Giorgia Trattoria in München

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant direkt am S-Bahn-Ausgang Rosenheimer Platz. Die Inneneinrichtung ist farbenfroh und einladend. Die Terrasse unter den Bäumen bleibt selbst an heißen Tagen angenehm kühl. Fünf Sterne für den Service von Marco und Fabio! Das Essen war gut und schmackhaft, und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm. Obwohl wir einen Tisch drinnen reserviert hatten, war es am Nachmittag sehr heiß, und man kam unserem Wunsch freundlicherweise nach und ließ uns auf der Terrasse Platz nehmen, wo es kühler war.

Ein absolutes Highlight! 🇮🇹 Eine wunderschöne, besondere Location mit einer unglaublich entspannten und fast schon familiären Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen – genau so stellt man sich eine echte Trattoria italiana vor. Der Service war einfach on point: herzlich, aufmerksam und trotzdem angenehm unaufdringlich. Die Burrata als Vorspeise war hervorragend und die Trüffelpasta war einfach der Wahnsinn – geschmacklich ein absolutes Highlight! Wer hier essen möchte, sollte unbedingt reservieren, denn so ein Restaurant spricht sich völlig zu Recht herum. Für uns ganz klar: 5 Sterne und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Absolute Tragödie Das Essen hat nicht mal gut geschmeckt. Wir waren zu zweit und haben ca. 50 Minuten auf eine Vorspeise gewartet, die am Ende auch nicht fertig gekocht war. Für die Zubereitung einer Pizza hat das Restaurant 1 Stunde gebraucht.

Das Essen war schlecht und ich war sehr verärgert. Die Tryffel-Pasta wurde in einem Topf serviert, der nach Aluminium und Metall schmeckte. Die Pasta schmeckte wie Fertiggericht. Ich mache selbst bessere Pasta aus der Packung. Ich kann dieses Restaurant definitiv nicht empfehlen, obwohl es von außen nett aussieht. Niemand fragte, ob es geschmeckt hat. Ich glaube, sie wussten, dass es schlecht war. Die Bedienung verlor nach dem Essen jegliches Interesse am Service. Anfangs waren sie sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant ist schön, aber das Essen nicht. Lesen Sie die Bewertungen! Es gibt viele Kommentare und ähnliche Erfahrungen wie meine. Das Restaurant antwortet immer: „Danke für den Kommentar; wir arbeiten an Verbesserungen.“ Ich muss sagen, dass sich, den Kommentaren und meiner eigenen Erfahrung nach zu urteilen, nichts geändert hat. Es sind nur leere Worte. Ich glaube, sie haben die guten Bewertungen selbst geschrieben.

Hervorragender Service von Emiliano

Ich bin extrem enttäuscht vom Essen, und ich merke, dass ich nicht die Einzige bin. Die Pasta wurde in einem Topf mit zerkratzter Oberfläche serviert; sie schmeckte wie Campingessen. Die Trüffelpasta war verkocht, die Portion winzig und sie hatte einen metallischen, aluminiumartigen Geschmack. Die Bedienung war freundlich, als sie uns zu unserem Tisch führte, aber danach kümmerte sie sich überhaupt nicht mehr um uns. Niemand fragte, ob es uns geschmeckt hatte. Sie wussten sicherlich selbst, dass das Essen schlecht war. Es wirkte, als wollten sie uns nur so schnell wie möglich loswerden. Das Lokal war zwar schön, aber als jemand, der selbst kocht, könnte ich mit einer Fertigmahlzeit aus dem Supermarkt ein besseres Gericht zubereiten. Auf jede negative Nachricht antworten sie mit: „Vielen Dank, wir werden Ihr Feedback weiterleiten und Verbesserungen vornehmen.“ Das stimmt nicht, denn offensichtlich hat sich nichts geändert. Ich schreibe selten Bewertungen, aber ich möchte nicht, dass andere dieselbe Erfahrung machen: ein Fertiggericht, serviert in einem Campingtopf.

