Wir hatten ein fantastisches Erlebnis! Das Essen war einfach köstlich, alles frisch, voller Geschmack und wunderschön angerichtet. Jedes Gericht wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet, und man merkte sofort, dass hochwertige Zutaten verwendet wurden. Die Atmosphäre war genauso wunderbar! Warm, einladend und entspannend – der perfekte Ort, um ein großartiges Essen zu genießen. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und aufmerksam und wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Ein besonderer Dank gilt dem kretischen Herrn für seine herzliche Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit. Seine Herzlichkeit und Leidenschaft haben unseren Besuch noch unvergesslicher gemacht. Vielen Dank, dass wir uns so willkommen gefühlt haben – wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Während eines dreitägigen Städtetrips habe ich das Restaurant zwei Abende hintereinander besucht. Ich war angenehm überrascht von der Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals sowie vom köstlichen Essen. Ein Abstecher lohnt sich!

Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt, daher empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Sollten Sie spontan vorbeikommen, wird das Personal aber auch versuchen, einen Platz für Sie zu finden. Eine authentische Taverne in toller Lage. Das Essen war köstlich. Die Calamari waren perfekt gegrillt und hatten eine schöne goldene Farbe. Die Dorade war saftig und frisch. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr freundlich.

Ich setzte Hafen daher mit Heimat oder Zuhause gleich, denn kommt man als Gast in das Restaurant, wird man freundlich und herzlich begrüßt ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Keine aufgesetzte Höflichkeit, kein übel gelaunter Kellner - man fühlt sich sofort gut aufgehoben! Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, hervorragende Qualität gepaart mit Witz und Charme - leider in der Gastronomie mittlerweile eine Seltenheit und daher eine deutliche und verdiente Würdigung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unsere Nachfrage nach bestimmten Anforderungen an den Weißwein wurde professionell beantwortet, in dem der Kellner mit dem Flschenwein an den Tisch kam, um ihn vor unseren Augen zu öffnen und zwei Gläser für mich und meine Frau für den Probierschluck parat hatte. Im Anschluss wurde der Wein in die Karaffe der bestellten Größe gefüllt und sogar ein Weinkühler zur Karaffe bereitgestellt. Immer wenn ich das erste Mal in einem Restaurant bin, esse ich den Klassiker. In einem griechischen Restaurant also Gyros. Perfekt gewürzt, auf den Punkt gegart am Drehspieß, sehr saftig und eine vernünftige Portion zu einem angemessenen Preis! So sollte es sein, wenn man sein verdientes Geld gerne in einem Gastronomiebetrieb ausgeben möchte. Es war für mich der erste Besuch im Limani und ich sage schon jetzt, das wird „unser“ Grieche und bin überzeugt, dass die Qualität in allen Bereichen auch weiterhin überzeugen und begeistern wird. Ich war Anfang März alleine ohne Reservierung im Limani und wurde direkt freundlich zu meinem Tisch begleitet. Ich war wirklich beeindruckt vom herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Service. Die Speisen waren frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Wenn ich wieder in München bin, werde ich dieses Restaurant bestimmt erneut besuchen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und es war für uns von Anfang an ein tolles Erlebnis! Zum Start gab es kleine diverse Vorspeisen, bis hin zum Hauptgang, die allesamt sehr lecker und authentisch zubereitet waren! Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, verbunden mit einer gewissen Herzlichkeit. Da fühlt man sich als Gast gleich richtig wohl. Unser nächster Besuch ist gewiß!

Ich war gestern in der Taverna Limani und hatte den Neptun-Teller. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber ich fand die Portion sehr klein (meiner Meinung nach eher die Größe einer Vorspeise). Trotzdem war das Gericht deutlich teurer als die Hauptspeisen meiner Freunde. Ich verstehe, dass Meeresfrüchte teurer sind, aber wieso wird nicht etwas Reis oder Kartoffeln dazu gereicht? Ich bin leider hungrig aus dem Haus gegangen :-/

Es gibt Sterne!!! Heute zum Muttertag,das perfekte Menü. Lammschulter und Kaninchen super zubereitet saftig und extra Sauce bekommen. Grandiose Schokoladenmousse. Perfekt ! Es war lecker und der Bediener war super freundlich.

