Taverna Kypros in München

Leider habe ich am Anfang kein Foto vom Essen gemacht, aber auf anderen Fotos der Gäste sieht man, dass es ziemlich einfach war. Unser Salat bestand aus welkem Gemüse, der Hauptgang wurde auf einem zerbrochenen Teller serviert, und insgesamt war das Essen geschmacklos. Der Kellner war aber nett. 😌

Leider nicht mehr das was es mal war :-( Vor 10 Jahren als Pedro noch der Inhaber war, waren wir Stammgäste. Da hat alles gestimmt. Jetzt waren wir mal wieder zu Besuch in Pasing und sowas von enttäuscht. Essen kalt, Vorspeise kam mit dem Hauptgang, Pommes waren wirklich schlecht. So, so schade was aus dem Lokal geworden ist. Damals musste man man immer reservieren, aktuell scheinbar gar nicht nötig. Traurige Entwicklung... Mit Pedro damals war es immer TOP!!!

Das Abendessen war sehr gut. Die Empfehlung des Kellners sowie seine freundliche Art waren perfekt. Wer gerne griechisch essen geht, findet dort sicher etwas. Auch gut für Vegetarier geeignet.

Wir waren in einer Gruppe spontan dort und es hat sich gelohnt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Team ist gut drauf und lieb und nett. Es hat Spaß gemacht bei Euch und wir haben sehr gut gegessen 🙂

Heute wars „Die Krönung“ Eine 3/4 Stunde Saßen wir im Lokal ohne Personal Ein anderer Gast informierte uns, das es mit der S Bahn Probleme gibt ganz genau haben wir es nicht verstanden Komisch war das keine Anderen Gäste Kamen Nur wir 2 und ein größerer Familien Tisch Junger Mann kam zu uns an den Tisch nach 50 Minuten Und wir konnten bestellen Warme Vorspeise Und Gyros mit Baby Kalamar Vorspeise war gut Pita 🥙 Brot schon kalt und kein Knoblauch Essen Gyros total kalt wie aus Kühlschrank Kamari gut und warm nicht heiss…. Reis 🍚 war auch warm Wir hatten Hunger darum haben wir die warmen Sachen gegessen und musst für die Reklamation zur Theke um zu reklamieren Das Gyros haben wir kalt mitgenommen und haben 2 Nachspeisen zu den 63,10€ dazu bekommen Keine Gäste Die wissen warum

Leider der schlechteste Grieche bei dem ich jemals war. Die Vorspeise ging ja noch, aber die Hauptspeise war totaler Reinfall. Nach 1 Stunde warten, obwohl das Lokal nicht voll war kam das Essen. Hatte gebackene Calamari mit Kartoffeln und Remoulade.. Bekommen habe ich irgendwelche tot frittierten Calamari, die so knusprig waren wie Chips. Die Kartoffeln waren auch frittiert, außen, knusprig und innen total matschig, komplett ungesalzen. Und statt der Remoulade gab’s einfach Zaziki. Ich finde sowas geht gar nicht, leider alles gar nicht lecker. Dann beim Nachtisch bestellen, kam er 10 Minuten später an und meinte beide Nachttische nicht verfügbar. Alles im Ganzen eine totale Katastrophe. Einfach nur schade.

Ich komme aus Mittelfranken und war nun schon öfter in diesem Restaurant,,ich liebe die Atmosphäre,das Essen und den Chef,,sehr familiär und wahnsinnig freundlich..so..nun der Grund,warum beim Service und Ambiente einen Stern Abzug. War heute wieder zu Besuch,,hab meiner Freundin einen Antrag gemacht da ich diese Restaurant wie schon erwähnt liebe. Nur heute war der Chef nicht da und das merkte man sofort!! Der junge Herr war zwar freundlich aber nicht der schnellste, saß selbst hinter der Theke und aß,kein ouzo keine vom Chef gewohnte familiäre Atmosphäre!!! Beim zahlen war der junge Herr verschwunden..musste nach vorne zum zahlen was an und für sich kein Problem ist aber auch da war der junge Herr nicht da. Schade,,da ich dieses Restaurant für meinen besonderen Moment für den Heiratsantrag ausgesucht hatte. Trotzdem volle Empfehlung für alle,die gerne griechisch Essen!! Essen ist einfach top und sehr lecker!!