Alles in allem ein mittelmäßiges Erlebnis, was man von Restaurants der Big Mamma-Gruppe aber erwarten kann. Positiv: Service und Personal, keine Beanstandungen. Auch die Inneneinrichtung, wenn man so etwas mag – ich persönlich nicht. Negativ: Das Essen ist in diesen Big Mamma-Restaurants nie wirklich gut. Die Vorspeisen sind okay, aber das Ragout, das wir als Hauptgericht hatten, schmeckte wie Pasta mit einer dünnen Tomatensoße. Jeder Hobbykoch könnte ein viel besseres Ragout zubereiten. Am schlimmsten: Leute, die diesen Ort als Instagram-Ziel und nicht als Restaurant nutzen. In einem Restaurant möchte ich ungestört auf die Toilette gehen können, ohne warten zu müssen, bis Leute mit ihrem Fotoshooting auf der Treppe fertig sind. Ich möchte nicht auf Selfies von rücksichtslosen und unhöflichen Leuten zu sehen sein, während ich auf der Toilette bin. Ich verstehe, dass die Leute angeben wollen, dass sie dort waren, aber es darf nicht so sein, dass andere Gäste behindert werden oder dass es in den Toiletten erlaubt ist.

Wir waren heute anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstags im Giorgia und hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Mittag. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Speisen waren fantastisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch die Cocktails waren hervorragend und haben das Mittagessen perfekt abgerundet. Ein besonderes Lob geht an unseren Kellner Marco. Er war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und hat unseren Hochzeitstag zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Besonders schön fanden wir auch, dass das Personal Italienisch spricht. Dadurch entsteht eine authentische Atmosphäre, bei der man sich fühlt, als wäre man direkt in Italien. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!! 🩷🩷🩷

Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen, definitiv ein Hingucker! Man zahlt jedoch nur für das Ambiente… Das Essen konnte uns leider überhaupt nicht überzeugen, die Pizzen waren zu dick belegt und der Boden dadurch viel zu eingeweicht.

Over the years, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. For example, the risotto has become too watery and the pizzas are no longer good. The only things that are still good are the appetizers. Despite this, the prices are still high given the quality of the dishes. What a shame!

A vibrant restaurant with fantastic food! The restaurant's colorful design instantly lifts your spirits. Even the restrooms are a real highlight and perfectly complement the unique style. The staff is consistently friendly and makes you feel welcome. The food is absolutely delicious – every dish was a highlight. However, you should definitely book well in advance, as it's almost always fully booked. The seating is a bit cramped, but thanks to the lovely atmosphere and excellent service, this hardly matters. Overall, a highly recommended place for a wonderful evening!

At the end of dinner, our server asked me to only submit a 5-star review with his name. He was friendly and I probably would've given 4 stars overall for the food and service, but explicitly pushing us to post a google review before leaving the restaurant drops it to 2 stars. It made an expensive dinner feel cheap. Not a good habit Giorgia.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this pizzeria. My expectations weren't particularly high, but even those weren't met. The pizza was really bland – the dough was dry, the toppings were haphazardly arranged, and overall it lacked freshness. The portion size was also disproportionate to the price. Furthermore, I had to wait considerably longer than I would have expected given the relatively small number of customers. The service wasn't unfriendly, but it was very inattentive. I had to ask for help several times because nothing was offered automatically. The atmosphere in the restaurant also felt somewhat chaotic and uninviting. Overall, the visit was disappointing. I hope the restaurant works on its quality and organization, because as it stands, I unfortunately cannot recommend it.

The restaurant is utterly average, and I personally would rate the value for money as inadequate. Upon entering, you find yourself in a kind of anteroom with a heating fan. The warm air is stuffy, and I found it very unpleasant to be greeted like that. A woman with a tablet in her hand inquired about our reservation and asked us to come in. We would have gladly done so, had a "Please wait to be seated" sign not completely blocked the way to the dining room. Once you've somehow managed to navigate around the sign and are allowed into the dining room, you're almost overwhelmed by the opulent and colorful decor. Admittedly, that's a matter of taste, but you get the distinct impression that everything is geared towards "Instagrammable" interior design; which brings us to my next point of criticism: The pseudo-hip clientele is constantly on their phones, taking photos incessantly, and, personally, I find them unpleasant company. The tables are also packed quite closely together (unfortunately a typical Munich problem), and you get the "pleasure" (NOT!) of hearing the "earth-shattering" problems of your table neighbors served up piping hot. Now to the service: The waiter greets you in English – and despite all the love for an international flair and clientele, this is simply inappropriate in a restaurant with an Italian focus. Overall, however, the service is friendly, unobtrusive, and courteous. The food, as mentioned at the beginning, is solid, but far from a culinary highlight. What goes in must come out, and so I went to the restroom. The memory of it is truly disgusting, because it was the most revolting thing I've experienced in a long time: Let's just say the floor was quite wet, and judging by the smell, it wasn't just water. Back in the dining room, we asked for the bill and were kindly asked to vacate the table in four minutes because the next customers were already waiting, and all I can say is: "Nothing I'd like more – and now let's get out of here quickly."

