Another one of those places where 5 stars are actually insufficient. 10 would be better. Rather inconspicuously located, guests can expect a cozy, beautifully furnished restaurant with parking, quiet seating, very friendly staff and extremely plentiful and delicious food! The pizzas, including the gluten-free ones(!), were absolutely phenomenal, large and filled us all up. Especially since the mixed salad we previously ordered was also gigantic! Of course, any leftover pieces from the children were packed up for us. This will definitely be our new No. 1 stop for pizza in Erlangen!

Quality, taste, value for money are simply amazing. Owner with a lot of humor and passion, and this dessert of lotus cookies is simply heavenly.

Nachdem wir gestern mal wieder etwas zum liefern bestellten, wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Der Mindestbestellwert wurde übertroffen und trotzdem wurde mir unfreundlich gesagt, ich solle doch statt eine kleine eine mittlere Pizza nehmen. Der Grund wäre, weil der Weg nach Eltersdorf weiter wäre als woanders hin. Meines Wissens ist Eltersdorf ein Stadtteil von Erlangen und es werden ja sowieso 2€ für das liefern verlangt. Mit Schrecken musste ich dann beim essen auch noch feststellen, dass die Pizza kalt war. Somit hat man wieder einen Kunden weniger.

I used to love coming here when Mamma Mia was still in the old town at MLP. In my opinion the pizzas are some of the best in the city. Baked just right, not too thin, not too fatty and I like the classic Margharita pizza here best. You can always add a little garlic or hot spices at the table. From 2006 to today (2025) I have always been happy here. Keep it up!

Really delicious pizza.... calzone BBQ is recommended.... and chicken pizza with BBQ sauce... The service was really nice... Unfortunately today we had a nice salad pot... only 2 slices of cucumber and 1.1/2 cocktail tomatoes... tuna was ok but otherwise only green salad... it used to be much better... a shame. ❤️💛

I've eaten there several times in the last few months, which wasn't a problem at all due to the huge selection. The pizzas are excellent, and the pasta is also recommended. I also find the garlic oil with the pizza particularly tasty, which you can take directly at the table. I've never been disappointed when I've eaten there!

Normally I'm not the quickest person to write a bad review when I receive a complaint. But there was a reason for it that needs to be addressed before eating. In my case it is important for me to point out that your service was very poor. If I ever have a reason to tell the waitress that, then you expect a reaction from her. This didn't come at all. No apologies, no follow up on the food served. And when I was clearing away, I just mentioned again that unfortunately today wasn't what we expected. To my astonishment: Although the matter was actually settled for me, the boss came around the corner without me asking, making me Minna as a customer in the restaurant and also mentioning at the same time that if you want to eat a pizza, then do so I can go somewhere else next time. Impossible behavior from your boss. Good customer loyalty works differently. But apparently you no longer need to be a little more customer-friendly. When I paid, I of course paid for what I ordered and ate. The answer later, I didn't have to do that. Simply ridiculous. You still have to understand it somehow. Simply incompetent staff who do a good job. This also affects the management. I will think carefully about whether and when I have the opportunity to do this. After all, there are other good restaurants. I will also keep the option open to publish this review via Google. You don't deserve to get a better rating from me. Since there wasn't even a response to my complaint, I now feel compelled to publish it on Google. --- Now that you've answered, I just wanted to clarify that my complaint wasn't about the onions, but rather that the pizza was only lukewarm. I usually expect a hot pizza. But the reason for the complaint is that the boss complained loudly and impossible about me in the restaurant. That doesn't work at all. You don't expect that from me either. Also that I should go somewhere else for the next pizza meal. That was ultimately the deciding factor for me to give a negative review of your restaurant.

Normalerweise bin ich nicht der schnellste, der bei einer Beschwerde auch eine schlechte Rezension schreibt. Es gab aber einen Anlass dazu, den man vor dem Essen auch ansprechen muss. Aber in meinem Fall ist es mir dann schon mal wichtig drauf hinzuweisen, dass der Service sehr miserabel gewesen ist. Wenn man schon mal einen Grund dazu hat, dass der Bedienung auch gesagt wird, dann erwartet man auch eine Reaktion. Diese kam überhaupt nicht. Und beim Abräumen wurde lediglich noch einmal erwähnt, dass es heute leider nicht so war, wie man es erwartet. Obwohl die Sache für mich eigentlich auch erledigt war, kam ohne meiner Aufforderung der Chef um die Ecke, in dem der mich als Kunden im Lokal zur Minna macht, und auch gleichzeitig noch erwähnt, wenn man eine Pizza essen möchte, dann kann ich dann beim nächsten Mal auch woanders hingehen. Das muss ich mir dann wohl auch beim nächsten Mal genau überlegen. Service unter aller Kanone.

