Food, service and location very good. Points deducted because of pizza box with Bundeswehr advertising. So, to be honest, I don't want to see any advertising for war when I eat or take away pizza...absolutely no go!

Unfortunately, the egg in the carbonara was fully cooked and closer to a scrambled egg than real carbonara.

All in all not bad, pizza and drinks were good. One star deducted because it's too loud and big for me personally and I also think there are better Italians in the corner. But that is more of a personal preference. The service was good, definitely recommended to go there.

Stopped in for dinner at short notice, no problem with space after 9 p.m., food came quickly, service was nice, I'd be happy to come back.

Food was good (Spicy Spaghetti Al Olio, Pizza Regina with fresh mushrooms) The price is clearly excessive, the ambience is nothing special but not disturbing either. Service was very attentive and very nice, but had major problems with the language (German, English). You can do it, but there are better things for the money (but also worse ones)

The restaurant exceeded expectations, perfect location (in the city center),cozy environment, attentive waiters, and most importantly delicious food, I was with friends and we were all satisfied, we tried pizza Caprese, Diavola, Pasta Napoli and Tagliolini with truffle. I recommend everyone to come to this extraordinary place, you will not regret it.

Authentic Italian restaurant with excellent service and exquisite food, we had lasagna and carbonara and we liked it so much that we decided to try their bolognese and pizzas the next day. The dishes are generous in quantity and the pizza is a size to share between two. Delicious tiramisu and panacotta The price is quite moderate for the excellent quality of the dishes.

We were in a large group of 42 people who sat outside and watched the Germany game against Switzerland. The service was very attentive and the food came quickly despite the rush. It also tasted good. I then left my wallet with some cash and debit card lying there. I was able to pick everything up the next day. Nothing was missing. I am so grateful the staff are very honest. That night, Eibe received an email from the organizer saying that a wallet had been found. This saved me worries and stress.

The food came within 5 minutes. The taste of the carbonara was inedible and the temperature also suggested that it was frozen food (extremely hot on one side and almost frozen on the other). The waiter wasn't particularly polite either. Would never go there again.

I went there with little expectation and was still disappointed. A typical tourist trap that you shouldn't fall for. I didn't have much time and thought I might get something good to eat but that wasn't the case. The carbonara was pure horror. I don't recommend anyone place to anyone!!!

Very good food and friendly service. The calamari in the pasta sauce was buttery and the pizza was good too. The service was very attentive and warm!

Favorite Italian. In addition to an extensive and delicious season menu, there are changing seasonal offers. The service is always good, quick and attentive. Viva Maria is also open late during the week. We go to the cinema, theater or something and the kitchen is still open.

Food and location is great. Staff young, friendly and attentive. All in all highly recommended will definitely come back!!

Authentic Italian restaurant in the middle of Munich. The food is always fresh, the service from Maria and her team is always courteous and the atmosphere is very authentic. As a long-time and satisfied regular guest, I can only warmly recommend this restaurant for business and private meetings.

Because of the good reviews, we reserved a table at Viva Maria one evening during our Munich vacation. The ambience looked very cozy in the pictures, but when we arrived we noticed that it was more of a large hall that was nicely furnished but rather uncomfortable and loud. However, what bothered us the most was the service. We constantly had the feeling that we were being fobbed off as quickly as possible. It started with the waiter asking to place our order because there was a group of about 10 people at the next table and it could take longer. You can ignore that, that's okay. After the food was served within 5 minutes, the waiter started clearing the table while we were still partly eating. When I pointed out that we would still eat, he replied "everything is fine" and continued to clear away the food. At the next table I also observed the clearing up. A no-go! In addition, there was neither a bit of bread etc. beforehand (which is always common in Italian restaurants) nor was there a question about espresso, dessert, etc. after the meal. The food (pasta and pizza) was unfortunately just okay, not bad, but nothing special that would make it worth eating out. When we go out to eat, we want to have a good time, which unfortunately we didn't have here. The main contributing factor was the service, which we didn't like here at all. In addition, another employee was walking behind the counter in shabby pants and a faded sweater, which also seemed rather unprofessional to me. Therefore, unfortunately only two stars.

Pizza and pasta were very good. The service was friendly, just a bit overwhelmed as there was a large group. The ambience is appealing.

The restaurant is wonderfully furnished and you can sit very nicely and relaxed. The service was OK. We were a little disappointed with the food. The spinach ricotta tortellini were not homemade and the sage butter did not taste like sage. The dish was accordingly very boring. The truffle tagliatelle was good, the carbonara (tossed in a parmesan wheel!) was also ok.

Avoid the italian starter plate. Just a bunch of stuff put together without any taste. Also acoid the pizzas - nothing special at all. Other than that I can’t comment, this was my dinner. I would not return, it’s not a really good italian experience.

Perfektes italienisches Essen. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Grappa

Sehr gutes Essen, nettes Personal und Ambiente. Gehe gerne wieder mal hin! Die Preise sind unter Berücksichtigung der aktuellen Entwicklungen durchaus erträglich und nicht teurer als bei anderen Italienern. 22,- für ein Steak mit Gemüsebeilage ist sehr gut! Ergänzung: immer noch hervorragend!

We tried a salad, spaghetti pesto and risotto with shrimps. For dessert we had the profiterol and tiramisu. The spaghetti and risotto were excellent. Nice atmosphere and very nice service. The desserts however were not good.

Das Essen war Klasse, allerdings war der Service, also auch die Küche, komplett überfordert. Obwohl der Laden nicht vollbesetzt war, musste wir weit über eine 3/4 Stunde auf eine Pizza warten. Die war dann Klasse, was wieder etwas versöhnt. Nett eingerichtet, die Stühle laden nicht zu längerem Verweilen ein. Terrasse vorhanden, auch preislich absolut ok. Kartenzahlung möglich.

Looking for the restaurant open on sunday, the place was nice and cozy, reasonable price, will be back again next time.

Wir waren als größere Gruppe da und waren die Einzigen im ganzen Restaurant, was vielleicht auch daran lag, dass wir erst nach der Mittagszeit dort waren. Dennoch schien es uns doch komisch, dass an einem Sonntag das Lokal komplett leer war. Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Das Essen war nicht so super meines Erachtens nach, die Pizzen hatten viel zu viel Käse drauf und haben nicht ‚typisch italienisch‘ geschmeckt. Der ‚Parmesan‘ für die Pasta hat nach nichts geschmeckt, vor allem nicht nach Parmesan. Ich hatte schon oft Parmesan zu Pasta, aber so etwas hatte ich noch nie. Daher ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis meiner Meinung nach nicht gut, ich würde nicht nochmal kommen, da gibt es deutlich bessere Pizzerien in München. Das Ambiente und das Lokal an sich waren jedoch schön und trotz dem mäßigen Essen konnten wir eine schöne Zeit haben.

Nice place! I enjoyed Spaghetti Aglio olio and our friends ordered a variety of pizzas. The service was good and the orders didn't take too long. The pizza could have been a bit warmer. Good seating and friendly staff.

Ich war hier vor kurzem zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen. Das Lokal ist gross und hat auch eine große Aussenterrasse. Das Ambiente liegt zwischen Wirtshaus und Trattoria und ist dezent dekoriert. Man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl. Das Essen war super. Der Service war aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich. Die Preise liegen im üblichen Rahmen. Ich kann dieses Lokal weiterempfehlen.

Le restaurant se situe dans une zone assez calme avec un quartier au style assez ancien. La nourriture était bonne et le service agréable. Super pour passer une agréable soirée en terrasse.

Nettes italienisches Lokal. Mit Münchener Preisen muss aber auch hier rechnen.
