Yesterday, as I've often done in the past, I went to Monokeros for dinner with friends. The service and the quality of the food and drinks were, as always, excellent. I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Monokeros.

We spent a wonderful evening together at **Monokeros**. The restaurant is very cozy, the service extremely friendly, and the food simply delicious. We always enjoy the appetizers here, like the oven-baked feta. Today, there was also a special menu with various pumpkin dishes: The soup and meatballs made with it were really good! To finish off, we had a piece of cake and a choice of ouzo or liqueur as a welcome drink from the kitchen. **Highly recommended – we'd love to come back!**

Nice ambience, unfortunately only one schnapps

The Einhorn is a good Greek restaurant on Bärenschanze. In the summer, there's an outdoor area on the street. The interior is also quite tastefully decorated. The food was good and the service was impeccable. Restrooms are on the ground floor.

I highly recommend it. The food is super fresh, the atmosphere is perfect, and the owners of this place are very friendly and very welcoming. Clean restrooms are important, so you can tell who's there and who doesn't forget to do this. Highly recommended.

If you enjoy Greek food, you're in good hands here. Classic grilled dishes and other dishes are a treat. It would have earned a fifth star if the meat had been a bit juicier. Service is very charming and friendly, and the outdoor area is a great place to linger. Value for money is absolutely excellent! Thank you very much.

I rarely go to Greek restaurants, but at Monokeros, everything is perfect. The food is delicious and of very good quality. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Delivery time stated as 10–30 minutes. After 45 minutes, I asked the restaurant – no apology or other explanation. The manager simply said the driver would be there "right away." Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Further attempts to reach the restaurant by phone were ignored or hung up. When the driver finally arrived after over an hour, there was again no apology. My son tried the schnitzel – it was inedible and a visual disappointment. The fries were cold. €50 for nothing. Simply awful!

We were there a few days ago with a larger group and had a very good meal there. The service was attentive and quick. Everyone was very satisfied. It wasn't too loud, like it sometimes is in these smaller restaurants with just one room. So everything was good all around, I'd love to come back there.

Ordered from a delivery service. Unfortunately there was probably an error so it couldn't be delivered. We then picked up the food and were refunded the delivery fee. The food (gyros, saganaki, seafood salad, pita) was very tasty and the portions were also very good. The pita was a little greasier than I usually find, which I didn't think was bad at all at the time.

Ordered food via Lieferando, still not there after 1.5 hours. According to the email, the driver had been “on site” for 40 minutes, but in fact he was on a large delivery trip to complete everything in one trip. Called the restaurant and asked - hardly understandable due to language barriers, plus just excuses. Food arrived lukewarm. Totally overpriced for €27: €5.50 for a tiny side salad (see picture) – a disgrace! Dressing tasteless, cheap butcher onions everywhere. Overall portion far too small for the price. The only plus point: The rice was well seasoned and tasted good. The rest was unfortunately dry and tasted disappointing. Even the tzatziki had no aroma, not even garlic. Will not order here again.

A cozy atmosphere and very tasty food 🥘

I can only report on the food delivered via Lieferando: The gyros with suvlaki & calamari we ordered was really extremely tasty :) One or two more calamari would have been cool (there were 2), but the portion was definitely fair for the price. The fried zucchini was also good - it was definitely a bit crunchier in the restaurant itself, but unfortunately that's often the case with deliveries and easy to accept. I would definitely order again or stop by the restaurant :) Delivery was very quick ~30 minutes!

One of the good Greek restaurants around Nuremberg, they have very interesting and delicious appetizers, the stuffed mushrooms was absolutely delicious, and very interesting pepperonis, the main dishes were really good gyros and beftiki were amazing, the souvlaki was a bit dry and the lamb cutlet a bit chewy as for the sea food, the GF loved them, over all really good food, good service and nice atmosphere

Das Lokal wurde über den Sommer komplett renoviert. Das essen ist fantastisch, der Service auch und das Ambiente ist jetzt modern und geschmackvoll.

