The steak was really top, the fried potatoes were very tasty. The only thing that was normal was the apple strudel, but it was perfectly fine. Staff was nice and friendly. And the price is absolutely right for a really good steak. Portions were completely sufficient. Gladly again

Went for lunch, reservations are definitely recommended. The dishes were great - once onion roast and once goulash - the beef was awesome. An asparagus soup with salmon beforehand was also great. Unfortunately there are no more spreads for bread beforehand...

My order at Uncle Smash was a complete disappointment and shattered all my expectations of a burger joint. I ordered a hamburger, but what I got was an insulting disappointment. Not only was the burger squashed, but it was also ice-cold and had a rancid taste, as if it had been sitting there for days. Every bite was excruciating. But that wasn't enough – the fries were the icing on the cake. Cold, soggy, and also had that disgusting rancid aftertaste. I literally wondered if the food was intentionally prepared so poorly. After one attempt at eating it, I had to throw it all away. It was simply inedible. And the best part? I paid a whopping €17 for this "culinary" nightmare! That's an absolute disgrace for what I got. The bottom line: Uncle Smash managed to convince me, after just one visit, to never return. Anyone who cares even a little about quality, taste, or their money should avoid this place. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Never again!

Delicious Greek restaurant around the corner. Prices are fair, the atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly and very nice. The dishes are very tasty, but standard. But that's complaining at a very high level

I was actually finally planning on eating Kaiserschmarrn in Bolsterlang. Since the restaurant was closed, I wandered around a bit and remembered the excellent website for the Poststübles in Fischen. Honest cooking, small portions available, and the aforementioned friendliness – that appealed to me, so I headed to Fischen and had venison goulash with spaetzle (Black Forest residents call them Knöpfle 😉) and croquettes. Special requests, extra sauce, the friendliness and attentiveness of the waiter, a nice place to sit, both inside and outside...I enjoyed it and would gladly go back. Reservations are required during the season.

Best place I've ever been to in Germany. Everything there is 5-star: food, location, staff.

Delicious burgers, great music, attentive, friendly service... The atmosphere is a bit cold and simple... padded backrests on the walls or cushions on the benches would make everything a bit more cozy.

We arrived a little late on Sunday, but even though the whole shop was empty, we were still served in a friendly manner. The food is excellent and definitely worth a visit. The price-performance ratio is also right here, even though the boss has already been on TV 😁
