"All you can eat" here means "All you can enjoy", and the main difference - apart from the fact that you are charged for excess food ordered/not eaten, which is certainly justified in terms of sustainability - is that you order from the table using a tablet. The way it works is that you can order 5 dishes per person from the extensive Asian fusion menu every 10 minutes for two hours, which are then quickly brought to the table. The focus is on Japanese (large selection of sushi) and Korean cuisine, which is served in pretty bowls and is definitely impressive in terms of quality. The four of us managed three rounds plus a dessert round and were definitely well full. It's definitely fun to choose different dishes and then try them all together. With a drink it costs around 40 euros per person, which is certainly not a small amount, but is justified given the quality of the food. The ambience lies between cool-modern-Asian (inside) and cozy (terrace); Overall, an interesting discovery and definitely worth giving it a try.

5 stars – A real highlight among the Asian restaurants in Hamburg! I absolutely loved the Kofokoo Yam’cha in the city center! The selection of sushi, dim sum and Asian tapas is not only incredibly diverse, but also of high quality and creatively prepared. I particularly liked the modern, stylish atmosphere - you immediately feel at home here. In direct comparison to the Kofookoo at the Rindermarkthalle, the Yam'cha is clearly the better choice for me: the service was more attentive, the ambience was quieter and the taste of the food was even more convincing. You can just tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality and details here. I'll definitely be back - for me it's currently one of the best all-you-can-eat experiences in Hamburg!

Unique gourmet event with good quality and a huge selection.

We approved the All You Can Eat. The choice of food was extensive and it was very pleasant to order from the tray. Unfortunately, our seat outside was a bit dirty and the wait staff was in a bad mood. You could feel that… Otherwise the food was quite good and always arrived at the table very quickly.

A bit “busy” there, inappropriate and loud music, lots of choice, very good food. There are better alternatives for the price.

All you can eat at the highest level! Everything tastes sooooo good that you have to be very careful not to overeat! You can order 5 pieces per person via tablet every 10 minutes 😄

When everyone paid, the system on the tablet said that 3 drinks were remaining but we all know it's not true. Very disappointing ! 20 euros more on the bill. If you want to eat there, you better put a camera filming the table to prove your point.

The idea is nice. Ordering many different and small portions is interesting, you can share and try a lot of dishes. The service was quite calm. They were polite but could have said more than "excuse me" and putting plates on the table. The food was quite basic, nothing special, not even a single "original" or "signature" dish. Also the quality was too average or below for 35€ per person for the food. Since you only have 2 hours and have a buffer of 10 minutes until you order again, we might feel stressed at times. The atmosphere was good, people had fun and enjoyed the whole concept. One thing that was strange: we had 3 drinks on the bill that no one ordered nor were they served. Since you order by tablet, we felt scammed. In the end it was an ok experience but I will not go again.

A very fast, friendly service and perfect restaurant for people like me who like to try everything and can't decide on a main course. And everything is incredibly tasty.

Always happy to go there again for all you can eat Offer. Super tasty dishes that are worth the money. The crowning glory is always dessert. Coconut ice cream, mango sorbet, rice cake and apple gyoza are always a great finale!

The selection is really great and the food is good quality and tasty. For me personally, I find the soups, salads and many other small dishes not very seasoned. Service is very nice and accommodating.

The all you can eat sushi will cost you EU34 and you can order 5 units/pieces every 10min with a maximum time at the table of 2h. The service and atmosphere are nice and you will get a tablet to place your orders. The only sushi I really liked was the "Fat Salmão" ... All the others were either ok or bad (like the salmão with cheese on top).

Food is okay, but there are delicious restaurants in the same style. The staff very unfriendly! I also think a renovation would be necessary. Overall okay

We were there for “all you can eat”. The concept convinced us. You select the many different dishes on the tablet. There is plenty to choose from and we found a lot of it very tasty. The only thing we found to be a shame was the fact that no drink was included, as you pay over 30 euros per person. Nevertheless, it is recommended. There is also a lunch menu that we want to try. It would have been nice for us to have a coffee after dinner, but the fact that it isn't available there probably has a cultural background.

