Super cosy place for Greek dinner in Munich! The staff were very friendly and generous. Really recommend the courgette balls, the filled red pepper with cheese and the crispy feta!

The food was delicious, and everything arrived promptly. The service was also outstanding. Always attentive and very friendly. We'd be happy to go back!

I am THRILLED with this restaurant. The two of us were here. Since it was full, we got seats at the bar. Drinks and food arrived very quickly, even though it was so busy. We were offered schnapps on the house with our meal. Since my girlfriend and I didn't want alcohol, we declined. The service was incredibly professional. Refills and questions were handled without fail. The food tasted excellent. We were given dessert and coffee on the house afterward. At the end, we were offered a small ouzo and a drink on the house. Simply incredible. You might think the prices here are very high, but that's not true. It's actually too cheap. We will definitely be back. 5/5 House Well deserved.

As a group of women, we ended up at the kids' table (at the front end of the restaurant, to the left of the entrance) despite making a timely reservation. The food was good to very good (the mussels were very good, I was disappointed with the moussaka). We were given white bread beforehand to satisfy our hunger. The Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was very tasty. Although Milena was packed to the last standing and seating spot, we had a very charming and attentive waiter who, in addition to his professional knowledge, made us very happy. Several guests were waiting outside the restaurant for a table to become available, which speaks volumes about Milena...and that was on a regular Tuesday. The only negative: The women's restroom on the left side couldn't be closed and was completely wet, making the floor slippery. The small terry towels on the well-arranged shelf next to the sink were pleasant. The ambiance here could be improved. The noise level was very high, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation. Otherwise, absolutely recommended.

I had a wonderful evening with two of my friends here, enjoying exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. I had their salmon dish that is served in a burning hot pan, that the waiter unfortunately didn’t warn me about… the food however, was quite delicious, albeit rather pricy for the amount… the atmosphere created had definitely a Mediterranean vibe. We definitely felt like the sea wasn’t far 🤣. I might come here with some business colleagues for a lunch maybe.

We had a phenomenal dinner on our last night in Munich at Taverna Medina. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel like part of the family. The Melina Plate was absolutely mouthwatering. The restaurant's quiet, romantic ambiance added to the delightful experience. There are so many wonderful aspects to mention, but those stand out the most. I highly recommend this gem!

I was there for dinner with a friend of mine and we ordered the beetroot salad and the baked feta, pita bread & the side salad. Everything was super good & fresh. I really recommend going there. We were assisted by Jordanis, who was super warm and friendly with us, which made it extra special for us. I will be back!

I really like the stuff they are always so friendly but the service quality decreases every time. Today they forgot many of our orders. Normally they always gifts desserts and shots but for the last 2 times we did not receive any. Second last time since our table has not ready yet they suggested us some wine and we accepted but later they charged us for that.

Oh yes we are back in Munich in the annual search for excellent authentic Greek food. This Taverna hit the spot on all counts. Lovely people who greeted us at the door with a big Greek warm welcome and the feeling stayed the entire meal. The food was delicious and big portions. We are here for three weeks and I am sure at least once a week this will be our hangout for dinner. By 7pm it was packed always a good sign. A real neighborhood gem.

We found it on Google and came here. It's a wonderful restaurant. The food and appetizers were delicious. We ordered fish and chops, which were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. The staff was very professional and friendly. I recommend the ekmek kadayıf (bread shredded wheat) for dessert.

After several experiences at Taverna Melina, I wholeheartedly recommend going there for lunch or dinner. The Mediterranean ambiance adds a significant plus to the excellent dishes, complementing the friendly waitresses and waiters.

The food tasted great. My recommendation would be to add a bit more tzatziki, at least to the gyro plate, and to heat the plate thoroughly, as my meat unfortunately got cold quickly. The service was excellent, though, although the tables were perhaps too close together.

The two-hour reservation system entered our lives with the coronavirus pandemic, and there's no real conversation, no relaxation, and no enjoyment after a meal. Hurry up, eat, and leave. For this reason, this restaurant is on my "I won't go there again" list. I understand they're greedy and desperate to make money, but I wonder if they treat the locals the same way in their own country.

Pushy - Crowded - Nothing Special - Dubious (in brief) We were here for the first time a few days ago, but definitely for the last time. We arrived and had to wait 10 minutes - they wanted to seat us outside (even though it was raining at the time and had been raining in Munich for days) - after a discussion, we got a table. The whole place is so crowded with tables that there's hardly any room to sit down. A waiter who constantly touches my shoulder - sorry - a total NO-GO!!! If I'd known this waiter for years, it would be different. Every time he passed our table. #Unpleasant beyond belief. I asked him to stop - "Why, that doesn't bother anyone," was his reply. We ordered and received our drinks - which was a major problem. Ordered a shandy and got a beer - and the glasses didn't have an egg line (the fill level indicator). I've never experienced anything like that before. Our gyro was good - but nothing really special either. The salad was basically iceberg lettuce cut into 1/8s – very difficult to eat. However, the dressing was delicious, and you can get fresh pomegranate seeds everywhere. At the end, we asked for the bill – we received a note (which clearly stated "No Bill"). The waiter stood next to us with his wallet. I asked for a bill again. "You have to be careful," was his reply. I said it wasn't a bill. Again, we received the same answer. I explained to him that I wouldn't pay until I received an official bill and would then leave the restaurant and inform the authorities. Oops, suddenly he went and brought us a proper bill, as they are supposed to be handed out in Germany. Then the "boss" came along (obviously, but not sure) – he explained that an information sheet is always printed first, and that an invoice is required after payment and upon request from the guests. I work in the restaurant industry myself and have NEVER experienced anything like this. A very clear conclusion again: Pushty – narrow – nothing special – dubious

For me, this is the best Greek restaurant in Munich. Consistently delicious, top quality, and the fastest, most competent, and friendliest servers. They offer an occasional ouzo, and for dessert, watermelon or yogurt with nuts and honey is on the house. Simply delicious. Love it!

I can highly recommend this restaurant. You should make a reservation on the weekend. We were there on Friday, and it was overflowing, both inside and out. You can see how stressed and pressured the staff are, but they always serve with a smile. The restaurant was louder than a canteen, but no one seemed to mind. The food, of course, tastes delicious, and you can get really full just from the appetizer plates. And if you order pita bread, make sure it's with garlic!

Very good Greek place in Munich ! The food is very good. We were here on a Saturday evening, so a lot of people were eating and the service was a bot long, but I imagine it is due to the mass of people eating in the restaurant. We were placed in the middle of the terrace - it was a little hot and loud, due to the parasols. We were offered a small dessert and ouzo glass. The atmosphere is very nice as well. At some point, Greek music was played and people started dancing. Really recommend this place !

Best Greek food we’ve ever had…and we love Greek food and have been to Greece. The staff are warm, friendly and charming. The atmosphere is cool, relaxed and comfortable. WONDERFUL experience! Our vegetarian daughter even loved her meal.
