We were looking for a quaint restaurant with regional cuisine. We couldn't have found a better place. Welcoming hosts, friendly guests, and a cozy dining room. As for the food: The cooking is done with passion. The Schäuferle (pork shoulder) with dumplings and red cabbage in a delicious sauce was outstanding. Just like your mother's, you can't get a better compliment. A reservation is highly recommended. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The food is super delicious! The portions are large!

We ordered shoulder of pork with bread dumplings and a side salad. They were served immediately after placing our orders, so they were already prepared. The crust was flabby, but the meat was tender, although it could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The bread dumplings started out quite good, but as the meal progressed, they became dry and tough. The sauce was massively skimped on. Half the meal ended up being dry. Reordering wasn't possible because the staff rushed past us, ignoring us. We liked the salad dressing, but it was already wilted. All in all, the value for money is absolutely not good.

We went here for dinner. The pasta with Gorgonzola sauce was excellent—creamy, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. The service staff was also very friendly and attentive. The prices are comparatively reasonable for Dinkelsbühl. Highly recommended!
