Everything was delicious, the restaurant was beautiful, the only flaw is that there isn't much space between one table and another. I recommend booking a table.

We had a wonderful evening at Taverna Melina in Munich! The food was simply fantastic – authentic Greek, fresh and incredibly tasty. From the starters to the main courses, everything tasted excellent and the selection really leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive staff, who welcomed us warmly and served us with a smile. We felt completely at home and can only recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

Disaster, prices are abnormally expensive, long waiting times and you have to pay an additional side dish for the meat dishes. Beftiki + side dish approx. 26 euros

We were completely impressed by the restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food was very good: the mixed starter platter was varied and offered a nice selection of authentic dishes. The best service I have had in Europe yet. Stellar atmosphere, drinks and food. We ordered the warm and cold mezedes, which was a FEAST for two.

Good food, friendly service, make sure to make a reservation. You have to order side dishes such as rice or fries separately for main courses. So it becomes quite expensive. In between there was ouzo.

Positive: Food was delicious, service was super friendly and welcoming. Negative: Food very expensive, very loud (also music), almost had to shout at us and very cramped, after two hours we were basically “kicked out” (albeit very friendly), as all reservations are limited to only 2 hours. That's really too little time, we had just eaten our main course, because we had also ordered starters, would have liked to have ordered dessert, espresso etc. but the waitress pointed out to us that we had to leave in 1 minute. Some of our glasses weren't empty either. It's a shame, that was extremely uncomfortable :(

I have been in this place a few times and I can say is one of the best greek restaurants I have ever been in. The food is super great quality and very tasty, and the restaurant itself with the effect of the warm lights creates a very comfy environment to have dinner. Just for information, if you are a big group and want to reserve a table, you have to get a menu (35-40€ each) and on top pay for the drinks :)

Food here is outstanding. Vibe on a busy night is chaotic and loud, but not in an unpleasant way. Get a reservation. At night the atmosphere is chic and well-lit. Did I say “Get a reservation”? I’m not joking. It’s worth it and if you want to enjoy your meal at a reasonable pace, you’ll be glad you booked ahead. Would 100% go back here again.

Typical Greek, busy, loud, a bit cramped and initially warmly welcomed. First impression great. Unfortunately it didn't stay that way for the rest of the evening. The food was very tasty and there were really exciting authentic dishes on the menu. Unfortunately the service was very bad, initially super friendly and nice. But: 5 drinks came 4 ways within 15-20 minutes. After we got the food the service practically stopped. Second round of drinks, which could be ordered after a long wait, simply didn't come. Music was at a discotheque level at some point. Unfortunately, it's not even remotely as warm as you're used to from a Greek restaurant. Probably a snapshot, but still not a nice dining experience. Despite the many guests, the food was very good.

We're 6 guys visiting from Belgium during Oktoberfest. The waiter was super nice. The food was amazing and the whole restaurant had an amazing vibe. Make sure to reserve your places! Because, understandably, they were full!

We sat outside in the beautiful garden. Very good food, very good wine. And above all, very friendly and attentive service.

Update mid-late 2024: Unfortunately, our last visits weren't as great as they were 6 months ago. Apparently there have been structural changes here that have had a significant impact on the quality and service, and unfortunately for the negative. Here too, an attempt is probably being made to pass on the adjustment of the VAT to the original 19% to the customer, but unfortunately the overall impression of the last visits has disappointed us rather than being memorable. P/L is no longer correct and everything there is no longer authentically Greek. For us by far the best Greek in Munich. Not only is the price-performance ratio absolutely right here, but the cuisine is simply authentic and the overall package is just right here. We always enjoy eating here and look forward to it every time.

Checked out the taverna today, yes, anyone who finds the journey in paros too far meets here 😂. We were in the mood for Greek and it was on the way. The prices are adjusted to the clientele 😉 but OK for Munich. My plate was full of meat, everything was well seasoned and delicious, tomato rice was nicely done, chicken was juicy and tzatziki was also delicious. Moussaka was a bit small for €16 but also tasty so no point deducted. I'd rather it be big and full of fat. There is only one star deducted because my food was only lukewarm, unfortunately! Either you stood at the pass for a long time or the pass doesn't have a heat lamp. Service was very nice even if a little overloaded but that can be forgiven the place was full. You can definitely try a very nice modern Greek restaurant in Munich!

Absolutely amazing Greek restaurant and my favourite in Munich. Greasy food, full of authentic Greek flavour and generous portions. Amazing tsatsiki. Staff super friendly, the environment makes you feel like in Greece. Souvlaki is a must.

Food ok, service slow and arrogant. Too bad. As is often the case with IN restaurants, our expectations were not really met. Of course, you have to make a reservation in the evening and get “kicked out” after 2 hours. It would be good if you were so quick that you didn't have to rush to pay immediately after you finished eating. We would have liked to consume more. Conclusion: overrated.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for delicious, authentic Greek food! There are many great options to choose from. The hot/cold mezze starter offers a variety of great options. The lemon chicken was very juicy, and the moussaka was amazing. Everything was fresh and was prepared quite quickly. Beyond that, the atmosphere is super nice. The staff is also very fun and friendly. Michaelis was fantastic and we felt really well taken care of! You should make a reservation because it gets very busy.

Despite the cloudburst, a very nice evening. The service was attentive, friendly and attentive as far as the crowds were concerned. Reservation needed. 5 stars would be possible, but the tables outside are very close together, "two-shift operation" (we made a reservation at 6:30 p.m. and had to leave at 8:30 p.m.), especially uncomfortable with the Greek restaurant, the food could be better prepared and presented. We were here for the first time this evening with friends. From the very friendly waiters, the nice outdoor seating to the extremely delicious food, for example fried vegetables, we were totally satisfied! You definitely have new regulars!😋🤩

Tasty, friendly, nice atmosphere. The dishes are a bit pricey (normal prices, smaller quantities), but very well prepared. The team is very nice, but they get quite stressed when the guests are full. It's nice to sit outside, but the dining room is also comfortably designed and invites you to linger. Tip: Try something different than the usual “classics”, such as the homemade Araka me aginares. If in doubt, the delicious mixed meze always works!

We ate at Taverna Melina twice with a larger team (2022 and 2024). The atmosphere, the terrace, the waiters, the ouzo, the Melina classic menu were all always great! I can only recommend! The only point of criticism is that there is actually too much food (with the menus; e.g. Melina Klassik). We always have a lot left over.
