I spontaneously showed up there for dinner on Saturday evening with my wife and our little dog. Were received very nicely and warmly. Our steaks were so good that we will put them both on our top 5 in Germany. We will definitely come back as soon as we are in the area. It was extremely tender and perfectly fried. The herb butter rounded the whole thing off phenomenally. The time management from ordering to the first bite of the steak was super quick. Not a classic steakhouse inside and out. But definitely worth a visit for every meat lover. The price for this quality was great, and beats some steakhouses all over Germany, I would like to thank you for this experience and wish the team all the best for the future. Kind regards

I had dinner here with my girlfriend for their anniversary. We got a decorated table and the lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. The steaks were also very tasty, as were the side dishes. Overall, a very nice experience and a clear recommendation.

Always a pleasure! I love eating there! When I asked for my fries to be weighed - since I have an illness and am pregnant - my request was honored immediately, which I really appreciate. The boss is super nice and the waiter really made us all smile. The atmosphere is very inviting and warm, which makes the experience even better. I go there a lot and still love it! Nice restaurant. Delicious food. We felt like we were on the kicker. Because after the main course we were asked if we wanted dessert, otherwise the waiter could send the kitchen staff home. The service was only partially friendly and accommodating. The allergen menu is inadequate and obviously partially incorrectly labeled; when asked, it was clear that they actually had no knowledge of allergens. In this respect, it is not recommended for people with intolerances, which is a disgrace given the price sector. The meat was good to very good, the side dishes were average.

Very disappointed! We both ordered fillet steak with baked potatoes and a mixed salad with Italian dressing. Plus a pilsner and a glass of white wine. 1 steak medium and 1 steak medium until well done desired. 1x 150g and 1x 200g. The steaks were of poor quality, lukewarm and fibrous with no taste. Both were served medium rare contrary to our order. I've never had such a bad fillet steak in a steakhouse and it was lukewarm. The salad was a “joke”! Mostly canned corn and carrots drowned in dressing! We also complained about all of this to the (friendly) waiter. Answer from the waiter: Several guests have already complained about it. Problem is known. Apparently the supplier here delivered inferior meat. The boss would already be informed. But it wouldn't be back until next week. Apologized and brought us an espresso on the house. Price and performance are not possible with this miserable quality! Paid 91 euros for it! Wasted money! Prices are also completely excessive considering the (inferior) quality! 5.20 euros for a 0.4 l Pils etc. No more EKUTHEK! In this high price segment you can really expect or demand different quality! Ambiance: Had a nice table by the window in the winter garden below. View was not possible because the curtains were drawn. The curtains also had dirt stains on them, which we found disgusting! No more!

The Ekuthek, a steak restaurant in Nuremberg Langwasser, has been located on the edge of the Frankencenter for decades, not far from the Kommunalhaus subway stop. The ambience has the charm of bygone bourgeois and is therefore very comfortably furnished. The menu offers an extensive selection of steaks. A separate menu also offers meat that is not always available, such as bison, American Angus prime beef, etc. If you don't want the classic "chunk of meat" on your plate, there is a nice selection of plate arrangements. The quality of meat and “filling side dishes” is very, very good and everything is delicious. The always attentive and friendly service completes the picture perfectly. Conclusion: Go there and try it out. It's worth it.

One of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. We celebrated our birthday with 20 people. After ordering, all menus were there within 20-25 minutes. Everything was perfect and spot on (steak). We received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice place for two. The drinks were received very quickly and were delivered to us quickly. The food was also fresh, hot and very tasty within 25 minutes!! (Garlic baguette is a dream) the steaks were perfect as we ordered and super fresh. Since the service was often at our table to inquire, it always seemed like you were being noticed and welcomed as a guest. Since we had 3 side dishes with the main course and dessert, you should budget €50 per person! We were very satisfied and will definitely come back again

The food was really tasty and the service was very attentive and friendly. All in all, a nice evening with friends and good food. Unfortunately I have to deduct points for the ketchup. You pay quite a bit for the food and get a small glass bowl with bad and bitter tasting ketchup. A small detail for many, but you really shouldn't skimp on it. A pity.

