Super friendly host, Great food and yet easy on the wallet.

I have never seen such an owner! And I will probably visit him as often as I can. Amazing person, great staff and great taverna! They have very tasty foods including calamari and gyros. Additionally appetizers are also great. You must definitely go there! When you meet the maestro over there, you will understand what I mean🙏🏻

Rather inconspicuous in the basement, but the food is excellent and the boss is happy to put together a grill plate on request. Very ingenious. The prices are more than reasonable for the location. The service is great and there is regular live music

Very good Greek restaurant. Super polite staff. I really enjoyed the food. We ordered Grill Calameri with tzatziki, fries and pita bread, with a side salad. The calamari was very tasty and soft. There was also a large plate of pita bread. I didn't take a photo, the food just disappeared from the plates too quickly. There was also a small concert of Greek music there. Very nice place, 100% recommended.

Good Greek restaurant with some improvement. The first thing you have to complain about is the table height. There is only one regular height table. In all others, the table top is so low that you can reach it with your knees. There is only one table for three with normal seating height in the restaurant. The food tastes excellent. Unfortunately, the food was served to us with ice-cold plates, so the dishes got cold very quickly. Please preheat the plates here. The manager of the house is very attentive and responds to criticism and requests. Entertaining music during meals by a guitar player. Every now and then a band also plays.

Great Greek place with zero pretend. It's kitsch but tasty and the owner is super nice and welcoming. Just don't expect refined interior and synthetic rustic authenticness, this is exactly the opposite.

Greek restaurant downstairs, kebab stall and al fresco dining at street level - food and service were excellent. The staff made the meal special for our daughter's 10th birthday - they sang Happy Birthday and brought a special little cake and give her a small present. Really amazing service as we had not mentioned it in advance. Well recommended.

It is the best taverna I’ve ever been in Munich. There’s live music in the evening. The musician guy was amazing, such a beautiful traditional Greek music. The food was so delicious and portions are quite big for this suitable price. The waiters especially Yakup abi was so kind, welcoming and nice. We ordered the halloumi entree, lamb main and chicken souvlaki with baclava for dessert. Meals were a good size and the pita bread was a stand out. Ouzo was given when we sat down and they gave us a free small dessert as well. Plus there was live music. Only negative was cash only.

We were here for lunch. You can sit both inside and outside. We sat outside due to the good weather. This was very nice with a view of Rosenheimer Platz. We were immediately warmly welcomed. There was also an ouzo on the house as a welcome. The food itself came quickly and was very tasty. We had gyros & calamari and grilled vegetables. Both dishes were fresh and delicious. At the end there was a cake on the house. Prices were reasonable. All in all, we can understand the good reviews very well. We'll be back.

I don't even know where to start, so I'll start at the end first. My partner received a rose as a present, which tells us a lot about the hospitality of the house. We will remember this Greek restaurant positively. Regarding the dishes we can say that everything was prepared very mildly with garlic according to our taste. There is a good selection of starters and main courses on the menu, there is something for everyone and children are also taken into account.

Excellent Greek cuisine and a great team. We felt more like we were eating with friends than in a restaurant. It was our first time there - visiting Munich with a friend. Big surprise when a guitar player also played Greek songs! A visit to Munich will now always take us here.

I felt very welcome and happy, no joke...the service is outstanding! They make you feel at home and you really feel like you are somewhere in Greece. I think the owner is very empathetic and always pays a lot of attention to the smallest details, like giving you more napkins, drinks, a real gentleman, he took good care of us. The food was delicious and the live music was unique, I will definitely visit again!!

Amazing Greek place not far from the center. We came here for a dinner and were not disappointed. The service was amazing, you can see that everyone who works there is a true fan of what they are doing. There was also live music and atmosphere was was very cozy. Prices are not high and the food was fresh and delicious. We got a mousaka and a grilled fish. Both came with a small salad and bread. We got free welcome drinks and small desserts as well. Overall, highly recommend for a nice dinner.

We visited the restaurant for the first time with our two children. I haven't experienced such friendly and relaxed service in a long time. The food was a delight and the child-friendliness was simply great. We would be happy to come back and thank you again for the great evening.

Einfach nur super - Ambiente einmalig, man fühlt sich wie auf einer griechischen Insel. Essen auch absolut gut, bester Grieche bei dem wir seit langer Zeit waren!

I am not one to write a lot of reviews, but I feel that more people should know about this restaurant. The ambience was incredible, and the waitress was impeccable and very kind. A gentleman was playing the guitar and singing Greek songs, which made the experience even more unique. The owner was always checking that we were well-fed, and came to speak to us in different occasions. If I could, I would give this restaurant a 10 out of 5. It is just a shame that I don't live in Munich and cannot come more often because it would definitely be my favourite restaurant in my city.

Some of the best Greek food we've ever experienced hidden downstairs in a small shopping center in...Munich. Can't recommend enough. Excellent food, service and live music. Cash only, worth every penny.

