Viva Maria Restaurant Pizzeria in München

Über Wolt bestellt - die Pizza kam eiskalt an und die Spaghetti Bolognese haben qualitativ und geschmacklich eher nach Supermarkt Soße geschmeckt. Mit authentisch italienischer Küche hat das leider nicht wirklich was zu tun.

Ein nettes kleines italienisches Restaurant, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Alles war gut, aber nichts stach wirklich heraus: Es fehlte dem Ganzen etwas an Charakter und Geschmack. Die Pilz-Trüffel-Pizza schmeckte kaum nach Trüffel, was enttäuschend war. Die Carbonara war sehr cremig, aber die Pasta war leider verkocht. Der Wein schmeckte fast alkoholfrei, und die 7,80 € für die Flasche Wasser schienen viel zu teuer. Da ich aus Montreal komme, wo stilles Wasser in Restaurants normalerweise kostenlos ist, war ich besonders überrascht. Kurz gesagt, ein ordentliches Erlebnis, aber kein unvergessliches. Das Personal war zuvorkommend.

Perfekter Service und hervorragendes Essen, nichts zu beanstanden, exzellentes Lokal und Ambiente.

Pastaportionen sind okay. Von den Pizzen wird man auf jeden Fall satt. Die Preise sind gut.

Hausgemachtes Chili-Öl war das i-Tüpfelchen

Hervorragende, knusprige Pizza. Tolle Zutaten! Viele Tische drinnen und draußen. Ein regelmäßiger Besuch lohnt sich. 🍕

Klasse! Sehr kurzfristig einen Tisch im freien bekommen. War gut besucht aber alles entspannt. Waren zu sechst und haben sehr verschiedene Dinge ausprobiert. Alles durch die Bank sehr lecker. Wollten eigentlich noch auf einen Absacker wo anders hin. Aber weil alles gepasst hat gerne länger geblieben. Eine volle Empfehlung.

Sehr schön und ruhig Mitten in München gelegen. Der große Terrassenbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein. Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr gute Pizza 🍕👍🏻. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir suchten nach einem Restaurant, in dem wir endlich mal richtig italienisch essen konnten, und ich bin solchen Restaurants im Ausland gegenüber oft skeptisch. Stattdessen hatten wir ein sehr gutes Essen: eine köstliche Calzone, eine hervorragende Carbonara mit frischen Tagliolini, zwei Portionen Lasagne, Wasser und zwei Biere. Wir zahlten 83 €, was ein durchaus fairer Preis war. Das Restaurant ist geräumig und gut erreichbar, und die Bedienung ist freundlich! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Schönes italienisches Lokal. Die einzelnen Tische stehen nicht so nah beieinander wie oft in anderen in anderen Restaurants. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam. Die Pizza war gut, aber keine 5 Punkte. Werde ich wieder hingehen.

Ich hatte gegrillten Fisch, der gut war

Beim Betreten schon von zwei strahlenden Gesichtern empfangen worden. Die Strahlendosis hat sich während des gesamten Aufenthaltes nicht verringert. Vom Service, über die Speisen, bis zu dem aus einem ganzen Laib herausmodellierten Parmesan war alles perfekt. Und auch Espresso kann man im Viva Maria. Gut, dass ich nicht in München wohne, sonst könnte ich süchtig werden.

Wir kamen spontan zu Dritt, hatten eine Pizza Diavola, eine Lassgne und einmal Tagliatelle mit Parmaschinken, Walnüssen und Gorgonzolasauce. Alles war sehr lecker. Es wurde schnell und heiß serviert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Schade, dass wir nur kurz in München sind. Wenn wir zurückkommen, kommen wir sicher wieder hierher. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ich habe hier meinen Geburtstag mit knapp 30 Gästen gefeiert und wir hatten einen super schönen Abend! Das Essen war (wie immer) total lecker und das Ambiente war schön gemütlich. Die Abstimmung im Vorfeld hat auch super geklappt. Kann ich nur empfehlen :)

Yesterday we went out to eat with my friends and it was such a beautiful and delicious experience. We are visiting Munich and happened to find this restaurant by chance – truly highly recommended!

Nope, spaghetti swimming in grease, no Parmesan at the table!! I have to season my salad at the table – with a poorly equipped spice rack! My salad needs more than salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar... 3 thin slices of cheap baguette instead of ciabatta... a tiny espresso that barely moistens the tongue – without the usual glass of water. They can only afford this poor quality in the long run, because many LMU employees need a quick lunch break – if you're going to charge Munich prices, then please charge metropolitan quality! Only the friendly service staff deserve stars.