Amazing all-you-can-eat sushi spot! The menu is definitely worth trying, with delicious sushi options galore. A standout for me was the Haur Gau dumplings, which are gluten-free. The fried duck is also a must-try, it's that good (and be warned, one portion might not be enough!). The service is top-notch, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, a great dining experience!

It's hard to believe, but it has subsided even more. The portions have become even smaller... It used to be really fun here and we went there very regularly. Not anymore!

The food was of poor quality. Seven of us had dinner and paid €300. A few hours later everyone had very bad stomach cramps and nausea. All seven people didn't manage to get out of bed all weekend. When we reported back to the restaurant, the boss promised a call back, which has not been kept to this day. A total disaster.

The restaurant itself is beautifully designed - modern, quiet and much more relaxed than the kofookoo in the Rindermarkthalle. You immediately feel at home there, the atmosphere is right.  However, what was absolutely not convincing was the food. The portions are incredibly small – even for an all-you-can-eat concept. Several dishes were counted as two, although the portion that came next was more like a tasting bite. We ordered ten rounds and still went home hungry - that says it all. Compared to the Rindermarkthalle, this is a completely different league, unfortunately in a negative sense. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and service would actually be great - but the food is clearly too expensive.

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food quality was very poor—definitely not fresh and completely tasteless. The staff was rude and indifferent, and our orders were incorrect. When we asked for corrections, they showed no interest in helping. With such low-quality food and service, I definitely do not recommend this place.

Food was OK. There is little choice. The concept with the iPad isn't so great, you're just busy ordering. For €35 it's too expensive and not enough of what's on offer. Drinks were good.

Incredibly large selection... quickly at the table... everything fine

The staff were all very friendly even though it was really busy and there was a lot to do. Because people were waiting inside, it was a bit uneasy.

I've been coming here to eat regularly for a few years now. Reservations were always easy online. Sushi and everything else very tasty. It may only be at full capacity that you have to wait a little longer for the food you ordered.

The food was almost always cold or at most lukewarm. The quality of the meat leaves a lot to be desired. Dishes were brought that were not ordered. Still too expensive for €35. Once and never again.

The roast beef is incredibly bad. Things used to be much better. Costs are clearly and consciously saved here. They used to be tender, juicy, thinly sliced ​​pieces of steak that were slightly pink on the inside, juicy and delicious. Today it is goulash-like pieces of dry and tough meat cut into cubes. It's a shame, because the roast beef was the main reason for my visit. I won't be visiting the store anymore, and unfortunately neither will my friends.

We were here for our anniversary. On a Monday the restaurant wasn't too crowded either. The service was quick and friendly. The selection is really large and even for guests who don't like sushi there is enough to try. Unfortunately there was no Siu Long Bao during our visit - we were looking forward to it. The food was consistently delicious, high quality and you will really be full (if you want) in the two hours that you can eat in the All you can Enjoy restaurant. What I noticed negatively was that some of the seat cushions had large stains. It didn't look pretty and wasn't very appetizing. Otherwise the store is really nicely decorated.

For the price it's definitely not worth it. We had the all you can eat, the sushi was ok but the rest wasn't. The fried rice was completely white and cold, so it wasn't seasoned and there was only a little bit of corn mixed in. The fried noodles were cold and only had a little soy sauce on them. The “salad” had soy sauce as a dressing. And the fruit salad mostly contained apple. The ice cream flavors were very good. But we won't be coming back.

Quality and portions have decreased significantly. We have been visiting Kofokoo for many years. Initially great portions and great quality. Yesterday the portions were sometimes really a joke and the quality was no longer the real deal either. For example, scampi was cold and only briefly fried. Sushi without any real taste. Fruit salad consisted of 3 apple pieces and 2 pieces of melon. For the increasingly expensive price, I definitely expect more! Very unfortunate!!!

Very loud and the things we ordered didn't come or other things.

Disappointment. Everything is tasteless. Rice is overcooked. The fish are like plastic. I mean, there are people inside, but we honestly didn't understand.

