Beautiful ambience, delicious food, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast buffet.

Simply outstanding! The food was of the highest quality – fresh, lovingly prepared, and a true highlight in terms of taste. I was particularly impressed by the variety on the menu and the creative preparation. The service also deserves high praise: attentive, friendly, and always present at the right time, without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending – I would love to come back!

Delicious Sachertorte and Caffe Crema.

Despite the truly excellent and always friendly service, which I have to emphasize each time, the food has unfortunately always disappointed me on our several visits. Last time, I ordered the vegetable curry (€18.90). Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations at all: instead of a creamy sauce, there was only a thin broth in which the vegetables disappeared. The promised coconut milk was neither visible nor tasted. The rice in particular, but also the vegetables themselves, tasted rather bland. Also disappointing were the baked potatoes with sour cream and herb dip for €12.80. For that price, we only received four very simple baked potatoes with no additional seasoning and a very basic dip. Here, the potatoes could have been cooked with herbs, for example, to add more flavor. Apart from the main courses, however, I enjoy coming here for a coffee or the white hot chocolate. Ultimately, I unfortunately can't give it a positive overall rating. For me, the main focus of a restaurant should be the food, and the vegetarian main courses are completely unworthy of the price in terms of taste, quality, and preparation. Therefore, I give them 2.3 out of 5 stars.

Stopped for an espresso while cycling through. I ordered two espressos and, while waiting outside, noticed the price on the menu: €3.80 for one espresso – dear owners, that's extortionate/a rip-off. The friendly waiter had a few explanations ready, but they didn't really disguise the fact that it was absolutely above average. I've lived in Munich for 15 years – I'd say I've never seen that price here before. Not even at cafés that rely on this (espresso and other coffee specialties). And it wasn't even the best espresso in town. (And yes, sorry, I'm only rating the espresso price here.)

First, the positives. The server was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. The food, however, was unfortunately below average. We tried the burgers. With a €20 burger, you expect fresh quality, but you're disappointed. When I asked, the server told me that the patties are pre-cooked in the morning and then simply reheated. That's exactly how it tastes. They also serve fake processed cheese. The portions are large, but you don't really want to eat more than half the burger anyway because of the lack of flavor and quality.

Overall, I felt very comfortable at the Meiser SPA Resort :-) I just found it odd that, as a hotel guest, you have to pay the full €39 for the pool/spa if you arrive about two hours before 3:00 PM, when your room isn't ready yet? It was intended to bridge the waiting time until you could check into your room. Personally, I find this unacceptable.

The service and the food: highly recommended. Unfortunately, we had to contend with a lot of flies on and around our food. Unfortunately, there were no shady tables available outside. I can't say where all the flies were coming from. Perhaps the waiter should have closed the window. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish our meal.

Fantastically lovely place, where hospitality, service, comfort and well-being shine through at the Meiser hotel. Great rooms and beautiful surroundings, the hotel offers many experiences within the well-appointed interior of the house. Pool, Spa & Wellness are outstanding and top notch.

Three of us went out to eat today. First of all, if I could give zero stars, I would. First the waitress said if we order in the next 5 minutes we would still get something to eat. Yes, that's exactly what she said. Then you have to quickly glance at the menu. We ordered within the stated time. The starter was brought to us and it took exactly 10 minutes. We had beef carpaccio, schnitzel with fries, turkey steak with tagliatelle and roast beef with onions and all of this in 10 minutes 🤨 never. But to be honest, that's what it tasted like. The carpaccio was totally watery, the schnitzel had no seasoning and was at most half a centimeter thick, frozen and from the deep fryer. And the highlight was the roast beef with onions, it was a complete disaster. It was anything but roast beef with onions. Absolutely bad and at most 150 grams. 6 cm by 10 cm and 1 cm thick. So, for that, we're counting 104 euros. I find it cheeky and impertinent. It's probably delicious somewhere else, too.

The food tasted good...somewhat similar to frozen goods from a wholesale store. The wait time for drinks was over 15 minutes...alcoholic drinks over 30 minutes (according to the waitress). We left without a second round of drinks.

I was here for the Kinderzeche, and despite the stress, Marcel was so on point. I didn't have to wait long and was always well-served. The food was always on point.

Absolutely terrible service. We waited over 30 minutes just to get water, and the staff acted like we were an inconvenience the entire time. Our server was rude, inattentive, and messed up our order without apologizing. The food finally came cold, and we couldn’t even get anyone’s attention to fix it. Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Would not recommend.

It's located in the centre of Dinkelbuhls. There is also a biergarden. The service was excellent, very friendly. The place is nice and the food is good.