My five Stars are about the location... nearby city center but still very quiet.

Portions far too small for the price.

Overpriced: be prepared to be stylished ripped-off. Half portion spaguetti pesto10.5 EUR, 0.5 liter beer 5 EUR, mini schoco-cake dessert 10.5 EUR = 26 EUR. Location is good, quiet street with no traffic, but it does not compensate the rip-off. I am not coming back.

The food was very good, but the portions could have been a bit larger. The service was very friendly. We think the ambiance inside is nicer than the outside. We would have liked to have at least a small token of appreciation for the guest of honor, given that we know in advance that a special birthday is being celebrated, be it a small flower on the table, table decorations in general, or a small candle or something similar. All in all, a good restaurant.

I ordered food from you today for a birthday party and paid €16 for a portion of spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the portion delivered: it was a small, poorly presented portion, more like a child's portion. For €16, I would have expected a reasonable, filling portion. If the price had been €10-11, I would have been able to understand that, but in this case, the price-performance ratio was not good in my opinion. I would like to ask you to consider my feedback as constructive criticism, as I otherwise value good quality and fair portions and hope to be able to order from you again in the future.

It was delicious and the food was served very quickly. Excellent value for money. We were there as a large group.

We happened upon this place today and are so glad we did as the food was excellent. Our server, however, was pleasant to other tables yet cold and inattentive to us.

Very nice Italian food! As the weather was great we were sitting outside, it’s not far from a big street, but it was quite pleasantly quiet. My friends ate pizza, very thin crust, which I prefer. I had a tagliolini dish.

We've been enjoying going here for years. The pizzas are excellent, not too thin, not too thick, the pasta dishes always taste good and the service is very attentive. And you also sit very comfortably and beautifully. One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Munich. Only recommended.

Nice Italian near Sendlinger Tor. The pizza tastes really good. The pasta made from the Parmesan loaf is also very, very good. The waiter was nice, but since the shop wasn't particularly full, he was often unresponsive 🤷🏼‍♀️

Weekday lunch menu. Decent quality but the Bolognese with diced pieces of goat cheese... a bit strange. And the sauce... well. Knowing that I would have asked for something else. Of course, the dessert was off the €9.50 menu??? A coulant with little appearance of being homemade. very expensive

Nice Italian restaurant - but a bit noisy as the tables are quite close to each other. Nevertheless, you feel comfortable. The pizzas were very good. Well topped and fresh out of the oven. Price-performance match. The temporary waiter would have to talk a little more and perhaps interact with the guest. We'd love to come back

I've been coming here to eat regularly for about 2 years and I've never seen a nicer restaurant in Munich with such good food than here. I can recommend it to anyone who wants good cuisine with a nice atmosphere!

Reception service and food really top notch When we came in we were greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome. The carbonara from the parmesan body was heavenly good and so was the pistachio tiramisu. I can only recommend it!!

The worst carbonara I've ever eaten. With lots of cream, cold and for an outrageous 20 euros. The pizza was okay, the waiters had AirPods in their ears and the oil on the table tasted rancid. They did offer to make the carbonara again, but we didn't want any more food to go to waste. The only tasty thing was the bottle of Sauvignon. Absolutely no further recommendation.

Unfortunately, the egg in the carbonara was fully cooked and closer to a scrambled egg than real carbonara.

All in all not bad, pizza and drinks were good. One star deducted because it's too loud and big for me personally and I also think there are better Italians in the corner. But that is more of a personal preference. The service was good, definitely recommended to go there.

Food was good (Spicy Spaghetti Al Olio, Pizza Regina with fresh mushrooms) The price is clearly excessive, the ambience is nothing special but not disturbing either. Service was very attentive and very nice, but had major problems with the language (German, English). You can do it, but there are better things for the money (but also worse ones)

The restaurant exceeded expectations, perfect location (in the city center),cozy environment, attentive waiters, and most importantly delicious food, I was with friends and we were all satisfied, we tried pizza Caprese, Diavola, Pasta Napoli and Tagliolini with truffle. Authentic Italian restaurant with excellent service and exquisite food, we had lasagna and carbonara and we liked it so much that we decided to try their bolognese and pizzas the next day. The dishes are generous in quantity and the pizza is a size to share between two. Delicious tiramisu and panacotta The price is quite moderate for the excellent quality of the dishes.
