The two of us ate at Namaste Nuremberg on Father's Day and luckily had a table reservation. The restaurant was packed. We were asked to sit at a table right by the open door to the terrace. Since it was drafty, they offered to close the door or move us to another table with little wait time. We decided to wait. Our drink order came fairly quickly. It took a while before we could order our food. However, the food arrived quickly as well. The quality of the food was okay. Unfortunately, the lamb from the tandoor was dry and very firm. We had expected something different. The portion was large enough. The vegetarian dish with vegetables wasn't particularly large. However, with enough rice and naan, even a hearty eater would probably be satisfied. The spiciness level was just right for us. Unfortunately, there was no house greeting beforehand, which we have had at other Indian restaurants. The lentil bread with dip can be ordered separately for an additional €3.90. The value for money for both food and drinks is okay. The service staff were friendly and not stressed despite the full house.

I was in Nuremberg on a whim from the north and stumbled upon this restaurant. Love Indian food! Finally, for me, it's just the right amount of spice and has an exceptional flavor. Not the overly Germanized version. It was a good choice. We'll be happy to come back if we're ever in the area again. Thank you so much 😊

Very friendly and caring staff. We were given a bowl of water for our dog without asking. We were accidentally delivered the wrong food, which they recognized. We were even allowed to try the food for free and then received our correct meal. Very good complaint management. We'll be back.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the music is wonderful. The service is very attentive and friendly. The red and yellow curries were served in steaming iron pans, accompanied by rice with aromatic spices – simply delicious!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality I personally liked Paneer Tandoor very much. Very well marinated, excellent texture and taste. I will highly recommend it. Other dishes also tasted nice. The staff were also nice and friendly. The owner of the restaurant personally asked feedback of every dish and took care. Will recommend.

Actually 6 stars are appropriate here. The most delicious Indian food we have ever eaten, both vegan and with meat. Unobtrusive and very attentive service, nice ambience both inside and outside. Heated plates, beautifully arranged... Good value for money and super clean. I can't eat Indian anywhere else anymore ☺️

Probably Nuremberg's best Indian restaurant

I had the Sabzi kofta and roti, both very delicious and moderately spicy. For drinks I had the mango lassi which was amazing as well. The ambience and the service were great. Would highly recommend everyone to try and visit:)

I was there for lunch and had the duck. It was tasty in itself, but I found the curry a bit too oily. Otherwise, if the weather is good, I would absolutely recommend sitting outside on the terrace. The staff was very friendly and quick.

Best Indian restaurant in Nuremberg. Very tasty and also with many vegetarian options. I highly recommend Paneer Tikka Butter Masala. The ambience is artistically designed. It's just that it's very warm in the building. It's best to come with a shirt.

The food was excellent; everything tasted good. The portions were generous, so you didn't leave hungry. The price-performance ratio was also perfectly acceptable. We'd be happy to return. The only thing is the ambiance, which isn't outstanding, but it's not particularly disturbing either, as long as you're not expecting a romantic or intimate atmosphere.

We are not super familiar with Indian food and honestly, the few experiences that we had were not great. We decided to try this highly recommended Indian restaurant while visiting Nerenberg, Germany of all places! Farooq Was an amazing server and took great care of us. We tried several items on the menu that we were familiar with but each and everyone was completely delicious and over the top. We were all always amazed at how economical eating out in Germany is as well! We will definitely return the next time we are here.

The food was excellent, fairly priced, and a good quantity (we even had some doggy-bagged because we couldn't finish it) and the staff is very friendly. They even brought a complementary dessert to a friend that briefly joined us after we finished eating, free of charge. I would definitely recommend a visit

It was a fantastic experience. The food is absolutely outstanding and the service is super kind. To confirm this, there was a small mistake in the food (we ordered one dish with paneer and got it with chicken) but the waiters were super nice and brought the right dish, leaving also the "wrong" one and not putting it in the invoice. We are a family visiting Nuremberg March 2025. Indian cuisine is one of our favorite foods and we have eaten some of the best Indian food around the world. We are so delighted to have stumbled into this neighborhood restaurant. We knew immediately it was going to be delicious when it was packed with locals. Although we didn’t have reservations, they were kind to make room for us. The menu is filled with so mouth watering dishes that we had trouble selecting an entree! I am the vegetarian in the family and there are 2 pages dedicated to meatless dishes. The overall consensus is this is some of the best Indian food we have ever had!! My son who is really picky gobbled up his butter chicken! Of course we over-ordered but we are fortunate to now have leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. I love this isn’t in a touristy area - and filled with locals. Also, it’s a nice break from the schnitzel and bratwurst. If you get a chance to eat here, it’s best to make a reservation… but they are kind and will try not to turn anyone away. You won’t be disappointed!! Just be sure to come here with a big appetite!
