Not particularly, there are better restaurants for this money. The narrow streets and no parking are annoying. The restaurant is in the middle of a residential area and there is no parking.

This is one of the best Greek taverns in Munich that I know. The food is always great, the atmosphere is always cozy.

Unfortunately, from a culinary point of view, it was a mediocre to bad experience. The gyros were okay. Bifteki tasted really bitter and was partly black. Suvlaki was the same way. These were no longer roasted aromas but rather smelled of burnt coal. Both were also quite bland in taste and not very seasoned. I also suspect burnt oregano (because of the bitterness) Pita bread unfortunately came to the table cold but was soft and therefore edible. The starters were all okay. The toilets were clean and the service was friendly. The ambience is of course a matter of taste. It appealed to me. The grill definitely needs to be improved. Then the restaurant would also be worth 5 stars. Unfortunately for me now only 2 for the food.

Excellent experience at Limani Greek Restaurant in Munich! We recently had dinner at Limani Restaurant and absolutely loved it! The gyro was simply outstanding – tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The taste immediately transported us to Greece! But not only was the food outstanding, but also the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and immediately made us feel welcome. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we can highly recommend Limani. This is in my opinion THE BEST greek restaurant in Munich! The food is amazing, super tasty and the meat is always SO good! We have 2 kids and we have always been super welcome there and the waiters and owner are extremely friendly with them (which does not happen very often). Atmosphere is also really nice :) Our go-to greek!

Super delicious food, I really enjoyed everything here. Very attentive service. Nice place! But I have to be honest: the prices are too steep for me. 34 euros for 7 king prawns on a small salad, that's just a huge amount.

Quiet location in a residential area (parking on the street - unfortunately sometimes very tight). Friendly, courteous service. Suitable for company Christmas parties - everyone received their food at the same time (sometimes a little colder). Good food at fair prices, which is definitely worth a visit.

Suburban Greek with decidedly modern furnishings. The meat was well seasoned and tender. Unfortunately the fries were neither particularly crispy nor tasty. Since there were no other side dishes apart from tzatziki, the whole meal seemed a little frugal.

We went to Taverna Limani for lunch with our little son for the first time today and we are still absolutely thrilled. The ambience is great, the food was delicious and what should be particularly highlighted is the excellent service! We have never experienced anything so friendly and accommodating in a restaurant. We love Greek food and have now found our new favorite Greek place :). A huge congratulations to the entire team and see you soon!

While the restaurant was very busy and the stress was high, all conditions remained calm and friendly! We had lamb chops and chicken skewers that were cooked perfectly (medium/juicy). It was really good. Thumbs up for that.

The service is very attentive, excellent quality combined with wit and charm - unfortunately now a rarity in the catering industry and therefore a clear and deserved appreciation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our request for specific white wine requirements was answered professionally when the waiter came to the table with the bottled wine, opened it in front of us and had two glasses ready for me and my wife to taste. The wine was then filled into the carafe of the size ordered and a wine cooler was even provided for the carafe. Whenever I go to a restaurant for the first time, I eat the classic. So gyros in a Greek restaurant. Perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection on the rotisserie, very juicy and a reasonable portion at a reasonable price! This is how it should be if you want to spend the money you earn in a restaurant. It was my first visit to Limani and I can already say that it will be “our” Greek and I am convinced that the quality in all areas will continue to impress and inspire. Dear Limani, it's a real shame. Since you existed, we have always enjoyed being your guests. You enjoyed celebrating various birthdays and anniversaries. Often just enjoyed a delicious meal. In Corona times, we picked up takeaway food from you and were happy to wait longer with an ouzo and a comforting chat. Our daughter's confirmation with many guests also took place at your place and was wonderful. Unfortunately, many years of loyalty do not mean that you are recognized and treated with attention. Reserved a table for my husband's birthday today. Pointed out the birthday that same evening. After arriving at 7 p.m. we weren't served for 25 minutes. Then we went personally to the boss and asked if we could at least order drinks. Then a grumpy waiter appears. We can order. No smile, no kind word. After the starters comes the main course. The accompanying salads are forgotten. After a while we ask. The salads are then brought out. No friendly gesture, no apology. Not to mention a happy birthday... This was not how we had imagined the evening to be. We know this differently from you in the past. And we know it differently from other restaurants. It's full there, the staff there is also stressed, but you're still treated kindly and hospitably and valued. Well, maybe we were just unlucky with our waiter. But we won't risk anything in the future and would rather celebrate somewhere else.

Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Wow… the Tzatziki and Hummus were great, they have a very nice Saganaki and Moussaka. You truly can’t go wrong with anything your order. The atmosphere is of this restaurant is great. It’s tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to come for any occasion. Update of an approx. 6 year old review: Now that I'm in Munich less often, I'm also there less often. The price has gone up a bit (of course), but the restaurant is worth every single euro you invest. Quality is delivered here. Yesterday we ate incredibly delicious food again, plus motivated, attentive and really good service. Very nice! The restaurant is my benchmark for good, interesting Greek cuisine, and I have never been happier in that context than here. I can't say anything about the extensive wine list; I usually still have to drive. The restaurant is decorated quite nicely, pleasantly, less “classic” folklore. And yes, maybe the tables are a bit cramped. Gifted. I'm more interested in what it says, which has been extremely satisfactory so far, over several years now. And for those with old diesel vehicles: Located outside the Middle Ring :-P

This is a very lovely Greek Taverna with delicious food. The restaurant has both inside and outside seating. Outside, a good portion of the seats has protection against too much sun and potentially against light rain. The chairs are wood and from what we've seen, don't have seating cushions, so they are not the most comfortable for seating long. It wasn't a problem for the 60-90 minutes we've spent there to have dinner. The staff was friendly and well spirited. Our ordered food and drinks arrived quickly and were at the right temperatures. The drinks we've ordered were mixed well. The starters (fried hot green peppers, grilled octopus) were excellent. So were the main courses (stuffed calamari, lamb skewers with rosemary potatoes and tzatziki). The fries were good as well. The extra request to replace the rice with fries was granted without any complaints. The location is in the middle of a residential area, so there's no considerable car traffic or noise in the area, which makes this a really nice and relaxed place. The food here is the highlight, so I think we'll be back. Price/value was really fair, as portion sizes were generous, as you can see in the pictures. We'll be back again in the future, I predict.

Hello. I was visiting Mch. They invited me through friends who often go there. It was delicious and everyone was so friendly and nice.

The food is OK. The service had forgotten the dessert we ordered...okay, that can happen in the hustle and bustle. However, it was not noticed several times that there were no more drinks available... I find it inattentive. Waiters should ask every now and then whether everything is OK, etc. Larger groups or Greek-speaking guests, however, were served very courteously. But maybe we were just unlucky on our evening. However, the first visit makes a difference and it is unlikely that you will come back again. It's a shame actually. We liked the location.

Highly recommend giving Taverna Limani a try if you're in the area. Get the mixed hot and cold appetizers if you want a great variety of authentic Greek cuisine.

The food is really bad. The service is really quick. It was our first time in the restaurant and we were not known to the owner and we were treated exactly the same way. We have rarely received such an unfriendly welcome and couldn't shake the feeling that the table should be reoccupied as quickly as possible. In the end we paid 60 euros and weren't even looked at when we said goodbye.

Not bad, definitely worth trying, but I don't think the price-performance ratio of location/interior/food is quite good. I think it's a bit overpriced for the relatively simple location. If you spice it up a bit it would be more convincing. Thanks

Very friendly service. Nice atmosphere both inside and outside. I liked Rezina. Now about the food: we really liked the Mediterranean starter platter. Very successful combination. Artichokes, stuffed calamari, salmon excellent, the rest good. We also ordered a plate of lamb chops, gyros and souflaki. Side dish of fries, tzatziki and a small mixed salad. The lamb was ok, the souflaki acceptable (not dry, barely seasoned, some not completely cooked), gyros unacceptable (completely unseasoned, not a single piece crispy, the whole meat just soft and oily - I know that much better from various restaurants). The fries were ok, tzatziki were good, the small salad was ok, but we didn't like the dressing at all. Including 1l of still water, 1l of Retsina and 2 Greek coffees and a pita bread, the bill came to 83 euros - that's acceptable if everything was really good. By the way: Limani seems to me to be the only Greek restaurant in Munich where there is no ouzo or something similar on the house at the end - we don't expect that, but that may irritate some guests.

Beautiful ambience, friendly service and, above all, such delicious food. If you like eating fish and seafood, you should definitely go there, as there are many delicacies on the menu. We ourselves chose a cold starter platter with pite and pimentos. Then there were the lamb fillet kebabs with rosemary potatoes. The meat was very tender and very flavorful. Of course there was also a dessert, I chose the panacotta and my husband the Greek yogurt. This was also very tasty, fresh and not too sweet. The restaurant was very busy, so I would advise everyone to reserve a table in advance.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant. Starting with the food, which tasted excellent. This has nothing to do with a standard Greek restaurant, but offers taste masterpieces. Service was extremely good, the waitresses were all very friendly and you could tell that everyone enjoyed their job.

Was there twice, once on the terrace and once inside. Food was good, reasonably priced. I would go again.

It's best to go there by public transport because finding a parking space nearby requires a bit of luck.