Wir waren heute Mittag essen,da wir gehört haben,daß der Besitzer gewechselt hat und wir den Monokeros testen wollten. Das Ambiente hat für mich keinen griechischen Flair, scheinbar setzt man hier auf chicimicki-Gäste,die hier mehr Wein verzehren. Der Service war zwar bemüht,aber kommt nicht an die griechische Gastfreundlichkeit ran,wie ich es kenne. Hier darf man ruig gern mehr auf den Gast eingehen. Die Küche hingegen war toll, Was ich dem Inhaber auch mehrfach sagen mußte. Das Essen war toll gewürzt und wirlich schmackhaft 👍

Wir aßen zu dritt zu Abend (nach vorheriger Reservierung, letztere ist wegen des stetigen Besucherandrangs sehr zu empfehlen) und nahmen dazu im Außenbereich der Gaststätte Platz. Zwar befindet sich dieser beinahe unmittelbar an der Straße, doch aufgrund der 30 km-Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung kam es zu keinem Zeitpunkt zu Lärm- oder anderen Belästigungen. Das Servicepersonal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam, unsere Bestellungen wurden schnell aufgenommen und auch schnell sowie fehlerfrei ausgeführt. Auch im weiteren Verlauf des Besuchs wurde stets darauf geachtet, ob noch "Nachschub" benötigt wird - angesichts der hohen Zahl an Gästen eine tolle Leistung, auch wenn man das gerne als Selbstverständlichkeit ansieht. Das Essen kam heiß auf den Tisch und war äußerst schmackhaft. Die Portionen sind vernünftig dimensioniert, die Preise fair und angemessen. Die Karte bietet eine große Auswahl, so sollte jede/r mit Sympathie für die griechische Küche etwas Passendes für sich finden können. Es war ein wirklich gelungener Abend und mit Sicherheit nicht unser letzter Besuch im Monokeros!

Das Essen schmeckte ausgezeichnet und vor allem auch der wöchentlich wechselnde Nachtisch war fantastisch. Es gibt einen schönen Biergarten, aber wir saßen drinnen, da es so wundervoll und gemütlich eingerichtet ist.

Es ist nicht mehr der Schwarze Bär. Kosta fehlt. Öffnungszeiten sind stark verkürzt. Die Speisekarte ist eher etwas abgehoben im Vergleich zu früher. Schattenplätze sind wegen der Markise und Wegfall der Sonnenschirme reduziert.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und sind total begeistert! Definitiv eines der besten griechischen Lokale in Nürnberg! Super Qualität, das Souvlaki war schön zart und saftig, die Pommes schön knusprig und alles sehr lecker! Und ein richtig guter Ouzo auf’s Haus rundet das ganze ab. Einfach perfekt!

Salat mit Scampi war etwas wenig gewürzt. Die Kalamari mit Sardellen war reichlich und gut. Die Vorspeise war etwas klein. Zazikki leider nur ein Klecks. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und flott. Draußen sitzen ist sehr gemütlich. Inneneinrichtung sehr schön gestaltet. Kommen sicherlich wieder. Preis-Leistung ist vollkommen angemessen. Damen Toiletten war zwar alt, aber sauber 👍🏽

Der Grieche auf dem Land. Keine besondere kulinarische Überraschung. Wir haben ganz nett gegessen.

Eines gleich vorweg: Wer einen Hipster-Laden mit fancy Gerichten sucht, der ist hier absolut fehl am Platz. Wer allerdings einen schönen Abend mit Freunden oder Familie verbringen und das Gefühl haben möchte, dass er im eigenen Wohnzimmer bewirtet wird, ist hier genau richtig. Entspannte Atmosphäre, schöner kleiner Biergarten, buntes Publikum - einfach typisch Gostenhof. Der "Schwarze Bär" ist bereits seit über 20 Jahren eine absolute Institution und der Wirt Kosta, seine Frau und deren Adjutant Jorgos sind an Herzlichkeit schwer zu überbieten. Hier geht man gerne hin, wird man immer freundlich bedient und mit bodenständiger, griechischer Küche, aber auch fränkischen Speisen, schmackhaft versorgt. Die Salate sind immer frisch angemacht, die Calamari superlecker und die Souvlaki saftig und zart. Dazu sind die Preise absolut fair und für das, was man auf dem Teller oder der Platte erhält, fast schon zu günstig angesetzt. Auch gibt es im "Schwarzen Bär" hervorragende fränkische Biere der Brauerei Simon aus Lauf zu verköstigen. Absolut verdiente fünf Sterne *****
