Es war wie immer absolut super. Leider sind wir sehr traurig, dass dieses super Steakhouse für immer schließen muss. Wir waren immer sehr gerne da und es war ein absolutes Highlight. Alles Gute für die Zukunft.

Danke für viele Jahre! Es war jedes Mal ein Genuss. Egal was wir bestellt haben, die Qualität war konstant hervorragend. Ein großes Lob auch an den Service! ​Es ist wirklich schade, dass wir nun auf diese tolle Adresse verzichten müssen. Wir danken dem gesamten Team für die vielen schönen Abende und das fantastische Essen.

Guter Service und leckeres Essen, wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren zu viert, vier verschiedene Bestellungen, alle kamen gleichzeitig und die 3 Steaks (1x kein Steak) waren wie gewünscht gebraten . Das ist toll aber leider nicht selbstverständlich. Netter Service und die Chefin , wie häufig, anwesend. Es war ein Donnerstag und trotzdem mega gut besucht. In Nürnberg für uns das beste Stadthaus seit Jahren. Etwas kess finde ich die Preisgestaltung bei den Pommes oder Farmerkartoffeln, da sehe ich keine Relation und für einen Ca dei Frati Lugana 0.2 11,--€ muss man eben akzeptieren. Ich stelle es eben immer ins Verhältnis zu den Hauptspeisen und da fehlt mit die Relation. Das gutes Fleisch teuer ist, ist nachvollziehbar und jeden Bissen wert.

Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Die Zubereitung der Steaks auf dem Punkt genau. Ambiente ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Die Ofenkartoffel hatte zwischen der Schale und der Kartoffel deutliche und mehrere Schimmelspuren. Auf leere Getränke wird auch nicht geachtet.

Ich war zum ersten Mal, dank meines wunderbaren Traummannes Steak essen und war begeistert. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen.

Ich bin seit weit mehr als 10 Jahre hin und wieder Gast in der Ekuthek. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Augenblich willkommen. Die Kommunikation des Service entspricht dem, was die Chefin vorlebt. Für dieses Gast-Service Feeling würde ich der Ekuthek, auf jeden Fall einen Michelin Stern geben. Die Gastfreundschaft ist nicht aufgestetzt, sondern emphathisch und angenehm. Die Ekuthek steht in meinem persönichen Ranking auf Platz 4 der Besten Steak Restaurants in Nürnberg. Trditionäl bin ich seit zig Jahren am ersten oder zweiten Weihnachtfeiertag mit Teilen meiner Familie als Gast in der Ekuthek. Die Preise sind m.E. mehr als Stimmig zur Qualität, Zubereitung und zum Service. Ganz ehrlich: Ich denke, die müssten ein bisschen höhere Preise haben, was sie sich zum Wettbewerb aber wahrscheinlich nicht leisten können. Die Chefin lebt und liebt, was Sie tut und das merkt man als Gast. " Was kann ich als Einzelner schon tun?" höre ich oft. Ich werde dieses Jahr meine Besuche in der Ekuthek verdoppeln, weil ich beitragen möchte, das menschlichen Wertigkeiten mehr Wert sind, als wirtschaftliche. Der Chefin der Ekuthek gehört mein größter Respekt!

Klein aber sehr fein, jedes mal sehr lecker, auch für nicht Steakfans gibt es leckere Gerichte, Vorspeisen und Desserts. Bedenkenlos zu empfehlen. Dekoration ansprechend, im unteren Bereich aber schöner.

Wir waren inzwischen schon drei Mal in diesem Restaurant und sind jedes Mal begeistert. Die besonders gastfreundliche Atmosphäre in Kombination mit einem sehr professionellen Service macht den Besuch jedes Mal zu etwas Besonderem. Das Essen ist durchweg spitzenmäßig und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Egal ob spontan, als besonderes Essen mit der Familie oder mit Freunden – man fühlt sich hier immer willkommen. Sehr angenehm ist auch die Lautstärke: Selbst wenn alle Tische besetzt sind, bleibt die Atmosphäre entspannt und gemütlich.

Einfache Online-Reservierung, ausgezeichneter herzlicher Service, hervorragendes Essen. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Heute an meinem Geburtstag im Ekuthek gegessen. Hervorragende Steaks, tolle Qualität und ein extrem freundlicher Service. Die Inhaberin Frau Sanders war persönlich da, sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Absolute Empfehlung.

The food tastes quite good, but the prices are sometimes a bit high.

Unfortunately, no photos, but it was very good. We had medium-rare steak with sides. As appetizers, we had shrimp skewers with garlic bread and a mixed green salad with bacon and croutons. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the dressing on the green salad was fantastic. All in all, superb. The service was very friendly and efficient. We'd gladly come back. If you want to enjoy a superb meal, this is the place to go.

I'm from Langwasser, and the Ekuthek was always worth a visit, even 30 years ago. Now that I've moved back there, I've been back again. What can I say? Excellent meat and everything else too – yummy! I'll be back.

