We dinned there a good couple of times during our business trip, I'll start with the good, atmosphere wise and décor wise the place is beautifully done up, totally opposite to the exterior of the building. When it comes to food, sadly I didn't take pictures of all our meals as sometimes we were hungry and just forgot about taking pictures but coming from a country that eats beef every day I can tell you if you want the beef well done, they will never get it, it will always be medium or medium well done. I like mine rare so there was no problem there, but my colleagues had to soldier through theirs or just leave it on the plate as it was too raw for them. The curry wurst had a weird sauce that it didn't fit the "theme" at all. Everything else we had was in the very good section apart from the notes on the beef. Now staff related, here is where we had the not so pleasant experience, I will make a note and say that 3 of the staff members were exceptional, especially the old gentleman that had to endure us most of the nights staying up late. Sadly there were also staff members who shouldn't work in the hospitality sector if they can't be nice, on our first night the waitress was clearly bothered when I asked her to change my order from simple fries to sweet potato ones, while she was taking our orders and continued with the same negative vibe until we left. The same waitress on our last night refused to allow me acess to join the rest of my team who was at the back of the restaurant on the pretext that it's full and that they are not there, even after insisting that I just got off the phone and they told me there is plenty of room, she kept insisting that we cannot go in the back and that once I meet them I have to return and take a table in the front of the restaurant, obviously the older gentleman was there to the rescue and allowed us(myself and my German relatives) to join my coworkers in the back. Overall apart from the 3 staff that we liked everyone else there was finding it hard to be nice, smile or even try to be helpful or speak English. I hope things improve hospitality wise as it's a good place to eat in and have fun after a days work. Will return next time I'm in Dinklesbühl

Nice service, good cocktails. A little more expensive but good. We only had white sausages for food. They were delicious.

The day in your wellness area was a soothing and completely relaxing experience. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service, the pleasant atmosphere and the excellent wellness offers, which left nothing to be desired. Somewhere we popped into just have a drink after a meal in a local restaurant. The staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome.

Hello, I haven't thought much of reviews so far, but I have to write one here. We were passing through and wanted to have something to eat in this restaurant. First of all, the positive: the service was very friendly and accommodating and always helpful. At these prices you can also expect good service, and they lived up to that. Now to the kitchen… that was absolutely nothing. The older gentleman (apparently head chef) should teach the cooks instead of constantly yelling at them. For the prices I expect fresh cuisine, everything here is out of the box. The frozen pasta from the bag into the water, the napkin dumplings lie in piles in a bowl and are pre-fried, the Kaiserschmarren from the bag, the apple strudel as well. Here you definitely pay too much for what comes from the kitchen. If you already have an open kitchen that you can see into, you should probably cook smarter and tidier. From the outside you can see how messy the kitchen is. The chefs do the cooking with their fingers instead of tongs and a ladle. From my seat I had a very good view of the kitchen. There will definitely not be a second visit for dinner. It's a shame for the great service.

Food was ok so far, onion roast tasted good, portion was manageable at 27.5 euros, it was tough, we complained about it and got a replacement, but now the portion is significantly smaller, side dish reduced by 30%. No go. I think it will take some time before we open there again.

So that wasn't a big hit today. Tables are very closely spaced and you almost sit on your neighbor's lap. The lady from the service tried hard and did her job, but was so cold and aloof that you didn't feel welcome. Our food: average. I had the Franconian Schäufele. The dumplings and meat were quite dry and tasted good when reheated, which is a shame. Finally, the crowning glory was the women's toilet. There was paper everywhere on the floor, the mirror was full of water stains and there wasn't even warm water to wash your hands. I was really disappointed, I really expected it to be better given the mostly good reviews.

Good burgers, truffle fries are not much

I can absolutely recommend it, the head waiter is a force. Friendly, competent and accommodating!! What more could you want? Was asked for the first time in a restaurant how cooked my meat was. The waitresses could be a little friendlier!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meiser Alstadt Brasserie and would highly recommend it. The atmosphere is welcoming and tastefully decorated, ideal for a relaxing evening. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. I can only warmly recommend it to everyone.