So we went in, we hadn't booked a table. The lady said no problem, you can have this table for one hour and then people are coming that booked the table. Our order was taken, and we started to eat, but before we had finished, we were being pushed out, well under an hour in time. The plates were being collected before I'd finished, and the other people were being seated at our table. Total rubbish service, they should have just not served us and said sorry, no tables free. But no, they wanted to make some money, with the free table, we paid €130 (3 of us). I don't recommend this place at all. RUBBISH SERVICE.

We were last there with our 1.5 year old son and my brother-in-law. All wishes are always catered for. The food and service are exceptionally good and I've never had anything to complain about. Our son was also warmly welcomed.

Yesterday we visited The Village whiskey fair. Wanted to have a nice meal afterwards. Thanks to Google Maps we found the “Ekuthek” near our hotel. I was able to make a reservation straight away via the steakhouse's homepage. I received the confirmation quickly. About the ambience: the “Glas Wintergarten” is something special and the Ekuthek is something special. The many plants and the tasteful decoration create a great atmosphere. SERVICE: Ms. Sanders welcomed us personally and led us to our table and often stopped by our table to check that everything was going well. I always think it's great when the boss lends a hand, it shows you as a customer that you fully support what you're doing. As a starter we had the tuna carpaccio. The sauce here went very well 👍 For the main course I had the rump steak 250g and as a side dish broccoli with hollandise sauce. My friend had the Filet Supreme 300g with a baked potato. We are real meat lovers and therefore often eat steaks like this. So we can only warmly recommend Ekuthek!!! A delight for the taste buds!!! Dessert: Mousse au chocola with a scoop of ice cream. Completed the meal perfectly! We'll definitely be back! ;)

Great steak! We were very time constrained and were happy that we were served very quickly. Extremely friendly service! However, we didn't really like the atmosphere, which is again a matter of taste. Parking wasn't possible on site, so we drove onto the side street and parked there. Free for 2 hours from 6 p.m.

The atmosphere was special, both homely, cozy and elegant. So a good mix. It was a pleasant temperature, even though the restaurant has a large glass front. The acoustics were never unpleasant. The service was more than accommodating and very nice, and we were often at the table and therefore very attentive. We were really looking forward to the beans with bacon. Unfortunately, these were already sold out that day (Saturday evening). For me, that's part of a steakhouse, the meat itself. We therefore decided on the lamb's lettuce with bacon for €11. This was a 3 in terms of taste and a 6 in terms of quantity. Charging €12 for this amount of bacon and a few leaves of lettuce was a bit of a shock to us. For the main course I had the JÄGEREMEISTER filet tips with butter rice. You have to admit, the meat was really first class, as was the mushroom cream sauce. The rice had probably never seen butter before, but was pleasant as a side dish. My wife chose the large vegetable plate and fries. Except for the cream sauce with mushrooms, which was again very good, I unfortunately have to say that the rest was average. Unfortunately, McDonald's fries are much better. In terms of the overall feeling, it seems to us that the meat and the accompanying sauce are really of the highest quality, but side dishes, vegetables and salad are unfortunately given little priority. We think that's a shame, because only then would a holistic culinary experience be guaranteed. 3 stars because the quality of the food is significantly more important to us than the other two points.

Hatte dazu die Pfeffersoße, diese war hausgemacht und verdammt lecker. Auch das Dessert war eine Wucht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis Leistung absolut okay. Das Essen war sehr lecker und alle fanden es super. Auch der Service war hervorragend. Obwohl die Suppe etwas zu heiß war sowie die Kroketten, gibt es die volle Punktzahl. Toll!

Wie immer eine sehr gute Wahl. Dieses Mal leider getrübt durch eine sehr große Flachse (Flaxe) im Angus-Rind. Das darf in einem Restaurant dieser Güte mit Fachpersonal einfach nicht passieren, peinlich der Moment mit der Serviette. Wenigstens ein Gruß aus der Küche als Entschuldigung.