Hat leider stark nachgelassen, statt Gyros wurde Pfannengeschnetzeltes serviert. Trotz fast leerem Lokal lange Wartezeit, kein Vergleich mehr mit der gewohnten Qualität und dem gewohnten Service.

In diesem Restaurant fand die Silvesterfeier 2025 statt. Ich hatte das Vergnügen, dort mit Freunden das neue Jahr 2026 zu begrüßen. Die Party war fantastisch, der DJ exzellent, das Essen köstlich und der Service sehr freundlich. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich war dort an Silvester. Super Stimmung, leckeres Essen. Die Portionen waren allerdings ungenießbar. Ich kann es trotzdem nur empfehlen 👍

Wir haben dort wunderbar gegessen. Gyros, Calamari und Salate waren hervorragend zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend, und die Atmosphäre und Einrichtung sind warm und einladend. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein rundum gelungener Besuch! Sehr freundlicher Service, unglaublich zartes Fleisch und ein Nachtisch, der einfach traumhaft war. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder.

Das Essen war lecker, der Service nett. Zum Schluss bot der Kellner uns einen Ouzo an, wir meinten könnten wir stattdessen einen Espresso haben? Der war dann aber auf der Rechnung. Insgesamt waren wir aber zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Das beste griechische Restaurant, was es gibt!

Muss leider meine fantastische Bewertung von vor zwei Jahren revidieren: Essen immer noch super - ABER Gastraum extrem kalt (sämtliche Heizkörper blieben - trotz Aufdrehen - bei einer Außentemperatur von 5 Grad eiskalt) 🥶. Service ebenfalls beklagenswert.🙄 Schade - war mal eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants.

Unser erster Besuch während des Umzugs zu später Stunde. Zufällig hier gelandet und ein Volltreffer. Leckeres Essen in ordentlichen Portionen . Zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Also, ich war dort noch nie, ich habe nur etwas per Lieferando bestellt. Es hiess, Lieferung in max. 65 Min., dann warens 94 Min.. Das bisschen Fleisch war grad noch halbwegs lauwarm, die Ofenkartoffeln lagen direkt im viel zu süssen Salat... Danke, aber nie wieder! Update: der Chef von dem Laden hat mich angerufen und mir ein kostenloses Essen angeboten als Entschädigung, der Fahrer hätte einen Unfall gehabt... aber keiner hat mir Bescheid gesagt. Dann kam die Entschädigungslieferung. Hat auch wieder 45 Minuten gedauert, obwohl das Lokal grad mal 2,5 km entfernt ist. Konkurrenten in der Nähe schaffen das in unter 30 Minuten. Und dann war das Essen auch wieder kaum mehr lauwarm, aber die Fleischpflanzerl waren Schwarz. Normalerweise mag ichs ja schon gut angebraten... aber was zuviel ist, ist zuviel! Und dass der Chef dann mitten im Telefongespräch, als er nachgefragt hatte, wie das Essen war, einfach aufgelegt hat, ist ein NO GO!

I reserved a table for five people for a birthday party through Google. Unfortunately, despite the confirmation, the reservation wasn't available. However, the situation was addressed very quickly, and we were given a nice table. The service was very good, friendly, and accommodating. Special requests were well received and implemented. The appetizers arrived quickly and were exceptional. We ordered a large cold appetizer platter for starters, along with homemade chips and calamari. Everything was excellent, extremely tasty, and in large quantities. There was enough time between the starter and main course to leisurely browse the wine list and order from it. The main courses were very, very good. We had gyros, calamari, shrimp, and a mixed platter. Everything was fresh, hot, and excellent. When we finished eating, the lights suddenly went out. Music started playing, and the waiter came to the table with a cake platter filled with various Greek cakes and ice cream. We weren't expecting that. It was truly the highlight of the evening. The cakes were still warm and delicious, the ice cream sooo good. To finish off, we had the obligatory ouzo. All in all, a wonderful evening. Thank you so much 🥰

We tried the salad, invok calamari, and shrimp casserole, all of which were excellent. For wine, we tried Atlantis at Sartoni Palace.

