Meiser Altstadt Brasserie in Dinkelsbühl

Wir waren zu 8 und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, hatten einen schönen Platz und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Allerdings gibt es eine Kleinigkeit, wir hatten uns vom Frühstück Buffet mehr erwartet für den Preis. Aber ansonsten wirklich sehr sehr schön.

Wir waren schon öfter hier, aber nach unserem Besuch vor einigen Wochen bleibt leider ein enttäuschter Eindruck zurück. Vom Hause Meiser bin ich eine deutlich höhere Servicequalität gewohnt, als wir sie an diesem Tag erlebt haben. Trotz ausdrücklicher Ankündigung bei der Reservierung, dass meine Tochter Geburtstag hat, wurde der Anlass vor Ort überhaupt nicht aufgegriffen. Es gab weder einen entsprechend vorbereiteten Tisch noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit, sodass sich der Aufenthalt in der Brasserie wie ein ganz gewöhnlicher Restaurantbesuch anfühlte. Um dieses Feedback konstruktiv weiterzugeben, habe ich dem Team am 04.05. eine E-Mail geschrieben. Dass darauf bis heute keinerlei Antwort oder Reaktion erfolgt ist, enttäuscht mich nun schon wieder sehr und passt einfach nicht zu dem Niveau, das man hier erwartet. Einzig unsere Bedienung Erion verdient ein ausdrückliches Lob: Er war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und absolut professionell.

Wir haben hier auf unserer Tour-"Bayr.Wald nach Franken" zu Abend gegessen, Wir hatten vorsichtshalber reserviert, es waren aber genügend freie Plätze vorhanden bei Ankunft. Leider war der Aufenthalt nicht so wie gewünscht. Die Bärlauch Nudeln meiner Frau lauwarm und fade, mein Cheeseburgerpattie zu lang in der Pfanne, zudem hatte ich den Eindruck das der Käse aus Nacho-Cheese-Dip a la Chio bestand. An der Organisation des Personals- wenn auch alle nett- ist auch noch zu Arbeiten. Fazit: Preis/Leistung viel Luft nach oben.

Ich habe das Schäufele bestellt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Soße, die geschmacklich wirklich gut war. Leider konnte das Fleisch nicht überzeugen. Es war sehr fettig, teilweise kaum essbar, nicht knusprig und insgesamt eher matschig in der Konsistenz. Gerade bei einem Schäufele hätte ich mir eine deutlich bessere Qualität und eine knusprige Kruste gewünscht. Der Knödel war akzeptabel, bietet aber ebenfalls noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Auf dem zweiten Teller gab es ein Schnitzel. Dieses war insgesamt mittelmäßig. Es war in Ordnung, konnte geschmacklich aber nicht überzeugen und blieb hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Zusätzlich waren während des gesamten Besuchs sehr viele Fliegen im Gastraum unterwegs. Für ein Restaurant ist das unangenehm und beeinträchtigt das Essenserlebnis. Hier sollte aus meiner Sicht stärker darauf geachtet werden, die Anzahl der Fliegen zu reduzieren, beispielsweise durch geeignete Maßnahmen wie Fliegenfallen oder andere wirksame Lösungen. Insgesamt war der Besuch okay, jedoch besteht insbesondere bei der Qualität der Hauptgerichte und beim Ambiente noch deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf. Ich hoffe, dass hier künftig nachgebessert wird.

Wir haben mit den Kindern drinnen ein leckeres Essen genossen. Auch der Kuchen zum Nachtisch war sehr lecker.

Schneller und zuvorkommender Service, hervorragendes Essen und – was am wichtigsten ist – die Lage mitten im Herzen der Stadt, umgeben von beeindruckender Architektur und klassisch-europäischem Flair. Einfach ein wunderbarer Ort.

Sehr schöne zentrale Lage. Leider war die Qualität des Rindergulasch mit Serviettenknödel unbefriedigend. Fleisch und Knödel waren vertrocknet und das für rund 21 €!

Ein schöner sonniger Tag mit sehr leckerem Eiskaffee, leider etwas teuerer als gedacht. Draußen könnte man gut sitzen und den Tag genießen. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen.