Ich war jetzt schon zum sechsten oder siebten Mal in diesem wunderschönen Restaurant. Es ist ein fantastischer Ort für ein romantisches Abendessen oder um etwas Besonderes zu feiern. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig, und bisher war alles, was wir probiert haben, hervorragend, köstlich, frisch und perfekt zubereitet. Im Sommer kann man auch sehr gerne draußen sitzen.

Bin jetzt schon ein paarmal da gewesen und beim letzten Mal haben wir den Geburtstag meines Mannes nach gefeiert. Ich wusste schon, dass was passiert aber sie machen das einfach immer super schön mit Musikservietten werfen und Kerzen, ohne dass man vorher um irgendetwas bitten muss. Essen und Service top. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr zeitlos und schön.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit einem Service den ich seit langen nicht mehr erleben durfte, herzlich freundlich mit gutem Humor ohne aufdringlich zu sein, gute Empfehlungen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben am 18.04. die Taufe unseres Sohnes im Limani in München gefeiert – und es war einfach rundum perfekt! Von der Planung bis zur Durchführung war alles hervorragend organisiert und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Der Ablauf lief reibungslos, sodass wir den Tag in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Das Essen war exzellent – qualitativ auf höchstem Niveau und geschmacklich einfach herausragend. Ein ganz großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team für den großartigen Service und die herzliche Atmosphäre. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Manolis, der uns den ganzen Abend über begleitet hat. Seine aufmerksame, freundliche und äußerst zuvorkommende Art hat den Abend für uns noch einmal besonders gemacht. Vielen Dank für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Gutes Essen, unbestritten. aber wenn Du reservieren willst, wird man am Telefon dazu gezwungen pro Person 35€ Mindestumsatz zu machen oder nach zwei Stunden zu gehen. Sorry, das ist unverschämt. Es gibt genug andere guten Griechen in der Stadt, die auch noch griechische Gastfreundschaft und Willkommenskultur bieten.

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant, wenn wir Lust auf griechisches Essen haben! Besonders zu empfehlen ist der gegrillte Baby-Oktopus 🐙 – eine Grillplatte zum Teilen ist eine tolle Portion.

Gestern im Limani am Mangfallplatz reserviert – absolut empfehlenswert, da das Restaurant oft voll ist! Zuerst an einen Tisch in der Mitte gesetzt, aber mit dem Versprechen eines ruhigeren Platzes – und das hat super schnell geklappt. Am Ende saßen wir in einem ruhigen, schönen Eckchen. Service top: Sehr zuvorkommend, der Chef persönlich engagiert. Als Vorspeise bestellt, kam noch eine Zwischenvorspeise gratis, weil die Küche etwas länger brauchte – hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, sondern war eine nette Geste. Essen wie immer sehr lecker, frisch und aromatisch – typisch griechisch mit viel Geschmack und perfekter Zubereitung. Die Atmosphäre ist einladend modern gehalten, ich würde sogar fast behaupten, kein klassischer Grieche. Kleine, aber feine, sehr gute Speisekarte. Wichtig: Tisch im Voraus reservieren! Zahlung bevorzugt per EC-Karte (nicht Kreditkarte). Kommt man gerne wieder!

Wirklich ein Grieche, bei dem es traditionelles frisches, griechisches Essen gibt. Hintergrundinformationen werden zum Essen gerne gegeben und man bekommt sogar etwas, was so nicht auf der Karte steht, wenn die entsprechenden Zutaten da sind. Fragen kostet nichts. Immer wieder gerne.

