We are a family visiting Nuremberg March 2025. Indian cuisine is one of our favorite foods and we have eaten some of the best Indian food around the world. We are so delighted to have stumbled into this neighborhood restaurant. We knew immediately it was going to be delicious when it was packed with locals. Although we didn’t have reservations, they were kind to make room for us. The menu is filled with so mouth watering dishes that we had trouble selecting an entree! I am the vegetarian in the family and there are 2 pages dedicated to meatless dishes. The overall consensus is this is some of the best Indian food we have ever had!! My son who is really picky gobbled up his butter chicken! Of course we over-ordered but we are fortunate to now have leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. I love this isn’t in a touristy area - and filled with locals. Also, it’s a nice break from the schnitzel and bratwurst. If you get a chance to eat here, it’s best to make a reservation… but they are kind and will try not to turn anyone away. You won’t be disappointed!! Just be sure to come here with a big appetite!

Best Indian Food in Nürnberg to my knowledge. We order or eat there at least 4 times per months :) Fast, super friendly and efficient service. What do you want more?

It was amazing and Magnificat experience. I personally recommend kadai paneer and mango lassi with kuchla . It was perfekt combibination.

We've enjoyed coming here for years, but unfortunately the quality has declined significantly The butter chicken is no longer the same And it feels less and less but more expensive

Authentic taste of Indian cuisine. The food was perfectly cooked which makes the paneer more soft as well as delicious. At last, they offered these gulabjamun 😋 which make me happy.

Today I got a chance to dine in here , I ordered kadhai paneer and daal makhni which was a delightful mixture of fresh paneer and Indian spices 🫠 Moreover the staff is very friendly & they offered us kheer as discount Highly recommended ❤️

Very tasty food. Mon - Fri there are selected dishes between 12:00 and 2:30 p.m. for around €9 as a lunch menu. There is even a small salad too. The quantity was just right and it tasted great. Definitely recommended!

Very tasty Indian food. There are dishes with all kinds of meat, but also vegetarian dishes. The service is very attentive and courteous. The food came very quickly, even though we were there as a larger group (12 people). The naan bread was simply great. When the rice was empty, it was refilled. Nice atmosphere.

The vegetarian dishes we chose were very tasty and authentically Indian (we were only recently in northern India), as were the mango lassi and the Indian chai tea (really tastes like in India, very tasty with all the spice notes) 🙂 The dishes were also presented in a very visually appealing way and Indian music was playing in the background. Come by if you want to experience a trip to India with all your senses.

The food tasted super delicious! There is a lot to choose from, especially for vegetarians and vegans! The owners and the wait staff were all super friendly. At the end we were brought a small shot that contained very, very little alcohol and tasted very fruity and delicious :)! We will definitely eat here again!

The tea was lukewarm and watery, which was disappointing. While the rest of the food was decent, the prices were far too high for what was offered.

I ordered the food directly from Namaste website without any home delivery fee. Everything was very tasty. In addition, the employee was very friendly and the food came on time. Cash payment is possible, but I recommend having exact money or in advance e.g. to pay with Paypal. Super recommended!

I came to write this review because 2 years ago as a surprise I took my husband here for his birthday, whose hobby is cooking authentic Indian food. It was shockingly bad. He left a review back then expressing his dislike in a polite British manner and just received a notification from Google that his review will be shortly removed because of defamation. I am here to confirm that there is no defamation, this place is not worth a visit if you are after proper Indian cuisine. Have a look at the dates and the frequency of the reviews submitted, the review section is clearly tampered with. Beware!

Very nice and not too expensive

Went there for dinner with my partner this evening. The ambience and especially the smell of the Indian cuisine is a dream. My partner ordered lamb and received chicken. The operator corrected the error immediately. The service was A1 in this restaurant. We asked several times whether everything was okay. The waiters were all very personable and the woman (I think it was the boss was very very personable) too. It was our first time there and certainly not the last time. Big praise and thank you for a nice evening

It was our first time in Namaste Restaurant on Nürnberg. We coulden't expect such a good Indian atmosphere. We have been im some Indian restaurants, but in no one we can feel that climate than in Namaste. And of course the meals: delishes, aromatic, cooked and brought with heart. We can highly recommend. Polish tourists on Biofach, Aneta & Rafal.

Really amazing taste, similar to restaurants in India. Probably the best Indian restaurant in Franconia. Samosa was amazing and even better than what we get in India. Naan is perfect and spongy. Chicken chilly was also good, there’s a room for improvement by using leg pieces more sauces but I guess German prefer the version which was served. Overall it exceeds the expectations.

Very good selection of traditional food and drinks, courteous, attentive staff. The food was consistently tasty and had a well-balanced spiciness. An Indian restaurant that you could only wish for. We had great experience. We ordered chilli chicken dry, it was good and spicy and kadhai chicken, quantity was good for two persons. The naan tastes more like India.

Best Indian food in a long time. The garlic naan bread was a poem and the butter chicken was actually butter-tender and a hit in terms of taste. Every bite was fun. Any time.