I want to start by saying that the scampi pasta was extremely disappointing. The scampi weren’t even whole pieces, and this should definitely be mentioned on the menu. For a dish advertised as “scampi pasta,” this was far below expectations. The panna cotta was also very bad. It didn’t resemble a classic panna cotta at all - it looked and tasted more like a yogurt with fruit on top. Definitely not what you’d expect when ordering a traditional dessert. Overall, save your money and go somewhere else. There are plenty of places that offer much better quality for the same price.

Ambience is very well. We went there for my husband's birthday, unfortunately no privacy very noisy. You can here from other table what people are talking. I was fully disappointed. Food is good but not like everytime i should go and eat

We had a table for 2:00 PM. Until 2:25 PM, no one even asked what we wanted to drink. Absolutely unacceptable! The place wasn't even full, and there were plenty of servers. The truffle pasta was far too dry; at €25 per person, it wasn't good value for money. The taste, however, was okay. No one checked in between meals to see if everything was alright or if we wanted to order more cocktails or wine. No one even refilled the water in the bottles we'd ordered. After we finished eating, the servers walked past our table countless times. No reaction. After half an hour, we asked them to clear the table, and WE then asked if we could order dessert. Seriously, what kind of place is this??? The tiramisu is just cream—sure, it keeps much longer and is cheaper than mascarpone. But again, a no-go. Payment is then processed very quickly via app—perfect, since no one from the staff has to bother coming back to the table…

The arancini were firm on the outside and grainy and soft on the inside, but I felt they lacked seasoning. The pizza dough was thin and the tomato sauce was fresh. The buffalo mozzarella was also fresh and good. The profiteroles were very good; they were filled with ice cream and differed from the usual recipe. The sauce was perfect. The dough was thin and fresh.

Fantastic food, best pasta I’ve had in Germany and our waiter, Emiliano is simply a star — the most attentive and charming person around. Although I have to say, the whole team is amazing. You really feel welcomed and well fed — like in South Italy! 😊👌🏼

Six of us made a reservation and went for dinner. It was visually impressive and delicious. We had truffle pizza, truffle pasta, two parmesan pastas, one spaghetti (1 meter long), and one bee cheese pizza. The prices were a bit high for the portions, and all the food could have been hotter. The presentation and plates were nice. Our experience was okay.

Food was quite good and the decor/ambience is a treat to experience. Unfortunately the service my party had was very poor. We had no one attend to our table for the first half hour we were seated and did not receive any food for at least 45 minutes. We then wanted to order some dessert after our mains, but when we tried to order, our waiter simply said I’ll come back. No one ever came back and we decided to just pay the bill online and leave. Really disappointing especially seeing other tables receive much better service while ours seemed to be ignored by all the waiters. Unfortunately a poor experience overall despite the solid food and nice atmosphere

A fantastic evening! 🥰 Beautiful ambiance. The cocktails were delicious. The appetizer (Burata) and the main course (truffle pasta) were both 100% recommended. I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The gentleman who served us was very attentive and professional. We'll definitely be back when we're in Munich again.

Emiliano was a great host. The restaurant is very close to the Ostbahnhof. Easy to reach by car or public transport. It's colorful internal design and mirror coated ceiling separates it from the other restaurants in town. The truffle pasta is something to try.

I've heard mixed reviews about Gigi Trattoria. I have to say, the presentation is aesthetically superb. It's beautifully done. However, a major drawback for me is the apparent permanent artificial shortage of tables. When I was there, it was the last table of the day, but the restaurant was only about 50 percent full all evening. Unfortunately, the menus are only available digitally. The restrooms are very photogenic. The food is okay, but far too overpriced and nothing special. There's better pizza in Munich, but everything looks incredibly aesthetically pleasing.
