Checked out the taverna today, yes, anyone who finds the journey in paros too far meets here 😂. We were in the mood for Greek and it was on the way. The prices are adjusted to the clientele 😉 but OK for Munich. My plate was full of meat, everything was well seasoned and delicious, tomato rice was nicely done, chicken was juicy and tzatziki was also delicious. Moussaka was a bit small for €16 but also tasty so no point deducted. I'd rather it be big and full of fat. There is only one star deducted because my food was only lukewarm, unfortunately! Either you stood at the pass for a long time or the pass doesn't have a heat lamp. Service was very nice even if a little overloaded but that can be forgiven the place was full. You can definitely try a very nice modern Greek restaurant in Munich!

Absolutely amazing Greek restaurant and my favourite in Munich. Greasy food, full of authentic Greek flavour and generous portions. Amazing tsatsiki. Staff super friendly, the environment makes you feel like in Greece. Souvlaki is a must.

We often enjoy dining here because the food is absolutely delicious. The price-performance ratio is excellent, with generous portions and top-notch quality. The staff is always friendly, and you’ll often get a few Ouzo during your visit.

Food ok, service slow and arrogant. Too bad. As is often the case with IN restaurants, our expectations were not really met. Of course, you have to make a reservation in the evening and get “kicked out” after 2 hours. It would be good if you were so quick that you didn't have to rush to pay immediately after you finished eating. We would have liked to consume more. Conclusion: overrated.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for delicious, authentic Greek food! There are many great options to choose from. The hot/cold mezze starter offers a variety of great options. The lemon chicken was very juicy, and the moussaka was amazing. Everything was fresh and was prepared quite quickly. Beyond that, the atmosphere is super nice. The staff is also very fun and friendly. Michaelis was fantastic and we felt really well taken care of! You should make a reservation because it gets very busy.

Despite the cloudburst, a very nice evening. The service was attentive, friendly and attentive as far as the crowds were concerned. Reservation needed. 5 stars would be possible, but the tables outside are very close together, "two-shift operation" (we made a reservation at 6:30 p.m. and had to leave at 8:30 p.m.), especially uncomfortable with the Greek restaurant, the food could be better prepared and presented. Price-performance fits.

We were here for the first time this evening with friends. From the very friendly waiters, the nice outdoor seating to the extremely delicious food, for example fried vegetables, we were totally satisfied! You definitely have new regulars!😋🤩

We were there for dinner yesterday... unfortunately we can't understand the good reviews Drinks that were ordered only came after the third request The food was cold, unfortunately I couldn't complain because no waiter came by When we finished eating we sat with our empty plates for about 30 minutes even though the waiters walked past us and saw it We also didn't manage to get a waiter to our table When we asked for the bill the waiter came and said he noticed a bad mood at the table 🙈 when we expressed our displeasure the boss came... We didn't have to pay the bill... but honestly that doesn't really make up for the ruined evening

Tasty, friendly, nice atmosphere. The dishes are a bit pricey (normal prices, smaller quantities), but very well prepared. The team is very nice, but they get quite stressed when the guests are full. It's nice to sit outside, but the dining room is also comfortably designed and invites you to linger. Tip: Try something different than the usual “classics”, such as the homemade Araka me aginares. If in doubt, the delicious mixed meze always works!

We ate at Taverna Melina twice with a larger team (2022 and 2024). The atmosphere, the terrace, the waiters, the ouzo, the Melina classic menu were all always great! I can only recommend! The only point of criticism is that there is actually too much food (with the menus; e.g. Melina Klassik). We always have a lot left over.

In a long time, I have come across an establishment in Europe that so well represents a cuisine that does not belong to the country itself. Since we are Turkish, Greek cuisine is very close to us, so I didn't feel strange in anything I ate. Appetizers, appetizers and fish were extremely fresh and delicious. The portions are very filling and prepared for sharing. Even though we were very crowded, the service continued without a hitch and everyone was so friendly that we didn't want to get up. The inside is also beautiful, but the outside garden should definitely be preferred in the summer months.

Taverna Melina is really my absolute favorite Greek restaurant in Munich. Great food with top quality and taste. Sitting outside in the summer is such a nice atmosphere. But above all, my absolute highlight is the staff. So incredibly friendly, funny and hardworking. Unfortunately, you really rarely find something like that in Munich. Compliments! Jamas!

Awesome greek place, the lemon marinated chicken is the juiciest chicken I've ever had in Munich. Every menu item has very high quality meat. A wide selection of perfected meats such as Giros, Bifteki, Chicken, Souvlaki.

It is been days now I was craving gyros!!! So today, Monday, I accidentally stumble upon Melina restaurant some locals told me about. Let's start from the important stuff, eggplant chips to die for, zucchini pankaces also super..... and gyros baby.... simple plain greatness!!! Service is friendly, plates arrive in time, sat outside and atmosphere was nice. No more space to eat, hardly little breathing space..... yet let me place a pin at Melina restaurant and will be back at first chance!!!! All & all do not miss out folks!!

We thought it was great that we didn't have to decide until later whether, what and how much we wanted to eat afterwards. If you like it quieter, you should use the earlier hours; the restaurant was full from 8 p.m. The service was very attentive yet unobtrusive. We'll definitely come back, even if we have to go into the city. Price-performance ratio is right and you feel welcome. It couldn't be better!

Very good Greek with super friendly service (not only gave two rounds of ouzo on the house, but also a Greek yogurt for dessert!). The quality of the food is excellent; Prices are absolutely fair for the quantity and quality. When the weather is nice you can sit on the spacious terrace, but the restaurant itself is sometimes a bit tight, especially at the tables for two, where you are very close to your neighbors. Other than that, great shop and a nice neighborhood hangout.

We spent an evening there with friends on a Friday evening, table for 7. Very fast and friendly service, a little noisy and hot environment. Excellent and very abundant food, the mixed hot and cold starter would have been enough for many of us as a complete lunch.

The food is very tasty and there is a good selection of dishes. The quality is really great. Price performance is good overall. The side dishes are too expensive for the size. Small note: It's a bit noisy in the restaurant. You could definitely do something about this ;-) We have been here several times and would love to come back! You can really have a nice evening here.

We went for a date night at Taverna Melina, and were blown away by the charming servers, delicious meals, and quick service. Everything about this restaurant is worth recommending, from the fresh tzatziki to fresh breads to the perfect desserts, I loved everything about our food. Our waiter (I wish I had taken his name) was so polite, prompt and sincere in checking up on us. 10/10 will be visiting this place often. Much love! ❤️

The waiter was rude, unfriendly and ignored me as much as he could. It started when I didn't know what I wanted to drink after 1 minute. The behavior continued until I paid - I think they overcharged me a bit, I could be wrong if the cover charge was 2.20. It's not tragic, but it leaves another bitter aftertaste. The other service staff were absolutely professional and very nice - unfortunately they weren't responsible for my table. Food was ok.

We had booked a time slot from 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. There was enough time for us to eat in peace. Even if the waiter cleared away our table a bit nervously 15 minutes before the end. However, if it takes 30 minutes to order the drinks and then the food, 2 hours could be a bit short. The food was impeccable. We'd love to come back. The gestures with the welcome drink and towards the end were very pleasant. ;-)

Good quality food. The food was there 2 minutes after ordering. The moussaka was only lukewarm. However, very hectic service. No feel-good atmosphere at all. Someone is always running into your chair. All neighboring tables had ouzo and some free dessert. We were offered neither one nor the other. Waiter was completely stressed. Neither a thank you nor a goodbye. This was the last visit to this restaurant for us.