Went for dinner with our family in this wonderful atmosphere. Great food, very nice waiters and a great selection of dishes. Vegetarian dishes in particular were very important to us. A great evening, we were completely happy and excited. Gladly again soon.

I ordered a Wienerschtitzel. I was given 2 frozen schnitzels. If I were in the chip shop and paid just under 10 euros, I would be happy. But the prices for what you get. Just a disgrace!!

Elegant restaurant in a beautiful city. It was supposed to be a nice family meal, but unfortunately we didn't feel welcome from the first moment. The lady who served us was unfriendly. Her unpleasant behavior made us feel uncomfortable and we wanted to eat and leave as quickly as possible. Terrible food, sauce out of a bag, disgusting dumplings, hard meat, just delicious fries. I can't recommend it. Big disappointment

We really liked it, despite the heat during the week, we relaxed very well, among other things because of the pool and the sun shells.

Great location in Dinkelsbühl, if you sit outside you can enjoy the old town. Very cozy inside, even if the decoration is a bit too much for me The service is super friendly, attentive and regularly asks if everything is OK. The food is very tasty, you just have to expect slightly higher prices. The portions are large enough to fill you up and they are prepared and served very quickly. The only drawback - we've been here several times and one person always orders the burger, but it always comes out pink. Nevertheless, we always enjoy coming here.

The juiciest burgers ever with the least greasy and crispiest fries possible. Plus point also for the service, fast and helpful.

Reservations for over 20 people were not taken into account, the cream sauce was bad and had to be exchanged, another one of our group was in bed with a stomach bug a day later. The service wasn't the friendliest either... all in all it wasn't what you would expect in this restaurant :-)

A beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere, lovingly and high-quality furnishings. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. We had booked the pampering board and were thrilled with the dishes at the buffet as well as the alternative dishes offered in the evening. Particularly worthy of mention is the wellness area with a warm water pool inside and outside, which is truly sensational and cannot be beaten.

Unfortunately, more appearance than reality... Because of : 1. Four people and only two were brought a menu, only when they asked were a menu brought to the other two 2. three waitresses at one table very confusing, just because of tipping. But they were friendly... 3. Prices are very high but portions are too small and in terms of taste you would expect something of a higher quality.. 4. Were only at the Design Hotel upstairs, exactly the same thing there. 5. Don't come anymore, go to the competition where the price/performance is right... it would be great if you adjusted the portions to the prices and everything else... what a shame ☹️

Stopped here for the second time in a very short time. Not only the idyllic beer garden in the back room is recommended, but also the interior rooms. The food, ambience and staff deserve top marks. Any time again and definitely not the last time!

The waiter was extremely friendly and picked up the drinks, which were then brought quickly by a waitress. The request for a senior plate was confirmed and I ordered it. The food was very tasty and served quickly too! You can also pay by card here. 👍

The restaurant is located in the center of this wonderful village, beautiful atmosphere. We tasted two typical local dishes, well prepared, good. Friendly and helpful service.

We had reserved a table for the evening and given the nice weather we got a nice table for two outside. As a starter the carpaccio was really tasty, we shared a portion. For the main course we decided on the currywurst and the Kässpätzle. The food was good, but unfortunately on our second visit the service was rather unfriendly and very reserved.

Server was miserable on arrival & didn’t greet us at the door. The grapefruit juice was off & when he was told he said it’s fresh & “it can’t be, maybe it’s your personal preference”. There was a small portion of egg being served which created a small line. Wine options were warm & no ice to chill the drinks

On the positive side: - It's very nice to sit in the old town. - The seating outside is much nicer than inside. - The food and drink was delicious. On the negative side: - We still wouldn't go here again because the service was unfortunately very unfriendly. - No “Hello” from the start, but a “Yes please??” - Furthermore, just a serious expression and no smile. - You didn't feel welcome from the start. - When I tried to explain why I understandably didn't tip, she didn't seem interested in the constructive criticism - she didn't ask for it and she didn't depend on tips. It's a shame, because we otherwise give a lot.

