ECHTES ITALIENISCH. Von Italienern gekocht, gegessen wie ein Italiener. Authentischer geht es in München nicht. Die Küche spricht für sich. Einen Moment lang dachte ich wirklich, ich wäre zurück in Mailand, und in dieser Sommerhitze 2026 fühlte es sich absolut authentisch an. Guten Appetit! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. Ein echter Geheimtipp, der 5 Sterne verdient.

Guter Italiener, Gerichte waren alle sehr lecker, besonders auch die gemischte Nachtischplatte die wir auf Nachfrage bekamen. Sehr gute Tageskarte, Fisch im Salzmantel, Kaninchen, verschiedene Pasta usw. Preis/Leistung für die abgelieferte Leistung absolut ok. Auch die Getränkepreise fair. Gerne wieder.

Gutes Essen und flotter & freundlicher Service gerne wieder einmal

Neue/Alte Pächter seit April. (Waren früher schon einmal Gastgeber im Restaurant) Die Karte hat auch besondere Gerichte, wie Kaninchen oder Perlhuhnbrust. Die Saucen dazu sind das I-Tüpfelchen. Toller Service und schöner, ruhiger Gastgarten. Wir kommen wieder!

Auf Empfehlung einer Freundin waren wir im Kurfürst Maximilian La Trattoria by Giovanni direkt an der U-Bahn-Haltestelle Gern. Wir wollten den Tag entspannt bei einem guten italienischen Abendessen ausklingen lassen. Da das Wetter noch schön mild war, haben wir uns natürlich für einen Platz draußen entschieden. Die Atmosphäre war einfach herrlich. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns das Personal: Die Bedienungen waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auch bei der Geschwindigkeit gab es nichts zu meckern. Die Gerichte kamen zügig an den Tisch, was bei unserem Hunger genau richtig war. Wir hatten: • Einen frischen, knackigen gemischten Salat vorab. • Als Hauptgänge eine Tagliatelle Bolognese und eine Pinsa Speciale. Beides war geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut. Weil es so gut war, konnten wir einem Tiramisu zum krönenden Abschluss dann auch nicht widerstehen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Familie mit drei Kindern plus halbe Familie mit zwei Kindern: Nicht Familien- und/oder kinderfreundlich. Sichtlich nervöser, angespannter und kontrollierender Kellner. keine italienische Leichtigkeit mehr wie früher. Preise für die gleich gebliebene hohe Qualität mittlerweile zu hoch. Was ist passiert?

Ein super Lokal. Lugana ist sehr empfehlenswert. Und das Essen ist super lecker. Der Biergarten hat uns total überzeugt. Danke für den schönen Nachmittag. Wir kommen wieder.

Von der Atmosphäre ein typischer Italiener für München. Vor allem der Antonio, die Seele des Lokals. Kulinarisches verwöhnen, ohnegleichen.

Antonio ist ein souveräner Kellner, der jeder Situation gewachsen ist. Den Gästen gegenüber ist er von angenehmer Höflichkeit. Die Atmosphäre in der Trattoria wird durch ihn positiv geprägt.

This time, it wasn't a good fit for me. The wait for the food was very long; other tables got their food first. The meat wasn't tender, but cooked to death. Overall, a disappointing, stressful lunch break instead of a pleasant meal with a business partner.

Super nice Italian restaurant with attentive service and delicious food

Good food, reasonable prices. Very loud. I also found one bottle of water too many on the bill I had just picked up. With three guests at our table and a modest amount of consumption, I can't accept it as an oversight. My mistake for not checking right away. But for me, it's a reason to avoid this restaurant in the future. It's a shame that you can't get anywhere without checking. This isn't the first time I've experienced this.

Chic restaurant with a lovely ambiance, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine for Munich, and I can highly recommend the spaghetti carbonara.

A trattoria with elegant use of wood and decorated with interesting advertising signs. I had spaghetti alla amatriciana (€13.50), delicious, although overly salty. Very professional and prompt service. The bread and olives as an appetizer are a house touch.