Seit ungefähr 12 Jahren gehe ich in der Taverna Limani in unregelmäßigen Abständen essen. Seitdem war ich mindestens 20 Mal dort. Kein einziges Mal wurde ich enttäuscht. Ganz im Gegenteil: Jedes Mal wundere ich mich wieder, wie hervorragend Essen schmecken kann. Service immer Top und Qualität seit dem ersten Tag gleichbleibend herausragend. Die Preise sind ein wenig über dem Durchschnitt, aber das ist es allemal wert. Man sollte reservieren, der Laden ist nicht groß und fast immer gut besucht. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Das Lokal ist mein absoluter Lieblings-Grieche. Ich werde immer wieder kommen! 😉

Limani is a great place to eat. The slightly higher prices (compared to other Greek restaurants) are justified. The service is friendly and attentive.

We decided to eat here at short notice and managed to get a table on a busy Sunday. So, it's best to make a reservation. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is good, and the drinks menu is well-chosen. The staff is extremely friendly. Our expectations were met.

An excellent restaurant that really deserves more recognition. The negative comments I have read make no sense and certainly do not reflect the real experience. The place has a very nice and warm atmosphere, ideal for casual dining but also for more special occasions. The staff is polite, helpful and always with a smile, which makes the difference. Overall, this is a restaurant that offers quality and hospitality and I highly recommend it.

Great authentic fresh Greek food, i love their small deep fried octopus, very tasty it has fantastic vibe with a lot of locals. The only shame is our grilled fish plates are undercooked it feels like the rush affected the cooking time.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Munich and were very satisfied. As a Turkish person, the flavors felt familiar to our cuisine; when it comes to seafood, Greek restaurants often come to mind; this place truly delivers that Mediterranean taste. I can honestly say it was the best salmon I have ever eaten. The service and staff were friendly and welcoming; the atmosphere was pleasant; and the food was excellent. To top it off, the assorted desserts we ordered were very fresh and delicious. It’s a great local spot away from the tourist crowds; highly recommended.

We recently returned to Limani for the second time and were once again impressed by the restaurant's freshness and flavor, as well as its presentation and service. We were served by a waiter with a perfect knowledge of the dishes and a profound understanding of the wines, something I haven't experienced in a long time. The Limani perfectly complemented the entire evening. Thank you very much.

WOW, hide this from tourists (even though we are one). Hidden in a gem of a neighborhood and off the beaten path, this is what Michelin folks should be looking for! The quaint atmosphere, the service, the food, the wine! All experiencing bursting with so much joy (taste, sound, smell). This by far was our favorite restaurant in all our European travels on our 2-week trip.

I felt really welcome even was the first time I went there, and this is pure Mediterranean culture! Hospitality is the main dish here, but we had also somee food 😅 . As starter we had the mix of cold and warm on the menu that I strongly recommend since will offer you the chance to taste different stuff. As main dishes we had lamb in two different preparations and I found both great dishes! For sure I will be around I will come back to try the rest of their offers so I could move all to 5 stars. Thanks again to the staff, you are doing a great job, with tangible passion and respect for the tradition.

Definitely recommended! Last time, unfortunately, there was no Uso, which is a bit unusual for a Greek restaurant, even though it was a birthday party. It's a bit of a shame... but the food is always fantastic! The portions are also filling.

While the food is still good, the service is very unfriendly, comparable to that of a fast-food restaurant. The staff waits for you to finish your food quickly to make room for more customers. I used to enjoy this restaurant, but after this week's experience, I can no longer recommend it.

