Indian restaurant at the entrance to Mitte, well frequented, very pleasant dinner.

We were very positively surprised about our visit to Lebar. A beautiful atmosphere, the service was very courteous and attentive, the food and cocktails were delicious and definitely worth a second visit. Many thanks to the Lebar team👍

We found this restaurant had a high review on Google map and decided to go for lunch. The staff who served us was nice and attentive. The food was also tasty. They have lots of different dishes on the menu. Lots of variety. I’m sure anyone can find something they enjoy.

Prices are overpriced and do not match the menu available on Google. Punjabi dish was way too spicy. I was not informed of this before ordering, which is usually the case. Staff is so friendly.

5 stars for really good food. Service was a little chaotic for us. We've just eaten a bit of our starter when the waitress stands at the table with the main course and says, oh, there's more food!!! Since it felt like the starter only came to the table 5 minutes ago. But what's the point, everyone has a bad day sometimes. Nevertheless, the food was really tasty, and that's the most important thing!!!!!

Very tasty food and very nice staff!

I went to restaurant on 16 June 2024 at approximately 19.38. I ordered a meal and glass of wine. There seemed to be a mix up in communication as I was brought a bottle of wine instead of a glass. I raised this with the server who then proceeded to argue with me and insist that they knew what I wanted more than me. It could have easily been resolved by acknowledging I only wanted a glass of wine - and not a whole bottle - and adjusting the order accordingly. But despite me raising with another member of staff, the original server continued arguing. So given this was the level of service before even starting the meal, I promptly left, indicating I would be doing so to the server as a last attempt to gain a satisfactory resolution. Unfortunately this did not happen and my review reflects the level of service on this single occasion. To me, this is one occasion too many and I hope my feedback can help the restaurant to ensure it can maintain higher levels in future.

Update: I originally rated it 2 stars, but they reported my review to get it removed without any valid reason. It is quite disappointing that instead of acknowledging the feedback and making improvements, they attempted to remove my honest review. -- Here is the original review: The waiters were not very knowledgeable about the dishes. We asked for a Kindersitz, gave us a dirty chair. Asked for a bowl, didn't have a bowl. In a restaurant. Service needs to be better!

Great food, good portions, nice service, everything was great

After a friendly greeting in the restaurant, we were shown a table and were quickly served. The atmosphere is great and the shop is beautifully decorated, but what we first noticed was that we had several conditions for our table, who often asked whether we already knew what we wanted and didn't give us much time. After we ordered our drinks, we quickly realized that there was lipstick on one of the drinks and one drink contained a lot of ice. When we told them about our conditions with the lipstick, we quickly received a new glass, which was just as full to a millimeter that we had already taken one or two sips of before we noticed the lipstick. Our conditions seemed extremely nice and helpful but they didn't know everything on the menu and we then had to show the dishes on the menu by hand. Another waitress also gave us a dirty look, and another point was that two waitresses were discussing something in the middle of the shop which, in our opinion, could also be clarified in the back rooms. The food came quickly and was good but not outstanding because the distribution wasn't particularly advantageous either, like too much meat and not enough rice in one dish or pieces of vegetables that were too large and not fully cooked in the other two. Finally, we ordered sweet potato fries and since it wasn't noted on the menu that they come with dip, we ordered one extra, which we wouldn't do if that was on the menu. The restaurant definitely has potential but can still be worked on.

Last minute change of plans is how we ended up here. Awesome location In the old city of Nürnberg this modern Indian Urban food restaurant offers excellent service, and large menu, great portions and phenomenal food. We ate on the terrace and enjoyed the lovely city going on around us. If you like Indian cuisine this is a must visit restaurant.

We had dinner there yesterday and it was great. Apart from the fact that the food was delicious, the girl who served us was super nice.

This is my absolute favorite Indian!! The best butter chicken I've ever eaten and the best coconut kiss I've ever drunk. Service was sooo great, I love it!!

Service was great, food was alright. I ordered a Tikka masala and it was sadly not at all spicy. The foods labeled as spicy are not spicy. Besides that, it was really delicious.

Nothing to complain about! Great food, mega portions (at least the chicken tikka masala), delicious drinks (gin sour) and very friendly staff. I go to Nuremberg once a year for work and have now eaten there for the third time.

The staff is super nice, we only had a few drinks that were good. Our dog was even offered water straight away (by 2 waitresses:D). We felt comfortable and the ambience and location were great!

Been to Le Bar a few times and the food has always been delicious. Yesterday, Saturday evening, we had a reservation. After we had already been seated, we asked if we could sit outside, but there was nothing left. That's why we chose a brighter spot by the window. But then we weren't even noticed anymore. We waited for about 30 minutes, but no service staff came to take our order. And this despite the fact that we were sitting relatively centrally in the restaurant and at some point we looked rather conspicuously in the direction of the employees. These were pretty busy and inaccessible, so we left. It's never happened to me anywhere before!