We've been to EKU in Nuremberg/Langwasser a few times now and have always been very satisfied. From the reservation process to the incredibly friendly service and the truly excellent food, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. We'll be back! 🥂

We've been to Ekuthek many times; everything there is simply delicious, from burgers and garlic bread to, of course, the steaks. The service is attentive and very friendly, and the price-performance ratio is excellent.

I ordered the most expensive filet steak for around €40, but wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked – something that should be standard practice in a steakhouse. Not everyone likes their steak medium-rare, and I'm no exception. The herb butter was also disappointing; it tasted more like sour cream than classic herb butter. On the positive side, the service was polite and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant – even though the tables were quite close together.

If this is supposed to be one of the best steakhouses in Franconia, I'd never want to step foot in the "worse" ones! You spend a relatively large amount of money, and when you point out that two of the three dishes aren't okay—partially cooked instead of medium or medium rare—you get a friendly shrug!

One of the best steakhouses in Franconia. We had three fillet steaks with varying degrees of doneness. Each was perfect, and the meat was buttery tender. The service was super friendly and pleasantly unobtrusive. Only the ambiance isn't quite my taste. But they made the most of the "oversized winter cooking." We'll be back :)

The food was absolutely excellent. The service was distinctly uninterested. The wait was extremely long, well over an hour, despite making an appointment. It used to be better.

Since we enjoy good fillet steaks, we go to the Ekuthek. The restaurant is located outside of Nuremberg's city center and is very easy to reach by car and public transport. The service is excellent without being intrusive. Special requests are accommodated wherever possible. The food is very good in terms of quality and taste. We've been there several times now, and the steaks were cooked to perfection at all levels. That's top-notch. The ambiance is always a matter of taste. There are much more appealing steak restaurants, both in terms of the exterior (which isn't the restaurant's fault) and the interior. If you don't want to put yourself through the stress and want to drive into Nuremberg's city center, the Eluthek is a great place to eat and enjoy an excellent meal.

Beautifully located restaurant (for a restaurant in Nuremberg). We were there just before an Assane Badiane show, and the food was absolutely fantastic. If we ever come back, we'd eat here again!

The service was first-class. The food was generally good. The garlic bread would have been even better if it had been crispy on both sides. The Angus skewer wasn't medium-rare, but it was still tasty. We'll be back.

Four of us went to this steakhouse yesterday afternoon. The restaurant was very empty at the time, with only two or three other tables occupied. A female server served us, and as soon as we started ordering, she immediately asked how we wanted to pay. This seemed extremely rude. It was our first visit to a steakhouse. We chose the type of steak and the degree of doneness we wanted, but didn't realize that you could also choose side dishes like garlic butter or peppercorn sauce. The server didn't mention this at all, which would have been very helpful, especially for first-time visitors. She also cleared our plates very quickly, leaving us no time to talk in peace or finish our meals. This made us feel unwelcome. Someone in our group speaks German and noticed that this server was significantly friendlier and more attentive than other guests who spoke only German. In comparison, her demeanor toward us was very cold and distant. When we paid, she even actively asked us for a tip. We declined because their behavior was noticeably discriminatory from start to finish. We didn't want to pay extra for such service. The meat was of very good quality, but the service was abysmal.

Very tasty, no faux pas or lame excuses, just everything just right and to the point. Okay, you pay a bit more for that, but overall, everything just fits together.

I spontaneously showed up there for dinner on Saturday evening with my wife and our little dog. Were received very nicely and warmly. Our steaks were so good that we will put them both on our top 5 in Germany. We will definitely come back as soon as we are in the area. It was extremely tender and perfectly fried. The herb butter rounded the whole thing off phenomenally. The time management from ordering to the first bite of the steak was super quick. Not a classic steakhouse inside and out. But definitely worth a visit for every meat lover. The price for this quality was great, and beats some steakhouses all over Germany, I would like to thank you for this experience and wish the team all the best for the future. Kind regards

I had dinner here with my girlfriend for their anniversary. We got a decorated table and the lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. The steaks were also very tasty, as were the side dishes. Overall, a very nice experience and a clear recommendation.

Always a pleasure! I love eating there! When I asked for my fries to be weighed - since I have an illness and am pregnant - my request was honored immediately, which I really appreciate. The boss is super nice and the waiter really made us all smile. The atmosphere is very inviting and warm, which makes the experience even better. I go there a lot and still love it! An absolute tip for anyone who wants to eat really well.

Nice restaurant. Delicious food. We felt like we were on the kicker. Because after the main course we were asked if we wanted dessert, otherwise the waiter could send the kitchen staff home. In other words, we would rather not order dessert anymore because we would like to go home! We didn't do that then either. That was a shame on a day like Christmas Day.

The service was only partially friendly and accommodating. The allergen menu is inadequate and obviously partially incorrectly labeled; when asked, it was clear that they actually had no knowledge of allergens. In this respect, it is not recommended for people with intolerances, which is a disgrace given the price sector. The meat was good to very good, the side dishes were average.