Food and service: The food used to be better and has unfortunately declined, which in itself isn't so bad as the quality is still better or higher than elsewhere. But: This time, right from the start, there was no good impression, and there was almost no sense of welcome as a guest. Instead, we were just quickly dealt with. There were several of us/had several courses, and none of us wanted to be "fawned over." The (perhaps a temporary?) "waiter" and the older shift manager were more like feigned friendliness, actually grumpy and thus too rude = no one wants to pay a lot of money for a restaurant visit planned as a nice meal when the only thing they'll remember is the overly unfriendly service and, at times, inattentiveness. So even the food there—which is in itself the most important criterion—can't save it. As part of the team in customer contact with the guests :-( rather unsuitable. In 2024 and before Corona around 2019, it was nicer there, so even if the service is not optimal, it can be neglected if at least it is honestly a bit nice instead of just unprofessional plus fake nice = overall just too grumpy and unfriendly puts off further eating there. In terms of service and cuisine, I can judge without prejudice because I work in retail myself - previously as a young woman also in the catering industry - and appreciate good or very good service and cuisine when it is good or very good. This is therefore a rather not good review, I have not written any bad ones so far = unfortunately I do not agree with the reviews of others because it is unfortunately totally overrated, we have sat and eaten there in the inn garden for several years now in the summer and this summer 2025 was the last time for me, after three times there, never again. It's a shame because despite being in the middle of an old "bad" historic / actually creepy as a former Nazi model Housing estate" residential area nice to seat.

Limani is an absolutely fantastic Greek restaurant. Very authentic and simply amazing. The food there is amazing. Truly excellently seasoned. I usually need salt, but not there. The service is simply excellent and very competent. The young woman was simply fantastic. The service was simply top-notch. Very informal. I'd happily come back anytime. I highly recommend it.

The best Greek restaurant in town! I always enjoy coming here. You're always greeted warmly, and the food is excellent. I'm not a wine drinker myself, but I've been told it's also very good. I can especially recommend the warm appetizers. Fresh, warm pita and the calamari. In general, you can eat a variety of excellent fish dishes here. And a big compliment to our waitress, Rea. She served us quickly and friendly, and you can tell she knows what she's doing. She remembers exactly who ordered what and didn't seem to lose track even with the larger groups at the next table, which were a bit more difficult. A pro! Oh, and the dessert she recommended to us was as simple as it was delicious. Vanilla ice cream with angel hair... A dream.

The meat was succulent, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Better than many specialized meat restaurants anywhere. Pleasant ambiance, staff with a smile, obviously adore their job.

They do not update the schedules

The food tastes very good. However, the seating in the restaurant is far too close together. Four people are seated at a table that would normally be too big for two people. The owner is sometimes moody, loud, and aggressive in his dealings with his customers. We won't be coming back.

It used to be really great, But unfortunately, a lot has changed for the worse. I ordered appetizers like the garlic bread and the garlic pita, and it was thickly burnt and really dry. Only the gyro pita was OK, because the meat and the tzatziki provided plenty of moisture. The worst thing, though, is that you get sent away despite being loyal for years. And when you, as a normal person, compare yourself to the people who get food, you realize that if you don't look rich, you won't get anything to take out. It's happened a few times now, and they've also said that it's not possible right now, while the receipts are piling up... Isn't it your job when you run a restaurant to make sure there are enough people there? Especially since it's not cheap. So it's better to go to someone who values your money.

This Greek taverna is a little gem! The food is so delicious that I almost forgot I only wanted a gyro – but then a tzatziki arrived that was so fresh I almost thought it had fallen from the sky. The staff is super friendly and always has a smile on their faces – even when the ouzo tastes a little too good! The atmosphere is like a mini vacation in Greece, but without the packing. Highly recommended – you feel like you're staying with friends here!

Very good Greek food. Service was friendly and professional. A definite recommendation.

Portions were quite small, the food itself was OK. Service was nonexistent. The waiter just walked past, never looking, even though everyone's glasses were long empty at the table. Absolutely unprofessional. Attempts to make eye contact with the waiter were impossible because, as mentioned, they simply don't look at their guests. The waitress spilled a drink on my wife's white trousers; no reaction, no apology, nothing! Simply abysmal, unfriendly, and impersonal. I shouldn't be spending money on that.