The gluten-free pizza is delicious

So honestly, we think it's an ABSOLUTE impudence to demand a minimum order value of 50 euros for a delivery over 2 km and a 3 euro journey on top of that... we've already eaten there... unbelievable. We will never order anything there again!!!!!! PIZZA 14 EURO AND THEN DELIVERY TERMS LIKE THAT.....WON'T WORK AT ALL!!!!!!

We've been getting the same pizzas about once a week for a few months now and are always super satisfied!

Very very good pizza. The salads are also very good. I actually haven't tried pasta yet. The service is very friendly and quick. The drink prices are very moderate. The atmosphere in the glass winter garden is nice and the chairs are quite comfortable. Unfortunately it is very open and therefore often quite loud. Unfortunately, the parking situation is a disaster.

Even if Google deletes it again, this is the reality: That was 2021 The delivery was first delivered to another customer, then picked up there and brought to us. Really not compliant with hygiene, not just during Corona times. Complaint was unsuccessful. I hope the health department contacts this company, I also informed them. I can only recommend not ordering there. The company's answer is a blatant lie. I called there while the driver was on the way to pick up the pizza from the other customer and told them what I would do to "cure the defective legal transaction". The person on the phone was under the mistaken assumption that I wouldn't give a bad review and ignored my moderate suggestion of delivering two bottles of Coke, but he knew full well about the mistake. After the review was published, they tried to convince me to take back this review using a much larger bribe. It is to be feared that this will happen more often and that the positive reviews should not be taken seriously. With a company philosophy like that, I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. It was my first and last pizza from this company and I can only recommend this to all other people for health reasons. This is my correspondence with the owner after Ali Köksal slandered me on Google, please decide for yourself whether you want to eat there I: They had my review deleted from Google for “defamation”. If this happens again, I will sue you for defamation at the Erlangen District Court. The incident described happened like this and there are witnesses to it. Excellent every time! Best pizza and pasta in Erlangen, prepared and served by some of the friendliest people. Also with GLUTEN FREE options, cooked in an aluminum pizza tin to avoid picking up gluten from the pizza oven. For those with severe allergies who are hesitant to eat out due to fear of cross-contamination , you can even watch them make the pizza as their entire kitchen is open and visible to the customer. Easily one of our favorites, whether eating in the dining area or getting pizza delivered home. Great job, Mama Mia Team!

Mamma Mia was once again a gold mine at the best pizzeria in Erlangen. The boss of the house Ali is simply the best, has the best pizza and the best pasta, cheers to Ali and Mamma Mia. The wheat beer is nicely chilled. And the winter garden with the beautiful Oschis heater is brilliant. A blanket included. I'll be back, Mamma Mia best ever.

We called them 15 min before arrival and had a reservation for almost 5 families with kids and they said ok you can come freely. They prepared a side room for us ( it was very cozy , lighted and nice decorated ) They took our orders patiently even with the kids 😊 The food came in 10-12 mins and was delicious , warm and nicely served 😍 ( Pizza Parma , carbonara pasta and Rustica pasta with over melted cheese) We really spent a good time there and without stress

Whenever in doubt as to what to eat or prepare , just order a pizza from here and all is sorted … love their Bollywood pizza with extra chilli oil and garlic . But not a great fan of their calzone and pasta though.

Great value for money, the location in the conservatory extension is great, possibility for public viewing, air-conditioned. The pizza is very tasty and highly recommended. Staff helpful and friendly. All in all, a great experience.

Very good food. Service 1a. Special requests for food are happy to be fulfilled. Cleanliness is great! Sanitary rooms + restaurant sparkling clean. The restaurant is glazed all around with tinted windows. These can even be sunk. This means that cool and fresh air comes into the restaurant from the shady beer garden. Renovated last year and brought up to date with the latest technology. The only one locally in Bavaria: a roof that can be completely opened. I'm very excited.

We only got something to go, but we definitely want to go there again to eat! The decor is really nice and the food was great! While we waited a bit for our food, we were also able to watch a bit of how the food was made! We had pasta with carbonara sauce twice, which was really filling. Definitely a recommendation!!