Einige Gerichte von der Karte von 2020 sind nicht mehr vorhanden. Es gibt keinen Burger oder Teigtaschen in vegan. Sehr schade, dass die vegane Auswahl reduziert wurde. Die Bowl war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Und kleiner Hinweis: Parmesan ist NICHT vegetarisch. Ist irreführend, aber der Hartkäse wird aus Kälberlab (Magenbestandteil von Kälber) hergestellt.

Ambiente im "Kaminzimmer", sehr schön und gemütlich. Service sehr aufmerksam, nett und zuvorkommend. Was ich leider bemängeln muss sind die Portionsgrössen. Ich z.B. hatte einen sehr leckeren Zwiebelrostbraten von dem man allerdings nicht satt werden konnte, was ich bei dem Preisniveau allerdings schon erwartet hätte. Ähnlicher Meinung waren die anderen unserer Tischrunde bezüglich ihrer Portionen.

Schönes Lokal, gemütliche und ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Suppe hat uns geschmeckt. Das Tatar war jedoch geschmacklos, und das Cordon Bleu sah aus und schmeckte wie ein Tiefkühlprodukt. Der Rest des Essens war nicht einmal durchschnittlich – es hatte einfach keinen Geschmack. Niemand hat aufgegessen.

Super leckeres Essen und guter Service, aber sehr laut. Ich hatte das Rinderfilet mit Rösti und Gemüse.

Haben uns aufgrund guter Bewertungen für das Meister A.B. entschieden und waren begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, gemütlich. Bei der Essen Wahl Wir haben uns für ein Spargelgericht entschieden mit Lachs, dieses sehr gut war und für das Rumpsteak mit Kräuterbutter ...ich war begeistert von dem Fleisch , genau auf dem Punkt gebraten , großes Kompliment an den Koch! Zum Nachtisch haben wir uns einen Kaiserschmarrn gegönnt mit Apfelmus und Vanilleeis, der K.Schmarrn war lecker das Eis ein ticken zu süß Wir können die Meister Altstadt Beasserie weiterempfehlen

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.Schnelle Bedienung und gute schwäbische Küche.

Schön dort zu Sitzen und etwas zu Trinken. Aber das Essen kommt schon kalt zum Tisch, Teller kalt und das Essen leider auch. Meine Persönliche meinung: Das Essen ist zu teuer geworden auch sollte die Steuer auf 7% sein, kommt beim Kunden leider nicht an.

Sehen und gesehen werden ist hier die Devise, was aber durchaus auch positiv zu werten ist. Immer wieder neues Interieur, hier kümmert man sich noch um seinen Auftritt und nicht nur den Auftritt der Gäste. Gastronomisch findet man stets eine sehr gute Mischung aus klassischem Essen mit einem Extra. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das Frühstück.

Ich kann zwar nur das Eis beurteilen, aber das war hausgemacht und wirklich sehr lecker. Die Karte ist überschaubar, dafür aber qualitativ überzeugend. Der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und bietet eine schöne Möglichkeit, entspannt zu sitzen.

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten bekamen wir sofort einen Platz. Sehr gutes Essen. Leider gab es diese Woche keine Tageskarte aber trotzdem findet man hier für jeden etwas.

Leider von Touristen überlaufen, da aber hier drinnen und draußen wirklich sehr viel Platz ist, verläuft sich das ganze gut. Ambiente, Service, Speisen und Getränke sind hier wirklich sehr gut und haben die 5 Sterne verdient.

Kann einfach nur 5 Sterne vergeben. Service zuvorkommend und Essen sehr lecker. Die dicken Pommes sehr lecker. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend zu zweit.

Wir waren spontan hier um Mittag zu essen, da wir schon einmal zum Frühstück da waren und das in guter Erinnerung hatten.Diemal war das Essen leider überhaupt nicht wie wir es erwartet haben. Zum einen war der überbackene Feta ein einziger Brei, überwürzt und kaum Oliven oder Paprika wie angegeben und völlig verkocht. Die Bowl meiner Frau war auch echt nicht annähernd das was man sich darunter vorstellt, verkochter Reis, wenig Gemüse, wenig Geschmack...beide Gerichte zu überhöhten Preisen. Für uns war es das letzte Mal dort, obwohl Ambiente und Personal gut sind.