Great service and atmosphere. Good location and general vibe. The desserts we ordered were not what we expected. Can’t say I’d order it ever again. They are not horrible but very basic and not great taste at all.

The decor is very good and quaintly cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was there with my group and had coffee and cake that was very tasty 😋 and our requests were met. The only thing that concerns the restrooms is that they are clean, but the smell is... ventilation should have reduced the smell, but unfortunately that isn't the case. Unfortunately, there's a very unpleasant smell in the men's restroom 🚽 Otherwise, everything was great.

Best restaurant in Dinkelsbühl, guests and customers are served professionally and competently, very friendly and committed service staff, selection of food and drinks extensive and always OK, all of this justifies the definitely 'big city' price level.

Wonderfully relaxing and luxurious overnight stay.

Friendly welcome – we had reserved a table, but it wasn't listed anywhere – it can happen – but we were still politely assigned a table. The server who was in charge of our table was extremely rude, and it seemed like it hurt her to smile, which is why she never smiled or even looked at us in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, my food didn't taste good the first time (although the server blamed me for it, saying I should have ordered something differently – even though there were no ordering options). When it came back 15 minutes later, it was okay. But I don't need to go out to eat to get an "okay" rating. We were friendly to the server at all times and definitely expected the same in return. At times, we felt very uncomfortable due to this unfriendly treatment. However, we noticed that this lady was so unfriendly to all the guests – she rolled her eyes quickly, was impatient during the ordering process, etc. It's okay and understandable when a restaurant is busy and you have to deal with unpleasant guests. However, when you encounter friendly guests, you should definitely be friendly as well. If all service staff were like that, the restaurant industry would be lost...

Food is fine, waitress (with lots of make-up and lipstick) very unfriendly and haughty. Too bad for the experience. Would choose another more cozy restaurant in this nice village :)

This hotel is a gem for unwinding your soul and a treat for your palate. We can only recommend it wholeheartedly. If you're also a wellness fan, then there's nothing like a few days' relaxation there.

Amazing staff, beautiful decor, fast service. Tried the ‘6 Dinkelsbühler Rostbrateurste’ since it was highlighted on the menu. It is beautifully presented, but it didn’t have much flavour. The bread it came with was excellent. Maybe try a different item on the menu.

The shoulder of pork was comparable to a butcher's counter at lunchtime, where it had been left to dry for a while. It would have been fine there, but unfortunately not for €22.80! The cheeseburger was without cheese, and the patty was rather chewy. The service was very good! Given the wide selection in town, we'll probably try something else next time... We ordered the wagyu burger and the cheeseburger. Was not asked how the burgers should be cooked, so sad to see an alleged wagyu burger cooked well done. Tasted like tree bark it was so dry and had a Asian aftertaste. The bottom bun on the cheeseburger was completely soggy and couldn't even hold it, had to use utensils to eat. Unfortunately my fiancée couldn't even eat the cheeseburger because it was so gamey. Two burgers, two beers, $60... definitely not worth it. Go elsewhere!

A beautifully located restaurant with outdoor seating, nestled among the charming little houses in Dinkelsbühl's old town. We spontaneously booked a lunch for two on a Sunday. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we received good advice. The wine was very fine, and the food was also eye-catching and very tasty. The price/performance ratio was reasonable.

The asparagus portion was extremely small, and the soup tasted more like a convenience product. It was served with sliced ​​ready-made rolls (price €9.80). For the main course, I ordered braised ox cheeks, mixed asparagus ragout, and napkin dumplings. Unfortunately, the dish didn't live up to my expectations. The ox cheeks were okay, but the sauce wasn't the dark, rich braised sauce, but a light, thickened sauce. The chef poured the asparagus ragout over the meat and the light sauce. The asparagus ragout consisted of the same small asparagus pieces and stock as in the cream of asparagus soup. The napkin dumplings were very dry and lacked flavor. (Price €30.80)

A glass of water cost €4.70, a disgrace. The food was good (tortellini was great!), but the burger patty was a bit overcooked. The price was a bit on the high side. The waitress was a young woman, very arrogant and unfriendly, with short, curt answers and no explanations. The tall young man, on the other hand, was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was great, but unfortunately, no reason to stop by again.

The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. Unfortunately, the cherry cake tasted very dry and not at all moist. The seating is very nice and quiet, away from the main road. A steep staircase leads down to the basement to the very stylish restroom.

We stopped by Meiser for coffee and were very impressed by the courtesy and speed of the service staff. The seating is very pleasant in the well-shaded sidewalk café (on a quiet side street). The restrooms are very clean, located in the basement. The only criticism: the cappuccino is served in stylish coffee cups, the contents of which are noticeably too small.