For French tourists the restaurant is excellent and well stocked. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was very good. The waiter was friendly and witty. The only downside: the Prosecco was like water. Otherwise, everything was fine. Plus, they gave us a delicious dessert for free. Thank you very much.

Update: Ownership has changed. The food was okay. The dessert advertised as free for the kids was then added to the bill. Overall, the bill was confusing. We really enjoyed the food, but it took over 45 minutes for our child to get our food, and then we even later. We were able to place our drink orders after about 20 minutes. This is only because there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He was very friendly, but he really had to run from table to table, and it was very busy, even during the week. There was someone lighting the candles on the tables, but he said you should ask the waiter if you have any questions or want to order. We will come back because the food was good.

Taverna Kypros is a true slice of Greece in Munich. The food is fresh, aromatic, and beautifully presented, and the staff is incredibly hospitable and smiling. Fair prices and a pleasant atmosphere. A perfect place for a family dinner or an evening with friends. I highly recommend it ☺️👌👍

Super nice host! I would recommend eating here to everyone. You feel like you're at home. Very welcoming. The portions could have been a bit larger (I had gyros with calamari), but otherwise, it's great!

We arrived very late and usually expect a limited menu at this time of day – but that wasn't the case at all. A full selection of all dishes, plus a specially created fish platter 👍 Super friendly chef, totally accommodating and really on the ball. He even noticed (wife wants fish and vegetables, husband wants meat – can't decide…) and spoke to us very nicely and made a suggestion. Great – truly perfect! We had the 141 mixed meat platter and a mixed fish platter with fresh, crunchy vegetables. Everything tasted very good. One small criticism of the fish platter (whining at a high level): I would have liked some carrots and a few pieces of potatoes with the mixed vegetables (peppers and zucchini), that's just typical German… sorry, with tzatziki on top, it would have been perfect. But the look, taste, price – everything was top-notch. The portions were also great… the salad that accompanied it was also fresh, crunchy, and had a bit of everything – very appealing. We'll be back - thank you for the friendly service and the cute little garden behind the restaurant - simply beautiful - a place to feel at home.

Imagine you've been looking forward to a Greek feast for weeks. You dream of tender gyros, fluffy pita, and that tzatziki that's so delicious you'd voluntarily take a two-day break from social life. Well... and then this restaurant comes along.

We wouldn't have been full even if the food had been edible. Even the rice tasted awful. We waited over an hour for the food and 40 minutes to pay. It wasn't busy, which made it even more surprising. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. We wonder where the good reviews come from.

I come to Munich twice a year specifically to enjoy the food and atmosphere at the Taverna. The food is always very varied, and the chef and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoy sitting in the garden when the weather is nice.

We ate at Taverna Kypris and overall we were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The meat was a little tough, but there was plenty of it and the selection was really large. The prices are pretty low for the amount of meat and overall very fair. Only the portion of lamb for €29 was a bit small, but tasted excellent. As a nice gesture, we received a “Napoleon” as a gift at the end. The service was excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. We'd love to come back!

I had the great pleasure of experiencing a piece of Greece at this restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Greek cuisine. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you are on holiday: the warm atmosphere, the tasteful furnishings with a Mediterranean flair and the traditional Greek music immediately put you in the holiday mood. The staff was exceptionally warm and attentive. The hosts welcomed us with a smile and made sure we felt completely at home. Every question about the dishes was answered with joy and competence, and you can immediately tell that the work here is done with passion. The dishes were an absolute highlight. From the classic starters like tzatziki, dolmadakia and freshly baked pita bread to the main courses like moussaka, souvlaki and fresh fish, everything was perfectly prepared. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The selection of Greek wines, which went perfectly with the food, was particularly impressive. Another highlight was the dessert – the homemade baklava was to die for, accompanied by a strong, aromatic Greek coffee. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality and the experience. Good Greek food. The map is a little smaller than we are used to from the Greeks, but we both found something without any problems. Starter salad was fresh and tasty and gyros on point - not dry - so very good. The furnishings seemed a bit careless. Window sills and dried flowers were dusty, benches were crooked, place mats were not properly aligned but were "slapped down". There was simply a lack of attention to detail here, so only 4☆