Essen ist im oberen Preisniveau, die Qualität eher durchschnittlich. Sehr netter Service und wunderbar draußen zu sitzen.

Geschäftsessen - Service war sehr engagiert und freundlich, geringe Wartezeit aufs Essen, Essen kam zeitgleich. Portion war ordentlich, geschmacklich gut. Preis Leistung gut .

Bestes Restaurant in Dinkelsbühl, Gäste und Kunden werden professionell und kompetent bedient, sehr freundliches und engagiertes Bedienungspersonal, Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl umfangreich und immer OK, das alles rechtfertigt das durchaus 'grossstädtische' Preisniveau.

Den letzten Tisch am Dienstag Abend bekommen, Perfekt zubereitete Speisen, Salat, Zwiebelrostbraten und Kaiserschmarren ein absoluter Traum. Hauf Dunkel vom Fass, ebenfalls ein absoluter Volltreffer. Extrem schnelle und kompetente Bedienung, Essen für die Qualität in Rekordzeit. Typisch bayrische, jederzeit wieder !

Wunderschönes Hotel, toller Wellnessbereich, super Essen und Top Service.

Als Geburtstagsgeschenk hatten wir eine Übernachtung mit der Vollpension gebucht. Alles war wieder super, angefangen von Kaffee und Kuchen, Wellness, sehr gutes Abendmenü, sehr schönes und großes Zimmer und tolles Frühstück.

Es war wie immer ein super Aufenhalt ohne jegliche Beanstandungen, sobald man durch die Türe geht ist man Zuhause

Ein fantastischer Fund für ein Abendessen zu fünft während der Weihnachtsmärkte! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und es gab auch gute glutenfreie Optionen für unsere Tochter, die sich für den köstlichen Fisch entschied. Der Service war hervorragend und die Atmosphäre am knisternden Kaminfeuer, da es draußen bitterkalt war, machte den Abend zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Einer der besten Orte auf unserer Markttour von Frankfurt nach München.

Schönes Restaurant im Herzen der Altstadt. Wir sind das zweite Jahr in Folge hier eingekehrt, letztes Jahr haben wir im vorderen Bereich gesessen, dieses Mal im hinteren Bereich. Durch die großen Gruppen ( 26.12) war es sehr laut wie an einem Bahnhof, mit zunehmender Stunde wurde es deutlich angenehmer. Das Essen war sehr lecker ( Wild ), die angepasste Weihnachtskarte absolut ausreichend.

Besser als erwartet; tolles Wellnesshotel mit großartigem Service!

Die Menge der Portionen war eher klein. Die Männer bei uns in der Runde wurden von einer Portion nicht satt. Essen war geschmacklich ok, aber auch nicht besonders und Preise sind recht teuer. Die Location ist sehr schön, aber bei diesem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis würde ich dort nicht mehr essen gehen. Ergänzung: Meine Bewertung und die von meinem Freund wurde von Google gelöscht wegen Diffamierung. Es sagt viel über ein Restaurant aus, das gerichtlich gegen kritische Rezensionen vorgeht. Auffällig, dass es nur neuere kritische Rezensionen gibt und alle alten gelöscht wurden. Lieber mal bei TripAdvisor schauen. Nie wieder!!!

Wir waren mit der Familie dort essen. Unser Tisch befand sich im hinteren Teil des Restaurants. Es ist sehr gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ich hatte das Wildgulasch mit Knödeln und Rotkraut. Das Fleisch war zart und sehr lecker! Netter und aufmerksamer Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Simply fantastic, a very delicious breakfast

Meiser Brasserie is located right in the heart of Dinkelsbühl's beautiful old town. It's truly lovely there. We received a very friendly and warm welcome and were served quickly. We ordered the burger, but unfortunately, it wasn't to our liking, and the fries were much too thick. For €20, we expected more… But the service was excellent.

A generous breakfast buffet including drinks (water, juices, various coffee options and sparkling wine) and a "breakfast highlight" per person for €20.50 is more than fair! We'll gladly come back!