Here you can feel the dedication to detail. The food at LêBar is a gourmet's delight.

Highly recommended! A completely different world in terms of taste! There is a lot of “heart” in the facility. The staff was friendly at first, but towards the end we were sometimes ignored.

Excellent food so tasty and well presented. Staff were helpful and moved us inside when they thought it might rain. Everything was spot on and would deffo recommend to anyone who wanted an Indian meal. Didn’t taste greasy or fatty as you often find.

We love Indian food and have been craving a good Indian meal. The food was okay. It was better than what we get locally in Kaiserslautern. We had the butter chicken and the lamb vindaloo both okay. Not amazing. The naan bread and samosa was really good.

The food was good, but the rice was a bit lacking in salt. Service was nice. There is enough space, you don't necessarily have to make a reservation. The price was okay.

Amazing food but a little poor service

We were here on a busy Friday evening. Unfortunately, the service was once again subpar. We were forgotten several times, a plate was required for a dish, which was not brought even after repeated inquiries and trips to the bar. The food ended up being cold, and while one person was finishing eating they were still waiting for a plate that never came. There was no apology. The taste of the food was okay, the ambience was ok. For any price, but especially for this one, this is a no go.

Fantastic selection of Indian specialties. LêBar has won a place in my heart and palate.

Very tasty, friendly service, nice atmosphere.

A pleasant surprise for Indian food in the Old Town of Nuremberg. The tandoor dishes can be highly recommended. Sometimes the food was not spicy enough for Indian customers, but we remembered to request it the next time and then it was perfect. Cool and upbeat vibe with an industrial interior design. Older customers may not enjoy the music or vibe as much.

We have been to Le bar several times now and so far none of the Indian restaurants have been as great as Le bar in Nuremberg. A very nice atmosphere, well-kept outdoor area, very friendly and attentive service, the food and cocktails are world class and overall a very great atmosphere. The best Indian restaurant in Nuremberg and the surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit. For me personally, all in one a 10/10☺️ Greetings to the Le bar team👍

The shop has a nice ambience, which is unfortunately marred by the loveless outside area. The waitress was apparently not enthusiastic about the customers coming, with the corresponding motivation and niceness. Food was very little for the price (20€ for 3 pieces of bread and a cereal bowl full of sauce with a bit of beef). Don't come back

Very cozy restaurant. Food was some of the best Indian food we have ever had. Cocktails were also very tasty. Only the friendliness and attentiveness of the waitresses could surpass this. Clear recommendation, we would go there again and again.

Nice atmosphere, you always get a seat, the waitresses are very friendly and accommodating! The food is really delicious! Portions are absolutely sufficient! Price-performance ratio also fits! The toilets could be a little cleaner! Otherwise, all in all, a recommended restaurant!

I had been here twice last year and I had a good experience but this time, it wasn't great. The prices were too high for what was offered. But most importantly, how can an Indian Restaurant not have "Chai" in their Menu? I am sorry but that is bad.

Service is ok. Mango Lassi is only possible in a small glass. It's a shame. Food is ok. You could also write on the menu how spicy the dishes are. You also expect appropriate music in the Indian restaurant and not house music. But you should also make a reservation otherwise it will be difficult.

Cool, industrial interior and good food, nicely presented. For me, the sound level in the venue was far too loud for me to really enjoy the evening with friends. And why does a place with modern Indian food have a French name?! But it was certainly a great place to eat.

Hip shop that is really nicely decorated inside. If you want to celebrate here, reserve the “Garden”. The food was delicious, and came extremely quickly (so quickly that somehow it couldn't have been freshly made). In my curry there were just 2 pieces of potato and 3 pieces of cauliflower, so the price-performance level was rather poor for the rather steep prices. Unfortunately, it's also not properly marked that certain cocktails are excluded from happy hour - which was a bit disappointing. There are various restaurants that note this accordingly on the menu. All in all: tasty, but quite expensive in terms of price. We went for two meals, two cocktails and a bottle of water at €65...

It used to be better! You can tell that the service & quality of the food has decreased since the pandemic. Unfortunately, the prices have also risen extremely. Today we were the only ones in the restaurant at lunchtime, but one dish was forgotten and not noticed. The rice on the other plates was almost cold. Burgers too. Pro: The portions are very fair for the prices, everyone gets enough here! The ambience is also great. It's a shame, we always enjoyed eating here...

Food: tends to be average at “Mango Tango”. There were 8 of us there and there was room for improvement when there were 2-3 others, each with different dishes. Ambience good and service very friendly.

Stylish and fancy Indian restaurant. We were there around 6 p.m. and the food was there in less than 15 minutes. Very tasty and good portions. All in all good. Only the extremely high prices were noticed negatively. Hardly a main course costs less than €19, side dishes like bread cost another €5 and a cocktail during happy hour costs €8. Recently ate at a centrally located Indian restaurant in Munich and it was almost €8 cheaper. The service was still nice and friendly.