4 out of 5 of us ordered your cheeseburgers. They did’nt taste good - the cheese was cold, the steak had a strange taste and was completely compact, your mayo had no taste and the burger bun was not for us either. We all left almost half of the burgers. When one of the male servants came to clean up, he asked if everything had been good. We were honest and said we didn't think the burgers were good. He didn't even apologize - he just went completely silent. We then asked him about the bill. We waited over a quarter of an hour for the bill, after which we ourselves had to ask him about it again. He was repeatedly out with other drinks in the meantime and was polishing glasses in the bar. When we ask him for the bill again, he asks if his colleague hadn't brought it. Again, he doesn't apologize. In addition, the female waiters were also not that smiling. However, we were satisfied with another male waiter. He was smiling as he delivered the drinks and also managed to crack a joke. In addition, the atmosphere is good and it is a very good location in a beautiful city.

The restaurant has a higher price than usual, but it is totally worth it. The dishes are hearty and delicious. We ordered a schnitzel, a couple of barbarian sausages and the six “dinkelsbühler sausages”. I recommend all three dishes 100%. The quality-price is correct. The only downside is that it has been difficult to communicate with the waiters in English and for a hotel restaurant it is strange.

We felt completely comfortable, the staff was great, accommodating and nice. The food was delicious, the selection at the buffet (morning, lunch and evening) was very good, there was something for every taste. Overall, we really liked the hotel (including the spa and wellness area) and we will definitely come back.

We were there to have a drink and something to eat. Unfortunately the service was really unfriendly and just walked away even though you were still talking to them. The food was quite okay. I wouldn't recommend it, but everyone needs to know for themselves.

You come home and immediately feel at home. Small problems are solved very quickly, this is always done in a very friendly manner. The food was, as always, of first-class quality. The cleanliness in the hotel and in the spa is as great as the equipment. The ventilation devices give a additional security for Corona.

As long-time customers, 20 people had dinner at the Kinderzeche, there since 11:30. Delicious food and good service. At 2:00 p.m. the restaurant manager seats a table directly in front of it so that no visibility is possible. When asked, absolutely outrageous statements from the restaurant manager. Never been spoken to and treated so rudely in my life. This person is probably not suitable for the catering industry, because this will scare away long-standing guests who have left hundreds of euros behind.

Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with the service today on Kinderzech Sunday. No question, the food, the table service and the ambience are top. However, it cannot be the case that we reserve a table for 20 people (as we do every year on this day) with a beautiful view of the parade and then we are presented with a table for other guests with the statement "equal rights for everyone". Doesn't a reservation from 12 p.m. with a turnover of at least 1000 euros include exactly this privilege? It's a shame, we love being here and you normally deserve the 5☆, but today we were disappointed. Especially since the table in front of us only had 3 drinks and that came two hours later.

Restaurant with nice and fast service in English. The dishes are not big, the beer is tasty. There is a great ice cream menu. Comfortable furniture on the terrace.

The ambience inside is great, and there is also a nice outdoor area. Super nice service, good selection of food and drinks, especially cocktails and log drink fans will get their money's worth here. Food is available until after 9 p.m. and you don't have to wait long for drinks or food. By the way, there is an additional beer garden.

The women's conditions at our table were dubious and unsympathetic… The food was okay but I would have expected more after 10 minutes it was already there.

Hello friends, We were really looking forward to finally being back in Bavaria. I was particularly looking forward to the currywurst with the original house sauce. What came was a juicy surprise! Pure, pure ketchup with a tiny pinch of curry powder. Somehow “fast food and ready-made food” moderately. The service staff also fit in well. Joy, a smile or funny - none... Bavaria, where are you? 🥲 We are then looking forward to the Sepperl Wirt in 😊 Meiling. The two nights in this hotel were okay, breakfast was great until 11:00! And you can still sit outside.

