From our point of view, excellent food, attentive and friendly service. You can accept that it will take a little longer if the restaurant is busy.

Solid food, but service with room for improvement The Sangam Indian Restaurant makes a chic visual impression - stylish furnishings and a pleasant ambience for a relaxed evening. What is positive is the quick order processing. As soon as you sat down, you were served in a friendly manner and the food came quickly. However, I found a certain charm missing in the service. A small gesture like a “have a nice day” or a personal farewell would have significantly improved the overall impression. The taste of the food was okay, but not outstanding. It was tasty, but I was missing that certain something extra that would make me come back immediately. Overall, a solid visit, but not necessarily a reason to become a repeat visitor. If you appreciate fast service and a nice ambience, you can try it out - but you shouldn't have high expectations of the service. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐

Service is really poor. The waiters keep people waiting for too long and argue that they are busy. Food was just about average

Came back second time because of the good experience we had in 2024. Most people waiting tables are good, but some new people added to the service are very disappointing. Specific red flags 1. Impolite, Arrogant, air of Attitude 2. Lack of respect for customer. Refered to us as "Yaar" 3. Arguing to defend lack of communication while serving. Didn't expect this.

Very tasty Indian food in a very nice atmosphere. Be sure to reserve on weekends, otherwise there are usually no tables available.

Food is authentic Indian food. But a little pricy.

Unprofessional service, very disrespectful and disturbing "Waiters" while making unnecessary commentary that was not asked nor wanted. If we wanted a comedian we would have gone to a comedy show. We wanted food and that is the only thing we expect to be served. The food was fine, not a lot of things a person can say to it. Would appreciate that this type of behaviour is kept with professionalism. And delt adequately.

It was a great experience. Service was outstanding. The drinks and food were brought in no time! The owner was very attentive! We had chicken tandoori and lamb. It was really delicious. Highly recommended!

Consistently good quality, naan bread is really great. Lunch menu very inexpensive.

Delicious food, friendly, quick service - we'll be back

I have been a regular guest at Sangam for years. There is a large selection of always delicious food that has never disappointed. South Indian dishes have also recently been introduced. It was great to eat dosas again for a long time. The masala chai is also a must - super tasty. The staff is always very friendly too.

Food was ok, not exceptional. Extremely expensive though for what you got. Quality and portions do not match the price.

Nice restaurant- we tried both North and South Indian, both were fresh and tasty. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the takeout packaging was very poor, the curry had leaked out of the box.

Absolutely authentic Indian restaurant. We had pani puri as a starter and veg as the main course. Thali and veg. Tandoori. The crowning finale was a chai with milk. The food was really extremely tasty. The staff polite and friendly. The only point of criticism I could make (but not of value!): The dishes were all a bit too "flaky" for me personally. Here I missed the Indian “spiciness” a little. But the taste is absolutely great.

It's always a pleasure to eat there. Despite the pre-Christmas period, we got a table without a reservation and were really happy with everything.

It's the best Masala dosa I've had after Kerala, I'm sure the other dishes are also delicious, it's a true South Indian restaurant. I definitely recommend it, the atmosphere is great, it is a very decent and clean place, the waiters are very successful, they also offered dessert at the end, thank you very much.

We usually arrive at around 6 p.m. and always get a seat. The condition immediately brings the menu and accepts the drink requests. The menu makes a good impression and is divided into the usual categories of Indian restaurants. Vegetarian dishes are also offered. Levels of spiciness are noted. Breast is used for dishes with chicken, which unfortunately often tastes dry and fibrous. The sauces are spicy and have an intense color. The rice is ok but a bit bland. Some spice scent would be appropriate. The price level is slightly high for an Indian restaurant.

Absolutely amazing, there's actually dosa here! My husband had a vegetarian Tali and that was also really good. But I will only eat dosa 😅please keep it up! What I didn't like was the price for a small bottle of Spezi €5.10. Otherwise absolutely recommended.

Highly recommended, food (Amritsu fish tikka and pistachio ice cream) was very tasty, staff very attentive and accommodating. Restaurant overall very clean.

The waitress cannot explain the food to you. Said the dishes had only been on the program for 2 days. Food no longer comes in a warmer, but on a wooden board and therefore quickly got cold. There was also something missing from my meal that was specifically mentioned on the menu. Daughter had chicken korma. The sauce was like baby food and had no taste whatsoever. No more papadum with dips before meals. Has nothing to do with the Sangam that I knew anymore. Very unfortunate. Seems there's a new boss. At least it gives a strong impression.