Perfect location with fabulous food and service

As someone who has often enjoyed piña coladas, I was expecting a classic, tropical combination of pineapple and coconut. Unfortunately, I was served a piña colada with a grapefruit slice—without any indication of this on the menu. This change made the drink bitter and unbalanced, ruining the experience of an otherwise very pleasant cocktail. In a fine-dining restaurant, I expect either adherence to classic recipes or at least clear communication about deviations—be it on the menu or through service. I paid €28 for a piña colada and a cheese plate. When we tried to order a second dish, we were told we would have to wait at least 30 minutes. When we tried to pay, the card machine didn't work, so the waitress called a colleague. Eventually, three servers came to our table, which drew the attention of the entire room—a very unpleasant situation. I hope management takes such details seriously. The quality of a restaurant is reflected not only in its decor, but also in its respect for the expectations and well-being of its guests.

Yesterday I had dinner at Meisers in Dinkelsbühl's old town again after a few years. Ambiance just great; modern and chic but very comfortable. The food was excellent, from the starter of Thai curry coconut soup to the main course of asparagus with small schnitzel and a super foamy hollondaise sauce. Also worth highlighting is the very attentive service.

Very nice café with comfortable seats in the outdoor area. Service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately there were huge pieces of ice in the ice cream from the iced coffee, which don't speak of quality, so it was deducted. Coffee was delicious, otherwise recommended.

We had a very good experience to recommend for everyone. The swimming pool is great and warm (for me as a person who always feels cold, it was OK), the service is excellent, the Wellness area with massage and treatments is great. Breakfast buffet has everything one could wish for, dinner too. For the candle light dinner, we asked if we could change the dessert and this was agreed without complications. However, tap water in restaurant could be for free, but OK because water is for free in the wellness area. The treatments and massages and the hotel bedroom are somewhat overpriced but are well done

The mattresses are comfortable, but too soft for people with disc problems. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool closed at 6 p.m., so we couldn't use it, which is a shame... Otherwise, everything was great! The food was excellent, the breakfast was fantastic. We would come again.

Basically a great location with great food. But: An Amaretto Sour that costs just over €10 and is served in a 0.3 glass should be filled accordingly and not with 5 ice cubes. When I asked that I only add 1 ice cube to the second order, I received a glass that wasn't even 4/5 full. It's a total shame because I live here and would like to come regularly. For me this is not good bartending service. Price/performance ratio in this regard unfortunately no star.

I come here more often, either to have a drink in the evening or to have dinner with friends and family. The service and ambience are very nice. The food has always been good so far.

This was our second time there. The price of the drinks sometimes made me dizzy. Things have slowed down a bit compared to two years ago, but we are still relaxed and would come back.

The food was good: burgers with truffle fries and fried potatoes with a fried egg were well seasoned. The service wasn't exactly trying and rather cold (hence no tip) We were ignored as we walked. The furnishings are chic. For us personally, the implementation was very kitschy (e.g. the LED lighting) Definitely NOT a 4 star level! Just as it is suggested on the wall at the entrance...

We were very rudely assigned a place that wasn't nice. When I asked if we could take one of the many other unoccupied tables, we were just told off that the table wasn't set... then we left again

We ate here as a group yesterday. 4 out of 6 people vomited at home and then spent two hours in the toilet. The four ate the salmon. The service has decreased and the waitress was very disinterested and not motivated. It's a shame because the master in Dinkelsbühl is very well known for TOP quality.

I recently had breakfast at the Meiser Altstadt Brasserie in Dinkelsbühl and loved it. The buffet offered an impressive selection of fresh and high quality food. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. I can recommend the Meiser Altstadt Brasserie to anyone who wants to enjoy a first-class breakfast buffet in a pleasant environment. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Very tasty Asian bowl, great ambience

Very nice and relaxing stay. Everything in the hotel, rooms and wellness area is of very high quality. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation with very good food and a warm atmosphere will certainly not be disappointed. My wife and I were absolutely thrilled.

It was a very nice stay. The employees and especially the senior manager are very nice and accommodating. You really feel like you are something special as a customer. The only thing I would wish for is that if you are traveling with family you get more discounts. Because with three children there was a lot of money that had to be put down. Otherwise great. Beautiful atmosphere, staff also very, very friendly. However, the quality of the breakfast has declined significantly. Extremely expensive, cocoa is not drinkable, scrambled eggs are either empty and ultimately completely salty and not edible. We were here for many years, this was the last time.