The food is okay, don't expect premium sushi. The service really does its best but sometimes it takes a really long time. The restaurant itself is nice, but you feel like a sardine because the tables are so close together and some group tables are turned into couples' tables using plastic dividers.

We chose the all you can eat option. Unfortunately, the food was really not tasty for the price quoted. Both the fried seafood and the meat were cold and not really edible. It was constantly under-salted and, strangely enough, not fried with any sauce like we know from East Asian cuisine. Only a small dollop of sweet and sour sauce or remoulade was added to the seafood. So unfortunately really not recommended for the price. I liked the ambience and the service. The rest really didn't have any good experiences. P.S. Only apple pieces and a small piece of pineapple were served with the fruit salad.

The food almost always arrived cold. Not lukewarm, but cold. That was a real shame. Sometimes the plates we ordered didn't arrive until the next order or the one after that. Which at some point was a bit much. Because when there are several people, you quickly lose track of who ordered what. The service was very nice and always cleared the table quickly. In the end there was an error in the billing, but it was quickly and easily remedied. Overall the taste was good. Meat was very tender, but as I said, cold almost every time.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The dishes were neither fresh nor particularly tasty. In addition, the staff was unfriendly and didn't try hard, which made the stay very unpleasant. You definitely expect more for the price - the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Very disappointing, unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

Service is super nice and everything is always reliably delicious, I feel like the selection is getting bigger every time. The food is also delivered to the table very quickly and arrives hot. For what it is it's great, I personally think the price is a bit high but somehow you have to pay all the employees.

The food is super delicious. The method of getting food via tablet is clever. Overall, everything was very discreet, as only food and drinks were brought to the table by the staff without any exchange of words. What I have to complain about, however, is that within 2 minutes two different employees came to us and wanted to send us out of the place, even though we still had 5 minutes of our booked time left, with the justification "the next guests are already downstairs" - but downstairs was There was no one in sight and other tables were empty. I think something like that with a small child, which takes longer to do everything, is inappropriate.

Nice Malatang place. Need chose min 400g ingredients so min price is around 16 Euro - but food quality is good and atmosphere is fine es well.

To be honest, I have rarely had such a terrible meal. Overcooked edamame, I couldn't eat the sushi, bok choy was okay, ginger was fresh and tasty, but otherwise...mostly fried, wobbly shrimp, stringy chicken, etc In addition, drinks that were ordered accidentally were not taken off the bill - contrary to the waiter's promise. Unfortunately I only noticed this when I got home. I was really looking forward to the meal and am so disappointed that I won't be going back to the restaurant.

The atmosphere has something of a waiting hall and SM temple. A bit modern and elegant. Nothing that conveys Japan but not uncomfortable either. The dishes are extremely Japanese and beautiful. The service is courteous and friendly, although not very interactive due to language barriers. Food is so mixed. Some salads taste like vegetables in slightly sour sweet water. I've been there several times and the flagship, the sushi, depends on the day. This time was delicious. Not Best Sushi In Town, but OK. Especially for the price. Desserts are extremely good. Drinks are expensive, but the selection and quality are great. Especially the homemade things like lemonades and cocktails. All in all, it's a good place to go and for a casual time with friends it's a good choice, especially since the alternatives in the area aren't that numerous.

We went to Kofokoo for all you can eat. Unfortunately, most of the food wasn't that great. The warm dishes were lukewarm to cold and unfortunately rather sticky and tough, making some of them difficult to chew. The cold sushi was okay. The ice cream was quite good. Since everything happened so quickly, one might assume that the food had been there for a while and could therefore be brought straight away. Service was otherwise okay. Will be my first and last visit. Too bad

I returned to Koofoko after a year and noticed that the quality and quantity have decreased. I'm sorry because it was a nice place with good quality/price ratio. I think I won't come back again.

Of course you can order every 10 minutes, but many dishes now cost 2p, which is why you can order less per round and many ordered dishes are not delivered to the table or arrive at later rounds when you are almost full. Previously, the service and food combined with the concept was very good. However, the quality has deteriorated significantly and everything arrives in tiny quantities. Wasabi and ginger came automatically, now you have to order it with the dishes via the tablet, which costs additional P. too bad...

