We were in Hamburg for a few days and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. A hidden gem in my opinion. The food was great, the prices were fair, and the staff were super nice and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the very next evening. I highly recommend it. What I really liked was that they always provided a basket of warm rolls and dip. Simply delicious.

As always, the food was delicious, but what really made the evening special was the outstanding service from Jenni. From the start she was friendly, attentive and always had a smile on her face. She knew exactly when she had to be there without seeming intrusive and made the evening just perfect for us with her warm manner. You don't often experience service like this! If you go to the Schweinske, then hopefully with Jenni as the waitress - she makes the difference! Thank you for the great evening, we will definitely be back

Hello everyone. I was here spontaneously for lunch today. And in the end it was a great decision! The food was absolutely great. I had the Camembert Schnitzel plus an extra fried egg. From the salad to the schnitzel, it was a real treat. The service was also very friendly and competent. Thank you for everything and keep it up. Absolutely recommended 🥰💯🥰

Half duck with red cabbage and croquettes. Duck skin is not crispy but fatty, so not to eat. Sauce greasy and transparent, really not good. Croquettes and red cabbage were ok. Service was ok for us, but due to the large number of out-of-home deliveries, longer waiting times can be expected. The store smells strangely musty.

Ich war mit 2 mobilitätseingeschränkten Freunden im Restaurant Schweinske Bahrenfeld. Uns wurde super geholfen. Das Essen war top, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

The food was horrible, everything tasted like ready-made food, just warmed up, full of flavor enhancers and just straight out of the bag. The cauliflower only tasted a bit of fat, which also ran out of it. For 20€ that's just awesome. What annoyed me the most, however, was the side salad for €2.70, which was taken away from a bowl with two forks (quantity: a small lettuce leaf, a slice of cucumber and a thumb's tip of carrot). The price is more than a joke considering the size. Sorry, but that's not how you get customers into your house. And no, that wasn't an accident, what was presented there was calculated intention.

Despite the fact that Schweinske is a restaurant chain, we ate more than well! Highly recommended After the meal, I ordered a Moscow Mule - mixed a little differently than usual, but it still tasted good!

You can also spend a sensational 70th with you, we expected good food, but then a serenade and blowing out a candle 🤣 are really special. Thank you very much, it was impressive (not just because of the happy hour and the jumbo caipirinha) that you "live" your job. See you again, bus route 16 is saved.

The rolls are always worth a sin. Little mess and the pancakes were really very good. Keep it up.

Great service, great food and prices are okay for today's times. We were there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays and really enjoyed the evening in the most beautiful Schweinske in Hamburg. Goodbye - see you next time :-) PS. the cocktails were also super delicious 😊

Unfortunately the sauces are ready-made sauces. I was looking forward to a schnitzel with pepper sauce. Everything was good. The sauce was inedible and tasted like ready-made sauce... When asked, this was confirmed, but nothing was done. The ketchup was way too spicy for my son. Yes, it's spicy. Here, too, there was no notice when ordering and no response to the notice... So we could have just gone to McDonald's or Burger King... Service was otherwise very nice and friendly, but that doesn't help either...

Always enjoy going to the restaurant. The portions are good, prices are absolutely reasonable. As far as food is concerned, there is a fairly broad menu. If you like cocktails, you'll definitely get your money's worth here, as there is happy hour here at certain times. There are some children's meals available for families with children. Coloring sheets and colored pencils are also available upon request. The outdoor area itself is quite large, unfortunately the adjacent street is always very crowded and correspondingly loud and smelly. That's why we usually prefer to sit inside

Yesterday we were in Hamburg, at the Volksparkstadion and were looking for a restaurant to eat. Schweinsteiger was the first that wasn't a kebab or snack bar. As it turned out, it was an absolute stroke of luck. The food was great, the service was great and the prices were great too. It's a shame we live so far away, we would be regulars here. We were lucky and got a parking space there, the parking situation is already tense.