We had not made a reservation and came on a Saturday evening in December to have dinner here as a couple. The restaurant was full except for a table for 6 people. Coincidentally, another couple of two came in at the same time as us. It's great that we were able to successfully share the table with them. Really nice thoughts from the staff. And the food? Very tasty! Really enjoyed this evening. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Authentic Indian restaurant. Delicious dishes and lots of choice. Staff is not very friendly, but the food is fine. Reservations are recommended, but if you don't mind waiting, you can also wait for a table that becomes available.

Located near the train station, we would be lucky to get a table on the weekend without a reservation. The service was friendly, attentive and quick (thanks Umar!). In my opinion, the food is some of the best Indian cuisine I have found in Germany so far. We can particularly recommend our two dishes and the starter: Paneer Chili as a starter and Chicken Korma and Sangam plate as main courses. Sensational!

Be sure to reserve in advance for dinner on Saturday. It worked great for us. Nice service, huge selection, very tasty! We had lamb vindaloo, chicken korma, pakora and salad as starters.

Went in on Friday evening without a reservation (the restaurant was packed!) and Ali kindly gave us a table. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. Was so happy that we got a table - food hit the spot on a cold, rainy December night.

Excellent service even when it's really busy. Dishes can be ordered with an individual level of spiciness. My favorites: Vindaloo Lamp (spicy), Palak Paneer (vegetarian) and unbeatable in terms of price/performance ratio: Tandoori starter plate (No. 25). Favorite waiter: Ali Ali, the man is a force. Invisible and always there when you need something. If you like Indian cuisine with really good service: definitely give it a try. 100% recommendation!

Restaurant is just 5 mins walking to HBF and serves delicious indian food, special mention for Paneer lababdar and Chicken kadhai.. highly recommended..

I have ordered non veg thalli. Chicken curry served disappointed me. Chicken is hard, dry and tasteless. Felt like just mixed boiled chicken in the gravy. Same with the mutton curry too. Service did was not warm. Felt like left out for long time.

It is beautiful and worth trying, but the only problem is the price is high for the small amount of food. On the other hand, the smell of food and cooking lingers on the clothes for a long time.

Wonderful staff and chef. Food was warm and delicious. Service was good even though the restaurant was jam packed. Ample seating space, however it will get very busy in weekend evenings so reservations are required.

I went to Sangam for dinner today. It was simply delicious and a wonderful evening. I enjoyed it very much. I was particularly pleased with the friendly and courteous service. It's near nuremberg main station walkable distance. In the evening it will be very busy but you will still find a place to sit. The food is good, I ordered chicken lollypop, but the taste was not good. We ordered vegetarian thali, and the taste was good. Overall, good food, if someone says indian style, they need to make sure that they do not add more chili, but it was be tasty.

Super delicious Indian restaurant with a large selection of dishes. The atmosphere on site is very pleasant and very relaxed despite the size of the restaurant. Absolutely fair price-performance ratio and great service. The waiters are constantly present and always ask whether something is needed or whether everything is to our satisfaction. So totally recommended :)

The food tastes like German food. I could hardly taste any masala in my dish. It's a tourist trap kind of place with waiters not happy to be there.

Service and Atmosphere excellent. Above average friendly service (I’m from Berlin, maybe that’s why). JalfreZi sauce really nice but the chicken wasn’t to my liking.

The food was bland. We ordered chilli chicken, chicken was super dry. The curries we ordered were not spicy enough. Overall, I didn’t like the food. There are better options out there nearby.

The best Indian restaurant in Nuremberg for years. I'm here a lot and I love it. The waiters are all really nice and often make little jokes. As always, the food is delicious, so everything is just great. If you order for home delivery, a portion is a little more like in a restaurant ;)

Food was good and you get a lot for your money. Luckily, even without a reservation, we got a table that day.

We booked this restaurant as a last minute Option staying overnight in the area and we weren’t disappointed the food was lovely. The staff friendly I would definitely recommend it.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had to wait about an hour for the food, which unfortunately only arrived lukewarm, but tasted good. We spilled a drink and the top tablecloths were replaced, which revealed the greasy "main tablecloth" that needed to be washed.

There are also South Indian dishes. That's why we would eat there again at any time.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. But I had a pebble in my salad. Thank God the teeth held. And I can only recommend everyone not to take a starter because I had to wait 45 minutes for the main course to arrive.

The food was very tasty! We were thrilled! There is a large selection of dishes. The restaurant is centrally located, near the train station.

Unfortunately the main course only came about an hour after the starter. We asked about our main course and were told that if you had a starter, the main course would be pushed back so that guests without a starter could get their food quicker. I know service differently. There was also no question about new drinks. The food tasted average.

They were ready to caterer to my every need and were very kind. When busy it takes a while for the food to be made but it is a nice spot to eat and talk with a family.