We were traveling as a small group. The sundaes and lemonades/iced teas were great. However, we had to wait quite a long time before we could place our order; at 30°C you would want a cold drink quicker...

I was very happy about the large selection of vegetarian and even vegan dishes. It was really difficult to decide, everything sounded delicious. I then took the Asia Bowl - all I can say is that it was awesome! We recommend that all vegans definitely try it.

Very nice atmosphere. The service was very polite, courteous and considerate. The food is very good and it is beautifully presented. A place that invites you to linger. We love coming back again and again.

The dishes are different, the sausage salad was really TOP, rarely had such a good combination, especially the tasty bread. On the other hand, the schnitzel with fries was served quite carelessly... Unfortunately, the spelled burger was also pretty bad, very solid and no taste... and the thing was called Rustica. The fries with the cheese cream, on the other hand, were delicious...

Maiser Restaurant Cafe-restaurant in the center of Dinkelbohl on the romantic road in Germany, right next to the cathedral. A selection of dishes: soups, salads, meats, cakes and hot drinks. Special Thai soup with dried vegetables and chicken skewers, delicate and delicious white asparagus soup. The mixed meat dish was great - fillet steak, white steak, fried bacon, crispy thin onion rings. The restaurant is relatively expensive, because of the location in the center of the town.

Top location, very stylishly furnished. We didn't eat anything, but the plates that came out looked very appealing! The bar alone is stylish, and the brasserie in the next room also has a lot of charm. With a trip through Dinkelsbühl's old town, it's a really nice trip.

It was really wonderful and a wonderful experience. We enjoyed it. Keep it up... just one request: don't get any more expensive, otherwise you won't be able to afford such a beautiful experience anymore. I am aware that costs are rising, don't get me wrong. You can understand that and it's okay. Only if it becomes even more expensive will it become difficult to treat yourself to it at some point, which would be a shame if you had to do without it. It was a very nice stay except for a few details. Room, fridge not filled, no coffee maker although junior suite. There is still room for improvement at breakfast. No more strawberries, couldn't refill. No champagne, horseradish with salmon. So, as I said, it's all little things. But if you are used to staying in 4/5 star hotels, you also have slightly higher expectations! The construction site was also a bit annoying, not a great view from the sauna area. The outside area could not be seen through the construction site!

We went to Meiser for dinner. The ambience is nice and has something of a health resort hotel. The staff was very friendly and the food was unfortunately average. Had a burger that was unfortunately lukewarm and the taste was so overpowered by the mayo and ketchup that you didn't taste much. It's a shame but the service was very good.

I had the Asia Bowl, which unfortunately tasted relatively boring. The sugar snap peas were clearly overcooked (dark green and no longer crunchy), the sauce (tasted like it was in a bottle from an Asian shop) was far too dominant, the mango cubes were completely hard and sour and there were also wasabi nuts à la Ültje. The rest (mushrooms, sprouts, sushi rice) were mainly drowned in sauce and sour mango. My friend's cheese spaetzle and the service were ok - but nothing more.

Were there for Sunday breakfast. Very good selection of food for breakfast, delicious rolls and pretzels, coffee specialties, scrambled eggs, etc. Only the fruit salad was no longer refilled and the cereal bowls were only refilled upon request. Perhaps you could consider a second fully automatic coffee machine. But they're really just small things. We recommend!

If you call yourself a BAR / LOUNGE, it's not just the ambience that has to match it Actually a bar/lounge that is pleasant in the evening. But if you order a "Negroni" I don't expect any question marks from the waitress or the lady behind the counter. After both had discussed it, a folder was dug out of a drawer and an attempt was made to make a Negroni. So far so good, but after a skewer with cocktail cherries was placed on top and you had to watch the syrup drip into the Negroni, that was it. You should consider at least putting a trained SPECIALIST (bartender m/f) behind the counter