A wonderfully familiar atmosphere where you can quickly feel at home. The feeling of "I'm in the right place" is - to a large extent - due to the chrismatic, knowledgeable and very attentive staff. They recognize your wishes from the smallest gestures, react confidently but never intrusively and show great expertise when it comes to wine and fires. The kitchen has never disappointed us; The small but fine menu also fulfills exquisite taste nuances. Even if the store is full, you can still find a corner where you can sit and eat. Has become our regular place.

The place is peculiar. The service was very friendly, they made an effort to speak with us in Spanish and the waitress was very attentive to us as well as the rest of the diners. I hadn't been to this long-lasting Italian restaurant for quite some time before rediscovering it a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have been enjoying three evenings there with family & friends and we were always concordantly delighted: delicious food and totally lovely service lead by the charming Sizilian maestro of the house. Many dishes on the menu are recommendable - but I cannot praise enough the staggering fish soup, the truffle specialities or the crusty Pinze Romane. The rather casual ambiance is another plus but you are well-advised to always reserve a table up-front as this place is loved by a lot of people. Alla prossima! 🦐🍾🌟

I know this place from before, when I lived nearby. My visit on Saturday met and even exceeded all expectations. There were 7 of us women and we got a perfect table in a booth so we could have a good chat even though the place was full. The service is excellent: very friendly, fast and all orders at the same time without delays. Not everyone can do it, really great. The food tasted really good, was prepared to perfection and was served hot. Very aromatic and fine. The prices are absolutely fair. Best food, friendly atmosphere! Best food in Munich

We have been coming regularly on a Sunday during Advent for many years. The food and service were first class as always. A downside is the somewhat sparse lighting. The atmosphere certainly wouldn't suffer if you could read the menu more clearly.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder im "Kurfürst Maximilian" gegessen und erfreulich eindeutig überzeugt worden! Vorspeise und Pasta hervorragend, Service freundlich, kompetent und flexibel! Ist wahrscheinlich nicht der günstigste Italiener im Viertel, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Gerne wieder...!

Und mal wieder ein Zufallsfund. Wir haben noch keine bessere venezianische Leber gegessen in München. Aber auch die Pasta war perfekt. Man wähnt sich zwar in einem bayerischen Wirtshaus - also des Ambientes wegen - ist aber hübsch. Und der Service war auch gut, freundlich und kompetent. 4,5 damit 5 Sterne

Authentische italienische Küche, feine Pizzen und ein mächtiger Insalata de la Casa. Gerrankepreise fair, (Kinder)freundliches Service. Kein Wickeltisch, dafür eine Ecke im Gastraum innen.

Wir gehen nun schon einige Jahre ins Maximilian und sind immer rundum zufrieden, wenn wir das Restaurant verlassen :) Super freundlicher sowie aufmerksamer Service, top Qualität bei den Speisen. Raffinierte wechselnde Gerichte in der Wochenkarte. Chef Florian und Serviceleitung Angelo inkl. restlichem Team geben sich sehr viel Mühe alle Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Hier wird mit Leichtigkeit, Spaß und Amore gearbeitet. Es gibt sehr viele Stammgäste, was ebenfalls für sich spricht. Vielen Dank!

Fazit: Unfreundliche, fast arrogante Bedienung. Die Bedienung hat nach einer offensichtlich missverstandenen Bestellung (es kam statt der bestellten Pinsa mit Trüffel eine Pizza(!) mit Carpaccio(!) - und die war auch noch kalt!!!) unmöglich reagiert, und fing an, zu diskutieren, um Recht haben zu wollen, anstatt auf die Bedürfnisse des Gastes (im Fall der falsch servierten Pizza war das meine Frau) einzugehen. Das hat leider das ganze Abendessen stimmungsmäßig getrübt, obwohl die Pizzen (zumal, wenn sie warm gewesen wären) nicht schlecht waren. Aber eine war hat falsch und kalt. Und die Bedienung war schon fast arrogant. Wir waren das erste, und wohl auch das letzte mal dort...

Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal und natürlich eine hauchdünne Pizza, fein belegt. Sehr zu empfehlen.
