We ate there with our daughter today. Unfortunately, our daughter was brought food that we hadn't ordered. We returned it. After she had received her food and we had finished eating, a waiter came and asked if we wanted anything else. I said that my husband wasn't at his table at the moment but that he would probably like a coffee. A minute later, my husband came and the waiter wanted to bill us immediately so we could free up the table. I find that really strange. The table was cleared immediately after the meal, and we were supposed to pay straight away, even though we would have liked to have had something else to drink. Then we were told that the initially incorrectly brought food couldn't be removed from the system, and a few other items on the bill were edited/deleted. The bottom line... we even ended up paying more. And it somehow felt like we weren't welcome there, and we probably won't go there again, even though the food was really good.

What a great place for Indian food in Nuremberg. Everything was sooo flavorful and delicious. They also serve the dishes with tea lights under them to keep them warm and that was great. Please do give them a visit.

Friendly, attentive staff, food stays hot until the end, and drinks stay cold. It's not every day that the food sizzles when it arrives. In summary: everyone was full and had a delicious meal. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

Solid North Indian food by German standards.

The masala lassi was delicious and the servers were friendly, which I appreciated. However, I found the rest of the food disappointing for the price - the flavours didn’t meet my expectations. Also, during my visit, someone who seemed to be the owner was talking loudly with some guests table, which felt unprofessional and distracting in the dining area for the customers. Edit: The restaurant tried to remove my review at least 4 times since I have posted. So I am attaching a receipt of my visit for reference.

Anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere and with friendly staff in a city center location will find this a great place. The value for money is definitely reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic. We sat outside here, and the street is very quiet, and the outdoor seating area is beautifully secluded by the plants. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the service was very fast. We both had a very extensive vegetarian menu with a variety of dishes. My palate is still completely enchanted.

The food tasted good but for just under 20 euros you get a curry with 4-5 pieces of meat, which is simply not enough.

We ordered the prawns as an appetizer, which were excellent. The biryani was good, though the lamb and chicken were a bit chewy. The chicken korma, however, was very flavorful and well-prepared. That said, a few things could be improved. The cutlery was quite worn and scratched — it might be time to replace them. Additionally, one of the servers was wearing a black shirt that had noticeable white stains under the arms, likely from sweat, which gave an unprofessional impression. Attention to these small details would really elevate the overall dining experience.

Everything was excellent, 15 people were served quickly and friendly. The reservation system is easy.

We visited this restaurant while visiting Christmas Market in 2024. Positives: the service was very good, the waiter was kind and helpful. The ambience was ok. Negatives: the food was bad. The chicken tasted sour, rice was undercooked. Overall, we could not finish even 25% of the food combo we ordered. The waiter asked to provide us free drinks or desert as compensation but we did not avail it as we were late for our trains.

We dropped in spontaneously, and the really friendly staff managed to get us a table. We recommend reserving a table. You can even do this online on the website. The food arrived quickly, and there's a selection of seasonal dishes. There's also a selection of lassi variations, such as strawberry lassi. The classic mango lassi is very impressive. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are very tasty and, in keeping with the menu, not too spicy, and very nicely presented.

I ate here on a Tuesday. I found the food itself to be very tasty, and the portions were also generous. The service was friendly and fast. The only minor drawback is the outdoor area. Inside, Ganesha is lovingly decorated. Of course, it's impossible to mirror that on the outside, but it's still a bit of a shame :)

Food flavours are normal. Nothing extra ordinary

If you really want to eat something special, you shouldn't be afraid to go to Nuremberg. Should enjoy this Indian cuisine. I ate here for the first time 4 years ago and dreamed of this wonderful food - why, because it is good here. I've eaten Indian food many times and it was never as good as here. I don't want to badmouth the other restaurateurs

I also enjoy going here with the family. Delicious food and good atmosphere. The only small drawback: the tables are a bit small and it can get tight for a moment, but otherwise the shop is highly recommended

Dinner as a family left us all full and satisfied (with an 11 year old and a vegan daughter). The portions are just right and beautifully prepared, we were served and advised very nicely. It was too stuffy for us inside from the smell of incense sticks but that's a matter of taste and luckily the weather was good enough to eat outside :) The lentil soup as a starter is completely different than expected and that's exactly why it's wonderfully tasty, highly recommended!

Indian restaurant next to the market square in the city center. We went without reservation on a Satudary and had no problem to get a table. Service super friendly. We took the chicken tikka and lamb tikka masala. Food was OK but we found it a little bit boring, also meat quality could have been better.

Unprofessional and unacceptable On December 12th, 2022 we were at the Ganesha restaurant in Nuremberg. The lamb korma was way too sweet and not authentic. My wife, who is from India, pointed this out to the waiter, who then lectured us in a rude, forceful tone that the dish “must taste like this”. After my wife's honest two-star review, which she wrote on Google shortly after our visit, the restaurant has already tried to have it deleted twice. The first time 2 years ago in January 2023, now again after more than two years. The restaurant initially claimed that the review could not be assigned. We then sent Google the relevant evidence (bank statement of the card payment at the restaurant - I paid the bill - the original review was written by my wife). We have now received another email from Google that the review should be deleted at the restaurant's request. Such unprofessional behavior is hard to beat. It goes without saying that customer criticism should be treated respectfully.

It wasn't bad, but I wasn't particularly impressed by the food either. The butter chicken tasted like pure tomato sauce and the Indian flavor was completely missing. Unfortunately, the Garlic Naam was relatively tasteless. The food was relatively expensive... However, the service and the ambience are very good.

Some of the food was good. My chicken was spicy and delicious. The shrimp or the sauce was so low in salt and there were no salt shakers on the table that there was no question of taste. My food was stuck to the table and the stem of my wine glass was also sticky. We probably won't come again. Too bad

Chicken in the tandoori was stale and old. Food got me sick. Also the food had no flavour at all. Worst of all though is the service. The waiter was very rude, offensive and unprofessional. He constantly kept asking why 2 of the people in our group looked indian but didn't speak Hindi. He kept ignoring them and pretended like they didn't exist. At one point he speaks to one of them in Hindi, their responses in German not being good for him and claims that they have to learn Hindi. He crossed the line and that was very disrespectful. Please train your staff better and be more aware of such behaviour from them.
