In my opinion, this is the best restaurant I've visited and eaten at in Germany so far. Everything is fresh, and the service is always very friendly and fast, especially the nice waiter Ali.

This restaurant is a must for anyone who enjoys Indian food. The interior design is impressive from the moment you walk in. The menu is extensive and includes not only classic dishes but also some unusual fusion creations. The prices are very reasonable. The service was also excellent. We'll definitely be back!

We received a very warm welcome and experienced exceptionally attentive service. The appetizer, pakora, was absolutely delicious. The main courses were also excellent. Special requests were no problem at all – they prepared exactly what we wanted. There was a wide selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes. Overall, a highly recommended Indian restaurant; we will definitely be back.

I went here to have dinner recently and had to wait almost an hour for my food. The servers ignored me even when they were passing by as I wanted to ask about the delay. Terrible service and im extremely disappointed.

Delicious, authentic and familiar tasting food. We got the butter chicken, basmati rice, garlic naan and samosas.

Unfortunately, my chicken was unseasoned, two pieces had cartilage, it was very loud, and the service seemed bored.

We visited Sangam for the first time today and had a wonderful evening. Our meal (two orders of number 101) was delicious. We also ordered naan bread as a side dish, which was equally tasty. The service was attentive, and we felt completely at ease. Thank you!

The Indian restaurant Sangam in Nuremberg, located just outside the train station towards Königstraße, offers a variety of Indian dishes. The food is very good. It's served with rice and your chosen main course. Ordering a lunch menu is more economical. Of course, the lunch menu selection isn't as extensive as the regular menu. With the set menu, you can also choose between salad or soup. Weather permitting, you can sit either inside or outside. The restaurant is very cozy, and the service is friendly and efficient.

The staff is understanding of special requests (lighting and music). The ambiance is wonderful and mysterious, with peacock lamps on the wall. The portions are large. Unless you have a huge appetite, you'll definitely want to get some food to go. The food is delicious and exotic.

Excellent value for money. They were very accommodating to dietary requests, which is great for those with a gluten intolerance. However, it was very crowded and consequently quite noisy. The food was also top-notch; there's something for everyone. They even cater to those who have never tried Indian food before (e.g., burgers and fries). The service seemed very stressed, and unfortunately, this affected the other guests. We'd appreciate a bit more friendliness next time. We'll be back! 😍

I had number 95 (Rogan Josh lamb) and after 30 minutes I started showing signs of food poisoning. The entire following night was a disaster. Otherwise, everything was fine.

The food was great, a bit overpriced for my standards. A €1-2 discount would have been nice, of course. 1 espresso was overlooked twice in the order; it can happen, but there's room for improvement. The restaurant, near the main train station and many hotels, was almost full in the evening, but there was no wait for a table. A bit noisy, but it was a pleasant experience.

I ordered Kadhai Chicken here, but it was a very disappointing experience. Before placing my order, I specifically asked the waiter to recommend a proper Indian-style curry, not a European adaptation. He suggested the Kadhai Chicken, and I also reminded him not to add too much cream, since I know many Indian restaurants in Europe tend to do that. Unfortunately, what I received was full of cream and looked more like a butter chicken than a Kadhai Chicken. It seems they don’t really know what authentic Kadhai Chicken is. I can understand adjusting spice levels for European tastes, but changing the entire flavour and cooking style is not authentic Indian food. As someone from India, I was genuinely hoping for a proper, traditional curry. In the UK, Indian restaurants manage to serve food close to the real thing sometimes even better so it’s definitely possible. My point is simple: if the dish is heavily adapted, it should be called “European style Kadhai Chicken,” not presented as authentic Indian food. Roti, naan, paratha, and dal tasted fine, but the curries were disappointing. It feels like customers here are not experiencing real Indian food, which is a shame. Very very disappointed with food. I don't even know where to begin. Sangam is simply a dream. Every time I eat here, I feel like I'm in heaven. The food is incredibly delicious – fresh, aromatic, and made with so much love that you'd love to come here every day. Curry, tender meat, or vegetarian dishes, everything tastes on a whole new level, cooked by hands with years of experience. Not only the food, but also the service is a highlight. The staff are so warm and attentive that you immediately feel at home. You can tell that hospitality is truly lived here. For me, this is clearly the best Indian restaurant in Bavaria. And the new royal ambiance after the recent renovation is simply amazing.

Nice decor, Ok portions, big selection…that’s about it. Waiter wasn’t very helpful. Asked for suggestions and he recommended the appetizer (Tandoori Vorspeisenteller - Tandoori Mix Platter) and main dish (Masala Hahnchen - Chicken Masala). Both are chicken plates with Masala sauce. Strange he recommended pretty much the same thing, but I took his recommendation. Tandoori Mix platter had VERY dry chicken. Informed the waiter TWICE, and he said that it’s grilled so it’s dry. I gave back the dish with 90% of the chicken untouched. Grilled doesn’t mean it should be dry! Main dish was ok, but the sauce was sweeter than normal Masala I’ve had. Received the bill and they still charged for the appetizer. Very disappointing! My favourite Indian restaurant in Nurnberg is still ‘Namaste Indisches Restaurant’. Trust me, it’s way better!

We had dinner on the 19th June and when eating a RAT ran through the Resturant. We asked the waiter and he said that customers didn’t like it !!!!!! Avoid at all costs.

The food is good, no doubt. But it's an unpleasant surprise at the end when it turns out that prices for the same food are much higher "because it's Sunday". It's not mentioned on the menu or by the staff, so no desire to return

First time at an Indian restaurant and it was excellent.

A very nice restaurant, reminiscent of the old Victorian era when Great Britain had a strong presence in India. The decor is dated but high quality and the atmosphere comfortable. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. We enjoyed the food and drinks and found them authentic. We had the chicken tikka and the chicken with mango curry. The meal was very plentiful; we had what we didn't finish packed up and ate it today. The main courses are mid-priced. What cost around €12-16 before Corona is now €18-25, which is just how it is. We paid €19 and €21 for our dishes, respectively, but we got plenty of good food.

We sat outside and unfortunately were rarely visited by the waiter, and didn't really get a chance to order anything. The service was okay, if a bit reserved. The food tasted too European to me, less like the authentic Indian cuisine I was familiar with. I rate the soup as particularly bad. It's a tomato soup with an unbelievable amount of cream, so you can't taste the tomatoes at all, and Indian spices were completely missing. There were no housewarming gifts, as is common with many Indian restaurants - for example, papadum with chutneys for the entrée. For the prices quoted, I would have expected better service and quality overall. There was no bill at the end.

Very disappointing experience - poor hygiene I had dinner at this Indian restaurant with two friends. At first the food seemed good - it looked fresh and was very hot, as you could tell by the bubbling on the plate. But when I looked more closely at my dish, I was horrified to discover a live mealworm on the plate. Such a find is absolutely unacceptable and raises big questions about hygiene in the kitchen. We pointed this out to the staff, but the reaction was reserved and not very professional. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Pleasant Indian atmosphere with friendly and fast service. The food came very quickly. The chutneys with the papadums seemed like simple ready-made products. The main course was tasty, but offered little variety of Indian flavors. The yogurt dip in the thali was more reminiscent of tzatziki. Overall, it's more of a Germanized interpretation of Indian cuisine.