Wir als "Haidhauser" haben dieses Lokal leider viel zu spät entdeckt. Ein netter gepflegter Grieche. Sehr freundliches Personal, schneller kompetenter Service. Sehr gute Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Nachspeisen. Wir kommen gewiss wieder!

We went there for a team dinner (15 people). They welcomed us with a very nicely organized huge table. Everyone was able to talk to each other. It was a great setting. We ordered everything in the menu and the food was totally amazing. The staff was super friendly and kind. We even had live music by a gentleman. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so estival, you can feel like you are in your summer vacation. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again! :) P.S: thanks for the roses!

Wir waren nach einem Kinobesuch zu viert zum Essen. Es war ein rundum schöner Abend. Das Essen war wirklich gut, besonders die Kalamari. Die Livemusik war wunderbar, vielen Dank dafür. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der aufmerksame und freundliche Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder.

As an immigrant I miss my hometown in Brazil, and it was funny today at the restaurant, because I was feeling like home again. It was a really familiar atmosphere. I do not speak German, but they communicate with me really kindly. 5 stars

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Zum Gyros-Kalamares Teller gabs vorab einen Salat und davor einen Ouzo. Zum Nachtisch gabs aufs Haus zwei kleine Stücke Kuchen getränkt in irgendwas süßes mit Sahne - war super lecker. Wir haben zum Salat Brot bekommen und uns wurde zur Hauptspeise nochmal Brot angeboten. Zum Abschluss ein zweiter Ouzo. Essen war super lecker, Personal war freundlich und humorvoll. Erneuter Besuch? Auf jeden Fall…

I ate dinner here with my wife. We both loved our food. Great hospitality, great food and service. A good value for the price. I think this was better than any food I ate in Greece. The only down side for us was the stairs since we both have bad knees. Also remember it is cash only here no card payment.

A Greek Taverna with live music starting at 19:00. The place is possibly family owned. The food is tasty and the service excellent. We have received Ouzo as soon as they accommodated us to the table. A selection of desserts has been provided on the house. A rose has been given to us when we paid. Nice Mediterranean flavour, we will come back

The name of the restaurant has been changed and it is below ground level, a combination made it a bit difficult to locate, but thanks Google Map which led us to here...Food was fine, with side dishes came with the main order and dessert in the house although a bit too sweet for our taste

Super gutes Essen und bester Service!

Ein kleines Restaurant an dem ich fast vorbeigelaufen wäre, der Eingang ist etwas versteckt und es geht ins Untergeschoss. Das Restaurant ist in den griechischen Farben blau und weiß gehalten und irgendwie total niedlich, weil es auch nicht so groß ist. Mein Gefühl war, dass es ein Familienbetrieb ist. Wir wurden von einem älteren Herrn bedient, der sehr freundlich war. Zum Anfang gab es Ouzo aufs Haus. Ich hab mir Kalamari bestellt und es hat mir richtig gut geschmeckt. Die Portion war mittelgroß, so dass auch noch eine Vorspeise Platz gehabt hätte. Besonders nett, wir haben eine Variation aus Nachspeisen aufs Haus erhalten und beim Bezahlen sogar noch einen zweiten Ouzo. Ab 19 Uhr gab es sogar Livemusik. Bisschen schade finde ich, dass die Getränke nur in 0,33 Gläsern serviert werden. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner Abend, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Fui a comer y estaba todo buenísimo, además que el dueño te avisa si es mucha cantidad. Me invitó a un chupito de cortesía, y además me regaló una rosa al pagar. 💲 Muy buena relación calidad precio. Delicious meal! Great service! I had the glazed lamb with orzo and salad. The delivery was super fast, the servers were extremely nice, and we received a complementary haloumi dish, desert and a rose. I loved it here and will most definitely come back when in Munich!

Astonishing Greek food with excellent service & host. The tzatziki, feta & halloumi were fantastic starters, to go with the dry house red wine. The mains were generous & #69 was my favorite. My cousin is vegetarian & raved about #55 & the orzo. Ευχαριστώ, νόστιμο!

Absoluut een aanrader. Heerlijk eten en een fantastische vriendelijke gastheer die er voor zorgt dat je niets ontbreekt. Ik kon mij niet voorstellen dat een 4,9 qua sterren klopt maar het is verdient.

Hier wird der Gast wie ein König behandelt. Waren heute, zwei Erwachsene mit Kleinkind dort essen. Essen war wirklich lecker, der Service ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, wie man es nur selten findet. Der kleine Gast wurde super umsorgt, bekam statt Ouzo aufs Haus Apfelsaftschorle und als Dessert viele Gummibärchen. Großes Plus: Kinderessen gibt es zu sehr fairen Preisen. Die Reisnudeln bereits für 2 €!! Wir finden das Gesamtpacket einsame Spitze und kommen sehr gern wieder.

I have been to this lovely, authentic restaurant many times with both friends and family (including children) and always have a wonderful time. We always receive a warm and friendly welcome, the food is delicious (with generous portions) and on certain evenings there is live Greek music. There are options of indoor and outdoor seating. It's an excellent local place. I would highly recommend a visit.
