaurant by chance. It seemed like a place for locals, whether Portuguese or German, and so was the service. Very humane, warm treatment, very tasty food and plenty of it, the food authentically Portuguese (not touristy), very good wine - optimal ingredients for a romantic evening 😀.

More Portugal in Hamburg isn't really possible. Keep it up. Yummy!

I have never had such a delicious “tapas platter for two” with so much choice as in this restaurant. The dishes we saw at the neighboring tables ALL looked delicious. Our dessert “Cream Catalan” was also delicious. We can highly recommend it

Rightly 5 stars. Great tapas selection from vegan to fish to meat variations. Priced from €5.90. But the main courses are also recommended. Cozy atmosphere and a fine selection of drinks. Reservation is absolutely necessary, especially on the weekend!

Very good service combined with excellent food. We really liked it. We had the tapas plate for two. A good mix with nine different tapas. Finally, the house aperitif and one of the best Creme Catalan I've eaten so far.

The garlic soup was excellent. For tapas we chose grilled and fried sardines, potatoes with spicy sauce, fried peppers, minced meatballs with tomato sauce and cod croquettes. The main course was paella. We were very satisfied with the food, the service and the ambience. We were particularly pleased about the short-term reservation. Tapas selection is great and of excellent quality. Good wine selection. Service could be a little bit better with only one person handling the front section. Certainly value for money.

This restaurant can only be recommended. We have been to Hamburg twice in the last six months and have eaten in this restaurant several times. The food is extremely tasty, the waiters are very nice, courteous, friendly and the atmosphere is simply very nice. In addition, the price-performance ratio is definitely right.