The food itself is good, but some dishes were already cold when they came to the table. The selection is large and sufficient. Price-performance is acceptable.

I wish i could give a lower rate than 1 star. None would express it better. First i want to say that the staff was wonderful. Lovely people. Good job. But the food? The food was mistly awful. A buffet for 34.99€ p.P. and everything that was served was either cold, tasted the same or was so badly fried it was hard to chew. On top of that there was a pork gyoza in my vegetable gyoza. Why having the option to order veggie gyozas when they come mixed up with meat. I get that it might have been a mistake.....but still. The location was not crowded to make such mistake. Very sad experience because I used to like the restaurant. But after today I will not visit again.

The food is delicious and you can really have a wide selection of good food at the quasi-all-you-can-eat. It was very busy, and since each table places a lot of orders, it often happened that the wrong orders came or none at all. But since it's easy to ignore that, because you can still fill up a lot with a large amount and there's a lot going on in the store and lots of small portions have to be delivered, it's normal for the wrong things to come every now and then. Therefore: If you want to really soak in the tub with a few people and at an acceptable price with lots of small tasting portions, then this is definitely a suitable place.

Unfortunately, my visit to your restaurant for lunch was not to my complete satisfaction. Together with my friend, I ordered two mini sushi plates, a large water and edamame à la carte, and we paid a total of €35.50. The price was okay, but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired in terms of taste. Unfortunately we had to leave some dishes behind because they didn't impress us. Things got particularly unpleasant when it came time to pay. I wanted to pay in cash and gave the waiter €40. Instead of giving me change, he looked at me in silence for several seconds until he finally told me to round up the amount since he didn't have any change on him. I found this request to be extremely rude. I'm happy to tip if I'm happy with the food and service, but I don't feel obligated to do so because the service doesn't have change. I was also not offered an option to pay by card. All in all, this visit was a good experience, but not worth a second visit!

After 45 minutes we were informed that the next reservation was coming up and we had to leave. We also ordered things that were supposedly no longer available, such as baked bananas. Some dishes count as 2 orders but the portion is really small. The rules are fine, but they should offer bigger portions for every dishes. The food was delicious, but it's not something I would want to eat again.

If you don't eat all-you-can-eat here in the evening but rather eat a la carte, you're in the wrong place here. Although it is advertised differently on the website, you can hardly order anything if you order from the menu. The staff was rude and after 50 minutes we were chased out because the next reservation came. NeoKey doesn't work either. Never again!

Wonderful food and great service. The only drawback is that it's always SUPER loud (not the music), which means you can't have a good conversation. A room acoustician urgently needs to get involved. But otherwise we are thrilled.

We ordered various dishes via a tablet at an all-you-can-eat fixed price. The sushi was okay, nothing more or less, the warm dishes were below average, the fruit salad only consisted of apple pieces. The service is on point but impersonal, which is probably due to the concept. At this price, next time we'd rather eat good sushi paired with good service. The smell and cleanliness of the toilet were poor.

I always really enjoyed being at Kofokoo. I had a stomach reduction six months ago, but wanted to go again with a friend. She wanted all-you-can-eat and I wanted a menu because I just can't eat much anymore. After I provided proof of the operation, I was first told that I could pay the children's price for AYCE and then that it was not possible at all. Accordingly, I paid the full price and only ate 3 portions. Really a shame! Then next time I'll probably have to sit at a different table or I won't be able to come back.

It is not allowed to order à la carte and all you can eat at the same table. You have to allow yourself to do that first. In this day and age of diversity and food intolerances, denying a guest the food they could eat. Also, the restaurant is not very clean. The chair upholstery has many stains. Unfortunately I can't recommend it any further.

The service was good and modern. However, the food wasn't really good. Sushi were very bad. I intentionally tried several. The soup only tasted of salt and deserts were okay. However, sometimes it is better to have less to choose from but tastier.

Centrally located you will find a beautiful, barrier-free restaurant with wonderful murals, where you can order your food and drinks in a relaxed manner via iPad. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the all you can eat.

Some of the warm dishes came to the table cold, but if you ordered several portions of a dish, this was often overlooked and only 1 portion came.