Due to the very good reviews, we had very high expectations, which unfortunately were not met. Unfortunately, the food had a spiciness that wasn't apparent on the menu. Therefore, our child unfortunately left the store full of rice.

Die Küche ist nicht klassisch und authentisch indisch, aber das ist sie in Deutschland ja sowieso fast nie. Es handelt sich um ein sehr modern-stylisches-urbanes Restaurant mit indisch inspirierter Küche im trendigen Gewand. Mir hat alles ganz gut geschmeckt, nicht vom Hocker gerissen und auch nichts zu meckern. Der Service war freundlich und flott. Kann man, muss man aber nicht hingehen.

Some of the things we ordered were ok. Others were downright bland. The service was not good. I wanted my lemonade without ice and the waiter refused to take that order. I wanted to know why they can't make it without ice, he refused to give any answer. The ambience is quite nice and their idea is also good but the execution is severely lacking. The LeBar is a little off the main walking paths, but is still easy to reach. The menu offers typical Indian dishes, with a few exceptions. For example, you don't get "Pani Puri" in every Indian restaurant, but you can at LeBar. The naan burger is also an interesting own creation. I tried Tandoori Chicken Tikka there which tasted very good. The portion is also generous. What was very negative, however, was the reaction to a special request. I had to argue with the waiter for minutes before I could order an extra portion of curry sauce to go with my dish. It’s better to take the principle “the customer is king” to heart. I was also happy to pay extra for it. But aimless discussions have no place here. I then got the additional curry sauce and it was delicious. Why not just like that?

Nice centrally located Indian restaurant. Luckily we got a table on Saturday evening without a reservation. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. All wishes were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The food was fresh and very tasty. Would love to come back.

That moment when you order chicken teriyaki for €19.80 and then get something like that - for the price it's bottomless. In my opinion, it's an over-seated system restaurant with poor price/performance. I can't recommend it. Waiters nice and quick, but visibly stressed.

The slightly different Indian restaurant. Super nice atmosphere in factory style, be sure to reserve, there is a lot going on even during the week. The service is very attentive, although we received our reserved table a little late, everything was cleaned beforehand and we were able to sit down at another table beforehand. The menu is diverse and shows a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Even burgers are offered, but everyone has to judge for themselves whether it fits into an Indian restaurant. Requests were also addressed immediately and served quickly. The result was a lovely evening, excellent food in a modern atmosphere.

Four of us went and everyone ordered almost the same thing, but still got confused. One of us wanted an appetizer, they thought that was his only meal. Cola was warm, without ice cubes, straw or lemon/similar. Once they lost a burger out of three when they ordered, then they didn't. When we were finally served, only one plate came for one of us and he didn't know how long he had to be polite and at some point he just started. Music was constantly so loud that not only could I not understand what my friends were saying, I couldn't even hear their voices. Tried to tell the staff that and ironically he couldn't hear what I said and then had to come closer. When he understood, the techno music didn't get any quieter. Possibly after 15 minutes but it could also be a coincidence. It definitely got louder the longer we were there. My finger has been on my ear for the last 20 minutes to protect my hearing. Then I couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to pay, which we had to do at the checkout. Apparently it was too complicated to pay separately and more staff had to be added. Now I've said three times what I actually wanted to pay (burger and coke, hard to remember, right?). The sooner I could get away, the better. Tip? No. Food was good, but also the only thing.

The most Authentic Indian restaurant I have ever visited in Germany. Very good food and Presentation. Loved the aesthetics of the restaurant too. Will surely recommend this to anyone who is interested in Indian food 💯.

Although Indian food is not my favorite, the visit was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the music was a bit too loud because the restaurant was very full, making it difficult to entertain. If you want to eat Indian food, this is the right place, unfortunately the drinks prices are on the high side.

We were there for the third time with 5 people. We all loved the food. Whether vegetarian or meat eater. Delicious. Keep it up! Unfortunately the waitress (older man) not really polite. Has no patience and rolls his eyes. His style definitely doesn't fit in at such a hip bar/restaurant. And if he is the managing director… he should leave the waitressing work to his employees. Sorry, but for politeness and advice-0* He must be able to assess which age and type of guests he can treat in such a derogatory way.

The food is good. The location is a bit noisy and some tables are not suitable for eating or sitting for long periods of time - but the name implies that. Big advantage: Open on Mondays. It's really difficult to find nice locations in Nuremberg that aren't closed.

Leider hat die Qualität nachgelassen und die Preise sind gleichzeitig enorm gestiegen.. 19€ für ein Hauptgericht ist leider zu viel.

Cozy place with super nice staff and delicious food! I left my wallet there and the owners came to my front door to hand me the wallet (including the contents) - I don't need to say anything more :)