One of the best presentations of Schäufele I’ve had in Germany. They serve the delicious gravy in a separate jug, the pork skin is perfectly crispy, and the meat is incredibly tender. They’re also happy to swap the side dish to suit your preference. I’ve been to this place about three times, and the service has always been outstanding. Also, it is possible to find many different options of specialties☺️

A fantastic experience in the heart of Dinkelsbühl's old town. We especially recommend the side salad and the shoulder of pork. The dark sauce for the shoulder of pork was particularly skillful and passionately prepared. Various regional beers also round out the experience.

We ordered shoulder of pork with bread dumplings and a side salad. They were served immediately after placing our orders, so they were already prepared. The crust was flabby, but the meat was tender, although it could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The bread dumplings started out quite good, but as the meal progressed, they became dry and tough. The sauce was massively skimped on. Half the meal ended up being dry. Reordering wasn't possible because the staff rushed past us, ignoring us. We liked the salad dressing, but it was already wilted. All in all, the value for money is absolutely not good.

Hello everyone, we're not people who complain about little things, but here's a point deduction... As already mentioned, there were silverfish in the room. We also had to have the package we booked corrected. We had booked the Imperial Bath, but we would have received the water massage, but it was corrected immediately. On the second evening, we were supposed to have the Romantic 5-course menu, but we had to complain to the restaurant about it, which was also resolved immediately. The organization isn't entirely perfect. But overall, it was a very nice stay, and we hope that this criticism won't be taken harshly, but rather as an incentive to do better. With that in mind, thank you to the Meiser team.

We ate there twice and were always served courteously and quickly. The food was very good; we enjoyed it. There's something for everyone in terms of price, although it must be said that the overall price is on the higher side.

This restaurant is definitely worth recommending – I would love to come back!

Delicious Sachertorte and Caffe Crema.

Despite the truly excellent and always friendly service, which I have to emphasize each time, the food has unfortunately always disappointed me on our several visits. Last time, I ordered the vegetable curry (€18.90). Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations at all: instead of a creamy sauce, there was only a thin broth in which the vegetables disappeared. The promised coconut milk was neither visible nor tasted. The rice in particular, but also the vegetables themselves, tasted rather bland. Also disappointing were the baked potatoes with sour cream and herb dip for €12.80. For that price, we only received four very simple baked potatoes with no additional seasoning and a very basic dip. Here, the potatoes could have been cooked with herbs, for example, to add more flavor. Apart from the main courses, however, I enjoy coming here for a coffee or the white hot chocolate. Ultimately, I unfortunately can't give it a positive overall rating. For me, the main focus of a restaurant should be the food, and the vegetarian main courses are completely unworthy of the price in terms of taste, quality, and preparation. Therefore, I give them 2.3 out of 5 stars.

Stopped for an espresso while cycling through. I ordered two espressos and, while waiting outside, noticed the price on the menu: €3.80 for one espresso – dear owners, that's extortionate/a rip-off. The friendly waiter had a few explanations ready, but they didn't really disguise the fact that it was absolutely above average. I've lived in Munich for 15 years – I'd say I've never seen that price here before. Not even at cafés that rely on this (espresso and other coffee specialties). And it wasn't even the best espresso in town. (And yes, sorry, I'm only rating the espresso price here.)

First, the positives. The server was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. The food, however, was unfortunately below average. We tried the burgers. With a €20 burger, you expect fresh quality, but you're disappointed. When I asked, the server told me that the patties are pre-cooked in the morning and then simply reheated. That's exactly how it tastes. They also serve fake processed cheese. The portions are large, but you don't really want to eat more than half the burger anyway because of the lack of flavor and quality.

Service was very nice and friendly. Breakfast had a large selection and was very tasty.

Overall, I felt very comfortable at the Meiser SPA Resort :-) I just found it odd that, as a hotel guest, you have to pay the full €39 for the pool/spa if you arrive about two hours before 3:00 PM, when your room isn't ready yet? It was intended to bridge the waiting time until you could check into your room. Personally, I find this unacceptable.

The service and the food: highly recommended. Unfortunately, we had to contend with a lot of flies on and around our food. Unfortunately, there were no shady tables available outside. I can't say where all the flies were coming from. Perhaps the waiter should have closed the window. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish our meal.

