Unfortunately, no photos, but it was very good. We had medium-rare steak with sides. As appetizers, we had shrimp skewers with garlic bread and a mixed green salad with bacon and croutons. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the dressing on the green salad was fantastic. All in all, superb. The service was very friendly and efficient. We'd gladly come back. If you want to enjoy a superb meal, this is the place to go.

We've been to Ekuthek many times; everything there is simply delicious, from burgers and garlic bread to, of course, the steaks. The service is attentive and very friendly, and the price-performance ratio is excellent.

I ordered the most expensive filet steak for around €40, but wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked – something that should be standard practice in a steakhouse. Not everyone likes their steak medium-rare, and I'm no exception. The herb butter was also disappointing; it tasted more like sour cream than classic herb butter. On the positive side, the service was polite and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant – even though the tables were quite close together.

If this is supposed to be one of the best steakhouses in Franconia, I'd never want to step foot in the "worse" ones! You spend a relatively large amount of money, and when you point out that two of the three dishes aren't okay—partially cooked instead of medium or medium rare—you get a friendly shrug!

Since we enjoy good fillet steaks, we go to the Ekuthek. The restaurant is located outside of Nuremberg's city center and is very easy to reach by car and public transport. The service is excellent without being intrusive. Special requests are accommodated wherever possible. The food is very good in terms of quality and taste. We've been there several times now, and the steaks were cooked to perfection at all levels. That's top-notch. The ambiance is always a matter of taste. There are much more appealing steak restaurants, both in terms of the exterior (which isn't the restaurant's fault) and the interior. If you don't want to put yourself through the stress and want to drive into Nuremberg's city center, the Eluthek is a great place to eat and enjoy an excellent meal.

The service was first-class. The food was generally good. The garlic bread would have been even better if it had been crispy on both sides. The Angus skewer wasn't medium-rare, but it was still tasty. We'll be back.

Four of us went to this steakhouse yesterday afternoon. The restaurant was very empty at the time, with only two or three other tables occupied. A female server served us, and as soon as we started ordering, she immediately asked how we wanted to pay. This seemed extremely rude. It was our first visit to a steakhouse. We chose the type of steak and the degree of doneness we wanted, but didn't realize that you could also choose side dishes like garlic butter or peppercorn sauce. The server didn't mention this at all, which would have been very helpful, especially for first-time visitors. She also cleared our plates very quickly, leaving us no time to talk in peace or finish our meals. This made us feel unwelcome. Someone in our group speaks German and noticed that this server was significantly friendlier and more attentive than other guests who spoke only German. In comparison, her demeanor toward us was very cold and distant. When we paid, she even actively asked us for a tip. We declined because their behavior was noticeably discriminatory from start to finish. We didn't want to pay extra for such service. The meat was of very good quality, but the service was abysmal.

I spontaneously showed up there for dinner on Saturday evening with my wife and our little dog. Were received very nicely and warmly. Our steaks were so good that we will put them both on our top 5 in Germany. We will definitely come back as soon as we are in the area. It was extremely tender and perfectly fried. The herb butter rounded the whole thing off phenomenally. The time management from ordering to the first bite of the steak was super quick. Not a classic steakhouse inside and out. But definitely worth a visit for every meat lover. The price for this quality was great, and beats some steakhouses all over Germany, I would like to thank you for this experience and wish the team all the best for the future. Kind regards

Always a pleasure! I love eating there! When I asked for my fries to be weighed - since I have an illness and am pregnant - my request was honored immediately, which I really appreciate. The allergen menu is inadequate and obviously partially incorrectly labeled; when asked, it was clear that they actually had no knowledge of allergens. In this respect, it is not recommended for people with intolerances, which is a disgrace given the price sector. The meat was good to very good, the side dishes were average.

Very disappointed! We both ordered fillet steak with baked potatoes and a mixed salad with Italian dressing. Plus a pilsner and a glass of white wine. 1 steak medium and 1 steak medium until well done desired. 1x 150g and 1x 200g. The steaks were of poor quality, lukewarm and fibrous with no taste. Both were served medium rare contrary to our order. I've never had such a bad fillet steak in a steakhouse and it was lukewarm. The salad was a “joke”! Mostly canned corn and carrots drowned in dressing! We also complained about all of this to the (friendly) waiter. Answer from the waiter: Several guests have already complained about it. Problem is known. Apparently the supplier here delivered inferior meat. The boss would already be informed. But it wouldn't be back until next week. Apologized and brought us an espresso on the house. Price and performance are not possible with this miserable quality! Paid 91 euros for it! Wasted money! Prices are also completely excessive considering the (inferior) quality! 5.20 euros for a 0.4 l Pils etc. No more EKUTHEK! In this high price segment you can really expect or demand different quality! Ambiance: Had a nice table by the window in the winter garden below. View was not possible because the curtains were drawn. The curtains also had dirt stains on them, which we found disgusting! No more!

The Ekuthek, a steak restaurant in Nuremberg Langwasser, has been located on the edge of the Frankencenter for decades, not far from the Kommunalhaus subway stop. The ambience has the charm of bygone bourgeois and is therefore very comfortably furnished. The menu offers an extensive selection of steaks. A separate menu also offers meat that is not always available, such as bison, American Angus prime beef, etc. If you don't want the classic "chunk of meat" on your plate, there is a nice selection of plate arrangements. The quality of meat and “filling side dishes” is very, very good and everything is delicious. The always attentive and friendly service completes the picture perfectly. Conclusion: Go there and try it out. It's worth it.

First time here, but definitely not the last. I personally eat almost no meat, but I have tried it with my husband and daughter. The food was also fresh, hot and very tasty within 25 minutes!! (Garlic baguette is a dream) the steaks were perfect as we ordered and super fresh. Since the service was often at our table to inquire, it always seemed like you were being noticed and welcomed as a guest. Since we had 3 side dishes with the main course and dessert, you should budget €50 per person! We were very satisfied and will definitely come back again