Fantastically lovely place, where hospitality, service, comfort and well-being shine through at the Meiser hotel. Great rooms and beautiful surroundings, the hotel offers many experiences within the well-appointed interior of the house. Pool, Spa & Wellness are outstanding and top notch.

Three of us went out to eat today. First of all, if I could give zero stars, I would. First the waitress said if we order in the next 5 minutes we would still get something to eat. Yes, that's exactly what she said. Then you have to quickly glance at the menu. We ordered within the stated time. The starter was brought to us and it took exactly 10 minutes. We had beef carpaccio, schnitzel with fries, turkey steak with tagliatelle and roast beef with onions and all of this in 10 minutes 🤨 never. But to be honest, that's what it tasted like. The carpaccio was totally watery, the schnitzel had no seasoning and was at most half a centimeter thick, frozen and from the deep fryer. And the highlight was the roast beef with onions, it was a complete disaster. It was anything but roast beef with onions. Absolutely bad and at most 150 grams. 6 cm by 10 cm and 1 cm thick. So, for that, we're counting 104 euros. I find it cheeky and impertinent. It's probably delicious somewhere else, too.

The food tasted good...somewhat similar to frozen goods from a wholesale store. The wait time for drinks was over 15 minutes...alcoholic drinks over 30 minutes (according to the waitress). We left without a second round of drinks.

I was here for the Kinderzeche, and despite the stress, Marcel was so on point. I didn't have to wait long and was always well-served. The food was always on point.

Absolutely terrible service. We waited over 30 minutes just to get water, and the staff acted like we were an inconvenience the entire time. Our server was rude, inattentive, and messed up our order without apologizing. The food finally came cold, and we couldn’t even get anyone’s attention to fix it. Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Would not recommend.

It's located in the centre of Dinkelbuhls. There is also a biergarden. The service was excellent, very friendly. The place is nice and the food is good.

Great service and atmosphere. Good location and general vibe. The desserts we ordered were not what we expected. Can’t say I’d order it ever again. They are not horrible but very basic and not great taste at all.

The decor is very good and quaintly cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was there with my group and had coffee and cake that was very tasty 😋 and our requests were met. The only thing that concerns the restrooms is that they are clean, but the smell is... ventilation should have reduced the smell, but unfortunately that isn't the case. Unfortunately, there's a very unpleasant smell in the men's restroom 🚽 Otherwise, everything was great.

Great as always; perfect service; the food, i.e., the selection and quality, is even better than the last two times; We always feel great and can recharge our batteries for the next few weeks of work!

Wonderfully relaxing and luxurious overnight stay.

Friendly welcome – we had reserved a table, but it wasn't listed anywhere – it can happen – but we were still politely assigned a table. The server who was in charge of our table was extremely rude, and it seemed like it hurt her to smile, which is why she never smiled or even looked at us in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, my food didn't taste good the first time (although the server blamed me for it, saying I should have ordered something differently – even though there were no ordering options). When it came back 15 minutes later, it was okay. But I don't need to go out to eat to get an "okay" rating. We were friendly to the server at all times and definitely expected the same in return. At times, we felt very uncomfortable due to this unfriendly treatment. However, we noticed that this lady was so unfriendly to all the guests – she rolled her eyes quickly, was impatient during the ordering process, etc. It's okay and understandable when a restaurant is busy and you have to deal with unpleasant guests. However, when you encounter friendly guests, you should definitely be friendly as well. If all service staff were like that, the restaurant industry would be lost...

Food is fine, waitress (with lots of make-up and lipstick) very unfriendly and haughty. Too bad for the experience. Would choose another more cozy restaurant in this nice village :)

This hotel is a gem for unwinding your soul and a treat for your palate. We can only recommend it wholeheartedly. If you're also a wellness fan, then there's nothing like a few days' relaxation there.

Amazing staff, beautiful decor, fast service. Tried the ‘6 Dinkelsbühler Rostbrateurste’ since it was highlighted on the menu. It is beautifully presented, but it didn’t have much flavour. The bread it came with was excellent. Maybe try a different item on the menu.
